A lot of German Empire enthusiasts are this very particular kind of guy where it's like, you can tell at some level they kinda want to be into Nazi Germany, you know, aesthetically, but obviously there's a cultural taboo against being super into Nazi shit and the only people who can push past that are the ones who are virulently antisemitic enough to say the Nazis were Good, Actually. Ok this is interesting to me, particularly bc I just wanted to know more about her family and a few bits jumped out at me. First:

DUH of course they're mormons how did I not clock that??? Having tons of kids and playing trad just reeks of LDS I'm ashamed of myself.

And:

Does "gift of tongues" mean something different in mormonism than evangelicism? Bc my interpretation of it is its referring to speaking in tongues, or the part of the Bible that people think talks about speaking in tongues. Or is it just a weird way to say he was bilingual lol?
