It's crazy because I spent so, so, so much time being upset with you, annoyed at your blatant disregard for my conversations and your half-minded attempts to make me feel like we were going somewhere. I was upset for a while. I thought I'd always be. But that's not important anymore. Because when you find the individual willing to take on all of you, faults, perfect imperfections, and everything in between; when you realize that there is someone capable of taking the time to understand you and help you grow and grow WITH you; once you realize that there's a reason for all the growing and learning you had to do to get you to where and who you needed to, none of the missteps and disappointments will even remotely compare.
