GETTING TOGETHER…

Abshrhsa I think of thousands of ways osoeri get together… every which way.. but I think canonly their relationship is kind of slow and vaguely romantic for a while!!

Friends that hug for too long and when going out on the train erina is always asking to lean on his shoulder to rest and ends up nuzzling him.. Osomatsu talks to his brothers as if erina is already his girlfriend and brags all the time like “ERINA-CHAN IS THE ONLY ONE FOR ME!!!”

But when its just Osomatsu and Erina they’re close friends but often are shy with their affection at first, osomatsu going so quiet when erina leans on him to sleep and holding his breathe the whole way home.. Osomatsu goes out of his way to inch his hand towards Erina’s and the tips of their pinkies kiss and it makes him tremble out of love overload.. And despite being outgoing Erina is quite shy when initiating things sometimes like she’ll just get closer while laughing and acting like she’s not doing anything ^///^ his hands will just be on top of hers for a while and she will not point it out and let it happen bc she doesn’t want it to end..

Erina is very insecure too I imagine they get closer because Osomatsu gets to know her insecurities and hype her up and thinks she’s even cuter because of them ahdnfndk like erina thinks she’s like.. “fake cute” and that people will be repulsed by her knowing she’s a mess— and though osomatsu doesn’t really understand her mental turmoils he just wants to her to believe that he thinks she’s so cute the cutest in the world like goes crazy over how she’s sincere like wtf.. pure !?

UGH and then and then. I imagine when osomatsu is pushing his luck with her, being perverted and acting really gross towards her until he’s all up on top of her and she doesn’t do anything to stop him… he melts into mush on top of her. Saying that she has to stop him if she wants him to stop, and erina doesn’t want him to stop. And Osomatsu says she’s being dangerous, does that mean she likes him? Erina says what if I did like you… Osomatsu hugging her like you won’t be able to take it back, I don’t think I’ll ever let you go never never— and then it segways into being more bold and becoming a real relationship auagahgaa

MUNDANE THINGS-

i love to think about how they share treats,Erina loves sweet drinks so Osomatsu always gets a taste… sip sip and kiss 😚

And just like how totty and Osomatsu watch videos on their phone I think Osomatsu and erina would do that too, watching funny videos and making dirty jokes.. I think Osomatsu loves it when Erina loves funny sex and poop humor!!

Erina has the worst executive dysfunction when it comes to cleaning and organizing so when she has to do laundry, sometimes osomatsu comes over and either just lays around and just his presence motivates her.. and sometimes he helps but they both get lazy and they just lay on top of the clothes to take a break 💕

I Like to think about also take walks around the city often and erina jumps and fawns over every dog they see 🐶

HOLIDAYS

Erina doesn’t get to go home to her family very often during the year so Osomatsu invites her to spend time with his household during the family oriented holidays.. eating hotpot and she can spend time with his funny brothers and parents.. Matsuyo loves her and tries to insert subliminal messages to give her a grandchild by showing her baby pictures.. I think it’s so sweet erina would very much appreciate not being alone for the holidays and being around people who are close to one another rather than her family that is actually very distant from each other emotionally

AND FOR NON family oriented holidays.. like Christmas Eve for couples.. ofc they go on dates but Osomatsu WILL have his head in the gutter the whole time preparing for getting dirty afterwards— like haha yeah the lights are so pretty, I can’t wait to have sex tonight 🤪 while erina is like wow this is soo romantic.. I cant wait to have sex tonight 🥰

SEEING EACH OTHER ON THE STREETS!

Literally magnetic towards each other they will find a way.. floating over to each other spinning in circles like omgomgomg wowowow I missed u!! Mt. Takao episode but with Mika in it.

Would also be wearing flip flops instead of proper hiking shoes but that's just her deal because she can't stand shoes in the first place. Her feet don't get sore instantly but maybe a while up the mountain she starts to feel it.

Is mostly playing Pokemon Go and spinning stops, checking for shinies along the path. She at least gets one but it's something she already has.

At the first gift shop she spots the little panda phone covers and buys one not realizing that it doesn't fit her phone. It does fit Totty's phone and she gives it to him. He adores it and brags that he has something that reminds him of Mika to the others (despite they all have something from her like a million times over already, he love being braggy).

Does not play along with the kindergarten ploy. Just stands back and is like ʕಠᴥಠʔ <"what the fuck are you guys doing this time?"

When it comes to the lifts there was a huge squabble in who sits with her. She actually goes first alone and everyone else is paired with the episode proper.

Has the moe moment looking over the fall town with everyone. Takes pictures of them as well as the fall foliage for art inspiration later. Buys everyone a special treat at the rest area.

Is found dead with the others eaten by crows at the ending.

After have digged a lot of shoujo manga be ready for some shoujo cliche! First how does the Matsu react when they notice something on their s/o like a bead crumb or some rice on their cheeks or a leaf on their head?

Osomatsu: He really liked these small moments, eating onigiris with his s/o under the beaming sun. Their face looked so much better too in these moments, but there was something muddling this picture a bit. Oso leaned over, his thumb brushing away the grain of rice but resting near their lips.

“O…oso?” they were looking at him, their cheeks flushing to their ears. He couldn’t help but to… Quickly steal a bite of their snack.

He laughed at their annoyance, and pretended to be shocked when they stole a bite of his food. He kissed their forehead, still chuckling- really this is going to keep him smiling for weeks till next time.

Karamatsu: This was Kara’s big chance. The chance to be the coolest guy, and make his s/o blush from his amazing confidence. Pushing up his sunglasses, he prepares himself for his big line. This has to happen now, and it has to be perfect-

“Hey, hold still a bit.” His s/o beats him to the punch, wiping away his panko crumbs. “Thank goodness I helped, now you’re perfectly cool”

“o-OH.” his cheeks were flushed, he pushed his glasses deeper up. “Thank you, my Karamatsu-world!”

Choromatsu: His s/o had the great plan to eat before he set off to his concert, it was great really- he was concerned at the food they chose. It was dripping with sauce, and ended up on the side of their cheek. He sighed, and with a napkin wiped away the offending liquid.

“Honestly, be careful- You could have dripped onto your cloth-” His nagging stopped when he looked at the closeness between him and his S/o. Causing him to panic, and stand up abruptly, their food landing on him in the process.

His s/o laughed, and walked with him back home so he could get changed- even offering their jacket so he wasn’t too embarrassed.

Ichimastu: Ichi couldn’t believe his luck, getting a tuna onigiri from his s/o. It wasn’t like he deserved it, but they insisted. They chomped onto their food, while petting a cat that was obviously begging. Would…would this be like everyday if they stay together. The idea makes him need a bit of pay back.

Seeing their face have a bit of rice stuck to it snaps him out of his mild embarrassment, and he leans close to his s/o’s face. They mistake it for a kiss, close their eyes- before feeling his tongue lap at their cheek.

“W-wha-!” they cover the spot, and blush. Honestly, serve them right.

Jyushimatsu: After running around the park 4 times, and taking 12 laps at the river- Jyushi ran back to his s/o who was waiting on a picnic blanket with food ready.He really worked into an appetite after running around so much. He stopped when he saw some bread on his s/o’s face and he quickly wiped it away then lifted them up ,and spun.

“J-Jyushi!” they held him tight before Jyushimatsu fell to the ground with them laughing. They also laughed, and rolled off of him. “Come on- let’s have lunch already!”

He couldn’t wait.

Todomatsu: He was sitting at a booth, waiting for his s/o to come back with their croissant and both of their drinks. Swiping through photos of them both on their date- carefully ranking the photos in his mind on which would be best for bragging rights.

“Here Totty~” his focus snapped to them, setting his drink down, then taking a seat by him before taking a bite of the cream filled croissant. A piece of bread stuck to the side of their mouth, and he sighed leaning close- brain still thinking of the photo’s to warn him of his move.

His hand wiped away the bread, and he whispered out “Honestly, you can’t be this cute all the time.” They looked up at him, their face flushed. His brain fully caught up now, he laughed it off and sat down. “My bad- we should take pictures of the drinks together!” that was too close, that almost didn’t feel like it fit his careful persona.

I really dont think totty enjoys sweets in his personal life, idk if hes like a savory person or not, but we know he likes to snack a lot on salty foods like chips and he drinks a lot of soda on his own.

However he has an image to project, and that imagw requires him to be soft and fluffy and sweet so when hes with food its often with like desserts. Sometimes hes shown eating (esp with his brothers) savory foods, and we know canonically his favorite food is avocado

Anyways the reason why i think he always uses strawberry sweets in his merch or promo art is bc im right there backstage and he just gives them to me bc its the only fruit i can eat without dying. Thats the whole reason.

He takes his bite, snaps the picture or does the cutesy pose, and then when the cameras are away he just gives it to me and is like, "I made sure that they used the extra thick whip cream that you like, instead of the other kind. Enjoy." And he just watches me happily eat it.

This is also evil of him however bc sometimes he knows ill be tasked to eat multiple ones in a row and he didnt marry a quitter so i have to eat them all.

Idk how to say this in a non-sappy way and it's probably wrong anyways but I like to think that the three eldest Matsuno's had different strengths as so called older brothers.

Osomatsu's Is authenticity. He knows his brothers true selves, he understands them, he accepts them. He's good at offering that kind of reassurance. He may sometimes enable their least positive habits and tendencies, but overall he's all about acceptance of their personalities and essences. When you picture a big bro who's a partner in crime you picture Oso.

Karamatsu, being the stupid "do you want a lullaby how can I help you you can rely on me" type is good at offering support. His sentimental dumbass is probably emphaty-leaning, he just likes feeling like people trust him. I think he'd be good at offering emotional support and just anything that you wouldn't want to be judged or poked fun at (on purpose). Dunno I get this feeling that once you appeal to his feelings he'll take your problems seriously, like it'd have to be something exceedingly stupid for him to play the straight man.

(both Oso and Kara remind me of Trent from Daria. Well meaning. May call you out if it's too obvious you won't get there yourself. You DO NOT go to them for actually life/future/career/actual adulthood advice)

Choromatsu is the sensible one, the one who at least pretends to have a couple of neurons managing executive function. He's pragmatic, understands how society works and values individuals, and generally approaches problems rationally. If you want solutions or are in need of a nagging, he's your guy.

Ofc those are just like, their natural tendencies or even their strengths as I perceive them, it's not set in stone by any means.

I'm also thinking of them as older brothers, I think when it comes to who's actually the best of the group, well, I actually think that Totty can be about as good if not better than Choromatsu at Keeping It Real once he's older, and it's not like any of the three youngest will be relying on Choro for anything like life advice in their 20s... I wish but I don't think they're there lol. At least not unless he started walking the talk.

And when it comes to emotional intelligence yeah you can probably vent about whatever you Karamatsu, but I think that in highschool the person they'd actually give you good insights was Ichimatsu... And as adults, the heart IQ is being monopolized by Jyushimatsu. He'll even call out your delusions if it's too bad.

He casually loops an arm around her shoulders, babbling away about the most nothing thing -- just playing along with the whole situation. Subtly, he pulled his phone out, and jammed it her direction. Putting on his cutesy voice, and giving her a little shake in the process, he waved his phone around at her, tapping out a message on the screen.

"Look, look! This picture is really funny, isn't it?"

I'm calling my brothers. They'll know what to do.

After a second he'd deemed long enough for her to read the text, he opened his phone app. With every shake, he'd pressed a button on the keypad, thumb hovering over the call button.

"Oh, yeah! Choromatsu-niisan is sad you didn't make it to his birthday party.... You really should call him! Here, I bet he'll pick right up!! He'd love to hear from you!" 😊

Maybe he SHOULD be calling the police or something instead, but to be honest -- when Todomatsu is in danger, or doesn't know what to do, his brothers are always the first people he thinks of. Even if they're all kind of dumbasses, they know that phone calls from Totty are rare -- AND very important. Especially if they're like the strange one they're undoubtedly about to receive... Still, he now has caught on to a strange pursuer straggling some distance from them, so he takes to guiding her towards a general shopping district route that they could loop for a while. At least until his bigger brothers get here.

Man, he hopes he didn't bite off more than he could chew. She wouldn't know it, but he absolutely is freaking out. At least the ring from the phone meant the call was going through, though, and his protective grip grew a little stronger as he chattered away. Eventually, the phone picks up.

"Totty? Is everything okay?"

      A  young  woman  approaches  you  with  a  smile  that  borders  on  hysterical.  Her  demeanor  is  cheery,  but  you  can  tell  by  the  way  she  carries  herself  that  she's  on  edge,  especially  when  she  peers  over  her  shoulder  like  she's  being  watched.  She  fidgets  with  the  collar  of  her  shirt,  seeming  nervous  to  speak,  but  she  eventually  gets  the  words  out,  voice  soft  and  slightly  shaky.

      ❝I'm  sorry  to  be  a  bother,  but  could  you  pretend  we  know  each  other  and  walk  with  me  for  a  little  while?  I  think  I'm  being  followed...❞

• Going out with all of them to do anything is like herding cats.

• You lose sight of Jyushimatsu shortly after you arrive. As soon as you stepped through the gates his head starts to spin with excitement and he runs off in the direction of the rides before you have the chance to formulate any kind of plan for the day. The others assure you that there's no keeping up with him until he gets the excitement out of his system. In other words; he's the staff's problem now.

• Osomatsu also wanders off pretty fast to get himself food, promising he'll be right back but going completely MIA as well, and Karamatsu gets sidetracked by the very first game you pass. After a few failed attempts to beat it the rest of you want to move on but he insists on staying behind to keep trying so you leave him to it. Meanwhile, you, Ichi, Totty, and Choro stay together for almost the entirety of the trip

• Totty is glued to your side, taking pictures and routinely linking elbows with you when he sees the opportunity. He's enthusiastic about trying the different stunt foods, pulling you from stand to stand with him, and is cheerily insistent on sharing everything you or he gets.

"It just makes more sense if we share, right? That way we both get to have some of everything!"

"Good point!"

"Heehee, I knew you'd agree!"

"Here," you turn your attention to the other two, "You guys can dig in too, there's plenty!"

• Suddenly he's much less enthusiastic about sharing unless the others aren't around.

• Ichimatsu is basically hiding in your shadow. He didn't really want to come, but he did anyway so you're proud of him.

• And Choromatsu tags along behind, carrying his brothers' stuff and studying the guide pamphlet he picked up at the park's entrance. He routinely pipes up to point out something that he thinks looks interesting, like different attractions on the map as well as letting you know what times shows start or what kind of food there is around and let's you lead the way there.

• Unfortunately if you're interested in rides, none of these three are all that into the idea, but Totty's probably the most willing. Unexpectedly, Ichimatsu also comes along with you despite looking less than interested. He's been following you all this time and he's not about to stop now.

• Osomatsu and Jyushimatsu do pop back up eventually (to give Choro more stuff to carry), and rejoin your group for a little while as well.

• Jyushi is eager to try every ride in the park and you're impressed to find that he's already made it through half of them by the time you find him and agree to join him for the rest.

• Oso spent all his money on food and trinkets pretty quickly, so he decides to follow you as well, sticking around to bum leftovers off of everyone. He also tags along with you and Jyushi on the rides since your day passes were already paid for and it won't cost him anything.

• The three of you get on a few rides before Choro finally has enough and dumps all Oso's stuff, forcing him to carry it himself again and watch as the rest of you have fun.

• After a while with no sign of him, you do go out of your way to search for Karamatsu, but find that he's still trying at that first game, his determination utterly unshaken.

• You, Jyushi, Oso, Choro, and Totty eventually stop to discuss what to do next, with Jyushi and Oso wanting to keep riding and Choro and Totty wanting to take a break to go see what entertainment there is. And as you're being pulled in two different directions, Ichimatsu finally speaks up.

"Let's do that." He stepped up beside you, giving your sleave a small tug to get your attention and your eyes followed to where he was pointing.

"The haunted house?"

"Yeah." The corners of his mouth turn up for the first time all day. "Looks like fun, right?"

• Seeing as it was his turn to get to choose something anyway, you agree right away

• Now you've got Totty actually glued to your side. He's not fazed by monsters, ghosts, or jumpscares, in fact, he almost decked one of the actors for getting too close. It's the dark he's afraid of and unfortunately, haunted houses tend to be mostly dark.

• On the other hand, Oso and Jyushi have a blast laughing at all the scares, with Jyushi even successfully scaring one of the actors back at one point. All while Ichi plays up the spooky aspect to you and Choro; that lazy, sly smile never leaving his face as he leans over your shoulders to whisper warnings in your ears, trying to get you to jump before anything in this attraction even has the chance.

• It ends up being one of your favorite parts of the park by the time you reach the end, the six of you coming out the other side huddled together and laughing.

• After that, things settle down and you all find a place to sit, taking a small break before moving on to anything else. This is also when Totty decides to pop a question that has probably been on his mind all day, mustering up the best puppy dog eyes he can do.

"I was hoping maybe we could ride the ferris wheel together, just the two of us?"

But before you're able to give your answer, a deep voice cuts through the crowd.

"It's funny you say that, dear brother,"

Appearing after all this time comes Karamatsu, a bright, red octopus plush tucked under his arm. "Because I was about to ask them the same thing." Taking a few steps closer he holds the toy out to you proudly.

"For me?" You ask surprised, and he nods. "Are... are you sure? You worked so hard to win this."

He reiterates himself by holding it out to you even more dramatically with a low chuckle and after a small pause, you finally accept. "Thank you! I'll cherish it." You joke but are genuinely touched, squeezing it to your chest.

You manage to get a glimpse of the giddy look in his eyes from behind his glasses as he grins, clearly happy with your reaction but trying to play it off aloof as always. "Why of course, think nothing of it~"

• You carry that thing with you for the rest of the trip, yes, even onto the ferris wheel.

• You also accept both of their offers to ride the faris wheel. In fact, you end up riding the ferris wheel six times total, for obvious reasons. But so does everyone else, since no matter who you end up sitting beside, the rest of them come along that round too and wave at you from the different gondolas.

• It took the better part of the trip, but with all the initial excitement out of the way, everyone is finally together again and your trip can really begin, revisiting your favorite attractions, rides and food stands as a group this time, even while the sky grows dark.

• That is until Jyushi goes missing once more while the seven of you are waiting in line to watch some kind of special entertainment, but instead of giving up and continuing without him, you find a small vantage point, take in a deep breath and yell his name as loud and clearly as you can.

"JYUSHIMATSU! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

After a few seconds of nothing but the sound of the crowd accompanied by their strange looks at your out of context yelling, the lack of a response makes you deflate a little and you step back down to the ground.

"Better brace yourself." Oso warns and you give him confused look, but before you have the chance to question further, you're tackled to the ground at full speed by a yellow blur that comes barreling from the crowd.

"You called?" If you'd known it was that easy, you would have done that from the beginning. (That or just save yourself the trouble and take Mrs. Matsuno up on her offer to borrow his old toddler harness.)

• By the time you all decide to head home, he as well as Ichi have both burned themselves out. With the former having crashed and getting carried around by Karamatsu, and Ichi looming even closer to you than before as you make your way out of the gates.

• You all bring home plenty of souvenirs and extra street food, but you officially put your foot down and make everyone carry their own stuff instead of dumping it on Choro. With the exception of Kara, who you offer to help since he's a little preoccupied.

• "That was awesome, we should do this kind of thing more often!" You say offhandedly, unprepared for the way it seems to catch all of their attention.

"You mean it?" Totty asks, skipping up beside you.

"Hmm?"

"That we should do stuff like this more often, you and...all of us." He clarifies.

"Oh yeah, of course. I'd love to do more stuff like this with you guys! Just say when!"

"No backsies!" Jyushi also chirps up before limply resting his head on his brother's shoulder again and Ichi pats your back, giving you a lazy smile when you look at him, confused by their reactions.

"Wait, what did I just agree to?" You ask, almost stopping in your tracks but Totty grabs your hand and pulls you along with a giggle, all of them clearly satfied with what you thought was an obvious answer.

favorite thing about them:

hes such a funny, goofy little piece of shit. hes so unabashed and unapologetic in who he is, and he’s just straight up adorable! he also feels like such a warm and comforting character to me? he can be pretty emotionally intelligent and is able to pick up on and sympathize with others' feelings.

he’s also quite good at reassuring and calming his brothers down! like despite being a silly little manchild, he can be reliable and really feels like a comforting presence.

also this thing he does where he’s able to challenge people and call them out on their bluff when they’re being dishonest and stubborn with their own feelings.

oso is also such an interesting character to psychoanalyze. like the fact that in s3e18 he was terrified and tried to run away when asked out by a really cute girl, the fact that he only thought of someone liking him as a funny joke, the idea that if no one expects anything out of him then he’ll never disappoint anyone, which might be why he started the date off with the most unfiltered, shitty version of himself, the fact that he reflected quietly all night and decided to actually genuinely try for once only to be rejected........ just in that skit alone there’s so much to think about he’s just neat idk

choukei! like despite shitting on each other a lot (esp from kara’s end), these two really feel like a DUO to me. they seem to have mutual disrespect for each other but also a weird kind of mutual respect, and sometimes they do attempt to take their supposed roles as the eldest a bit seriously. their little "top two brothers" exchange at the end of the choromatsu incident makes me smile like an idiot.

kara voices his thoughts much more readily than he does with other brothers, and that makes their interactions unique and really entertaining to watch. snarky, bitchy, and or exasperated kara is always a fun time. and when there isnt any sort of conflict between them, they seem pretty comfortable just hanging out together, and they do so regularly! 

these two feel really close to each other in a "hey this guy sucks lol" kind of way.

does this count as an unpopular opinion? i dont really see him as being that stupid, he just doesnt give any shits and so will just do or say whatever immediately comes to mind most of the time. he’s capable of being logical and introspective, and often uses reason to reassure people. 

like. hes not that dumb, he just doesnt want to think. he just wants to act like a funny little guy. his head is empty but hes not stupid. idk if im making any sense but yeah
