#WaybackWednesday & #OnThisDate: Happy Cinco De Mayo everyone!! On this date last year (5/5/2020), I was in the Town of Lebanon,NY covering a food giveaway event held at the Walter B. Howard Elementary School for “The Eastwick Press”. After leaving there, I went to the Immaculate Conception Church nearby to say my prayers at their two shrines and went to visit Clifford the Dog at the New Lebanon Public Library. I needed some clarity and faith that morning at the church. The first few months with NYS on Pause were very tough for me to manage mentally. Not being able to see my close friends in person, all music & art events were put on pause, Mom was undergoing heart issues at the time, and although things at work were somewhat steady on and off, my motivation to develop my own business further dwindled. And plus, I missed hearing back from a certain special person that I grew strong feelings for that I was in contact with since March 2020..!! It was a tough period for me. A year has changed since that day. I am fully vaccinated, I’ve been praying daily, work has been slow on and off this year although some cool things are set for me on the horizon to focus on, and I’m now waiting on another response from that special person I re-connected with again this April, just 4 days shy of my 32nd Birthday...!!! Just need to have faith, patience, and determination to achieve and get the things I want in life!! Happy Wednesday!! Stay healthy and safe!! Keep the faith strong and alive within you!!
