Their goal was to scare the ever-loving shit out of the people listening to it and they succeeded but you know what horror movies work because people go into horror movies knowing that it's going to be horrifying and gross, you have to warn people first.

Like that first jump-scare I was not expecting it at all. Legitimately terrifying and jump scares usually don't scare me.

The second time I listen to it I forgot about that jump-scare so this time when I jumped I had a cat beneath my feet so I was trying not to land on them so I dislocated my fucking leg.

Congrats on meeting your goal of terrifying your audience, if you're going to fucking do something like that you have to fucking give them some warning

You were right about Audrey. I'll admit, initially I thought you were too hard on her. But her recent translation trends makes her biases very clear. Her rush job along with her refusal to translate any more of Tifa's story in TotTP and now clear omissions in translating anything remotely positive between Cloud and Tifa? On the initial ultimania, a case can be made in giving benefit of doubt. But now? Very sketchy af. Keep doing what you are doing. Fandom is lucky to have your no bs approach.

When I first found her translations I was like everyone else thinking she was such a positive influence to the fandom, but then I started noticing inconsistencies between what she said things said and what official translations and other fan translations said, so then I started looking into it some more and once I started getting ultimanias I realised she was deliberately omitting info from sections and downplaying other parts, pushing this "alt timeline" thing super hard when it doesn't appear in the books or interviews as anything but a what if red herring that's quickly backtracked with facts. As a JP speaker who can read the books it's super sketchy she kept deliberately misinterpreting things. Then I learned she's a clerith and it all made sense.

I mean, just look at her behaviour with the alone at last scene. She goes into detail about the romantic connotations of the scene and because the cult whined at her she back tracked and said they don't have to see it as romantic if they don't want to.

Way to undermine her own credibility 🤦‍♀️

I understand in Japan that copyright is stricter so she can't share pages directly, but she should've realised other countries don't have as strict laws around it and she'd get caught out. It makes her look so unprofessional and ridiculous when she's acting like she can play both sides and keep all her followers.

One thing I promise is not to hide page info. If I share a translation then I'll also share the original so people can see for themselves what it says 😁

Hey everybody! I’m going to be hosting a bbdiscord that is a little different! While the competitions will remain big brother related, the format will be following that of The Totem Pole!  

The Totem Pole is a reality show that is uploaded onto youtube!  (If you want to watch, i suggest skipping s1 as the format isn’t the same as s2 and s3 - which is the format we will be following.) I will explain this new format in detail under the cut, but if you need a visual/audio explanation, they explain the format in the first episode of s2 if you can understand better that way. (I would link, but then the post will not show up in tags right.)  IF YOU’RE SICK OF BIG BROTHER, THAN PLEASE GIVE TOTEM POLE YOUR ATTENTION ON YOUTUBE.

Here is how The Totem Pole works! This format has 5 stages in each round, where two people will leave each time.

The First and Second Stage: The Challenge and Placement In this stage, the entire house will compete to become the top of the totem pole, regardless of if you were the top in the previous round. The winner of the ToTTP  will be safe, but has to rank the entire house on The Totem Pole from top to bottom, with the bottom five being in the most danger, and the very bottom being in immediate danger.

The Third Stage: The Switch The Switch has the ability to swap any two placements on the totem pole. They could swap themselves or an ally out of the bottom, or respect the nominations.The Switch is chosen by the houseguests that were eliminated the week before, except for the first round, which the houseguests will vote for the switch.

The Fourth Stage: The Defender Remember how I said the person at the very bottom is in immediate danger?  Well here it is. In this stage, the bottom of the totem pole must choose another player to become their defender. The player they choose will then have to privately decide between saving the bottom, or taking power.

If they save the bottom player, they are spared from immediate elimination BUT, a twist will be unleashed on the game that will result in a player leaving.  

If they choose power, the bottom player is immediately eliminated and the defender gains an advantage in the game.  

The Fifth Stage: The Vote In this stage, the house must vote a player out from the remaining bottom players. Everyone has a vote, including nominees and the top. The player with the most votes is eliminated.

Final Four At the Final Four, the winner of the TotTP competition will rank the remaining 3 players. The player ranked 4th will be eliminated and the final 3 will proceed to Jury Questioning.

Advantage and Expose Cards They are exactly how they sound! There will be chances to gain an advantage, or the ability to expose, but there will be more information on these once we play :)

I honestly don’t know how I feel about Drew Being on the top, we’ve talked but we haven’t so really it’s a 50/50 shot that I’m on the top or in the bottom 5. The only people I feel kinda strong with are like Adam and maybe Laine and Jules? Idk Adam and I have just been going back and forth since the game began so we’re really going to have to wait and see.

Okay! So I vibe with Drew pretty well and im excited that he's the top this week! I shared with him that I would but Ben timmy and Anthony in the bottom and gave him tea that anthony made some transphobic jokes in the past but that I had no receipts. He seemed to be receptive so thats great! Besides that I really love my wap alliance with Asya juls and jonah 💓  and ive been talking to everyone trying to be as social as possible!

okay! So right now I want to remain loyal to Jonah, Juls, and Asya and try to be completely honest with them. I am almost sure I can trust them but am afraid they will see me as a threat if I tell them too much. I like making alliances and deals with everyone and that can make my true allies weary. If I tell them or not. If I tell them they might take me out later on for having reach in the house and if I dont tell them and they find out another way they won't trust me. So like what do I dooo. This is in relation to a quick little alliance me sam and William made on voice call telling each other wed keep each other safe as tops. I think ill keep it to myself for right now.

Taker of the Third Path Kickstarter Launches June 1st!

Hey everyone! B and I have been working on this for a little while and we're excited to announce that Taker of the Third Path is getting a Kickstarter campaign!

hey all! an update for anyone wondering where i've been:

a couple months ago i decided to take a step back from writing. for a while i had been taking on more than i could handle and refusing to acknowledge it, and ended up burning myself out. i ended up having to cancel my kickstarter for tottp because i knew i wouldn't be able to deliver things on the timeline i'd promised. i wasn't able to get the second half of tottp to beta readers. and while b and i are on great terms as friends (we went on a trip to canada together a few weeks ago lol) the position i'd put us in meant we had to put basically all of our collective work on hold. all in all, it really sucked for the people who very kindly supported me, and i really regret not admitting that i was struggling sooner. it's not a position i want to put anyone (including myself) in again. to anyone i disappointed who hasn't heard it yet: i'm sorry. i'm taking all the steps i can to make sure it doesn't happen again.

i'll elaborate more later because i want this to be its own post, but i'm trying to wade back into things now. slowly, because again, i don't want to fuck things up a second time. so get ready to see me around writeblr once more (and hopefully more than before? but that's a different post)

anyway, if you have questions about all this my replies/inbox/messages/etc are always open and i am generally a very open book
