Btw I've been thinking about this for a while but the last time Ramón saw his dads together was in the funeral of his death siblings, Spreen threaten to kill Dapper in front of him, and this was literally like 8 months ago.
I can totally see why he's excited to have a new present and kind father figure in his life.

#its odd because i generally dislike being compared to hermitcraft members#specifically when its from people who dont know me#because a lot of the time when youre being constantly compared to professional builders it can feel almost shallow as a compliment#because when random people do it theyre looking at your work and turning it into the work of another person#when its a stranger its less about what ive created and more about this other person who i may not even know#but the fact that youve been my friend and mutual for so long changes this#and also the fact that you chose bdubs as your specific link means so much to me#because hes where i get the majority of my technique and ethic from#so the compliment feels deeper#if you had said grian i probably wouldnt have been the same#partially because im pretentious as hell when it comes to him and the fact that he isnt where i draw inspiration from#and the fact that tou specified 'of the people i know' also means a lot to me#because its not putting me on any relative level compared to bdubs its just stating that my style is a sucessful reflection of sorts to his#though obv with his many years and age and technique he can build circles around me#thas not the point#on the other hand of the comparing to hc memebers thing i understand it completely#most people who see my work are very likely ti be in that fandom#and their first impression is often 'hey! this thing reminds me of other thing that i enjoy! it makes me happy!'#which is great but not really the intended purpose of the build you know#im not making it to be like other people im making it for me and to realise my creativity or whatever#i do get annoyed when people compare my jokes or my actions to youtubers though#like no sometimes things happen with unique circumstances and unique jokes#anyway not important at all#um basically pheo; thank you for this compliment it means a lot to me#i just also happen to have spent time exploring my opinions on compliments like this and how i like to be seen as an artist and this#happens to be the perfect example#and the compliment wouldnt have been as meaningful if it was coming from someone other than you#i probably looked way too deep into this but it gave me time to appreciate it#pheostag#fishasks

I think if kokichi’s talent was entomology (and the story of v3 was different due to swapped talents) my opinion on him would’ve skyrocketed
#I love Gonta for more than his talent don’t get me wrong#but I am so so so easy to please my favourites are the scientists ESPEICALLY the biologists#I feel like you don’t see too many sciencey characters in fiction#especially bio and not like. a vague charicature of chemistry or maybe physics in the right setting#so Gonta being an entomologist just really won over my heart day 1#I also love creepy/awkward characters so entomologist Kokichi (who in my mind would be less chaotic than canon Kokichi) really appeals to me#‘what about kiyo’ tou may ask and to that I answer. yeah I like kiyo#I’ve thoroughly forgotten what I was talking about how#now*#it’s bedtime ursine#shut up me

#scopitone#michel polnareff#looking rather angelic. also like jarvis cocker at times haha#it's a great restoration but sadly the color fluctuates. there's a version that's less hd but with more consistent color#which i took a few shots from because they were missing in the other video (it's the shots with a 3 in the top right corner)#i replaced shots of bikini-wearing women from the original video with nature shots from the ina archives (hence the ina watermark)#those original shots just really didn't fit the vibe imo#and i think they were added because scopitones were often played in mens' clubs so lots of them have#gratuitous scantily clad women dancing erotically even when it doesn't really fit the vibe of the song or the rest of the video#for example even the scopitone for 'tous les garçons et les filles' by françoise hardy has women having their skirts lifted up by the wind!#and i think it's a subtle way to check this 'eroticism' box of scopitone filming

Now that I think about it, writing "this or that group don't interact" on your profile is so fucking stupid. The only case where I can see this apply is when you post mature content and don't want kids to see it. But even then it isn't dni but rather do not consume my content. Imagine someone on the street asking you for help and then you getting angry because they turned out to have different beliefs than you do. That is so stupid and people are making themselves stupid by avoiding confronting their own beliefs. Honestly, I don't care who interacts with me. Just because you hold certain beliefs about fictional characters doesn't mean you are a good or a bad person.
One person's freedom stops where another person's freedom begins. I cannot stop anyone from interacting with me, as long as it doesn't cause me physical harm. I can choose to ignore them or not to listen to them. But I cannot stop anyone from interacting with me. And even if you have different beliefs than me, I am willing to listen, because that's how humans grow.
