Dabi/Touya x gn!Medic Reader
Summary: Touya sneaks into your apartment after a mission, your relaxing evening quickly ruined when you see his injuries
Warnings: language, wounds and injuries, mostly fluff, Touyas kinda 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 at the end lol
Tumblr media
There you were, soaking in your bubble bath, listening to Lana Del Rey’s “Norman F*****g Rockwell” album as you relaxed for the first time in what felt like months. You’d planned this night for yourself more than a week in advance, carving out the evening from your rigorous schedule as a medic.
Driving or running back and forth, seeing death and pain on every corner- you loved to take care of others, it was why you took the job- but it took a heavy toll. So it was no wonder you were taking a break, if only for the night
You’d even kicked out your boyfriend Touya for the night, though he was reluctant, he obliged, grumbling as he left hours before, saying he was busy anyways, although you doubted that. But you knew he’d find a way to make himself busy, you just didn’t know how.
That was, until you heard the familiar creaking of your apartment’s balcony door opening, as well as a small but memorable grunt from Touya as he came in. “Hey, Y/n?”You sat up a bit in the water, sighing. “Touya, I told you this was my-“ “I know, I’m sorry… but I kinda need- oh” he entered the bathroom, stopping in the doorway with a smirk on his face as he saw you.
“Nice view.” “Touya you’re smoking!” You looked him up and down, the smell of burnt flesh hitting your nostrils, as well as the all too familiar metallic scent of blood- he was burnt, and bleeding, and it didn’t look too good. He chuckled dryly, his voice rough as i his throat and lungs had been affected by the heat of his quirk as well. “Thanks” He grinned, shrugging as he leaned against the doorframe. You scoffed, standing and wrapping yourself in a towel- self care could wait, he was hurt.
Meanwhile, Touya stood reluctantly by, wincing slightly as you stood, feeling guilty for interrupting you. He knew you were tired, but he didn’t know what else to do. “…sorry..again…” he grumbled quietly as you made him take of his coat and sit down on the counter,  standing between his legs as you pulled off his shirt to get a better view of his injuries.
He chuckled as you did so, wiggling his eyebrows at you as he put his hands on your hips, squeezing your soft flesh through the fluffy towel that covered you. You scoffed again, swatting him away as you examined his wounds- his burns were slightly worse, a few staples gone, as well as some bruises on his ribcage, and a gash on his side. You clicked your tongue “you over exerted yourself, Touya.” You sighed, rubbing a gentle hand over his scars.
He shuddered beneath you, shaking his head with a huff. “Not my fault…had to cover for those whack jobs…” he pouted slightly, watching you as you moved to get gauze and wrappings from the cabinet under the sink. “Still…you need to be more careful…it’s a miracle you’re still alive after all these burns, don’t make it worse” you sighed, cleaning the gash and applying an ointment.
He said nothing this time, watching you silently as you did so. He couldn’t feel pain anymore, so the wounds themselves didn’t affect him, the problem was the blood loss, something that you were oh so good at fixing.
He watched as you gently wrapped the gash, and checked his breathing and the bruises on his ribcage to make sure he hadn’t broken a rib or punctured his lung.
You knew he couldn’t feel pain, he’d told you from the first time you’d treated a wound. Nevertheless you were always so gentle with him, making sure you wouldn’t hurt him even if he couldn’t feel it. It was that kind of caring nature that had drawn him to you, made him fall in love.
“There, now to those staples” you said softly, more to yourself than to him, the small mutterings of a trained and thoughtful medic. Something he’d always found adorable. He chuckled softly, looking down at you as you rummaged for surgical staples “regular staples work fine, ya know” he said, shaking his head with a smile. You looked up at him in shock “like hell they are, you can get an infection! Do you seriously use regular staples?!”
He laughed at this, a hoarse, but hearty laugh, his throat still dry from his overuse of flames “do ya really think I’d have sterilized medical grade staples on me?” he waved a dismissive hand, grinning, the staples on his face tugging back his skin with the smile. You shook your head, finding the surgical staples. “No, I guess not” you rolled your eyes, trying not to smile.
You applied them, rubbing a gentle hand over the line of staples “these’ll last much longer than regular ones, you know” you said softly, gesturing to the new staples shining against his skin. He shrugged, hopping off the counter and grabbing his shirt, which was covered in blood. “Eh, they’ll all pop out just the same” he sighed as you took the bloody shirt, going to go put it in the washing machine “if they all pop out just the same, then at least let me make sure you have sterilized ones” you sighed, tossing it in the washing machine and starting it. He watched you do so, a lopsided smirk on his face as he leaned on the doorframe, watching your figure, barely hidden under the towel, as you bent over to start the washing cycle.
He had no arguments for your words, though. Whether it was because he knew you were right, or if he was just too transfixed on your body to care, but his general opinion was made obvious as he walked up behind you, his hands on your hips as he pulled you closer, nuzzling his face against your soft hair. You sighed, leaning against him. “…thanks, pretty” he mumbled, squeezing closer and shutting his eyes.
It was futile to fight it- he’d already accidentally trampled on your whole night, your plans down the drain like the now cold bath water. He finally spoke, his words gentle and slightly saddened, as if he’d been reading your mind.
“Lemme make it up to you” he said gruffly, his hands still gently gripping your hips as he swayed you gently side to side with him, back and forth absentmindedly, like a lulling dance. You sighed softly, turning around to face him as you wrapped your soft arms around his now bandaged waist. “And how’ll you do that?” You smiled softly, leaning your head against his chest, your tired eyes fluttering shut.
He laughed softly, the sound vibrating through his chest and against your head, a sensation you’d always found to be relaxing. He smirked, tugging his nimble fingers through your still slightly damp hair as his other hand tugged at your towel. He looked down at you, moving his hand to lift your chin as he grinned at you “I got a few ideas doll” he winked, causing you to giggle like a little kid as he dragged you to your bedroom, quietly shutting the door to remain undisturbed, even by the gentle lull of Lana Del Rey which was still playing in the bathroom down the hall.

The water lapped, slow and gentle, along the shore, clustered constellations of shells scattered across wet sand, gulls cawing as they soared over the horizon in search of their next opportunity to feast. It was the perfect day for the beach, an azure sky painted with fluffy white clouds far off in the distance to border the sea, the ocean’s breeze kissing your warm skin as you lay beneath the afternoon sun.
Touya was perched under the umbrella, choosing to bask in its shade while lounging back in one of the chairs you two had carried over from the quaint little Airbnb you’d rented for the weekend, the bungalow sitting just one block off the shore.
You’d tried to coax him into the sun a couple of times but he’d just tugged down his shades, looking at you with all that bright sapphire blue, and said something about how the UV index this time of year wasn’t good for his tattoos. You’d actually been surprised with how serious he’d been about applying sunscreen beforehand, though with all the pale skin that hosted the inky artistry, you figured he had a couple reasons to want to stay protected.
And, truthfully, Touya had never been an avid beach-goer. To him, big bodies of water were really only good for one thing, and he’d left that singular, dark purpose back in his old life— in Dabi’s life. The one he swore he’d walk away from for good once he’d gotten a chance to escape it with you.
You’d practically had to beg him to take you down to the shore, or to tag along at all, since him and the height of summer didn’t often mix very well for several reasons. But you’d promised to make sure you guys would have an umbrella, and sunscreen, and that you didn’t have to stay for the entire day like most of the visiting tourists tended to do.
“Plus…” you’d attempted to entice him, “I just bought a new bikini and I really wanna wear it before the summer’s over…” It was baby blue, and if you knew one thing about Touya, it was that seeing you wearing his favorite color undeniably did something for him.
You’d been laying out on your beach towel for a while, napping under the sun, turning over every so often and peeking your eyes open to catch Touya staring at you in that cute new bathing suit.
Sometimes he’d try and act like he hadn’t been looking, quickly flicking his gaze to the rolling waves and taking another sip of his beer, maybe turning the page of the beat up old paperback he’d brought along with him for good measure. Other times he’d hold your gaze as it peered over your heart-shaped shades, one corner of his lips quirking up into a smirk that told you he was wishing you two weren’t out in public right now for reasons you were far too familiar with.
“Babe, c’mon,” he eventually beckoned you. “You’ve been out there for like an hour now. Why don’t you come and get something to eat? Cool off a bit?” Slowly, and only slightly reluctantly, you obeyed, pushing up from your soft resting place among the sand to saunter under the umbrella and join him in the shade.
“Here—” He reached into the little pull-along cooler you’d carted down the block and grabbed a bottle of water for you, handing over the ice cold beverage before urging you to take a seat on the towel spread out on the sand in front of his chair. You got down two big gulps of the water, refreshed by its chill and the veil of shade you now sat under, before you heard the telltale popping of the cap on a tube of sunscreen.
“Sit still,” Touya muttered as you glanced over your shoulder at him, a dollop of the lotion already in his palm. He began to rub the sunscreen into your back, massaging it into your shoulders and spreading it down your arms, slipping his long, warm fingers beneath the dainty strings of your bathing suit to make sure not a single inch of your precious flesh was missed.
“I already put some on before we left this morning,” you reminded him through a bit of a whine, about halfway done with your water now and starting to feel your stomach rumble, needing something more substantial to make up for all the energy the sun had stolen from you.
“Yeah, but that was this morning,” he grumbled, his touch making you flinch slightly as he reached your lower back, one of his hands hosting cold fingers from where it had been gripping his drink. “Trust me, babe. You’ll thank me tomorrow when you don’t wake up feeling like your skin is sandpaper from the burn.”
You sat patiently until Touya finished applying your sunscreen, having also finished the last of your water bottle by the time he was done, and then returned to the beach chair next to him as you’d originally planned.
You unzipped the lunch pack and pulled out two sandwiches, passing one to Touya, the one doused in extra-spicy hot sauce (you didn’t even have to guess which one was which despite them being almost exactly the same as his was a vibrant orange color around the edges where the hot sauce had soaked into the crust of the bread), as well as a container with the honeyed peaches you’d prepared the night before. You both kept your meals close to your chests as you ate, already feeling the eager gaze of hungry seagulls locking in on your food as they began to circle overhead.
“Ah, man…” you eventually whined after digging through the additional contents of the lunch bag again. “I think I forgot the napkins…” Now, once you ate the peaches (because you’d also somehow forgotten the forks, too) your hands would end up all sticky and slippery, collecting grains of sand that felt impossible to get rid of no matter how many times you brushed your hands together or wiped them on one of the towels.
“Guess you could go rinse ‘em off in the ocean,” Touya suggested. But then, as you continued to pout, staring down at your share of the fruit as if wishing you could will it to float into your mouth on its own accord, Touya wiped his spicy fingers off on the cleanest-looking edge of one of the towels and plucked up the container of peaches from your lap. Your mouth was already halfway to asking what he was doing before he held a glistening amber sliver between his thumb and forefinger and urged you to open your mouth for him.
As you let him feed you, lowering your head a fraction to where his hand was offering the morsel as his elbow rested on the arm of the chair, you looked up at him through your lashes, savoring the way the salt of his skin mingled with the sweetness of the peaches as you took both into your mouth, even going so far as to shyly, teasingly, suck the sugary juices from his fingers on the last bite.
You didn’t miss the way he was clenching his jaw, clearing his throat to suppress a moan as the sight of you, at the way your tongue felt curling around his long, slender digits, making them even wetter and stickier than before.
You flashed him a coy little grin before leaning over to place a peck to his cheek, knowing full well how much you’d gotten him worked up from that little stunt alone. That was ok though. He’d get you back later tonight once you two found yourselves in the comfort of your private little bungalow.
Touya narrowed his eyes at you playfully and said under his breath, in a voice low enough to be a whisper, “You are so…” but didn’t seem intent on finishing that sentence when you slid your shades back onto your nose and grabbed his hand, clasping your fingers with his, and casting him a mischievous side glance as you leaned back in your chair and pretended you were in the mood for another catnap.
Touya flipped up the armrests on the chairs that were in between you two, leaving no barrier and allowing him to sling his arm around your shoulders and tug you closer to his side, your chairs so close together they practically became a bench.
Now you really could fall asleep again, lulled by a satisfyingly full stomach and all the warmth that enveloped you, the natural scent of Touya’s skin mixed with sunscreen and seasalt and spices left over from lunch all mixing in the air around you.
Another peaceful hour passed, you resting comfortably against Touya while he read a few more chapters of his book, just listening to the rolling ocean waves and the steady beating of his heart, soothed by the slow rise and fall of his chest.
But Touya knew it was only a matter of time until you wanted another change of pace. You had yet to go into the ocean and he knew there was no way he was letting you wade in alone, inevitably dragged in after you to make sure you didn’t wander too deep and get swept away by any strong current, as well as to make sure every set of eyes that landed on you and your cute little bathing suit knew that you were taken— you were his— so they better not get any ideas about approaching and attempting to make any flirtatious smalltalk.
When you began to stir and asked him with a tinge of sleepiness to your tone, “Wanna go for a walk?” Touya was just relieved he still had a little more time before he had to face the sea.
“You wanna go for a walk?” he asked you in return, as if he wasn’t sure he’d heard you right, and once you gave him a cute little smile and a nod he marked his page, closed his book, and stood to help you to your feet where you stumbled a little as the sand shifted beneath your step.
Before you could fully lure him out into the sun, he jabbed a thumb over his shoulder at your various backpacks and bags and asked, “Is our stuff gonna be ok just left unattended like that?”
You told him it would be fine, that there were plenty of other people around to look out for it, and plus, you hadn’t brought anything too valuable along anyway. Even so, Touya hesitated. He’d lived so long in the worst parts of town, used to the fact that if anything even remotely worth stealing or selling was left just laying around it would be swiped within five minutes and gone for good. Sometimes he had to remind himself (or, more often than not, you had to remind him) that he didn’t live like that anymore.
Not only did you two now live in a safe, clean part of the city, but here, now, on this vacation, it wasn’t likely very many desperate criminals were skulking around looking for trouble. Not in the height of the season with crowds so dense it sometimes became hard to maneuver through them.
“C’mon,” you beckoned him, reaching for his hand and feeling a little lighter once he took it, allowing you to begin leading him away from his post of guarding your belongings. “We don’t have to go very far. There’s just a nice breeze right now and I wanna take a closer look at the water.”
As you strolled along you tried to tune out the excited screams of playing children and instead focus on the tranquil lull of the waves, pointing out sea shells that had washed ashore that you liked and gasping when you turned around one time only to see Touya holding up the abandoned, prehistoric husk of a horseshoe crab, every stretch of sand breaking way to a new bout of nature’s treasures.
Before he even had time to realize it, Dabi had found himself wading into the ocean up to his knees, you having lured him towards the water’s edge. You’d said you didn’t want to go in too far, the fear of possibly encountering a shark or any other sea creatures too scary to even consider, but against Touya’s initial feelings on the matter, he ended up scooping you up and running out further into the deep with you. Far enough away to grant the two of you a little bit of privacy from the other sea-going strangers, at least.
“Touya, no!” you shrieked once your body was nearly fully submerged, squeezing your eyes shut as if not seeing all that shimmering blue would make your fear less intense, you and him some of the few brave enough to venture this far out. Though, seeing as you’d been the one dragged out into the swaying, salty waves after all, you could hardly consider yourself brave in this instance…
“It’s ok, baby,” Touya said, and you could hear the way he was smirking in his tone, confidence and mischief colliding. Your grip around him tightened, hands clasped behind his neck as you tried to press yourself closer to his body as if allowing any room between the two of you would result in being whisked away by a rip current. “I got’cha.”
Finally, once you’d gained enough courage to open your eyes, Touya felt you relax a little. Glancing behind you at the shore, you could still see the amalgamation of people going about their business— children chasing each other and building sand castles while their parents tried to lounge under candy-striped umbrellas, a group of high schoolers playing volleyball further back on the sand, a man pulling along a cooler on wheels and shouting about ice cream, his enthusiastic calls just barely reaching your ears this far out.
“See?” he said, nudging his nose against your cheek. “Not so scary, is it?”
You shot him a look that you meant to be unamused, but he only took as adorable, letting out a light chuckle as he pressed a gentle kiss to your warm, damp forehead, readjusting his grip under your thighs to make sure he could still hold you securely as your feet likely wouldn’t reach the bottom if he let you go.
The two of you took a moment to stare out at the open water stretching on towards the glittering horizon for a bit, the chaos of the shore fading away in your soundscape until it felt like it was just you and Touya and the entire ocean to yourselves.
You could feel the vastness, like liquid infinity. You could feel the steady drumming of Touya’s heart as your sun-kissed skin turned cool under the water against his chest. But Touya’s hands, even beneath the salty waves, remained warm, or at least warmer than your skin felt where they touched you. Those hands were your own little piece of eternal summer.
After a while, the lifeguard with the glossy blonde waves blew his whistle, calling both of your attention and forcing you back to shore as he waved you towards the beach. When the water reached your waist Touya let you walk on your own, though kept his fingers intertwined with yours all the way back to where your towels and chairs awaited your return beneath the shifting shade of the umbrella.
Touya went to check your things, make sure everything was still there, and you resisted the urge to tell him you told him so once he’d confirmed that everything was, in fact, just as you’d left it.
Sunset was only a couple hours away now and, while you would’ve stayed there with him until dark, until the moonlight turned the waves from clear aquamarine to shining silver, the fact that dinner time was quickly approaching and you two were out of the food you’d packed, you figured it was probably time to call it a day and head back to the bungalow to shower off and get cozy before prepping the night’s meal together.
Touya did most of the heavy lifting when it came to carrying your things, but you tried your best to do your part too. Luckily the Airbnb wasn’t far, and as you two laughed about the flock of seagulls you’d seen swarm a group of teenagers on your way off the beach it helped pass the time it took to walk back even faster.
“If I were the kid with the freckles,” you said through a giggle, “I would’ve thrown that sandwich as far away from me as I could. The birds can have it!”
“Yeah, well, I think he tried that,” Touya recalled, also laughing a bit, “but it hit his friend with the spiky blonde hair in the face and then they all started swarming him instead.”
“Oh, yeah!” you said, bursting out in a fit of laughter again just by reimagining it. “Oh my god, he was so mad! He started screaming so loud at his friend we could practically hear him all the way down the block!”
You were laughing so hard you nearly dropped the backpack cooler you had slung over one shoulder, its weight pitching you forward a little and almost causing you to fall, but Touya quickly threw one of his lanky arms around your waist to help right your stance, readjusting the backpack over your shoulder before you continued on.
“Anyway,” you told him, wearing one of those bright smiles that filled him with more love and warmth than any summer day, “thanks for coming here with me. I had a lot of fun!”
Touya smiled, soft and genuine, and replied, “Of course, baby. I had fun, too.”
Once you two reached the bungalow you were relieved to unload all the supplies you were carrying, letting out a sigh of exhaustion now that you both felt significantly lighter.
“I call the shower first!” you declared, but Touya caught your wrist before you could take even another step closer to the bathroom. Confused, you looked up at him and started to say, “What’s wrong?” but only got about half of the first word out before his mouth found yours and his tongue was coaxing your lips apart for him to get a better taste of you, the dam that had been holding back all his desire for you today reaching its breaking point.
Melting into his kiss, you felt Touya’s grasp on your wrist loosen, though only long enough for him to tug you in closer by your hips.
Once he broke away, leaving you breathless, the glowing sapphire in his gaze had been reduced to thin rings encircling his dilated pupils, so much wanting flowing through them like a flood. Then he murmured, low and sultry, “What? You mean you don’t want me to join you?”
You felt that familiar jolt of warmth roll over inside of you, causing your next shallow breath to catch before you swallowed hard and agreed, “Ok… Yeah… Together then…”
Touya led you by the hand into the bathroom, testing the temperature of the water until it felt just right, then stepped into the shower so he could help you in after him. He let the water run over you both, drenching you from head to toe, chasing away the sand and the salt, before pressing your back against the cold tile running up the wall, causing you to gasp and flinch as he leaned in for another kiss, this one a little rougher than the last.
His hands began their careful, meticulous charting of your body, playing with the thin strings of your bikini bottoms before tugging the bows loose and letting the soggy spandex fall to the floor, kicking it towards the back of the shower as his fingers began their slow journey down the planes of your figure, gliding over the curve of your tummy, traveling lower, and beginning to tease at your slick folds, sliding two fingers between the petals of you and pulling a breathy moan from your lungs as the rough pads of them ghosted over your sensitive, needy little bundle of nerves.
Your hips tried to rock and buck into his hand, chasing the promise of pleasure you knew those fingers could give you with only a little more pressure, but Touya pulled away just enough to tease you as he gave a sinisterly playful little taunt of, “Ah-ah-ah. Patience, baby. Promise I’ll make it worth the wait.”
“Promise?” you pressed, the word coming out as a pathetic little whine.
“Of course…” he assured you, once again continuing his slow and steady ministrations, his lips now leaving a trail of kisses down your neck and shoulder. As he slipped one long, slender finger into your fluttering little hole, he murmured in your ear, “Don’t I always?”
Your answer to that question came out as a high, clipped moan, your silky walls attempting to pull his finger in even deeper, craving something bigger and longer to fill you up. One finger became two, Touya skillfully massaging your insides and curling against that spot deep inside of you that had your stomach clenching and your legs starting to shake, making you fear you’d soon be in need of assistance when it came to supporting your own weight.
“Touya—!” you gasped, clutching his shoulders. With just his fingers alone he could torture you in the most delicious, addicting ways. It was so easy to forget these were once the hands of a criminal, the hands of an arsonist, the hands of a killer. The way you bent and arched under his touch, the beautiful sounds he pulled from your pretty little mouth, every time he touched you like this it felt like Touya was proving to himself over and over again that he’d changed. That he’d been able to leave the past behind.
Because how long had it been now since he’d tasted bitter ash and the metallic tang of someone else’s blood on his tongue, smelled death wafting through the air as his silhouette was framed against the roaring flames he’d conjured with the strike of a match and the absence of remorse?
Long enough that it almost felt like a different lifetime.
Long enough that he didn’t miss that side of himself anymore.
Because why did he need to rely on Dabi to bring him some sense of sick satisfaction when he had you, his sweet, perfect little angel who’d pulled him from so much fear and hurt and darkness?
“Please, Touya—” you continued to beg as he watched you with that half-lidded gaze. Enraptured. Entranced. In complete control.  “I need—” You bit your lip as you felt his hard length pressing up against your hip through the thin material of his swim trunks, Touya rutting up against you as some threads of that control frayed and began to unravel.
“Yeah?” he baited, voice low and even as his fingers continued their overstimulation of your slick sex. “You need what?” His breathing was starting to come out in uneven puffs, exhales stuttering as he grinded his clothed cock harder against you, a dull imitation of pleasure that could never even come close to what your cunt would grant him.
He loved to do this to you. Make you say it. Loved to hear the way your voice broke with humiliation and desperation as you told him just how badly you needed his cock inside of you like those were the only words you knew, the only words that mattered to you.
And it would only be after you spoke those words that he’d give you what he already knew you so desperately wanted.
You knew the rules of the game just as well as he did. Sometimes you’d try and cheat. You’d try and find some loophole or blindspot even though Touya almost always ended up three steps ahead of you. Today though…
Today you were only interested in doing whatever it took for you to win.
“I need your cock, Touya— I need—” But he was already acting before you’d even finished telling him exactly what he wanted to hear, grabbing the back of your thigh, hitching your leg up over his hip, you trying your best to hook your knee around him to gain any sense of purchase, but you needn’t have worried. Just like carrying your things back from the beach, Touya would lend you the extra strength that you lacked if you started to struggle.
Pulling down his swim trunks and tossing them towards the back of the shower to join your bathing suit bottoms, Touya slid his velvety cock between your silky folds, biting his bottom lip as he groaned out a clipped, “Oh, god, baby— Feels so good—” your sweet moans harmonizing with the rough edges of his voice.
You could already feel your legs shaking, your grip on him slipping a little as the warm water continued to wash over your bodies. Hitching your leg up a little higher, Touya lined himself up with your tight little entrance, nudging the tip in and feeling himself flood with that familiar euphoria that only you could give him. Your little nails were digging into his back, fighting the urge to writhe as he slid further in, inch by inch, his free hand lending support against your lower back as he helped keep you upright, able to move and position you in any which way he pleased.
Once he was fully inside he took a moment to let you adjust to the sweet sting of the stretch, his lips pressing tender kisses to your neck and the underside of your jaw, his body caging yours, radiating heat, a stark contrast against the cool tiles your back was pressed against. Right before he prepared to start moving, he reached the hand at your back upwards and tugged at the strings of your top, leaving you both vulnerable and bare to each other, all the different pieces tangled together in a pile of blue now.
His hips began to roll, slow and controlled, his grip on your thigh and back becoming harsher the quicker his pace grew, likely leaving bruises there in the shape of his fingertips, periwinkles and lilacs and navies, so many shades of blue, as if trying to brand the color into the very fiber of your being.
“Touya—” you gasped, feeling yourself getting close, fearing you’d soon lose the rest of your dwindling ability to stand. “‘M gonna—!”
But then you were coming undone, holding onto him for dear life, the anchor that made sure you wouldn’t drift too far out to sea, Touya’s hold on you a sure, steady thing as he gave the next few thrusts he needed to meet you at your peak, biting back his own whines and moans until he just couldn’t contain them any longer, throwing his head back as he filled you with more of his sticky, molten warmth.
Slowly, carefully, after he pulled out of you, he helped lower you down to the shower floor along with him, keeping you as close as he could, letting you lean back to rest against his chest as you both caught your breath, his fingers tracing light, abstract patterns on your hip as you felt the rhythm of his heart against your back, your head resting in the crook of his neck, feeling like you could close your eyes and just float away.
But once Touya was able to regain some of his senses he knew he still had to make sure you both got clean, so he helped you back to your feet once you felt like you could stand and washed your hair for you. He lightly scrubbed all the salt and sand from your body, his hands never more gentle than when his intention was to care for you, his most precious girl in the entire world. Your little hands helped work shampoo into his own inky locks as he bowed his head to you, the usually gravity defying spikes now sticking flat against his forehead and the back of his neck, a silent reminder that only you got to see him like this.
Once the two of you were clean and wrapped up in fluffy towels, Touya insisting on drying you off once you stepped out of the steamy room, helping you change into your comfy clothes, which consisted of your favorite cotton sleep shorts and one of his big t-shirts that was branded with a metal band he liked, the soft fabric smelling of him, the two of you headed back out into the kitchen to begin prepping dinner.
You’d been teaching Touya more recipes lately and it was fun to cook together. It was becoming a part of your normal daily routines. While you waited, you sat out on the back deck together, the mouth watering aromas drifting out through the crack you’d left open in the sliding glass doors, and you watched as the sun set on yet another day you’d been lucky enough to spend together.
“Oh, I almost forgot…” Touya suddenly said, reaching into the pocket of his pullover hoodie and holding something in the palm of his closed fist. You leaned closer to him, curious, and he opened his hand to show you what he had. “When I saw this on the beach earlier it made me think of you, so I grabbed it.”
Touya placed a piece of sea-glass, turquoise and vaguely heart-shaped, into your little palm, your fingers loosely closing around its water-smoothed edges.
“Thank you, Touya,” you cooed, leaning over to press another gentle peck to his cheek. “I love it.” But no matter how many little treasures or trinkets Touya could collect, the fact that you got to share moments like this was the thing you cherished most of all.

(Hello and thank you so much for reading! The three year anniversary of the original series in which this fic is set is today and just last week was three years since I began writing and sharing my fanfics, so I want to take this time to give everyone who’s read and supported my work a huge thank you!! Your nice comments really mean a lot to me and if you regularly like things on tumblr or leave comments on ao3 know I notice you in my notifications and it makes me very happy when I see your usernames <3
Anyway, this was just a short lil something but I have a couple more little date fic ideas for this AU that will be coming in the future. I’m actually going to be getting really busy this year with a lot of new life changes, so while the frequency at which I post fics might be a little bit less for a while, please be patient with me while I catch my bearings lol.
I love writing in the fanfic community. I love reading in the fanfic community. I love all the fic writers and fic readers and being a part of all of this has brought me joys that I can’t even begin to accurately articulate. So, again, I just wanted to give another big thank you for all the support over these last three years. Here’s to many more! <3)

Ambush Simulation: Burnin'
Burnin': *clocks out* 'Kay, I'm headed out. I'm going drinking with the boss's kids and their weird vigilante friends at that bar owned by All Might's nephew.
Kido: ...there is so much going on in that sentence that I don't know how to tackle it.
...
...yeah, Burnin' and some of the other sidekicks might be another reason why the Vanguard gets away with so much.
Burnin': *runs down alley in pursuit of villain, ends up cornering the guy because Dabi happened to be coming from the other direction* "You patchwork dumbass, get the hell out of here before your dad sees you!"
Dabi: *makes offended hand gestures and dips*
...
Not really a topic I'm going to explore too much in The Summer Camp Ambush Simulation, but it is one that I may go into with other fics in the same au:
How much did Endeavor's sidekicks know/suspect what was going on with their boss's home life?
We don't really see their reaction to it in canon, which I think should have been shown. Because as it stands, it gives the impression they watched Dabi's broadcast, then saw Endeavor's public confession about what he did, and they seemed to collectively say, "Our boss was abusing his wife and kids for years. Oh well." And then they go and defend him as a good hero during Final War, which was objectively true, but I don't think saying that in front of two of his victims was a good look for any of them. It probably would have been better if we got a scene that showed they were taking Natsuo's stance of, "We're with Endeavor until this is all over, then we're out."
...
I imagine in canon that Endeavor keeps his private life strictly hidden from his professional one, but the Ambush Simulation au makes it a little more complicated with how Touya behaves. He's a vigilante, which has a lot of the sidekicks and other Pros questioning why he didn't just train to be a hero. Why is he so antagonistic with all the opportunities that were available to him? If he isn't coping with what happened to him, then does that mean he isn't receiving proper care and/or support?
All boiling down into the sentiment, "The boss's oldest kid is a shit. But we have questions."
...
Burnin' for sure knows at least a good chunk of the story.
A few years before the events of The Summer Camp Ambush Simulation, she did confront Touya about his 'spoiled, rich brat' behavior and got quite a bit more info from a very pissed off fire-user than she bargained for. And like everyone else adhering to Rei, Touya, Fuyumi, Natsuo, and Shouto's collective wishes to not have their private lives exposed in a public scandal (where their story will be scrutinized by the media, where they may be called liars and harassed by Endeavor's more die-hard fans, where the Commission may denounce them in order to cover for one of their top-performing Pros, where their lives will be completely upended with a myriad of foreseen and unforeseen consequences,) Burnin' reluctantly stays quiet about it.
"This is how I get ahead in life. I work with the No. 2 Hero and then I go drink and commiserate with his kids."

Confession // Touya x Reader
Warnings: Not proof read
Word Count: 1,442
The low hum of instrumental music filled the kitchen as Rei, Fuyumi, and you worked in the kitchen preparing food for the weekly Todoroki family dinner night. You had been attending them since you were ten. Even though you did not bear their last name, you were Fuyumi’s oldest and dearest friend. When the two of you were children you had spent every moment outside of school in their home. Rei looked at you as if you were her own child. Loved you just as much as she loved her own daughter. It only felt right to include you in their family tradition even as you went into adulthood. So here you were helping chop produce as you and Fuyumi caught her mother up on all the drama that went on at the elementary school the two of you worked at.
“Tell her about the hot single dad that keeps begging to take you out,” Fuyumi snickered as she chopped a carrot. You responded with a roll of your eyes before turning back to the sink to wash what she needed to cut.
“I think it might be good for you. You deserve to have some fun,” Rei encouraged with her soft smile. You were about to reply until you heard a voice cut in from the doorway.
“She has enough fun here.”
Todoroki Touya. The boy you had been in love with since the day you stepped foot in the Todoroki mansion as a child. He wasn’t the same bad mouthed, white haired little boy anymore. Now he towered over you, covered in tattoos and piercing with black hair that made his turquoise eyes burn even brighter. The childhood crush carried well on into your teenage years and even now there was no doubt in your brain that you viewed the eldest Todoroki child as the most attractive man you have ever laid your eyes on.
“Oh quit being jealous Touya,” Fuyumi scoffed, waving the sharp knife as she scolded her brother.
“Not jealous. She gets a boyfriend, she isn’t gonna be coming around much anymore,” he replied with a shrug before walking over to kiss his mother on the temple as a greeting.
“Not true. I have spent the last twelve years here. If you think that I would give up tradition for some DILF then you’re an idiot,” you argued. You watched his eyebrow twitch as you used the vulgar term to describe the dad that wanted to take you out. He was quick to turn away from you and his sister before Fuyumi could poke fun at him. He simply muttered something and walked out of the room letting you and the other two women get back to preparing dinner.
—-------
Touya had a scowl on his face as he sat across from you. His sudden sour attitude confused you, but you refused to let it bother you. Instead you listened to Shouto tell you about his friends at school and Natsuo talk about all the girls he has been chasing at his university. You nearly choked on your wine as he started talking about his sex life.
“Oh come on, Y/N! I know you’re not a virgin,” he argued with a chuckle. Before you could have replied, everyone jumped at the sound of Touya’s wine glass shattering in his hands. All eyes turned to him as he stared at the red liquid spreading across the table.
“Touya, are you okay?” Rei’s gentle voice cut through the tension. He slowly raised his eyes to his mother’s before letting his head nod.
“Sorry. Glass must have a crack,” he defended before picking up a napkin to soak up the mess. Once he cleaned it up, he stood to his feet muttering an excuse to go back to his room.
“You should go check on him,” Fuyumi whispered from beside you, nudging her elbow into your side gently. You looked at her with confusion splayed across your face. “Shouto and Natsuo are gonna clean up the table while mom and I wash dishes. That leaves you on Touya duty. Plus he’ll just be mean to everyone, but you and mom,” she explained, trying to convince you to rise to your feet to deal with Touya.
Reluctantly you got up and let your legs lead you up the stairs to Touya’s room. You knocked on the door, hoping that it was hard enough for him to hear over the music he had playing in his room. There was no answer. Slowly you turned the knob, pushing the door open before calling out his name gently. His bed was unmade, but he wasn’t there. Your eyes scanned the room, looking around for any sign of where he went. Once they landed on the closed bathroom door you could see steam billowing out from the gap between it and the floor. You should have known he was in the shower after being coated in wine.
For a moment you debate on knocking on the bathroom door. Your feet move slowly to the closed door. You jump when you see it swing open to expose Touya, standing there in nothing, but a towel hung lowly on his hips. Your eyes drift to his torso, scanning the tattoos that litter it, stopping on one.
“Is that my name?” you blurt out, staring at the red ink that radiated off of his pale skin. His hand was quick to cover it.
“I have no clue what you’re talking about,” he scoffs, looking at you like you’re crazy. Your hands are quick to reach for his own to pry it off of his ribs. He keeps it clamped down not wanting you to get another glimpse of the permanent marking on his skin.
“If you didn’t know what I was talking about you wouldn’t be putting up this much of a fight,” you grumble as the two of you continue to play tug of war with his body. A gasp left your lips as you felt your feet coming from underneath you as you and Touya fell onto the white tile. Touya let out a groan from under you as you went to quickly get up noticing you had fallen on his naked body. Instead you had strong arms pulling you back down. A smirk was on his face as your eyes moved to his.
“Do you wanna see it?” he asked in a low voice. You nodded slowly as you pushed your hands up so you could straddle him and moved your hand to where he covered the tattoo with his. You gently moved his hand away so you could get a look at his skin.
It was your name in red ink with a small heart beside it. Your fingers traced it tenderly as if too much pressure would make the marks fade.
“Why?” you asked with a voice barely above a whisper.
“Because I love you.” His tone was so casual. It was as if he was telling you the upcoming weather for the next few days. A small smile spread across your face before you looked back to him.
“Tou-”
“I have loved you since you were the snot-nosed little girl with a ponytail that would smack me in the face when you turned around. I have loved you since you were a brace face cry baby. Hell, I even loved you when you told me my Gengar tattoo was the ugliest thing you had ever seen.” The last part of his rant made you snort as you thought back to 16 year old Touya running into Fuyumi’s room to show off the poorly done tattoo on his wrist.
“Is this why you were so pouty about the dad?” you interrogated with an amused tone.
“I wasn’t pouty. I was more annoyed at the thought of you actually giving the time of day to some dude that clearly couldn’t love you the way you deserve.”
“No, you were jealous.” Touya just scoffed, shaking his head making water droplets fling off of his hair. His hands rested on your plush hips as he thought of a come back to redeem himself for being caught. Before he could you leaned down and pressed your soft lips on his. You could feel a smile spread across his face as your lips met and his hands trailed up your back to rest on the nape of your neck. The two of you pulled away slowly and happiness showed in his eyes as you laced your fingers into his.
“I have loved you too, Touya,” you admitted before leaning back down to press kisses onto his damp skin.

Touya and you were inseparable; you did everything together, including getting yelled at by Endeavor. You two were best friends, and if being attached at the hip didn't make that obvious enough, the best friend bracelets you made would. You vividly remember the day you gave it to him; how could you not, considering it was one of the last times you ever saw him?
You walked quickly toward the almost completely white-haired boy, nervously fiddling with the bracelets in your hand. You were afraid he would hate them, which was silly considering how much Touya adored you.
“Hey!” he said happily as he rocked back and forth on his feet.
You gave him a nervous smile and a small wave before saying quietly, "Hi." You frowned once you were close enough to see the new bandages that had wrapped themselves around his wrists, and if you looked closely enough, you could see them under his shirt. “I thought you were going to stop training?”
He rubs the back of his neck sheepishly. “I know, but I really made a break through!” He speaks triumphantly: “At this rate, Shoto’s got some serious competition! I don't think it's enough against All Might yet though..."
“touya-“
“Just trust me! I just wanna show dad what I can do, okay? I want to prove to him that I'm not a mistake," he says at the end, trailing off.
You nod and smile at him. “When are you showing him?”
"At Sekoto Hill during the holiday break!" He speaks cheerfully and looks you up and down before noticing that you are holding something. “Hey, what's that?”
You go wide-eyed, having totally forgotten about the bracelets you made in the first place. You stumble over your words as you hide your hands behind your back. "Oh, um, it's nothing..”
He smiles and tilts himself forward and to the side as if he's trying to look behind your back. “show me!”
You sigh as you push him back to his original stance. “fine but dont laugh! okay?”
Touya nods happily. “I won't, I promise.”
You reluctantly bring your hands back out from behind your back and expose your palm to him to reveal the bracelets.
He looks down at your hand and narrows his eyes curiously, then looks up at you, tilting his head as he questions, “Bracelets?”
You nod as you close your fist and hide your hands behind your back again. “Yeah, I, um, actually made them for us. They’re best friend bracelets..” You laugh nervously as you peer up at him through your lashes.
He stifles a laugh. “Then why aren't you giving it to me?”
You look at him in bewilderment. “Wait, you actually want it?”
He looks at you in astonishment. “duh?” He takes your hand from behind your back and softens his gaze on you. “You’re my best friend, y/n.”
You feel your face grow hot as you try to hide the smile that's so desperately trying to reveal itself.
“Now give me the bracelet,” he deadpans.
Both of you had never taken the bracelet off since that day. The holiday break ended up quickly approaching, and on the day Touya was going to show Endeavor what he could do, he could see how nervous you were for it.
He slowly intertwined his hand with yours, and when you turned to look over at him in confusion, you were met with him smiling softly at you. “I’ll be okay.”
you frown. “I know you’re strong, Touya; you know you’re strong... so why do you have to prove it to that prick?”
His smile doesn't falter completely, but it isn't as strong as it was a moment ago. “You know why.”
"Yeah, I know, I just don't like seeing you get hurt," you sigh.
He squeezes your hand in an attempt to be reassuring. “I know, but hey, listen! If it makes you feel any better, you can come watch too!"
“Really?” you ask, taken aback.
He nods happily. “yeah! You're like good luck, along with our bracelet!"
you frown. “Wait, you’re not gonna be wearing the bracelet I made you, right?”
He looks at you in confusion. “Of course I am—I just told you it’s good luck.”
You look at him flatly as you speak sternly, “Touya, it's not fireproof!”
He shrugs your statement off. “It’ll be fine!” He adds on quickly, almost nervously, “So you’ll come tonight, right?”
You smile at him and squeeze his hand. “Yeah, I’ll try, Touya. You know how my parents are though.”
He hums sadly. “Oh yeah, huh… Well, that's okay if you can't! at least I'll have your bracelet.”
You spent most of the day with Touya, only leaving when it was time for dinner; though the word "leaving" is used loosely, it was more like your parents having to practically pull you away by force in order to get you to go home. Once home, you ate dinner then barricaded yourself in your room. You knew your parents would never willingly let you go up to Sekoto Hill, so you'd have to wait until they were asleep to go. Luckily, they usually fall asleep early. Now all that was left to do was distract yourself until then. You went back and forth between reading a book, cleaning your room, and playing with the matching bracelet you had with Touya on your wrist, you did anything. After awhile, you just settled on the book, but sometime during it, you ended up drifting off.
You were jolted awake and immediately scrambled to figure out what time it was.
“Shit, I'm late!” You muttered under your breath as you sneaked out of your window and toward the forest, where you hoped Touya was still there. You'd never forgive yourself if you missed this, even if he had said it was okay. You ran as fast as your wobbly legs could carry you, panting as you decided to take a shortcut, and when you got to the end of the road, you saw a group of people staring out into Sekoto Hill, and that's when you smelled it. The smell of burning wood, smoke, and ash filled your nose immediately, making it hard to breathe as you pushed through the crowd and made your way to the front, where you found Endeavor staring ahead with what you thought were tears in his eyes, something you didn't know he was capable of.
To be honest, you don't know what you're looking at—you know it's a burned-down forest, a burned-down Sekoto Hill, but other than that, you're perplexed.
You cough a bit from the smoke as you stare up at Endeavor. “Where's—where’s Touya?” you ask.
Endeavor doesn't bother saying anything; he just shakes his head.
You swallow harshly as a feeling of dread starts to settle itself deep within your stomach. “what? What does that mean—where is he?” You stumble over your words as you grab at Endeavor’s arm, trying to get him to look at you, to acknowledge you more than a simple head shake.
"He's dead," Endeavor says flatly, shaking your hand off his arm.
“What?“ You look toward Endeavor, then at the forest, and then back at Endeavor and then back at the forest. You laugh nervously, obviously not believing him. “you’re lying…” Tears start to well in your eyes as you turn back at Endeavor and see his bottom lip trembling. “Tell me you're lying!” you sob out.
When Endeavor doesn't answer and instead swallows harshly, you lose it. Your legs are running faster than you can keep up, and you're sobbing as you run into the forest.
“y/n stop!” Endeavor's voice echoes in your ears, but you don't stop. You start running faster and deeper into the almost completely disintegrated forest.
You know you'll only find burnt pieces of trees and black ash covering everything, but that doesn't stop you from going; you need to see it for yourself; you need to see Touya. Even with your vision blurred from sobbing, you can't see any evidence that he was here—or rather, that he died here. There's no burned body, no bones, and no human ash (which you're not even sure you'd be able to tell apart from tree ash and Touya's ashes, but nonetheless). You fall to your knees and make a vow to yourself: You'd become a hero, but not to surpass Endeavor or All Might; you'd become a hero to bring Touya back home because every part of you refuses to believe he's dead, and you'll continue to refuse to believe it until you see his remains right in front of you; until then, you'd train hard, harder than Touya; you'd train until you nearly died from exhaustion if that’s what it takes to bring Touya home, dead or alive.
And a hero you became—a top-five hero, actually. though you didn’t care about your ranking at all because you never lost sight of the real reason you became a hero in the first place. How could you when the bracelet on your wrist was a permanent reminder of what you were doing this for? of who you’re doing this for. And for the most part, your hero career has been easy—well, as easy as being a hero can be. The League of Villains wasn’t a huge threat, at least not until now.
You were out on your nightly patrol around the city when you came across a few villains fighting against some of your hero colleagues. You immediately jumped into action, aiming for any villain you could. It wasn't too bad at first because there were only a few of them. The fight was between four heroes and four villains; it wasn't too bad until more villains appeared, and now there are too many for the four of you. Now it seemed like each of you was fighting two villains at once, which wouldn’t have been too bad if they had been unknown, low-ranked villains, but they were part of the league, and the league doesn't mess around.
For the time being, you were holding your ground; of course, you were getting knocked around, but you were doing well—or the adrenaline coursing through every part of your body was telling you that you were doing well, which is why you hadn't realized you were bleeding—profusely. You thought your blurry vision was simply from being hit in the head a few times and not because you were actively bleeding out. Though suddenly, through your blurry vision and dodging and swinging and whatever you do during a fight, you can make out faint blue flames in the distance, and you feel your heart stop—a brief thought of Touya crosses your mind as you look down at the bracelet on your wrist, which was a fatal mistake because that gave the villains fighting you more than enough time to knock you out, and knock you out they did.
You woke up abruptly; you would have jolted up had it not been for the pain covering every inch of your body. You breathed in deeply, trying to take in your surroundings. You were lying in the middle of the cold street, right where you passed out. You turned your head to the side, and the whole area was in ruins—fire here and there, broken buildings, broken cars—it was a mess. Your chest felt heavy, and no matter how hard you tried to breathe in, it didn't feel like the air was getting into your lungs. You coughed up the air that wouldn't get to your lungs, and with it came blood, which splattered onto your hand before dribbling down your face onto the ground beneath you, which you could only imagine is soaked in your blood at this rate. This isn't looking good for you at all. Though you are quickly taken out of your thoughts by heavy footsteps approaching you, you turn your head up only to see someone hovering over you.
Dabi laughs sadistically. “Wow, they got you good, huh?”
You don't say anything; you don't think you even could If you wanted to, blood would probably just pour out of your mouth, so you opted to glare at him, swallowing your metallic spit harshly. It was obvious you were scared; how could you not be? You're on the verge of death, and a top villain is hovering over you.
Dabi bends down and grips your jaw with his hand; the hold he has on you has your head lifting off of the ground. "You know, seeing a hero flat on their back —helpless— really does something to me," he smirks.
You were going to reply, telling him to fuck off, when the moon hit his wrist just right and you could see something glisten. You almost go cross-eyed as you focus your attention on his bracelet—your bracelet?
Your gaze shoots back up at him as you speak harshly and accusatorily, "Why do you have my bracelet?”
He scoffs and shakes his head, looking down at his bracelet before looking back at you. “your bracelet?”
Both of you stare at each other for an uncomfortable amount of time before both of you go wide-eyed at the realization.
“t-touya?” Blood spills out of your mouth as you stumble over his name. You don't know how you didn’t see it before; he still looks like himself, just broken. He was still himself, just broken.
He swallows the lump in his throat as he sets your head back down on the ground gently. He knows you saying his real name should be confirmation enough, but it's not; he needs to see the bracelet, which is why he's grabbing at your limp arms looking for it, muttering "no" over and over again under his breath, and he finds it immediately, and he breathes out shakily, mumbling out a heavy “fuck” in defeat.
Despite the circumstances, you find yourself smiling at him, and he feels his heart break as he sees the blood stuck in your teeth and the blood that's dribbling down your face. He sits down on the floor—or rather, falls down, the weight of this realization being far too great for his legs to bear—and pulls you into his lap.
“What the hell are you doing?” he asks in disbelief, looking down at you in sorrow.
“I've been looking for you, Touya,” you wheeze out, and it makes him wince.
"Fuck. Fuck," Dabi—Touya says in pain as he closes his eyes and tilts his head back, facing the sky. He looks back at you and frowns. “Why would you come here? Why would you want to be a hero? Fuck y/n-"
You weakly bring up one of your hands to cradle his cheek, and if Touya’s tear ducts were still intact, he’d be sobbing so hard and so much that he could fill all the swimming pools ever to exist. But although he can't cry, the blood coming from the staples around his eyes certainly makes it look like he can.
“I told you why,” you whisper breathlessly, as if it were getting harder for you to breathe, to live.
Touya cradles your face in his hands and sniffles. "We're going to get you help. I know someone who can help you. You're going to be okay, ok?" He ends his sentence by moving his hands to cradle your body, standing up with you in his arms, bridal style.
You groan at the movement and pull your hand away from his face. “touya-“
He shakes his head and starts walking. “No, no, don't say anything. you’ll be okay.”
You look up at him through heavy eyelids and blurry vision; your breathing is labored, and you know that nothing Touya does and no one he brings you to will help; this is it; this is the end. You use the rest of your strength to smile at him. “I'm really happy I got to see you one last time, Touya.”
Touya stops in his tracks and looks down at you; your eyes are closed at this point, and he can't tell if you're still breathing. "No, no-y/n, cmon, don't do this to me.” He shakes you in his arms a bit, but you do nothing; you're limp, and he falls to his knees. “Y/n please- Please wake up. I can't—I can't do this without you.”
He can't; it's true. The only reason Touya survived this long without you was because he knew you were alive. He'd look up your name every night, praying to god that it didn't say deceased, and it never did—until tonight. Tonight he doesn't need to look up your name to know if you're dead or not because you are, specifically, in his arms. He’s just sitting here on his knees, holding you close to his chest, rocking back and forth, repeatedly mumbling "please" under his breath, and he doesn't even know why he's saying please. Please come back? Please take me with you? Touya is too immersed in you to notice the heroes starting to surround him, and to them he looks like a spoiled brat clinging to his favorite toy for dear life in an attempt to not get it taken away.
“Put the person down and surrender!” one of the heroes calls out.
Touya ignores him, and now all the heroes are yelling at him, asking him whether he wants to do this the hard way or the easy way, and he doesn’t care. There's nothing to care about anymore because you're dead, and he wants to be dead too.
Because you're dead and he knows that without you he can not live.

Okay, new idea. We’ve all seen hero!Hawks and villain!Dabi and vice versa. But imagine them both as vigilantes. Hawks is very much a “I’m faster and more efficient than the heroes” type, whereas Dabi is a “I’m more ruthless against assholes than the heroes are” vigilante.
They both think heroes are overrated, though, and they end up bonding via an accidental assist and street takoyaki. Cue a vigilante team-up that has the villains running scared and the heroes sweating bullets. Really though, it’s just two powerful 20yos cleaning up the city while not-so-subtly showing off to each other 😂
Hello yes, I’m still here for friends to teammates to power couple dynamics 😂
Continued in a separate thread, same day
Some toukei / dabihawks vigilante au thoughts Keigo’s first act of vigilanteism is the same that would have made him a hero in another world.
He saves six people from a four-car pile up, but since no cameras catch it this time, he passes under the radar. Slipping through the cracks, like his feathers slip through locks when starvation becomes imminent.
He’s not proud of it. Stealing to stay alive. And he vows, as soon as he can stand on his own, he’ll pay society back in spades.
Five years later, he makes good on his promise by toppling a terrifying drug ring.
People from all over the city find money repaid that they hadn’t thought about in years, accompanied by a single red feather. Meanwhile, the authorities scratch their heads, wondering where all the drug money went.
Touya’s first vigilante act is somewhat closer to home, and occurs when he meets a man who calls himself Stain. Of all things, they get into an argument. Touya is 12, and still wants his father’s approval more than anything. Stain points out Endeavor’s motives for heroism are rotten at their core. Touya challenges him, quoting stats for Endeavor’s villain capture rate. Stain bites back with Endeavor’s civilian injury rates. It isn’t until Stain offers to show Touya the other side of heroism that the preteen reluctantly agrees, thinking he’ll prove the creepy sword-freak wrong.
Instead, he’s treated to the aftermath of one of Endeavor’s more violent fights. One that leaves buildings aflame and firefighters struggling to assist.
Touya watches his old man throw barrage after barrage, and listens as Stain points out how so much of the damage could have been avoided. Shifted angles, less power, planning ahead to herd the villain into a less populated area. Touya listens, and for the first time, he sees his dad for what he truly is: a flawed human. Not the pillar of righteousness he presented to the world.
It rattles him deeply. But not as much as when he hears a scream from one of the burning buildings.
His feet move before he can think, and that day he performs his first rescue.
Years later, when Keigo has fought his way up to a sustainable lifestyle that no longer relies on crime, he dedicates himself to helping where he can. Even in small ways. Like when he finds a white-haired fire user getting doused in a back alley, for instance.
“Rain wasn’t on the forecast today!” He calls, yanking the water dude off the ground to hold him at eye level. Fifty feet in the air.
Keigo recognizes him as a member of a local gang.
“Oh hey!” He says as the guy thrashes in panic. “How bout you stop trying to drown people and I don’t let my feathers slip up here? That sound okay?”
The guy nods frantically, and Keigo beams before sending his feathers to drop the guy off on the most inconvenient roof they can find. Following that, he drops to the ground, where the fire user is still spitting up water.
“Need a hand?” Keigo asks, offering one to the man while taking in his soaked appearance, his white hair, and his bright blue eyes, scrunched up with annoyance.
“Didn’t need any help,” he grumbles, though he still takes Keigo’s hand and allows himself to be pulled up.
Keigo grins. “In the elemental game of rock, paper, scissors, I’m pretty sure water beats fire.”
The guy snorts. “And fire beats air,” he returns, eyeing Keigo’s wings. The blond lifts a bushy eyebrow.
“Not wrong about that. I hate fire quirks, no offense.”
The guy shakes his head, splattering water everywhere. “None taken. Feel the same about guys like that,” he says, nodding in the direction the thug had been whisked away.
Keigo hums. “Why pick a fight, then? You two know each other?”
The guy eyes him. “I don’t associate with scum like that.”
My kind of guy, Keigo thinks, grin widening.
“Ya know, I’d drink to that. Right now, if you’re free?”
The guy’s eyebrows raise. “You don’t even know my name.”
Keigo shrugs. “So, what’s your name?”
“... Touya,” the guy - Touya - says.
Keigo sticks out a hand once more, and Touya takes it with a mix of interest and reluctance.
“Keigo,” the vigilante offers. “Now how bout that drink?”

Enough Rope
Royal Gay AU - An alternate universe created by @i-cant-sing surrounding Yandere BNHA Characters making up different kingdoms, where in which the Reader's is the daughter of Dabi and Hawks. Though reluctantly; as the relationship is strained by the murder of her mother.
Pairing(s): Sultan! Dabi / Todoroki Touya X Courtesan! Hawks / Takami Keigo || Implied! Barbarian Prince! Bakugo Katsuki X She/Her! Sultana! Reader, Implied! Past! Akaguro Chizome / Stain X Reader's Mother
Summary: It was inevitable that you'd take the throne, you were groomed you're whole life for it. But never did Dabi think you'd have to take it so young. Nor in the matter you took it.
A/N: I wanted to get some vindication, Dabi and Hawks absolutely boil my blood in this AU so I kinda get to be a little vicious. The reader looks like her mum but has Dabi’s eyes, also uses SHE/HER and is referred to as Sultana.
(My addition of Stain + his relationship with her mother are non-canonical to the actual series.)
Tumblr media
Warning(s): Character Death/Murder. Blood. Obsessive/Possessive Behavior. Reader is staging a coup. Angst. Cursing. Crying. Parental Death.
... You looked so much like your mother.
The royal colors looked beautiful on you, dripping in golds and silks. Ornate and elaborate, the veil settled on top of your head accentuated the set of white pearls that crowned it. Today of all days, anyone that gazed upon the newly coronated sultana and was absolutely mesmerized by the beauty that was even rule.
You even threw out the traditional blues and were wrapped in a beautifully dyed peachy pink.
Your late mother's favorite color.
In your throne, sat upon the cushion, alongside a blond prince about your age.
While his fingers entwined with one, you lifted the other delicate hand - fingers adorned with your grandmother's rings - to silence the room.
Dabi knew this day would eventually come, that he'd see you become Sultana with conviction and ambition running through your veins. A time he'd hope to be alive to see, with Keigo beside him.
He was still amazed to see it, despite his disdain for the colors you chose and holding that dragon brat's hand just to spite him.
... But as he was in chains, there was little to be done.
His daughter, so frail and weak, usurped the throne from him in one fell swoop.
Her soft little hands dug into his chest to rip out his heart, covering the innocent skin in the blood of his stabbed back. Her soft little self reaching out to the cruelly harmed citizens of their home to call them to her side.
As he looked up at his daughter, who looked almost 10 years older. Her eyes glaring icy daggers through him like he was nothing was perhaps the worst thing of all.
Keigo is bruised from the chains, wings nonexistent, as Enji took care in scorching them down to nothing. He was a mess and struggling, hissing at the guard, who proceeded to slam the man into the floor.
"Show some respect to the new Sultana." Kai commanded, clearly enjoying seeing how the blond practically foamed at the mouth.
"She's my daughter," He hissed between his teeth, "Know your place."
Your gaze sharpened and your voice boomed, "Do not speak, whore, lest I have Akaguro tear your tongue between your teeth."
Dabi briefly mulled over the fact that you sounded so much like him, authoritarian, an intense need to just... Collapse, washing though him as he realized what monster he'd created. He can't speak, he just stared at you.
Keigo looked shocked and indignant at your insult and order, opening his mouth to chide you for language before fingers snapped out and gripped his tongue.
The mercenary was someone deeply close to your mother when they were young, her sense of charity and kindness reached his heart.
Someone that she probably would've married if not for the caste system. He was selfish and he loved her, but keeping her safe from his life of crime meant that he had to let her go... He would.
Akaguro adored you as easily as he did his beloved friend.
So hearing that you were torn apart by the death of your mother, meant he was the perfect sword to point at the opposition.
In pure combat ability, Dabi didn't stand a chance.
Chizome looked to you as your father did.
The latter can see the satisfaction in your eyes, a smile so gentle and relaxed that he wondered how long it had been since he's seen you like that. How long it had been since he’d seen this expression directed at him.
“Let go for now.” You sweetly said, eyes falling over your father.
Before, he took pride in your eyes.
They were blue, the bluest of blue, like his.
As they coldly took him in, as they hardened to ice and threatened to burn him down... He wondered where everything started to go wrong.
You leaned forward a bit.
Your burning gaze didn’t leave him.
Deepening, darkening.
“Do you love me daddy?” You asked softly, so softly that he almost didn’t hear you.
It was shocking, jarring, even more heartbreaking when your eyes instead fill with tears past all the anger.
A sadness that chilled him to the bone.
Breaking his aching heart further.
Especially as your voice trembled, watery.
Just...
Sent a spike of panic straight down to his gut.
Was this why you did it?
Because you believed he didn’t love you anymore?
“Of course.” He didn’t hesitate, didn’t breath as he watched your face.
“Then...” You frown, looking as if you were about to start crying. “Then would you kill for me?”
“Always.”
He meant it.
He’d done it before.
“T - then why do you keep hurting me? Why do you keep hurting my feelings?”
The sob that filled your questions just broke him.
Ripping into his ribcage so painfully that he felt himself feel faint.
“Why did you keep Keigo around knowing I hated him? Knowing that I couldn’t stand him?” You hiccupped, the blond beside you turning to wipe your face with his hands “Is... Is it because you love him more than me?”
“NO!!!” He nearly screamed.
His eyes were wide, manic.
Panic pounding his senses as he realized why you might have done what you did.
That the heartbreak drove you into taking control because you felt unloved.
That he drove you into it.
“Prove it...”
Your blue eyes remained set on him.
There’s cold steel suddenly in his hands, a dagger, long and ornate.
“Kill him.”
A terrified face filled his vision as he turned to his concubine, his former concubine, helpless. He opened his mouth, to beg or plead or speak, Dabi didn’t care. Even as his mind’s eye reminded him of the nights they spent together.
He didn’t love this bastard.
He now knew.
Knew that Keigo caused all of this.
His presence alone made you think that your father didn’t love you more than everything in the whole world. That drove the ugly thoughts of replacement into your lives.
Keigo took you from him too.
He brought the knife down.
Again and again and again and again.
The knife came down in a frenzy, wrenching horrible noises from Keigo’s throat.
Sobs for mercy, of apology.
“Da... bi....”
Dabi slowly returned to his mind’s eye, shaking.
Blood saturated him, from body to hair.
Staring down at the red soaked face of his former lover.
He felt nothing but contempt.
Nothing but hatred pouring through his veins.
A free feeling settled in his heart.
He looked at you, shakily smiling, “See?... I didn’t love him. I could never love him more than you.”
You stared.
Doe eyes wide and soft, still wet and dark.
The smile that graced your lips warmed his heart.
But also confused him.
Why did you look so sad all of a sudden?
“... Darling?”
You didn’t respond and looked behind him, nodding slowly.
“I’m sorry daddy, but there needs to be blood.” There’s almost a shame in you, heavy bags now seen as the light fell from the skylight.
Making you look like the gift from the gods you were.
He didn’t understand.
“And the people have suffered for long enough without retribution.”
Katsuki wrapped his arms around you, tucking you to his chest, kissing the crown of your head.
It made Dabi angry but he was confused more than anything.
“I do love you.” You said quietly. “But I can’t let you live.”
The pain lasted for a moment, just a moment.
He coughed, spitting up blood.
Akaguro’s hands were red, face almost solemn.
Dabi is still looking at you, in the face of his beloved daughter, still with crying eyes and sadness pouring from every pore. The vestiges of his vision begin darkening, body cold.
“I wished things could have been different.”
He did too.
The last thing he saw was the bluest of eyes.
Eyes bore instead by the face of his late wife.
... You really did just look like your mother.

Married life
Summary: Headcannons of Touya as a husband
Warnings: language, general crack behavior
a/n: all my stuff lately has been either really fluffy or sad as hell and I needed some humor so enjoy ✨✨✨
Tumblr media
Reformed villain he is, he’ll definitely be a little rough around the edges sometimes
Definitely spends holidays with you and your family, or reluctantly lets Fuyumi force him to come visit the todofam for the holidays
He’d be grumpy, but let’s be real a few gentle touches and he’s at your beck and call like a puppy dog
Like tousle this man’s hair and see the lengths he’ll go to reciprocate the affection
Bc he loves receiving touch as a love language.
As a hubby, he’d be realllly attentive
Aloof, but attentive
He’ll probably know when you’re sad before you do
And he’ll have already started making moves to cheer you up
Whether it’s through binging your favorite shows
Or bringing you to your favorite boba place down the street
Or maybe just starting up a warm bath for you before you come in
He’s practically a house husband.
But don’t tell him that he’ll pout
Taking care of him though is where it gets difficult
Taking him to appointments
checking up on him when he’s clearly upset or even just not feeling great
He will get so stubborn
Will absolutely shut down till you stop trying
Communication with Touya in every other aspect of your marriage is great.
Except when it comes to his own problems
Then he starts acting like a teenager
But anyways
You have to PHYSICALLY DRAG THIS MAN TO THE SHOWER.
HE HATES IT. FOR NO REASON.
But when you manage he’ll definitely be making some crude jokes like “you joinin me or 😏”
And when you don’t he pouts.
Ofc
Bc when isn’t he pouting tbh
buuuuut he’s a sweetheart through and through
and we love him for it 👌😭
banner creds to @ 1426 ewe (?? I it was scribbly so I’m not entirely sure if I read it right but if anyone knows for sure lmk in the comments 🙏)

[ video embedded. Cheren approaches the bed in his bedroom where a lump under the covers shivers. He sighs and sits besides it with a worried expression.
"Enough is enough, I've let you be for about three days now? Will you tell me what happened?" He asks in a very gentle tone, waiting for any reaction from the lump on the bed.
After a beat of silence, Cheren tries slipping his hand under the blanket.
"I've been worried all this time, you're eating less and even stopped going out. Won't you talk to me?" He says in the saddest tone he can muster.
That makes the lump shift a bit, and suddenly there is a hand over Cheren's. That makes him smile.
"Do you want a hug?"
Cheren offers, and there is a nod under the blankets... but nothing happens for a while.
Cheren tilts his head with a smile. "Can I take the blanket off?"
That takes about a minute or two longer to get any reaction, and even then it's just another short, shaky nod. Cheren smiles again and takes the edge of the blanket, slowly pulling it back. Touya is curled up on his side with tears rolling down his cheeks and looks up to him with a whine.
Cheren squeezes his hand and pulls him up, "Come here, I got you."
Touya ends up crashing onto him and holding Cheren as tight has he can. He's clearly shivering, though it's not clear if it is from the cold.
"It's alright. You're fine." He rubs at Touya's back and pets his head to try and comfort him while Touya was now openly sobbing on his boyfriends shoulder, practically leaning all of his weight onto Cheren.
It takes minutes, but eventually Touya calms down enough to talk. "S-Sorry..."
Cheren shakes his head "It's alright. Are you okay? I know you're scared but... Why so suddenly like this? Did something happen?"
Touya rubs his eyes and reluctantly lets go of Cheren to reach into the drawer if their nightstand, taking out an envelope that's been opened, and hands it over to him.
Cheren takes it and reads, letting Touya sit on his lap while he finishes and petting his back to keep him calm. Once he finishes, he lets out a heavy sigh.
"The Alolan Champion, huh. Have you met them before?" He asks
Touya shakes his head. "No... I barely talked to anyone while I was there before... b-before..."
"It's okay. I get it." Cheren cuts him before he gets anxious again. "I'm sorry, maybe this is my faulth. I have been putting off and rejecting letters from Aether all this time so... Either they reached the Champion in hopes of getting in contact, or they've been annoying enough that someone complained." He takes another look at the letter. "... I would personally lean towards the latter but..."
"But they want me there, in Alola." He shakes his head rapidly. "I don't want to! What if it's a trap? What if the letter is fake to lure me in! What if—"
"Okay, okay. Enough." Cheren interrupts him by putting his hand over Touya's mouth. "I've read it, there is a return adress too, they gave us their name and all, I'm sure I can just, send another for clarification." He says. "And even if you were to go, I wouldn't let you go alone."
Cheren takes Touya's hand again. "If you feel like it, I'll go with you. Maybe we can get the toxins situation sorted out, and if not, maybe they can give us other kinds of help." He offers, pulling him closer to press their foreheads together. "I'm here for you. I cannot guarantee that nothing will happen to you, but I'll protect you with all I have."
Touya bites his lip staying quiet for a while, then he looks up, eyes filling with tears. "... Promise?"
"I promise." Cheren pulls him closer and kisses his cheeks. "Let's go together, maybe you'll even make a new friend."
Touya chuckles and hugs him back, notably in a better mood.
The camera gets blocked by a mass of white fluff and an annoyed beep comes out from the phone. The video soon cuts. ]

=================================
y/n did what he did any sunday. lay in bed way longer than socially acceptable, damn you capitalism, and scrolling on his phone for what was probably hours.
probably some time around noon he slumped out of bed, stretching and groaning as his back popped satisfyingly.
he changed sleepily, shrugging off an oversized shirt in exchange for another one, ironically one of a hero. hey, he got it as a gift, and he’s broke as fuck and hasn’t done his laundry in like a week. y/n grabbed a pair of boxer briefs, taking off his old pair for this new one, before grabbing some socks and putting them on.
y/n stepped out of his room into his small apartment, walking over to his kitchen and grabbing a few ingredients for breakfast. or, well, brunch. he grabbed some rice, washing that shit thoroughly, before putting it in the rice cooker and grabbing some toast. he put it in the toaster and opened his fridge to get some eggs, setting up some pans and cracking them in, sunny side up style because that’s fucking scrumptious don’t bully me.
he made two meals, as his boyfriend touya, or well “dabi”, was going to come over soon. he set down two plates at the small table he owned, damn you capitalism, and walked over to his phone. he checked the time, 2:31 yippee, and realized it was time for his t-shot.
he walked over to his cabinet, yoinking whatever supplies he needed, and sitting down in his couch. he pulled his boxers up and wiped down the area with an antiseptic wipe, putting the testosterone in the needle and gently injecting it into his thigh.
y/n put a bandaid on where he injected the medicine, then putting the needle in his sharps box and putting the rest away where he needed to.
he decided to scroll on his phone until dabi showed up, always later or earlier than expected because ooo he always wanted to be mysterious oOoOooO.
as he watched whatever showed up for a while, he started to feel hot. not necessarily temperature wise, but hot and bothered.
he felt himself wetten, as he closed his thighs together, trying to ease the growing tension he felt blooming.
y:n out his phone next to him and brought his hand down his stomach, snaking towards. his crotch.
his fingers slipped under his boxers, before he walked over to his bed, taking a box out and grabbing a vibrator.
he sat down on the couch again, pulling his underwear down and biting his lip as he saw his wetness visible on them.
first he wanted to loosen himself up. no matter what he shoved in there, it was always tight the next day. maybe it was a side from his quirk? only jesus knows.
he raised his legs up and apart, moving his hand down his body and rubbing his fingers around his cunt, gathering the slick before placing two of his fingers into his hole, wincing at the stretching but finding it pleasuring at the same time.
he gasped as he felt his arousal build even more. before he felt himself climax, he reluctantly moved his hand away from his pussy, grabbing the vibrator next to him, turning it on, and gently putting it into his hole.
his legs shook and jerked, his sensitivity from the t-shot inducing his absolute HORNINESS.
he snaked one of his hands to his breast, teasing his nipple and rubbing his other fingers on his clit.
he whimpered and whined, his back arching and rising off the seat as he felt his climax drawing closer, the tension finally getting until it just snapped, the pleasure forcing the vibrator out of his cunt. y/n squirted, moaning loudly, prolonging his orgasm by rubbing his nipples even harder, rubbing his cunt harsher and faster, his body convulsing.
he didn’t even hear the door open.
“oh?” he heard a deep voice call out.
y/n immediately pulled his hands away, pulling his shirt down to cover his pussy as he began to recognize the man.
“sh-shit- h-heyyy dabi..” y/n said, smiling awkwardly.
“hey y/n. i see you couldn’t wait hm? are you that fucking horny?” dabi smirked, sauntering over to y/n’s shivering body. he paused, picking up the wet vibrator on the floor, observing it with the smirk still present on his face, one of his eyebrows raised. “and here i thought you could’ve held up a little longer. were you too horny? hm? what a slut. what a good, damningly pretty, sexy little whore.”
y/n bit his lower lip, refusing to meet his boyfriend’s intimidating gaze.
“s-sorry.” y/n muttered.
“you aren’t. did it feel good?” dabi asked, with that same smug expression.
“i-… y-yes sir..” y/n whispered.
“i didn’t hear you y/n” oh how he lived his name on dani’s lips.
“yes sir.” y/n said, a little louder.
“you know i could make you feel better, hm?” dabi asked, purely rhetorical yet still expecting an answer.
“y-yeah.” y/n practically whimpered as dabi stepped toward, undoing his belt.
“well, i guess i have to teach you a lesson because you clearly don’t understand.”
“i’m sorry sir. i- i didn’t know when you would come back and i was just so wet.” y/n chuckled warily.
“i can see that. now then, i shouldn’t be gentle, should i?”
“i- i guess n- not..”
ALRIGHT YALL I MUGHT CONTINUE THIS IM DEALING WITH SOME D R A M A RN 😍😍😍

It was late in the evening in the city of Kobe, and Ren Nakashima had spent all day getting gifts from people all over the divisions. Lounging around the living room Ren heard the doorbell ring and assuming this was another gift the musician walked over and opened the door. There sitting on his doorstep were two gifts addressed to him. Bringing them inside his house, Ren grabbed the gift closest to him and began to open it.
Tumblr media
Inside the first gift was a mini guitar case, but instead of a guitar, it seemed like the case had a bottle of alcohol in it along with several shot glasses with the Rolling Stones logo on them. A note was attached to the gift. Ren picked it up and began to read.
Ren,
Happy Birthday. Figured you get a kick out of this with your love for rock music.
– Akihisa M.
Tumblr media
Inside the second gift was a switchblade with roses on the handle and what looked to be…blood already staining the blade. Seeing a note, Ren picked it up and began to read.
Ren,
Happy Birthday, you music demon from hell. Hope you enjoy the blade took a few days to fucking get the shape right even if Akari had to do the more intricate details. Never know when your gonna need one and your famous enough for some fucker to try something. Anyway see ya later dude. Keep doing you.
P.S.: Ignore the blood Touya apparently took it out for a test run without us fucking knowing. The little shit.
– Rintaro
“BOOOOOOOZE!!!” Not even five minutes and Kaiji had already taken the guitar case and ran off with it causing Ren (who was holding the bloodied flowers) to sigh in exasperation, Max was too busy curiously inspecting the knife, testing its sharpness by running it down his fingers but with one heated glare from Ren caused the brunette boy to stop and reluctantly gave it back to him which Ren gladly did.
The raven haired musician pocketed the knife before following Kaiji into the kitchen who was already in the process of filling three shot glasses before taking a chug straight from the bottle. “The hell, man? That’s my gift you’re forcing down your throat, god knows how Akihisa managed to get that brought here.” Ren complained however there was no real heat behind his words, Kaiji only flipped him off and sent an air kiss his way. “Tell our favorite murder daddy that we give our thanks, he sure knows how to pick the good shit.”
In a fluid motion, Kaiji slid the two shot glasses over towards Ren and Max, surprisingly not spilling any of the liquor. “Now, drink up, baby boys! The night is not over until we get completely shitfaced and somehow stranded on the roof!”
Ren rolled his eyes and took the shot, downing it with ease while Max only sniffed the alcohol, scrunching his nose in disgust. Kaiji, seeing this, scowled at him. “Damnit Max, drink the fucking shot!”
Max stayed silent as he looked Kaiji dead in the eyes as he held out his arm and slowly spilled the shot into the sink, Ren had to cover his mouth to keep himself from bursting out laughing at the pissed off and scandalized expression Kaiji wore.
“I am going to make you wish you never left that fucking forest…”
Thank you for the gift!

-♡- ... ...
"Take the kids to safety" "And anyone else?" "No traces, burn them all."
... ... -♡-
The sun wrapped around her skin as she woke groggily. Limbs tangled in the sheets as she grabbed her body stretched, leaving her tossing trying to regain a glimpse of her sleep. Reluctantly she opened her eyes, harsh sunlight beaming at her as sat up, the noise of the outside world tumbling through the cracked glass of her window. Slowly she got herself ready for the day, swaying to the sound of the music that played through her busted headphones, on bud silent as she worked. She smiled at her own reflection before heading into the small room they called a living room. She cringed at the smell of burnt leather, nose crinkling as the scent filled the room. "Oi, Touya. Get up." she sighed poking the man in her living room, passed out, thick heavy jacket hanging loosely on his arm as he lay spread out on their couch. He grumbled swatting her hand away as he turned away from her. Back facing her as he buried himself between the cushions as she opened the blinds. Sun showing no mercy as it soaked into ever crevice it could reach, leaving the older man hissing to himself as he sat up. Messy white hair covering his tried eyes as cursed at her for waking him. She only brushed it off as she grabbed whatever they had in the fridge, taking a seat as she ate. The man looked her up and down. Taking in her unusual attire. She looked more like the rest of the shits in the world, more put together he supposed. "Why're you dressed like that?" She looked up confused for a moment as he cruised into the kitchen, grabbing a chilled drink and whatever junk he dug up to eat as he sat across from her. "Like that?" He looked her over once again. Mouth full as he spoke. "Like that" She rolled her eyes grabbing her plate, voice calm as she cleaned her mess careful not to stain herself. "I don't know what your talking about" He watched amused as he flung his feet up on your chair leaning back as he yawned, only to fall back with a thud. Her head snapped back to the table, hand thrown over her mouth in an attempt to stifle the bursting laughter that filled the room. He groaned, pushing himself off the floor as he kicked the chair, standing to his full height as he brushed his coat. Lips pulled in a scowl as he grumbled. "Yea yea laugh it up, but seriously. Whats with the get up?" he echoed his previous question, eyebrow raised curiously, his gaze softening just abit. She smiled as she smoothed out her uniform, pride beaming from her skin as she spoke. "Im trying out for the UA today" He nearly fell back again. His eyes widened as his sister explained that the school had put out another try out for a spare positions in one of the hero course's. It took him a moment to speak, weighing the thought heavily. "Why?" She turned confused to see him, hand on his chin as he looked deep in contemplation. "What?" "I asked why? I mean like c'mon, you really wanna be a hero like all those other kids?" He looked down at her, head tilted as if he couldn't possibly fathom any of her reasoning's. "And plus there's gotta be hundreds of kids lining up, why even bother?" She opened her mouth and suddenly all her previous reasons slipped from her mind. She shut her mouth as she contemplated, silence filling the space between them. Touya shook his head dismissively as he waved his hand in the air, turning his attention on his phone now. "See? Told ya. Now go get changed I'm sure you can still re-apply for whatever school is near by-"
"Because I've decided to take a chance."
Now his turn to take on confusion he turned his eyes back to her, who was now staring directly at him. E/C eye's meeting cyan. Something in the room shifted. He hardened his gaze she didn't back down, that same spark flickering confidently again. She mimicked his own thinking process, eyebrows knitt loosely as she focused, answer thought out word for word. "You asked why I want to be a hero right? Well I answered. Because I want to take my chances." "And if you fail?" The question stung abit more than she had wished it too. Because in reality she may fail, she could end up walking home with her tail between her legs. She took a steady breath eye's still trained on his. "That's part of taking risk's isn't it?" She said, smile returning sheepishly as she awaited his answer. "You got one day kid, make it count." And with that she leaped from her spot rushing to grab her things frantically as she thanked her brother, thank you's spewing from her lips as she ran out the door. "Won't let ya down!" Touya pinched his between his eyes, sighing in frustration despite the small smile he tried to swallow. -♡-

Chapter Two: Ground Rules
The apartment was amazing honestly. It definitely needed cleaning; it looked like an upscale bachelor pad. There were old food containers, dirty clothes lying around, and you didn’t want to know when he last dusted. But it wasn’t too much for you. You’d roomed with people, paid for places that were far more of a dump than this. You could see everything waiting for you underneath the mess.
The visit to the apartment made you eager to sign the lease. You couldn’t figure out why Touya seemed so happy with it. If he could afford a place like this, couldn’t he afford a maid service? But you wouldn’t question it anymore. You couldn’t afford to. This was your golden ticket to surviving college.
Two weeks later, after signing your lease, you were moving in. Heavy boxes weighed your arms as you climbed the stairs over and over. Your new roommate was nowhere to be seen after letting you inside, doing no more than pressing your shiny new key into your hand and walking off into the depths of the apartment. A glare found its way onto your face quickly. The only hope you had of moving the larger items was that Bakugou and Kirishima had offered to help.
You couldn’t let them help any more than that, despite their offers to help you finish. Your peace of mind would have forced you to thank them by buying food or paying them for their time, neither of which you could do right now. So, with a tight smile you waved them away as they reluctantly loaded up and you finished moving the boxes up far too many flights of stairs yourself.
By the end you were exhausted. Sweating badly despite the shorts and thin tank top you wore. However, all you could think of was how you were now moved into your new place, you were home. You had a key of your own, and the boxes filling your new room gave you a sense of renewal. Like this was a fresh start. With a deep breath you started the slow process of unloading your clothes. So right now, it was just you and some music to keep you company as you put stuff away until it was time for work. It wasn’t until an hour had likely passed, and you were far into unpacking, singing at the top of your lungs and still relatively poorly dressed in those cheeky shorts and that small tank top, that you heard the clearing of his throat. You started, blinking as you glanced over to Touya leaning lazily against your doorframe. His eyes lingering on your legs.
His gaze didn’t move, though he had to notice your attention on him. It lingered like a burning flame, stroking across your exposed skin. It caused goosebumps to rise and your stomach to squirm. Your bare foot hooked around your ankle as you tried to catch his attention another way. You cleared your throat and slowly, so achingly slow, his blue gaze flickered up your body, you duck your head nervously and murmured, “Ah, Todoroki. Sorry, was I loud?”
He scoffed and rolled his eyes, “Alright, first thing, call me Touya, I fucking hate my family name.” He shoved off the frame and stalked into your room, you immediately stepped back as he said, “Next thing, we should go over some house rules and a schedule for when you can and can’t do things.”
He didn’t answer your question, but you wondered if perhaps the fact your music had been cranked up to an ungodly level had been exactly what prompted his desire for the ‘rules’ talk. You shivered in front of him, but it wasn’t from fear, it was from the way his eyes wouldn’t leave you. It was from the way they seemed to be snagging your soul and ripping it out through your chest. He was too much to look at like this. You couldn’t be this close to him. It felt like all the air was taken from the room. Like he was taking up the entire space. So, you did the only thing you could do, you nodded desperately, eyes wide, unable to glance away from him for a second. Unable to even blink. “Fucking cute,” he mumbled with an appreciative smirk curling his pierced lips.
He turned on his heel and left, only stopping long enough to glance back over his shoulder at you and tap his knuckle on the doorway. Once he was gone it was like a crushing weight on your chest was swept away too. You gasped in air greedily. Geeze, what was it about that man? Touya seemed to exert this oppressive pressure whenever he was in the room. You were never able to look away nor directly at him, or get near him, and he liked to push your boundaries in the most delicious way.
A way that had your thighs squeezing and your walls fluttering. Slick lined your panties, and you hated it, hated that somehow knew just how much you lusted for his gaze despite the way it made you nearly turn inside out. You also dreaded the fact that you now needed to face him after making such a fool of yourself. He was sitting on a recliner when you walked into the living room, one foot brushing the floor while the other was flung lazily over the arm. Scrolling through his phone with a look of disinterest, he glanced up once you entered, but took his time giving you his full attention, as he started typing something. You weren’t as irked as when he hadn’t been there to help unload. Though you weren’t sure if you had the right to be upset about that. He had never said he would do that. Perhaps you should feel more upset now, especially since he’d called you out here to talk to you. But also, this gave you a moment to observe him. It gave you a moment to get used to his presence without feeling suffocated.
So, you perched on the edge of the couch, waiting for him to finish, and glancing around at the sparse living room.
“You look like you’re about to take off at any time, like you might break. Like a little porcelain doll,” he let that word sit and roll over your spine, until you finally chanced a momentary glance at him. “Relax, babe. Nothing bad is gonna happen.” You scoffed and rolled your eyes, but avoided looking at him directly for too long, which only made his grin turn into a lopsided smirk. He knew just like you did that your moment of bravery was a bluff. His eyes raked your form with languid heat, his tongue slipping out to roll over his lip ring. You wondered how that tongue would taste? Immediately balking at how eagerly your lust laden thoughts had turn salacious. “Alright, little thing, you said you work Monday for six hours and then another ten hours the rest of the week spread out. Otherwise, it’s just your night classes?” the way his tone turned sharp and business-like had you snapping to attention, focusing on his words intently. You nodded, “Yeah, and I can cook your dinner ahead of time on nights I may be gone, to you know have some homemade pre-frozen meals, in case you didn’t want to order.” Your hand rubbed across the flesh of your thigh over and over, dimpling the flesh. Touya’s eyes drifted downward to follow the movement with a lazy intensity you didn’t think was possible. Your fingers curled into your palm and your nervous tick stopped almost instantaneously. He chuckled before turning back to the matter at hand. “Well, aren’t you helpful?” he patronized. “That’s very sweet. But I figured you’d make me lunch for every day of the week, and then three to five nights a week you could do dinner based on your schedule. I don’t eat breakfast.” Your eyes darted to the side only to then slide towards him under lowered lashes, hoping to shield yourself from the way he was staring at you, and nodded, “Ok. And I’ll do your laundry and keep this place spotless.” His grin stretched, “Don’t promise things that are impossible, babe.” Sighing, he leaned his head back on his shoulders before fixing you with a harsh and serious gaze. His relaxed posture changed, everything in him stiffened and he narrowed his eyes at you. There was something in him that changed from a relaxed predator to a dangerous beast. He was vicious right now, whatever he said next, he wouldn’t accept no as an answer. “W-what?” you asked, fidgeting. “Now to go over the rules. These are blanket rules and will affect both of us. Always knock-on bedroom doors and bathroom doors before entering, first one up makes the coffee, label your food if you don’t want it eaten, if you break it you replace it. This one is my personal rule for you, don’t come out of your room when I have a party,” he nearly snarled the last one and you saw a glimmer of how dangerous Touya could be if you crossed the line. You blinked, your jaw working around silent words trying to find an answer but unable to at the finality of his tone and the restrictions it put on you. “Why?” you asked. You didn’t argue, you just wanted a reason. You couldn’t argue with the way he stared at you, his blue gaze squinting, and his lip curled in a sneer. “I will give you a day’s notice before I hold a party at least, and if you need something all you have to do is text me,” he said, completely ignoring the question.
But you knew he heard it, had seen the way his jaw flexed at the single word. He didn’t like being questioned when it came to this. All you could do was swallow, the cool way he led the conversation had you nodding in agreement. His pleased expression made you realized what you had just agreed to. He’d have complete control over the household if you kept acting like a meek little mouse. “I knew you were perfect for this. Perfect to be here with me,” he murmured, the smirk pulling at his lips again. His eyes swept over you once more, lingering in places that only lover’s should indulge in. Once again, the stiffness left his muscles, and he was back to reminding you of a lazy cat. A big one though, like a lion out in the sun just waiting for it to cool off before it hunted. Before it became an issue and made a meal of you. Touya was dangerous, you just didn’t know why. Embarrassment flooded through you, nerves took over, and quickly rushed from the room. He cackled behind you and the sound followed you all the way to your room. Just who was Touya? Maybe it was time to keep an eye open on campus.
