Camille Soto

Years ago, Dominique and Camille were married in Tartosa. Each year they returned on vacation in hopes of re-experiencing the love - and rich local culture - only Tartosa offers. Once both women retired, they decided to make their yearly trip more permanent.

Dominique is an artist who now spends her days painting landscapes and portraits in the village square and Camille is a writer who has taken an interest in the area's storied history. Many consider her to be the Porto Luminoso historian and she can often be found enjoying the outdoors alongside Dominique while chatting about local history with anyone willing to listen.

SIM DUMP

Had a request for some university girls but I got sidetracked by the new bg3 update so it's a little late. Sims have everyday wear only and some parts of the makeup category applied to all outfits. I try to make my townies blend in to the background so the outfit is pretty basic. Traits are randomized and aspiration is once again, probably set to fitness.

I'm going to queue up some more gameplay posts, but first here's some sneak previews of where the newly graduated college kids have landed.

With Camille's 19,000 simoleons!!!, Ros and Cammy purchased this little starter house in Middleground. Rosalind's parents' house is just out of frame to the left, and I think Ros'll be happy to be so close to them, she's very family orientated.

Weirdly, I built this lot off a single random, uncredited picture that crossed my dash, and recently I came across the architecture site it originated from. I got about a third of the floorplan correct in my unknowing build, haha!

Speaking of building, a while ago @kayleigh-83 shared the floorplan to this beautiful apartment building in her game, and I thought the layout looked so good, so I stole borrowed it and moved Jayne and Lily in on the third floor. Lily got the big bedroom, Jayne was still too despondent to rock, paper, scissors her for it. (Apparently I made it one tile wider? Huh. Thank you for the floorplan, Kayleigh! <3)

Ashley: I can't BELIEVE I have to TALK to the landlord to sign my lease.

...and since Harper is moving home with her moms to save money, I don't have a picture for her, because I stupidly didn't think of playing them before graduating everyone, so she's gonna have to bop around on a test lot while I finish the round to keep everyone's aging in sync. >_>

Vanderbilt - Spring Year 4

We mourn today, Victor Vanderbilt, town recluse and one-time murderer.

Ian aged into a child. Now that Ian is older, Camille wonders how she's going to tell him about his father. Was Ian's father really the villain that Victor lead Camille believe he was? Was their relationship all a sham or did Leo really live Camille? Ian's such an inquisitive child. He's bound to have questions.

Camille falls in love with townie Rainbow Flowers, who will take the Vanderbilt last name. Rainbow is a free spirit and hopefully can get Camille out of her sad slump.

-->With the naked times over, the group got back to actually enjoying their time at the bar. Smiler plopped themselves down to socialize some more and sloooowly finish their Plasma Jane, while Victor grabbed himself another Wrench and Alice washed down her steak with the specter sip in her inventory (given her whole thing right now is improving her skills, I'll take the free points this stuff gives!). Alice then did a little sniffing and scavenging while Victor went to chill in the side room with the jukebox – this didn't turn up anything of consequence, though, so Alice joined Victor for some dancing time instead (though I had to change the music once I realized Alice hated the original “Backyard” station I had picked – sorry Alice!) After that, Alice then got sent outside to scavenge some more (to the disgust of Camille – hey, YOU have no moral high ground here, memory-erasing alien) and mark her territory –

-->And then I was like “I came here to do more werewolf stuff – is Rory around?” She was indeed, happily, hanging out by the bonfire near the Wildfangs’ pack hangout, so I had Alice tunnel over there, say hi, and challenge her to a tug-of-war. Rory easily won, so I decided to have Alice try a spar next – but either Rory wasn’t interested or Alice was too tired, because the next time I looked over, Alice was curling up on the ground for a nap and Rory was wandering off. *shakehead* Werewolves sometimes. . .

-->Back at the bar, Victor and Smiler continued the dance party for a bit, with Smiler letting off a happy bomb with their “Influence Emotion” powers at the end in an attempt to cheer up the cranky memory-erasing alien nearby. (I do not think it worked.) They then flew off to Greg's house to look for frogs in the old water pump nearby. They successfully grabbed a spotted heart frog, and were successfully not grabbed by Greg! Victor, meanwhile, got one last Wrench at the bar (if that wasn't his favorite drink before, it sure is now), hanging out just long enough to see some familiar faces show up -- namely, Bob Pancakes and (pre-family-refresh) Bella Goth! The latter in a truly ridiculous outfit – I THINK she was dressed up as a space ranger with a fedora. Like, wow. The townie fashion is at new levels of weird now. XD
