Days go by, long fucking days where you're practically stuck in this bed. You could get up and walk around but you didn't want to. You stared at the ceiling, kind of hoping it would fall down on you but it never came. Your face stuck in the same position for hours as you melted into the bare sheets of the hospital bed. A singular tear pricks down your cheek while you look towards the dying flowers that sit on your bedside table.

"Hi honey!" Your nurse walks into your room with some food clumped on the plate. You glance up at her with weak eyes. She places the food on your bedside table. Glancing at the withered flowers, she sighs. "They been in here recently?" Jane asks with a hint of disappointment. Your head shakes, not really wanting to even think about or even talk about them, let alone speak to them. "Listen, I know what they did to you was terrible and you probably never want to open that wound but-"

When you scoff and look away after the 'but', she continues talking. "...You should talk to someone about it. I'm not asking you to talk to them. Because god knows I wouldn't even look at them, but you should see a therapist. You do need one and you can't keep pushing away everyone who wants you to get better." Jane's sweet smile makes you acknowledge that there are nice people in this world.

"I-I uhm- I was forced to go to a session like within the first week of being here but they just..." you trail off, looking towards the flowers that had lost nearly all their life. Huh, you never thought you could relate to flowers.

"I understand, I do." She gently puts her hands on your knee. This time you don't flinch though. This time, memories didn't flash through your eyes - forcing you to relive the horrible things those fucking four put you through. This time, it was peaceful, it was comforting. "You should still give it another go, after what you went through - you need someone safe." Your nurse's thumb rubs against your knee as she speaks.

You take in her words, the lingering feeling of wanting to get better - to heal - stabs at your heart but you also wanted to show those fucking horrible four that this is what they fucking did to you. Not wanting to waste time getting better, if you even could, you knew deep down you'd always hurt. You wouldn't be able to trust anyone again - especially a man. What they did to you tore you apart.

So, you shrugged off your nurse's words before she let you be, to eat your hospital food. The slop slumped onto the plate looked so disgusting. The sandwich that you could tell would stick to the roof of your mouth was unappetizing. Honestly the food there made you less hungry. After sighing and shoving the meal to the bedside table, pushing the dead flowers off the wood so they splattered all over the floor. The hard floor was littered with wilted petals and the dark, pale green stems.

So here you are. Sat in another white fucking room, except there wasn't a lonely bed or flowers scattered across the floor. There were two cream couches and a massive window. And a woman wearing a tight pair of trousers, a white blouse with a blazer swept over the couch she was sitting on top of. The girl was holding a clipboard with text filling the papers. Her hair was straight and was neatly brushed - the total opposite of you. “Ah, y/n? Right? You can call me Jones." she smiled as you came into her viewline. You nod nervously as you swipe down on your little gown the hospital gave you. 

Multiple panic attacks. Your body was in pain. The wounds that litter your body - not to be healed ever again. Your 8 fingers that trailed over the stitched up cut across your cheek. The breakdown you had just a week ago. How you flinch when anyone (but Jane) gets close.

All of that flashes through your head while you sit opposite the women. "You're quite famous, you know?” the woman states. You tilt your head towards the left. 

“Oh?” you hum, looking around the room, clearly avoiding eye contact. She scribbles something quick onto a clean bit of paper, the one with text flopped over the top of the clipboard. “Heard about your ‘story’ a lot, from a lot of different people.” You slump against the sofa. Feeling the soft fabric beneath your fingertips. “Oh.” mumbling when your eyes finally meet hers for the first time. Her blue eyes connect with yours. A deep passion for helping was buried in her eyes. You could tell. 

“I haven't heard the story from the person who went through it all though.” Jones looks down at her clipboard, “why don't you tell me about it? How are you feeling?”

“What's there to tell?" you scoff. Sweat starts pouring from your forehead so you pull an arm that was littered with healing bruises up across it. Your question was not much of a question, more of a statement. What was there to tell? She knew the story, everyone fucking did. “Let's start with how's your day?” Jones smiled with a hint of amusement when your scoff reached her ears. “Fine.” She raised an eyebrow skeptically at your answer but didn't comment on anything. She leaned forward. Placing her clipboard on the seat beside her. 

Your figit uncomfortably, "that's.. all? Fine?” Jones questions, her voice hinting at suspicion. “Yep.” 

“You know if you aren't honest, I can't help you." 

After burying your head into your hands, you drag your cheek down with your palm as you let out a long sigh, "I'm doing better.” 

“Well that is good to hear,” she coos, reaching for her clipboard and writing down a few words in the margin. “Has anyone visited you lately?” Her question makes you hesitate for a moment. “Like family and friends?” Jones nods whilst leaning back.

Looking around the office you notice the way the woman in front of you tilts her head in the slightest when you shake your head. Her ramblings go on and on but you end up blurring them out. High squeaking forms in your ears, blinding out your therapist talking. 

That's when a loud bang sounds from the door that you entered through. It brings you back to life. You flinch back as the door opens. “Hey Jones, sorry 'm late just got outa trainin’” the blurred man walks through the door, holding tight onto a notebook. His scruffy appearance so familiar.

You wish you didn't have to face him yet.

“Your session is on a Thursday from now on, I told you-” she gets cut off when Johnny drops the book in his hands as he stares at you with wide eyes, his mouth opening slightly as fear shoots through your stomach and heart. The man before you mumbles one quiet word.

 “...Bonnie.”

I was thinking about the first time Jessie and Delia see each other in an emotionally vulnerable place because I enjoy thinking about how the other would just be so gentle and comforting and present and how much it heals them.

I can see Delia explaining a big fear she has or a sensitive memory or possibly just letting Jessie see her breakdown and seek comfort or Delia struggling to ask for help because on the surface she doesn't want to be a bother or burden but deep down its because she hasn't really opened up to anyone and admit that shes just been trying to make everyone happy but now she's burnt out and never stopped since Ashs dad left, just trying to stay strong for Ash so she never actually feels her feelings from his dad leaving.

For Jessie I can see it being about a certain day of the year, either a holiday or just a random date or a specific temperature and weather, just one day every year, and at first she doesn't say anything and tries to joke about it but eventually it leads to explaining something bad happened and later she confesses it was the day her mom left and didnt come home or the last day she talked to her or the day a random TR intern knocked on the door and told her her mom was MIA. Jessie then tries to start making light of it as to not worry Delia but Delia quickly puts her hands on Jessies cheeks and puts her forehead on hers and she just says "I'm so sorry" , cue everyone crying.

Then comfort and tissues and cuddles and jokes and an hour later they are asleep with puffy eyes and smiles.

if i remember correctly, mhin is summed up as the cursed outsider for their official title so kuras had pulled off an amazing feat to get mhin on his side.

i think that's unlikely regarding the angel theory because it wouldn't explain why no one want to talk about the senobium but anything can happen in a game lol. damn, the demo was a good strategy for them. that's true, even the studio was shocked how the game was completely funded in 4 hours.

well, the studio could have compromised with a different/horror sprite of him but only leander got that special treatment lmao. it could be vice versa, that's the mc leaves mhin instead after they reveal an emotional side like that would still be traumatic, imagine distrusting everyone for your whole life and as soon as they open up to someone, that person is like i don't want your emotional baggage, goodbye.

i agreed, mhin doesn't seem to enjoy violence so they would likely only use it as a last resort. those type of yandere like leander are the most deadliest and when they snap, they are terrifying as hell. but leander would only likely have a breakdown ep if the reader try to break up with him etc because leander know what's he doing lol.

reading your ais's blushing confession just reminded me of a certain line from that falling in love song in (disney) hercules lmao, i think it's something like, girl you got it bad, you're in love. that's true and i highly doubt ais would snap and if he does, i highly doubt he would be as bad as leander.

it's like draken got the shit end of everything LMAO and i'm sure baji wouldn't had gotten that treatment if he didn't died. i think the biggest disappointment of the female characters that they were only linked to one arc due to a male character connection so they all got discarded when it was over.

i'm sure yuzuha would gladly return your love and affection! but even then, it's like senji just got a magical powerup, it wasn't realistic compare to the way that yuzuha fought.

it's true that tora redeemed himself but chifuyu definitely played a huge role in that and he is super forgiving considering kazutora did that to baji. kazutora's relationship with baji was yandere like but chifuyu was just baji's biggest fan lmao. do you agree? i think taiju's one should get special focus because he did reformed mostly by himself but the inspiration came from takemichi.

i have conflicted emotions towards MM because i was there from day one with that studio where i played their games beforehand that were 100x times better and i got annoyed that the studio basically just gave up creating other games and just kept adding onto MM because of their success.

If you're not familiar with the show -- if not, you should definitely listen to it -- here's its mission statement: "We’re talking wellness and weight loss for real life, which includes drinking, eating out, and skipping the grocery store. I attended with my cousin John, who is a podcast superfan, and arrived early. Jenn was already there and greeted everyone warmly who walked in to the room.

We were vetted by Jenn's Mom, Judy, who checked the guest list. Her mother, a lovely woman with a bright smile and bubbly personality, exuded pride that she had for her daughter and what's she accomplished.

"Jenn didn't want to work for others," Judy told us. "She wanted to do something special to help others."

"She's found her calling." Judy added.

When it was time for the podcast to start, every attendee was given a swag bag with a branded notebook and even nonalcoholic cocktail, among other items.

We talked to attendees before the podcast began, and it was clear that the many people there had their life changed by Jenn, her podcast and her life coach business.

One attendee, Chad, was a clear devotee, with an enthusiasm usually reserved for Taylor Swift.

The podcast episode was a simple format. Attendees asked questions, and Jenn did her best to answer them. As a podcaster, Q&A shows are the most difficult. There's no script, just your knowledge, experience, and wisdom.

Listening to her answers to audience questions, I realized that Trepeck is special among health and wellness advisors. Unlike others in her field who offer a silver bullet -- 50 pushups a day, don't eat carbs, drink pickle juice -- Trepeck focuses on wellness and weight loss for real life.

Trepeck was quoted in a ShoutOut DFW article: "There are two factors that set me apart. I look at everything I do as how to help others help themselves. It’s about THEM, not about me. My goal is for my clients to NOT need me, and I’ve structured my business in a way that supports this. I think most people in my field sell longer programs or need their clients to be with them for years so they can make money. That’s not how I work."

During the hour-long Q&A, Trepeck shined as host, exuding good humor, a laser focus on the attendees, an affinity for dispelling health myths, and an ability to dissect complex health and wellness issues into digestible nuggets. She even has a regular segment on her podcast called Nutrition Nugget.

True to her health anthem, Trepeck served attendees salad and, of course, fries. Attendees snacked and chatted with Trepeck after the show.

As a live host, Jenn Trepeck is a natural. She's comfortable in front of an audience with a disarming wit, wide smile that never disappears, and a passion for health and wellness and helping people.

During the live event, Trepeck dispensed health information that isn't complicated, yet still requires dedication of purpose.

Answering one question about losing weight while still drinking alcohol, Trepeck launched into a fascinating explanation of how the liver works, prioritizing toxins like alcohol for immediate breakdown and dispersal.

Trepeck also questioned the efficacy of "elimination diets," where some macronutrient or food group is banned, and she put a new spin on intermittent fasting and sleep.

After watching Jenn Trepeck in action, I was even more certain that the committee who voted Salad With A Side Of Fries the Best Health & Wellness Independent Podcast last month had definitely chosen the podcast deserving of such an honor.

Starting, maintaining, and monetizing an independent podcast is a degree of difficulty that perhaps Simone Biles would only attempt on the vault. It requires so much of podcasters like Jenn Trepeck. Sadly, too many fail, but Jenn Trepeck, her podcast, and her life coach business have achieved exit velocity, and safely orbit in the stratosphere of success.

Being partly inhuman (having a lineage with demons/angels/Shadows/Persona/etc.), she is capable of entering areas that are inaccessible to a typical human and/or is immune to most paranormal phenomena. E.g. the Dark Hour and Mementos.

Similarly, her inhuman nature allows her to communicate with demons/Shadows in a normal fashion. This further leads to a fair chance that she will not be attacked on sight by them and thus avoid any confrontations. That said, certain factors will affect this: Most enemies will simply be confused over her existence, sensing both the human and inhuman sides of her; depending on their own personalities, an enemy may err on the side of caution or may disregard and attack her anyway. Opponents that will usually avoid a fight with her include: weak, bottom-tier enemies, enemies known for their intelligence or wisdom, and Neutral-aligned enemies. Opponents that will 100% attack her on sight with no recourse: Law-aligned enemies. For Chaos-aligned enemies, they have a tendency to try and convert her to their causes. May will always rebuff them, and depending on their personalities, they may let the matter go or become enraged at her refusal.

She is also able to see the entrance to the Velvet Room and while said room is operating as per usual, she may enter that liminal space. But as she is not a guest, she will not have access to any of their specific services, and is treated more of a passing visitor who may strike up conversation with the residents while they're not busy.

She avoids the Expanse as much as she can. Not because she particularly hates the place, but more because there's too many demons who may notice her connections to the Law and Chaos sides and thus bother her about them in some fashion. Sure, she could just explode them all out of her way, but that's tedious. For that reason, as well as out of pure personal preference from her human side - she stays in realms and worlds where humanity is more prevalent, or at least where some form of human civilization is present. Not that it doesn't have its own cons of course—humans are often so ignorant—but at least most humans will first knock before breaking down her door.

Because of her messy connections to the sides of Law and Chaos however, she has an unfortunate need to be constantly on the move in order to keep ahead of their notice or subsequent hounding. As a result, she is often moving from place to place, job to job, and generally trying to stay out of supernatural trouble (though keeps poking her nose into it out of curiosity anyway).

Persona 2 - IS + EP

A journalist employed under the magazine Coolest, though she primarily deals with the smaller lifestyle columns and horoscope section as she, para-quote, "hates working and likes being lazy."

She is also a Rumormonger, but due to her half-demon/angel background, is very aware of how rumors have been turning into truth for the past several years already. As such, while she will collect rumors, she behaves differently from other Rumormongers in that she requires a hefty price for sharing any - said price is not money, but something so absurd that it's usually not possible to meet her demand anyway. (Unless you spread a rumor that her whack request is attainable somewhere like, who knows, maybe that Ame-no-Kagutsuchi sword is actually real and you just need to defeat some underwear-wearing ninja at the top floor of the Abandoned Factory or god fucking knows.) Alternatively, and more commonly, she may ask for a rumor to be suppressed as a price for spreading one.

While she is unaware of the specifics, she has personally observed that some nonsense is happening between "higher powers" (i.e. Philemon and Nyarlathotep) and because nothing good ever comes out of this sorta bullshit, she is keeping her head down and simply watching how things proceed without trying to meddle too much. Or trying to anyway - it's kinda hard to avoid a bunch of maniac cultists and demons all over the damn city.

Her inhuman background also makes her immune to the splitting of the timelines following the end of IS. In effect, this allows her to reside on This Side with all of her memories of what happened on the Other Side, in addition to being able to freely traverse between the two sides.

Her Persona of choice that she defaults to during this time is Lucifer.

Persona 3

An editor working for a publishing company on Tatsumi Port Island. Despite loathing the workload and tending to nitpick everything in front of her, she highly enjoys reading the books she is given to review and edit. While at this editing job, her favorite book turns out to be a book about a pink alligator that was submitted to her for review before it got published by her employer.

She is aware of the true nature of Apathy Syndrome. Similarly, she is aware that Death is present on the island in several pieces - though how exactly or even why, she doesn't know. She is also aware that should these scattered pieces reunite, Death will call for Nyx, and subsequently, the Fall of humanity.

That said, while intrigued by the sudden changes and events of the game, she has chosen to remain a bystander - watching to see how the chosen representatives of humanity will combat this particular threat.

Post-P3, regardless of whether she personally knew the protagonist, she will be aware in a basic sense about what had transpired at the top of Tartarus - and commend the protagonist for their strength of will to ascend from human to concept and avert the Fall. That said, she will also feel a little pity for them, for their sacrifice would necessitate the abandonment of their human nature.

Her preferred Persona during this time is Lucifer; she is capable of summoning others, but will refrain unless absolutely necessary.

Persona 4

A journalist that gets stationed in Inaba once the serial murders/disappearances start. Her job is to cover said incidents for the local newspaper back in Okina City - though for the most part, she's treating it as a lazy vacation and doing the bare minimum of journalism on her end.

She can tell something is off about the town just from the unusual, supernatural nature of the fog that rolls in every now and then - and there's even a Velvet Room! - but is unaware of the specifics of what divine scheme is going on here.

Accidentally discovers the TV World while trying to clean some dust off a television screen. Yes, accidentally.

While she is capable of entering the other world without any issues (no fatigue, can see through the fog, technically already has a Persona of her own), she can still manifest a Shadow self if she lingers too long there. She will not manifest a corresponding region/dungeon, however.

Her Shadow self focuses on her misanthropic side, being disdainful of humans and their ignorance, as well as their habit for avoiding difficult truths and only embracing facts that are twisted to meet their own desires and expectations. With such a perspective, her Shadow views herself as the only one who can perceive, understand and accept 'truth' itself, and postures herself as the sole guide of humanity - effectively, a tyrant.

Her preferred Persona during this time is Kassandra; she is capable of summoning others, but will refrain unless absolutely necessary.

Persona 5

A journalist working for a gossip magazine called Shibuya Tomorrow, primarily writing for their lifestyle and horoscope sections. That said, much like any other journalist at this time, she's a close follower of the news regarding the Phantom Thieves of Hearts - and in terms of bias, has a very balanced, centralist view on them (that is to say, likes their rebellious nature, but believes a certain detective's stance on their methodology to not be baseless either). Nonetheless, she still leans more in favor to the Thieves.

She is aware of Mementos and the fact that something very, very Law-aligned is down there. As such, for a majority of the game's duration, she steers clear of the place unless she really can't help it for whatever reason.

She doesn't know what happened with the Velvet Room or even what its current, exact state is, but she can similarly sense a certain God of Control's rancid vibes from beyond its glowing door. As such, she also tries to avoid the place, as well as the eyes of the wardens guarding it. (Once the usurper is gone, she will likely try to question its returned residents on what the actual hell happened because since when did Philemon's servants become so weak ass??)

She will still be affected during the 3rd Semester; her delusion is that she's a normal human and ignorant of the supernatural. That said, because of her own nature, she will suffer from a ridiculous level of headaches and a persistent sense of wrongness until she completely shakes off the delusion. If she does break out of it and realises the cause of all this, she will be simultaneously pissed at and pity Maruki. Pissed because forgetting and even twisting the truth of things (and very specifically, herself), however difficult and ugly, is an idea she despises. But she can still understand the idea of simply wanting to make people happy and free from suffering. Nonetheless, doesn't like the idea of having her own happiness "controlled" like this, with zero of her actual input.

During this time, she will default to Kassandra as her Persona, but may utilize Lucifer instead depending on the situation. She is also capable of summoning others beyond these two, but will refrain unless absolutely necessary. She will also not have a cool costume in Mementos, unfortunately. Because she's already a rebellious existence by literal biological and cosmological nature.

Loves to throw his child up in the air as a form of entertainment which also seems to calm them down and make them giggle. It was all fun and games until he threw them up again.

It was a whooosh! followed by a BUMP! and his life flashed before his eyes.

The way this man's jaw dropped is beyond me. He caught his kid who looked dazed and baffled while he stood there, hand covering his open mouth out of shock and pure fear as tears welled in his eyes upon hearing your hurried footsteps and worried voice.

You were gonna kill him.

He had a really bad headache and could barely focus on anything, still you left him in charge of taking care of the little toddler. He had a meeting with Bonten so he had no choice but to take the little devil with him, leaving them with a secretary that looked stressed out of her mind.

He still made an effort to take a peek every now and then and give the kid some food- which Kakucho probably reminded him to do. Things were going well until it wasn't, shit hitting the fan when his kid staggered into the room abruptly.

"W-wad! I... want mo j..juice?" His kid nearly crawled towards him, their request coming off more as a question. It only took two seconds to realize what the fuck was going on, judging from the glass in his kid's hand that held remnants of the alcohol the other members were previously drinking.

"Shit!" He hissed, scooping his child up into his arms and coddling them. "No, no, no, you were fine like a minuet ago, why??" Sanzu cried, eyes blown wide and shaking his kid as his world came crashing down on him.

"I hope you made a will," Kokonoi sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose as Kakucho searched for a bottle of water. Everyone's faces immediately paled once they realized they dire of the situation.

"Yeah, no shit, she's gonna kill me for being irresponsible, then she's gonna kill all of you for not stopping me from being irresponsible!" His kid continued to slur and babble incoherent words which didn't help the panicking pinkette. "I'm too pretty to die..."

Ran deadpaned as Mikey's eyes widened when he caught a glimpse of Sanzu's phone, noticing a notification that was soon to end everyone's career. "Uh, Sanzu...?"

Bonten's number two sent a shaky look to his boss, eye twitching on the edge of a breakdown as he held his child to his chest, praying to the higher Gods that Mikey was gonna tell him something good.

"y/n's coming back in 20 minuets."

His heart practically fell out of his ass.

"Fuck."

You know when you lose something that you can't find for shit so you just start looking in places you know damn well it couldn't be in? Yeah that was Rin.

"Get up." "Dude, you're kid isn't under this couch."

You know he's gone mad when he starts flinging cabinets open and close and mumbling how this was it, this was gonna be your 13th reason, it's all over for him.

Deadass lost his kid for a good two hours.

That was until he found the little gremlin walk in with a tired Ran and an annoyed Sanzu. Apparently, they found them wondering outside on their way back from a mission.

Yeah that could've gone way worse. Especially if you found out...

"Look daddy! I made a new friend!" His child smiled, bouncing up and down as they fumbled to retrieve something from their pocket.

"What is it sweeth-" Rindou choked when his kid pulled their friend out of their pocket, not even having time to react as this big ass fucking roach flew straight into his face, nearly getting into his mouth.

The WAY this man SCREAMED had Sanzu thinking his balls were kicked back in as the older haitani was left wheezing on the floor, watching his brother fight for his life against a bug.
