More Centaur au because why not!

I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since my ReiMari drawing, and by now I am actually starting to flesh it out.

Couple of things to the drawings:

Young Reimu has purple hair and coat as a child, but it darkens as she grows up, becoming a more purple-ish black.

"Humans" centaurs in this au have lower horse-halves, for Youkai on the other hand, it depends on what kind of Youkai they are. So, someone like the Momiji wouldn't have a horse half but a wolf half. As such, Keine is in the unique position of having a horse body that turns into the one of a Hakutaku(bull) during the full moon (yes, it is painful especially after transforming back)

Due to her circumstances, Keine has monthly check-ups after a full moon to check that nothing went wrong during both transformations and treat wounds she might have received during the night while protecting the village. She often accidentally ends up falling asleep during the check-up and staying the day at Eientei.

found this as i was cleaning out my art folder. generic-brand version of “Tipsy the Goat” that I drew a jillion years ago with the thought of optioning her as a Them’s Fighting Herds NPC. tweaked her design a bit to better fit the game’s aesthetic and downplay the obvious touhou elements.

obviously she didn’t make it into the game bc lolnomoney but it’s kinda nice to see the goat again.

I still fucking love this design. I don’t say that about 99.99% of the shit I draw but this is a good one.

(I would rearrange her stripes to form the red tomoe mark on her dress though, which i’ll do for the big final piece)
