An earnest, oscillating swell of nerves came to life in the long, searching reach of Alex’s gaze — the crystalline tumbler clinging to the grip of her fingers swaying a little with the motion of her forward - shift on the plush of Sam’s couch.  

Much like Lena’s had, that morning across the lab, Sam’s gaze bristled the fine, cropped hair at the back of her neck;  made her insides roil with the thrill and its terrifying shade, and murmured for her heart to follow suit.  Diving in, in the context of Sam and Lena, barely constituted a speedy rappel from a swerving chopper or an unmoored free - fall from a sixty - story high rooftop somewhere above National City’s bustling traffic.  It was stratospheric — and Alex had never shied away from taking a risk.

“ And I agree with you,  ”  she confessed, the measure of her exhale tight with the gravity of what it meant to take the first step, when the first step felt akin to stepping foot on the surface a brand new world.  

“ I mean, I like you both... a lot.  I just never thought that I could feel like this, you know, or — that I wasn’t just completely crossing a line.  ”

new sideblog!

i've made a sideblog for art, @happy-speedy

it's probably where most "toybox" stuff will go for now, and hopefully i'll post art more frequently there

welcome!

i've been kind of leery about being on tumblr, but i often go by "speedy" or "platypus" (often shortened to "plat"). my main blog is @angeryspeedo, but this is my sideblog which i have decided to use for art when i make it!

more often than not you'll see things about my "toybox", which is mostly random stories and whatnot that roll around in my head. it's a pretty packed crossover, but the most dominant element thus far has been Kirby.

eventually i will update this with more information!

i do not take requests unless i know you or i specify otherwise.
