Just my Ninjago Oni oc and golden Oni Lloyd

I changed my Oni design just slightly, and I messed up slightly with the coloring so don’t mind that

I tried giving Lloyd some different features from that of an Oni, due to him being part dragon and human as well. I made his ears shorter and a lot fluffier than a pure blooded Oni. I also gave him green scales and textured(?) horns like that of a dragon. He also has hair going all down his back and tail due to being part dragon.

I might make a ref sheet, but I’ve been struggling with art block and hating my art style so it might be a little bit.

(Also Oni do have white stripes, I just don’t own a white gel pen that actually works)

I haven’t posted in a while, and here’s a drawing I did of Nya.

Ok so I did redesign on my Oni drawings and more info.

There is a difference in “types” of oni, hunters, fighters, gatherers.

There are different jobs, caretakers, guards, healers, etc.

The males and females constantly switch between guarding and hunting for there young. Males will grow fluffier coats to keep the young warm, females don’t/can’t.

The young are just fuzz balls that loose there baby fluff and color as they get older.

Both male and female Oni are very protective of there kin.

Oni are shapeshifters so there’s no assigned gender to any role. There aren’t “mothers” and “fathers” there just parents. Unless the Oni prefers those terms.

I also couldn’t really decide what types of “paws” I wanted to give them, so there are different types.

Oni pups are born white or off white with colored stripes, these stripes come in different colors. Most common is purple, but colors can differ.

Oni are just giant cats, change my mind

Got a 320 Ohuhu marker set for Christmas! So I doodled a (M) Lloyd and tested some colors.

I have a few headcannons i might post but idk yet!

Just a serpentine oc, Minerva

She’s apart of a fan tribe called the Melatonri, which have the ability to make people and other serpentine sleepy (almost every living thing)

They produce a vapor out of the 3 holes that line there mouths (I know on a real snake they’re called “heat pits” which are used to “smell” and find prey). When this vapor enters one’s system, it will make them extremely tired though it’s not strong enough to knock someone out. It will just make them disoriented and have a difficult time focusing.

They do have a venom which will actually knock someone out once it enters the system. They cannot constantly use there venom as it will make there vapor much weaker. They’re fangs are also very fragile, so they can break there fangs if they bite wrong, so they mostly prefer using vapor. Only using there venom in situations where they feel extremely threatened

They are small compared to the other tribes, but because of they’re size they are quick.

I might make a size chart with the other tribes (including 2 more fan tribes I have :D)
