Homelander’s Odd Obsession I HCs

You were born a decade after HL, only meant to be his younger sister and primarily as a way to ease his already budding psychotic behavior.

It failed, when they introduced you both and made the mistake of “rejecting him” which made HL attempt to kill you when you were born merely children. But he failed to do so primarily because your body was indestructible so Vought had no choice but to send you away on an alternate path.

Stan Edgar being one of the few people to save you from ending up as “bad product” decided to have you raised under a more controlled environment where the outcome is for you to become the “All-American, Feminist Hero” as a way to show the public that they can come up with the times and that even corporate America believes in the feminist movement.

In regards to your power there was two distinct things about you that separated you from HL, your body is high in zinc and essentially given the “cheat code” to already have the knowledge and fighting capabilities in martial arts this being implemented in your brain as a fetus. Two primary factors that makes HL weaker compared to you that will play a major role in your relationship to The Boys.

You grew up as an “All American Girl in middle class suburbia”; your “parents” (Vought) gave you the perfect life, you had excelled in pretty much everything, joined school events, participated in school sports, had great friends (employees of Vought) yada yada yada every aspect of your life was carefully cultivated to “perfection” for the benefit of Vought.

But what made this “unique” was Stan Edgar who had taken an interest in your growth who had acted as your school guidance counselor, who in a odd way reminded you of the Cheshire Cat.

You graduated from your high school as valedictorian at the top of your class and was “tearfully” sent off to college by Stan Edgar himself who promised that he’d be there with you every step of the way. Interesting right?.

You were soon accepted into Godolkin University with a full ride scholarship with your major being supe medical sciences.

It was then you were spotted by none other than HL himself, what had peeked his interest about you was that you had shared the same shocking blue eyes as he did and he couldn’t easily spot you because of the high amounts of zinc in your body.

But your fatal mistake is that much like the others you idolized Homelander, you aspired to be just like him and your goal was to fight crime alongside him as a member of The Seven.

So HL being well HL decided to introduce himself to you under the guise of being a mentor to which you had eagerly taken too and because of this HL was charmed by you.

He loved that you had practically worshipped the ground he walked on and listened to his every word, you were an eager protege that looked at him as though he hung the moon and stars but most importantly you were able to keep up with him in terms of power which made him even more eager to be around you.

But there was two things he couldn’t shake and that was your eye color and the high amount of zinc in your body that only a select few knew that he couldn’t see.

So he decided to “investigate” but that really meant terrorizing Ashley into giving him information and making The Deep his dumbass lap dog.

It was then he discovered that your carefully hidden file, he learned that you are his sister by blood and the purpose of your creation was that you were meant for him but had been sent off because he had tried to kill you and rather than Vought “putting you down” (which would’ve been virtually impossible) they had sent you away on a much different path.

But HL didn’t read your file as the truth he read it as Vought cruelly depriving him of the one thing he desperately wanted and that was a family so he responded in his usual fashion and imposed his will on Vought and purposing the idea of the “Superhero and spunky sidekick trope”. HL cleverly stated that by him being the strongest and choosing you as his protege will benefit Vought in two ways; 1. Your a woman and 2. He will eventually name you as leader to The Seven. Which will benefit Vought in terms of popularity polls for a multitude of reasons i.e. feminism, corporate America, yada yada yada

Stan had no choice but to not only agree with this but to finally allow you and HL to officially become apart of each other lives.

So what that means for you is that not only are you a college student but you will now also be an official member of The Seven as HL’s esteemed protege, your supe name being

“Rosa, The All American Beauty, the girl boss that can do it all!”

So once HL was able to achieve in getting what he wants, he goes to you with “grim news” but really he’s there to tell you that you will officially be a member of The Seven as his protege.

Upon hearing this news you cry happy tears thanking him for this amazing opportunity and give him a genuine hug throwing nothing but genuine praises at him.

He tries to refrain from breaking character but it’s really difficult for him at the time but after sometime he left you (regretfully) to your own devices and he totally started crying happy tears that he’s finally got what he so desperately wanted and when you had hugged him for the first time in a long time it felt like it was genuine and the affection was real and not out of fear.

God that man is touch deprived.

Even though…your entire life was built out of lies but shhhh you don’t know that YET.

Switching from an English secondary school to an American high school was not something that you could say you were actually excited for.

But yet here you are sitting in your mothers car listening to ‘Bonfire’ by Childish Gambino, trying not stress over being in a totally new environment.

“Okay, we’ve arrived.” Your mum/mom said rubbing the back of your shoulder.

“I’m gonna go now, I love you.” You sigh.

“I love you too but get your arse out this car so your not late please!”

You laugh whilst unbuckling your seatbelt and getting out of the car walking towards the entrance.

Once you enter your immediately overwhelmed with the amount of loud new accents filtering the air. I mean sure you had been in New York for a few days before being introduced to the school but that doesn’t mean you were used to the variety of accents.

Making your way towards the principals office you ended up lost and having to scout the help of one your new peers.

Looking to your left you spot a fairly handsome guy with two cainrows/cornrows going down his neck, sharp jaw, and very plumed lips.

Damn, guess NYC ain’t that bad after all.

Tapping his shoulder you timidly ask “Sorry to disturb you but do you think your could show me to the principals office.”

He looked you up and down for a good thirty seconds before his focus finally set on your face.

“Huh, you sound British.”

“I mean I am from London.” You deadpan.

“Sure I’ll take you, c’mon.”

He takes off swiftly leaving you trailing behind him.

Once you finally reach the principals office

he stops and looks you dead in the eye tilting his head which ultimately makes you cast your gaze down to the floor.

“I’m Miles but I never caught your name.”

You look up and end up locking eyes.

“I’m Y/N” You smile downward.

“We’ll Y/N ion know much about British people but I hope we can get to know each other a bit more…”

And with that he walked away leaving you at the door of the principal.

Now all you have to is KNOCK.

Getting halfway through the day was particularly easy except from the bombardment of questions from people you don’t even know.

Asking things about Britain like you were the Queen (R.I.P Queen Lizzy) It was like they had never heard of Google before.

Fortunately a group of girls adopted you into their circle and you were currently sitting with them at lunch.

“So how’s your day been except y’know all the weird questions?” One girl asks with a chuckle.

“We’ll it’s been a bit annoying relearning the stuff I’ve already done which by the way don’t you think it’s a bit weird that you guys do algebra for like a whole year. In England once we finish a topic we move onto the next.” You ramble with a sigh.

“Eh I mean I guess but it’s not anything new for us. Anyways since being here, have you caught your eye on anyone yet?” Another girl answers and questions.

“We’ll there was this one guy but I haven’t spotted him again since he dropped me off at the Principal’s.”

Some girls squeal in excitement at a new potential crush to gossip about.

“He was quite fit actually and he had these two braids going down. He gave a really good conversation on the way their actually.” You finish off going back to your food nonchalantly.

There must be a shift in the air because the table of girls stopped talking until someone pipes up.

“Your not talking ‘bout Miles Morales are you?!” She squeaks with widened eyes.

“We’ll yeah he said his name was Miles but he didn’t give his surname/lastname.”You start to nod.

“No way! Girls have been trying to get with him ever since we got to the school but he’s always cold and quiet around people who aren’t his friends. Girl you are so lucky.” She blurts out.

“We’ll I’m sure he was just being nice, I mean I am new.” You defend.

And with that Miles Morales walks past your table trailing behind his friends he gives a smirk and waves towards you.

Yeah, I guess you are lucky…very lucky!

I am working on a 50s Diner/Greaser AU one shot fanfic with Medic / Scout / Engineer. (I don't know if they have a official shipping name but I shall call it Defibrillator, I won't explain why) I drew these a while ago for Appeypie's DTIYS and based the visual inspiration on it. Greaser Medic has my heart. There's gonna be NSFW so be warned. Here is an excerpt from what I wrote. I will post the full fanfic on Ao3 when it's finished. The title will be: Milkshakes n' Motorbikes (Alternate title: Fries n' Fucks) Blurb: Usually all Henry cares about is his hair, his grooves and pretty ladies, but when he falls head over heels for a handsome waiter at his regular diner, his world turns upside down. It doesn’t take long before he tries to hook-up with him. If only his roommate wasn’t such a fucking moodkill. Guess, he has to make up for it somehow.

All in all, working as a carhop at a drive-thru diner definitely had it’s perks. On a Saturday like this, Jamie made good money simply by having a pretty face. It was fun, gliding around on his roller skates with a tray in each hand, and being able to show off. Sometimes people handed him five dollar bills to do a spin or a flip. Many girls left him large tips to flirt with him, while men usually whistled at his rather skimpy uniform and honked their horns as they passed him. He knew it was meant as a joke most of the time, but admittedly he liked the attention.

There was one particular guy, a regular, who stopped by almost daily. Jamie knew his order by heart. Large fries, an American burger and a chocolate shake with a cherry on top. His name was Henry and he was your typical leatherjacket wearing, cigarette smoking greaser. A total bad boy. Normally, Jamie tried to stay away from guys like that but he seemed genuinely interested. Whenever he came to his window, he slipped a note into his pocket. Little messages scribbled on napkins, asking for his phone number and if he wanted to go on a date. It was cute and romantic and undeniably gave him butterflies. That’s why he had agreed to meet up with him several times over the past few weeks or so. Of course, it didn’t take long before they started going out. During his break they made-out behind the dumpsters, before Jamie had to get back to work. It always left him hungry for more. Just thinking about how he would shove his hands under his apron and pull his pants down, made him blush. Today, Henry would pick him up with his car - a baby blue Volkswagen with red padding and a convertible sunroof. He seriously couldn’t wait for his shift to end. Henry had invited him over to his house to watch a movie. They would cuddle up under a big blanket and kiss and afterwards, who knows. Perhaps it was time for the next step.

Fifteen minutes later, he heard a roaring engine on the parking lot in front of the diner. That was his sign to come out. He grabbed his things and pulled up to the car window with a cheeky smile.

“Welcome to Fried Batter. Can I take your order?”, he said in his best waiter-voice.

Henry played along. “I would like your hottest chick, please.”, he winked.

“Coming right up.”

With a click the door opened and Jamie climbed onto his seat, giggling. As soon as he was buckled in, Henry revved the engine once more and cut the corner with spinning tires. On the way home he rolled down the windows and blasted loud rock music through the radio. They sang along and laughed and when they finally backed into the small open space of a workshop Jamie could barely contain his excitement. Henry stopped to look at him and put a hand on his inner thigh, brushing against his soft, exposed skin with the tips of his fingers.

“Here we are.”

I know I have not updated in nearly a week, but it has been very busy around here! I have started volunteering at the mission for seven total hours on Fridays and Saturdays and then yesterday, we have our church Bible Study group that started up again after the morning service and I had my first meeting for the volunteer leadership program that I'm participating in. Everyone is so wonderful, and I think I am going to really enjoy being a part of this team!

School work is picking up as well, so I am spending some time on the weekend doing extra studying. This upcoming weekend will be wonderful though. I won't be volunteering on Saturday or going to dance because our Girl Scout troop is having an outing. It is a two hour or so drive to get where we are going. It's sort of a kick off to the year, even though the new troop year doesn't start until October. The rest of this month, we'll be meeting on Sundays in order to do our planning for the upcoming year, at least us older girls, and to kick off the year with the whole troop and our families.

Next week, I also start volunteering at the library again for two hours a week. It doesn't seem like much, but the hours add up and we do a lot of good work for the community during that time. That will be nine volunteer hours total each week plus two or more extra hours once or twice a month for the volunteer leadership program.

Needless to say, this year is off to an incredible start! I would love to post every day again like I had been doing, but my goal is only twice a week. As long as I stick to that, it will be okay, but I will post as often as I am able to above that as well.

here’s the line up! i kinda forgot everyone’s exact ages. i’m going to go ahead and say the characters are in 3rd-5th grade right now. also isn’t elionor one of the oldest champions?? uhhh idk

additional headcanons:

we all know Reid is a huge nerd. he probably leaned into the nerdy-ness a lot as a kid. this kid wore starwars shirts every day. also glasses, (i believe this is canon)

Isobel was actually rather quiet as a kid. she preferred books over people, and liked talking to adults more than kids her age. she was still exceptionally clever and motivated, but she didn’t really learn how to be sharp-tongued and ambitious until she befriended Briony. she owes her people skills that got her through the months before the tournament and all the reporters to her best friend. 

Briony basically coerced Isobel into joining a thing called spell scouts. think like boy scouts or girl scouts or any other youth program but for a magickal world. things like nature and survival skills were taught, but also the basics of spellcrafting and ethics of spell using. (just imagine them in their little uniforms)

Finley was pretty athletic and played a few sports, but didn’t fancy working with a whole team. he attempted junior league soccer (wait… football??? i am american help) but found that he preferred scoring points for his team rather than with his team. he did summer swim at first and running, but wouldn’t discover fencing until he was older (i believe he is the team captain in high school) oh, he also totally did summer theater camps. 

Alistair TOTALLY had a bowl cut. unfortunately, he has curly hair. Marianne Lowe thought his curly hair (which he inherited from his father, whoever that could be) was unbecoming for an eventual Lowe champion, so Alistair’s mother would have to magickally get it to stay straight every day. this is part of why Al lacks freckles— whenever Al went outside, humidity would turn it back into a curly mess. so, under Marianne’s instructions, he just never went outside. he later stopped straightening his hair (and outgrew the bowl cut thank god) but the habit of staying indoors stayed with him. 

Elionor experimented with dying the ends of her hair when she was younger. the blues and pinks never really showed through because her hair was brown, but she liked it, so that’s all that really mattered. she also wrote fanfiction and posted it to online forums despite technically not being old enough to use them.

after losing their father and having their mother leave them, it was hard for Briony and Innes to feel noticed within the large Thorburn family. they went about trying to feel accepted in different ways. Briony, obviously, was loud and learned to announce her presence to feel heard. Innes preferred a more subtle approach, learning a particular relative’s interests and schedules to find a way to slowly do little things to win them over. stuff like doing their chores or completing their hair. 

Carby was like… basically a baby at this point. so… [insert toddler personality trait here]

Diya definitely did extracurriculars at school. she won the spell fair (like the science fair but… y’know… spells) three years in a row and was a member of the book club that included a tournament with other schools at the end of the school year (which she won, duh) she was pretty competitive with it, too. 

Gavin… thinking about his childhood makes me so not ok. he realized pretty early on he was basically a sacrifice to a tournament his family would never win. Gavin knew about the tournament, and realized he would be the champion, and had always seen how distant his parents were, but didn’t realize what that really meant until a bit later.

Joaquín Gracia Anadón - This story begins with Joaquín Gracia Anadón's father, Pablo Gracia González, little is known about him, but he died when he was 20 years old, leaving a young wife and a baby boy who was Joaquín Gracia Anadón, aged only one year and a half. Joaquín Gracia Anadón was a very smart and clever man, he worked as primary school teacher, secretary of the Peace Court, official and Secretary of the Town Hall in Garafía but in 1884, when he was 43 years old he was processed and sentenced to prison for a fire in Garafía's Town Hall. He served the entire sentence in prison and was released after 16 years and 7 months, in july 1900. He claimed always his innocence and in 2005, after a long investigation by his great granddaughter Pilar Cabrera Pombrol, his innocence was proven and the autorithies had to apologize to the family. He passed away in 1913 at 71 years old.

Isidoro Gracia García - He was born in 1873 and was the eldest of Joaquín Gracia Anadón's children. When he was ten years old he was subjected to a judicial interrogation, today totally unlawful, regarding the fire at the Garafía Town Hall, the charges for which had been brought against his father. This is, unfortunately, the manifestation of a minor, without procedural guarantees, which was included in the sentence and which should have marked Isidoro Gracia García for life. He settled in Baraona in 1904 as a very creditable merchant. He dedicated himself to the prosperous textile business and the export of guayacán wood. His final residence in the Dominican Republic must have been influenced by the advice of his father, who had known first-hand the possibilities of the Latin American country when he was young. His business capacity and human abilities earned him the appointment by the then Minister of State (today, Minister of Foreign Affairs) as honorary vice-consul, upon request of the Royal Consulate of Spain in the country. He died in 1933 in Barahona at 60 years old.

Gaudencia Gracia García - She was the youngest child of Joaquín Gracia Anadón who lived until adulthood as she had a younger brother, Agustín, who died when he was very young. She was born the 12th February 1882. She married José Pedro Pombrol Hernández and had eight kids: María Adoración, Araceli, José Antonio, Gaudencia, Enrique, María del Pilar, Mario and Antonina "Nina" Pombrol Gracia. She passed away in 1921 aged 39.

Isidoro Gracia Vidal - He was Isidoro's Gracia García eldest son and he was born in 1911 and passed away in 1956 at 45 years old leaving a fatherless girl who was only five years old.

Maria Montez - She was Isidoro's Gracia García's first daughter and was called María África for his dad's Country of Origin - The Canary Islands belong to Spain but are located next to Africa - . She was born in 1912. Since her childhood, María was different from other girls and boys her age, she created her own theater stages, and always said from a very young age that she would succeed in the world of cinema. Many children made fun of her for what she said, Maria then complained to her mother that others laughed at her but her mother encouraged her to go ahead, so she would sit under the palm trees and do her plays. On June 3, 1939, Maria arrived in NY for the first time. At that time it was very difficult to climb positions, especially if you came from the rural world. She used the resource of provocation to be able to do it. She not only used her beauty, but also her intelligence. She decided to go scouting, hired two designers to make her the most spectacular dresses ever seen. She begins to frequent night clubs and doesn’t go unnoticed so she begins to appear in the press. In July 1940 she arrived in Hollywood, there she changed her name (until then she was called Marie McFeeters) and also completely reinvented herself. After a successful carreer in Hollywood, she decided to travel to Europe to make some dramatic roles and she was receiveng very good reviews from the chritics and the public. Sadly, she passed away in 1951 at 39 years old leaving a motherless girl aged five...

Adita Gracia Vidal - She was María's younger sister and was born in 1924. Although María put big efforts in her younger sisters to succeed as actresses, they prefered a more classic way of life. In 1949 Maria with her husband and daughter left Hollywood to live in France, Adita went to live with them and so did Teresita. Is not known if Adita ever married or had children. At the time of María’s passing (1951) she was an unmarried woman and María gave her a big sum of money from her will as a way to protect her. Then Adita went to live with Consuelo and her family in Southern California. She passed away at 69 on 8th February 1993.

Lucita Gracia Vidal - She was María and Adita's younger sister, she was born in 1926. Lucita married Frech photo-journalist Jean Roy the 12th April 1946 and had three children: Yves, Jean-Pierre and Marcos. Jean Roy's real name was Yves Leleu and was a war photo-journalist. He was killed in Egypt on an assigment in 1956. Lucita was a young mother with three little kids on her own. She never remarried. Lucita passed away in 1979 in Paris at 53 years old due to cancer.

Jaime Gracia Vidal - He was María, Adita and Lucita's youngest brother and was born in 1927. In 1954, when he was 26 years old, he went to Hollywood to start a career was an actor and with his tall height and green eyes, he was quite a sensation there. After trying luck in Hollywood he went to the US Army and fought in Corean war and ended up having the grade of Sergeant. Regarding his personal life, he dated Merle Oberon while in Hollywood but later married Rosmery Didonato from whom had his only child Jimmy. They eventually separated. In 1977 he married again with Janet González in Santo Domingo. He died at 51 of a heart attack in 31st May 1979.

Teresita Gracia Vidal - She was María's youngest sister, born in 1929 or 1930. Teresita began her modelling in 1949 in France after taking modelling lessons. The photographers who mainly worked with her were Willy Maywald and Georges Saad and she was regularly seen in fashion spreads in magazines like L'Officiel, L'Art et la Mode and Vogue. She usually modelled Jacques Heim designs. She had a very successful carrer as a model in the 50s. In the early 50s, Teresita and Yves Manuel started dating and by February 1952 they got married and years later, by 1956/57 they had their daughter Raïna Manuel Paris Gracia. By 1959 Teresita had a strong and passionate relationship with Italian actor Maurizio Arena that meant the ending of her marriage with Yves Manuel and she settled in Rome as some italian producers spotted her, sadly, her relationship with Maurizio Arena didn’t last as he fooled her. Teresita passed away on January 17th 2023 at 93 years old.

Tina Aumont Gracia - She was María Montez only daughter. She was born in 1946 and when she was only five years old she lost her mum. She lived with her father and aunties but when he married Italian actress Marisa Pavan, aunties and uncles had to flee the house. The relationshio she had with her step-mother was very difficult and at the time she was 17, she married a friend of her dad just to get away from that crazy house. In 1964 a stillborn girl was born. One year later she separated Christian Marquand and went to live with Frédéric Pardo, the love of her life according to their closest friends. After breaking up in 1972, Tina started to use hard drugs and she became hooked to heroin. Although she had great success in cinema, by March/April 1978 Tina travelled to Thailand and send back to home two deities statues filled with opium, Frabrizio Lori received the statues at home and went directly to jail although he didn’t knew a thing. That meant the end of their relationship. Tina was arrested in Italy, and charged with illegal importation of 400 grams of opium. She was eventually sentenced to three years imprisonment, which she managed to reduce on appeal to nine months. Then she was banned from Italy, her country of adoption. Leaving Italy had broken her heart. She moved back to France. In the mid 80s her lifestyle was of partying everynight with her fiend Alain Pacadis and with her partner in crime actor Jean-François Ferriol who she married in January 1985. In the late 1990s Tina couln’t afford pretty much. After her glory days, her father’s heritage was in the hands of her stepmother and she was reduced to living in a minuscule apartment located in a modest Parisian quarter full of penniless immigrants, and the rent was paid by the city’s social services. In the year 2000 Tina’s health was failing as she suffered from a major stroke and had to live with medication for her lungs although she never gave-up smoking. She eventually cut loose from the metropolis and settled in Port-Vendres near the Catalunyan border. After a quiet couple of years she died in her sleep at home in late 2006. She was 60 years old.

María Montez Gracia Fiallo - She was born in 1951, two weeks after her famous auntie's passing, that's why she was called María Montez as name. Her dad Isidoro, passed away in 1956 when she was 5 years old, just as her cousin Tina. Since she was a little girl, María Montez Gracia Fiallo showed she had talent for performing. As a teenager, she earned a scolarship from the Fundación de Crédito Educativo, and with it she was able to travel to Madrid, Spain, in order to study dramatic art. She moved with her mother Safo. Later, she appeared in Spanish TV shows and films, and she was also very active in theatre for many years there too. Maria also starred in international productions from films, TV and the stage from the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany and France. For years she was part of the Roy Hart Theatre company in London. She stopped her artistic career when she was expecting her first child, daughter Desiree D'Alessandro, who was born with down syndrome, and two years later she had a son, Ricardo D'Alessandro. She lives in Dominican Republic.

Raïna Manuel-Paris Gracia - She is Teresita's only child and she was born between 1956 and 1959. Her parents divorced when she was little. Fairy tales and Legends were her refuges. They helped her understand the difficulties of her childhood. By the age of twelve, she had read most of the myths and legends of the world. From Ireland and Russia to Arabia. Her love of transformational story telling has taken her from an MFA in Film from Columbia University to a Ph.D. in Mythological studies and Depth Psychology. She is a published writer of non-fiction, poetry, and several scholarly articles, as well as a documentary filmmaker. Her understanding of what gives meaning to daily life has led her to her work with dreams, and to include meditation practice in her classrooms. She is a lecturer and scholar who speaks on several subjects. Nowadays, she lives in Ojai, California with her husky mix Numen and her horse Quincy.

The show opens up with Jin sitting at a table, looking like a news broadcaster.

"Hello, I'm VJ Bangtan Commando's MC Jin! In the year 2013, BTS who's hit the idol industry like a comet with their likable looks and overpowering charisma, they've received a lot of love. The things that have not been revealed till now, the 8 members' private dorm life and Bangtan's

Flavor House. Also the activities in the practice studio. We the VJ Bangtan Commandos have it all covered. Let's take a look together!" He smiled

As the show continues, they reveal the inside of BTS' dorm as the members are still asleep.

'2013 Music industry, BTS is here to take over! The name that you won't forget after the first hearing, BTS! Today we're going into their daily lives. The members who are flustered at the camera's intrusion! Inevitably their sleepyselves and even bare faces are all revealed. The practice studio overwhelmed with manly scents along with Jennie's perfume and up till a fansign session's venue! Bangtan's 24-hour daily life, follow me'

'We're finally here, this is none other than BTS' home sweet home!'

The camera pans down to the shoes of the boys of BTS.

'It cannot be unseen the smell from men's passion! We wonder how Miss Bangtan deals with the smell'

The cameras head into the dining room where they see Jennie in a pair of yellow baby duck pajamas, eating some eggs for breakfast. Barefaced with a little bit of acne and her hair in a messy bun, she was wide awake, playing a game on her phone. She was oblivious to the camera crew walking in as she had her headphones in, listening to music.

A few moments later she senses movement from the corner of her eye and looks up, to see the camera crew and the manager. 

"Whoa!" She dropped her phone on her eggs and fell out of her seat.

She's left with chuckles as the manager helps her up. "Thank you. What in the world is going on? Darn it, my phone." She took her phone off her eggs as the manager explained why the camera crew was there.

"O-oh." She replied with her face heating up from embarrassment. She turned to the camera and waved. "Hi! Yeah, I totally need to get used to this. Hey, how ya doing guys?" 

She bowed. "I'm Bangtan member Jennie. The first African-American female in a boy K-Pop group. It's really humbling. Oh, and I'm way cooler than the rest of them just to let you know. Me falling was my awesome entrance. I have my own room. Smaller than the others, but it's perfectly fine. The rest of the guys gotta share. It's pretty nice to just have girl time by myse-"

She's cut off as she suddenly trips over pairs of shoes in the hallway. 

"UN-believable!" She exclaimed and started cleaning up their shoes. "Being in a household with seven guys...I'll never get used to it."

"Do you usually wake up early?" The camera crew asked her.

"Yep! I love mornings. I'm a morning person."

'While Miss Bangtan tries to calm herself down and get ready for the day, we continue to look at the identifiable ornaments to possessions of teen boys laid all around. Taking a look at their basic necessities. All the chicken breast meat kept neatly in the fridge! Ah Hyung's crying...crying!!'

As the camera crew heads into BTS' bedroom, Jennie finishes eating and continues getting ready for the day. She heads into the closet to see Tae putting on his shirt backward.

'Excuse me Tae Teacher, you've worn your shirt inside out'

"Dude, your shirt is backward." She laughed. Tae grinned cheekily as she fixed his shirt.

'Jennie to the rescue!'

After BTS and Jennie finish getting ready, they head out for the day.

'Wherever they are Bangtan's contagious happiness, they all look excited'

The group happily stepped into their favorite restaurant and sat down at the table. 

"You sure you're not full? I can eat your food for you!" Jungkook offered with a grin, hoping she'd say yes.

"Ha! Ha! Ha! Nope! You're not taking my food like you did last time!" She accused

"Wha? I did no such thing!" He tried to look innocent, playing off a confused facial expression.

"Jungkook took all her food when she went to the bathroom," J-Hope explained to the camera.

"Jimin helped me!" Jungkook admitted.

"I did not!" Jimin stammered 

"Ha! You just ratted yourself out!" Jennie pointed at him. "So it WAS you." She crossed her arms and shook her head.

After they get settled down, Rapmon is asked why they come to this particular restaurant. "We've been coming here to eat ever since we were trainees and also since the basement floor is our practice studio. So while going to the practice studio when we have to eat, the aunt here takes such good care of us. Even during our breaks at least 2 of our meals in a day would be eaten here."

"Her cooking reminds me of being home with my mom. It's so good! As soon as I came to Seoul and met BTS, Rap Monster immediately took me there. I always look forward to eating here." Jennie addressed.

After their meal, the rest of their day consisted of practicing in the practice studio, and then the fan meeting in Gwangju, J-Hope's hometown for a fan sign. They took their seats at the fan sign, Jennie looked in awe at the very excited fans while sitting in between J-Hope and V.

"Whoa." She murmured looking at all the Jennie fansigns. 

This was something she'd never get used to. They were all so decorated and had so many hearts. She was happy with the support BTS was getting.

'Fans who are happy seeing oppas and Jagi, Bangtan too are excited to receive all the support'

There were male fans there too, especially there to see Jennie, giving her cute gifts and shyly confessing their crushes on her, making her face heat up. She received tons of cute presents from the fans. They even got her the Smarties candies from America which shocked her the most as she told them it's her favorite type of candy. They let her know that they paid attention to some of the photos she would post on BTS' Twitter and would always see Smarties with her. 

"NO WAY!" She squealed in excitement at the smarties. "Thank you so much!"

She loved the chalky colorful tablets. She could never get enough and if she could get sponsored by them, she would.

"We're gonna have a very hyper Jennie later on tonight." Jin sighed.

"Yay! I love hyper Jennie! I can't wait to see it!" J-Hope encouraged.

"Meeting your fans like this today, how are you feeling?" The camera crew asked after the fan meet.

"Y'know I still can't believe it. People really are interested in BTS and people here actually take interest in me. The amount of support they give us is so amazing. It's hot as fudge but seeing our fans today even in this hot weather was so worth it."

'Bangtan Secret Camera'

'8:00PM SangAmDong SBS Prism Tower'

BTS and Jennie were being informed by the fake writer, what their filming was about. They were told to film in an elevator and it has a camera on the top. Meanwhile, BTS was on standby with no idea what was to come. First up was Jimin then it was Jin, V, Jungkook, and Rap Monster.

"Jennifer." Her name was called as she looked up at the producer. "You're up."

She happily stood up. "Let's go!" She gave the camera a thumbs up and went into the elevator.

As soon as it closed, she started to ponder. "Let's see...what should I do?"

She starts goofing off by doing jumping jacks and shadow boxing. 

"Here is your winner! And new champion~ Jennie! Woo hoo!" She cheered and began doing the Gangnam Style dance to celebrate.

'Jin was right. Jennie had too many smarties and began to act hyper. If only J-Hope was here to see this.'

In addition to her hype nature, she began to beatbox 50 Cent's In Da Club, rocking back and forth, preparing the rap. "Go, go, go, go, go, go. Go shawty, it's ya birthday, we're gonna party like it's ya birthday, we gon' sip Bacardi like it's ya birthday."

'This sugar rush is intense'

Afterward, she pretended to have a hat on as she attempted to moonwalk and dance like Michael Jackson, singing Billie Jean. At one point she ended up kicking out her leg and accidentally kicked the elevator. 

"Whoops." She grins sheepishly at the camera.

Afterward, she starts doing the Carlton dance with a goofy smile on her face. She was so into the dance she didn't hear the elevator ding and open, stopping on the 6th floor. As soon as a cute guy begins walking in on the phone, she shrieks, tripping on her feet and falling on the floor.

The guy had to contain his laughter as she scrambled up to her feet and fixed her hair before clearing her throat. Face heated, she backs up to the corner, with her head down in embarrassment.

Meanwhile, the guy presses all the buttons before standing across from her in the back of the elevator. 

"You're breaking up with me?" The guy asked in shock as Jennie looked up to see him looking troubled on the phone. "Please don't do this, Jagi..." He let out a breath and hung up, looking sad

'Awkward...' She mouthed to the camera, looking up at it. 

She did feel bad for the guy, getting broken up over the phone. She raised her head to see the guy looking at her as she shot her face down to her feet again, flustered. She let out a nervous laugh. 

Suddenly a whole group of people rush in, crowding the elevator as the cute guy gets extremely close to her as they're chest to chest.

'Oh-my God.' She mouthed to the camera on top of the elevator. 'HELP-ME'

She turns her head to the side and fails to move around thanks to everyone crowding her way. She squeezes her eyes shut to try to get away from the awkwardness but with no avail as she opens her eyes, looking down to the side.

As soon as they reach the 15th floor, everyone gets out and she sighs out of relief. But suddenly, she hears them say, "You've been pranked."

"Wh-what?! SERIOUSLY!?" She screamed as everyone started laughing while the door closed. "That was so embarrassing! GAH!" She groaned and ran her hands through her hair.

On the 12th floor, everyone was waiting for her as they applauded her and laughed at her reaction.

"You guys are so mean!" She laughed and stumbled out of the elevator. "THAT was so embarrassing!" She fanned herself to get rid of the heat she was feeling all over her body.

"The girl suddenly came on the 6th floor, too?" Rap Monster asked.

"No, it was a guy. He was so close, man. I couldn't even say anything, I was so flustered."

She turned to the camera. "I was so shocked, but that was really fun."

'King/Queen of the end plate'

"BTS, I welcome you to King/Queen of the end plate." The manager said as everyone clapped

'A game that tests their luck! King/Queen of the end plate is starting!'

"I wonder who will be the king. Or if Jennie will be the Queen." J-Hope pondered

'BTS, King/Queen of the end plate. Testing their luck with cards.'

'1. From all the 8 cards, only one is the King's/Queen's. If the King's/Queen's card is pulled out, he/she is exempted from all the punishments.'

'2. For the rest of the members, they'll get 6 safe cards and one skull card.'

'The member who turns the skull cards and pulls them out will win the penalties!'

'The fate game that can test the member's luck will start now'

"Hello, I'm Rap Monster who today, luckily took over Bangtan's good luck." He said as he sat in the middle. Jennie sat in between J-Hope and Suga. "BTS' sauna rally will start now!" He announced as everyone woo'ed and applauded.

'STAGE 1'

"One. Two. Three." Rap Monster opened up the box. 

'Flick without moving the body.' 

"I know some people who have been practicing their flicks." he pointed out.

"Last time I received one from Jimin on the hand," J-Hope said. "My hand was burning."

Rapmon distributed the cards as everyone eagerly awaited his countdown, putting their cards face down on the mat.

"One, two, three!" He yelled as everyone flipped over their cards, revealing Jimin having the Skull Card.

Loud cheers and yells were heard as Jimin started freaking out that he got caught. Suga began happily dancing goofily while Jennie high fives J-Hope and Jungkook. Jimin whined in despair, still in disbelief.

"V will be the one who will do it," J-Hope announced as Jimin got on his back in the middle, getting held down.

"How much have I taken care of you!" Jimin exclaimed to V. 

All of a sudden V flicked him on the forehead as a chorus of ohs surround him. He sits up and places his hand on his forehead to get rid of the stinging sensation.

"He hit him without any hesitation." Rap Monster said in awe

They placed Jimin back down again as J-Hope mimicked an elbow drop, frightening him as he laughed.

"Since it's the warm up round I'll go easy on you." J-Hope decided and flicked him on the forehead.

"Tears have started to appear in Jimin's eyes!"

Jennie's muffled laughs were heard as she tried to cover her mouth.

"How many people are left?" Jimin exclaimed as he was held back down. 

Suga flicked his forehead as a clear sound was heard. Jimin quickly sat up, holding his forehead in pain.

"Woo! That was a good one!" Miss Bangtan high fived Suga.

'STAGE 2'

'Raw egg? Boiled egg? Between 7 boiled eggs, which one is the raw egg?'

They choose cards again before flipping them over, revealing Jin having the skull. Jin is laid on his back while everyone else has their eggs. 

Jimin is the first one to smack the egg on Jin's forehead but Jin hesitates. "Wait a bit, wait a bit, why do you hit me like that? H-here...hit sideways, sideways!"

Jimin started practicing his egg smashing at a crazy speed, making everyone chuckle. 

"I'm really scared, really." Jin admited. "Just do it fast."

Jimin smashed the egg on his forehead but it turns out it was raw. J-hope and V go next and it was the same result. Then it was Miss Bangtan's turn as she kneeled before Jin.

"Jin, are you still going to make those cookies for me?" She grinned, before moving some hair from his forehead. 

Earlier today after practice, Jin mentioned he was in the mood for baking and wanted to bake some cookies. Jennie requested him to make sugar cookies.

"I dunno, do you have the raw egg?" He questioned, looking up at her.

"Maybe. Maybe not." 

"If you have the raw egg, I'm not making you cookies. I refuse to reward you cookies if you hit me with a raw egg." He scolded.

"Can I have her cookies then?!" Jungkook raised his hand, earning giggles from the guys.

"Wha-are you-NO!" She stammered to Jungkook before turning back to Jin. "That's it, you asked for it! HIII-YAAA!" She yelled and smashed the egg on his forehead, making a clear and loud smacking noise.

"Yikes!" Rap Monster said with shock. "She packs a punch."

"Nice hit!" J-Hope praised.

"Just as expected from Miss Bangtan." Jimin cheered.

"Oh great, it's boiled. I can get my cookies." Jennie clapped for herself.

"No cookies for you." Jin declared.

"I will get my cookies!" She replied with a huff.

After J-Hope, and V went, it was Jungkook's turn. "Do you have any displeasure against Jin-ssi?" Rap Monster asked.

"He orders Jennie and I around a lot!" Jungkook replied, earning laughs from everyone.

"Oh yeah, he really does. I smacked him good, though! I just...really want my cookies." Jennie responded

"Well of course the oldest one orders the youngest ones around a lot!" Rap Monster replied.

As soon as Jungkook smacks Jin with the egg, it breaks, turning out to be raw as everyone gets hyped, happy that it finally broke. Jin slowly stood up, with a red forehead.

"What is this?" He asked the camera crew.

'Jin is still handsome-Jin even after hit with raw egg'

'STAGE 3'

'Bangtan's Sikhye drink king/queen!'

"What's sikhye?" Jennie asked the guys, still getting used to Korean food.

"It's a sweet rice drink. The staff seemed to have prepared Sikhye for one of us. I actually accidentally drank some of it before we started this and I spat it out immediately." she was told

"Oh dear..." She cringed. "I don't trust it! Please don't let it be me!"

"The sihkye has of course, sikhye, a little bit of vinegar and salt." Rap Monster informed as Jennie widened her eyes, looking at him like his crazy.

"Heck no! Oh my gosh, PLEASE don't make me have the skull card this time." She groaned

Everyone gets their card and they flip it over, revealing Jimin again with the skull card as he jumps away, landing on his back. 

"WOO!" Jennie happily cheered with the rest of the guys, raising her hands in the air. "Thank ya, Jesus!"

Jimin started bowing on the mat, mentally preparing for his fate as the guys started singing 'A-PINK's NoNoNo' to him, making Jennie giggle. J-Hope sniffed the cup of Sihkye that Jimin had to drink and immediately made a face of disgust, handing it to him.

Jimin held his nose and took a big gulp before coughing and placing his head down.

'STAGE 4'

'Acupressure massage'

'Acupressure massage in order to loosen BTS' knotted muscles'

"The people who haven't received it don't know how much it hurts," Jimin replied

Everyone gathers their cards and quickly flips them over, revealing Suga who has the card. 

"Oh no, Suga!" Jennie laughed

A woman comes over and begins her acupressure massage on Suga as he yells in pain, groaning out how much it hurts while the guys clap and fail to suppress their laughs. Jennie looks on in amusement. After the massage was done, everyone gathered back for the next stage, before questioning how the massage could be the 4th stage. 

"You all...it looked like it didn't hurt right? It re-ally hurts." Suga stressed

"Your face has gone white." J-Hope pointed out.

"Yeah, I've been noticing that ever since the massage. You okay Suga?" Jennie asked, suppressing a chuckle.

"Do I look O-K to you?" He halfheartedly glared at her, earning a giggle from her.

'STAGE 5'

'Makeup.'

'The members will do your makeup and convert you into a beauty!'

"I'll have a blast if Jennie gets this one." Jimin teased, thinking of some evil tricks in mind for her.

"HA! HA! HA! NO!" She replied, earning a giggle from him. "I'm looking forward to a second Miss Bangtan that I can makeover. Is it you Jimin? I'll happily do your makeup for you."

"HA! HA! HA! NO!" He mocked her.

Everyone gathers their cards and flips them over to reveal Suga again, who cringes while everyone else whoops and celebrates.

'Suga is the king for the 2nd time!'

"Why is it me again?" Suga questioned before laying down on his back while V began placing makeup on his face. 

Then the rest of the members add on. Jennie decides to draw smiley faces with the black eyeliner on his nose, sides of his cheeks and chin. Then she writes, 'Jennie is awesome' on top of his forehead, making the guys snicker.

"Jennie...what-are you-doing to my face?" Suga questioned in his deep voice.

"Oh, nothing...just making you beautiful." She replied with a bright smile.

"I'm going to kill you if I see what I think I know you're drawing." He playfully threatened her.

J-Hope and Jimin gasped loudly and grabbed onto Jennie, hugging her. 

"You can't hurt our Jennie! She's our precious little Miss Bangtan! Don't worry, we'll save you from Suga's wrath!" J-Hope reassured with a smile.

Suga couldn't help but smirk, already plotting revenge. "No, they won't. Be on your toes, Smartie." He teased.

"Ooh, I'm so scared. Nice try Suga. I'm not falling for it." She remained unfazed.

Jimin places lipstick on Suga while everyone tells him how pretty he looks. After his makeup was done, Suga got up to everyone laughing and applauding. He stands to see what his face looks like and stumbles back in shock.

"Whoa! What is this!? What!?" He exclaimed. "I feel like I've become a newlywed bride. Prettier than Jennie."

"Oh~ Jennie has some competition." Rap Monster pointed out.

"Really?" She deadpanned

STAGE 6'

'Chili Horseradish'

'The one who receives the punishment has to eat the eggs with the horseradish the staff has prepared.'

"Gross!" Jennie sticks out her tongue while everyone asks why this a punishment. "I would like to live today, please!" She pleads to the producers with the guys.

Everyone flips open their cards to reveal Suga again as he starts laughing while everyone else celebrates. 

"WOO HOO! Triple King! Snooze you lose buddy! HA!" She pumped her fist up in the air.

"Guys I've received the triple crown...this is definitely set up between the writers and Rap Mon."

Suga accused. "This is a conspiracy!"

V places the chili horseradish right in Suga's mouth. He reluctantly chews it and starts cringing and laughing because of the salt while the rest of the guys celebrate because they weren't forced to eat it. Meanwhile, Suga begins to tear up.

"Poor Suga." Jennie patted him on the back.

'STAGE 7'

'Ai! It's hot.'

Everyone flips over their card to reveal Jungkook getting the skull card and everyone gets hyped.

"AHHHH!"

"Golden maknae~ golden maknae~" The guys stood up and started dancing around while Jennie jumped up and down.

"AWE YEAH! I didn't get chosen at all! Beginner's luck!" She danced around with J-Hope.

The final punishment was Jungkook wearing multiple layers of clothing, including a Santa hat, and eating hot ramen in the charcoal sauna room. Jennie approached Jungkook after he was prepped.

"Jungkook I just want to say it was nice knowing you." Jennie addresses with a sad smile.

"Does it end like this? It was nice knowing you too, Jennie. C-can I have a hug before I go?" He grinned shyly and opened up his arms.

She playfully sniffed. "I'm gonna miss you." She wrapped her arms around him, pressing her cheek against his layered chest. In return, he wrapped his arms around her for a warm, friendly hug, oblivious to the rest of BTS walking over to them.

"Ooh! Group hug!" J-Hope intervened, joining by wrapping his arms around the two, who chuckled in response. Afterward, the rest of BTS follow suit before releasing each other.

After they finish filming Jennie waits for Jungkook to get out of the sauna as he sighs out of relief.

"Hey! You're alive!" She beamed, hugging him after he took off the extra layers. "...And sweaty. Very sweaty. Thanks." 

She released him and wiped the sweat off his damp face a towel she had in her hands. "And your breath is really spicy." she pointed out

"Sorry." He grinned sheepishly as she handed him a cold bottle of water. "You're a lifesaver. It's so hot in there." He rubbed the water bottle all over his face.

"Well when you wear layers in a sauna, you're bound to sweat more than usual." she teased

"Thanks, Captain Obvious." He started drinking the water in big gulps.

She rolled her eyes with a smile. "How are you feeling?"

"Much better now, thanks to you! I appreciate you looking out for me."

"Well, who was the Maknae that got caught with the skull card and who didn't?" She countered, leaving him stuttering. "OWNED!" She smacked him on top of his head and ran away with him right on her tail.

"WAIT! WAIT!" She yelped. "I NEED A 30 SECOND HEAD START!"

Before she could even get past the hallway, he caught her and picked her up over his shoulders. 

"Jungkook! Put me down! You're still sweaty!" She tried to squirm out of his strong grip but to no avail as he started walking around. "How long are you gonna keep me up here!?"

"Until I get tired of it." He laughed with joy.

"Real funny, Jungkook..."

A few hours after heading back to the dorm, Jennie headed into the living room to see Yoongi chilling on the couch, watching TV.

"Where'd everyone go?" She asked, popping the last few smarties in her mouth that she received from the fan meeting

Yoongi turned around and shrugged. "Have no idea. Took a shower and then they were gone."

"Huh. All righty." She turned around to go back to her room but stopped when Yoongi spoke up again.

"So remember that you drew smiley faces on my face, right?"

She turned and watched as he got off the couch. "Yeah?"

He takes out a permanent marker from his pocket and uncaps it, slowly turning to stare her down. The sight made her stomach drop. How was she going to escape this?

Chuckling nervously, she started to back up.

"H-hey...I just remembered I need to go for my jog. I'll catch up with you, later, mkay? Mkay." she tried to dash for the front door but he beat her to it, earning a loud shriek from her. "Oh come on!"

Yoongi sighed and shook his head. "Y'know, I should be napping. Been looking forward to napping all day. But getting my revenge on you is worth my nap time." He started aiming for her face, lunging at her with the marker.

"Agh!" She ducked and started running around the dorm with him keeping up with her. 

Breathing hard, she dashes into her room and slams the door shut before attempting the lock it. She heard a loud bang of Yoongi's fists at the door before he busted open the door just before she could lock it. 

"Yoongi, let's talk about this!" She jumped on her bed with him following her every move.

"Why talk when I can write all over your face, smartie?"

He was enjoying watching her try to escape. It was no use, she was about to get what was coming to her.

Jennie leaped off her bed and sprinted out of the room. "So long sucker!" She yelled and opened the front door. Before she could even run out, she screamed when he grabbed her back by the waist, effortlessly pulling her back in. "No! No! Yoongi, I'm sorry!" She pleaded as he placed her over his shoulder, shutting the door closed.

He placed her down on the floor, before restraining her as he started drawing and writing on her face. She tried to break free from his stronghold but failed 

"Fighting is only gonna make more marks on your face. Which I don't mind." He laughed. "I told the guys I was plotting my revenge and I

wanted no distractions. Looks like Hobi and Jimin aren't saving you this time, Smartie."

"UN-BELIEVABLE!" She yelled and protested but it was all ignored as he put on her face,

'Only Suga draws here' which was written all over her face in Korean as he snapped a picture and posted it on their Twitter captioning it by saying 'I told her I would get my revenge for drawing on my face. Worth my naptime #Suga'

He finally let her go as she looked at the picture. "OH MY GOD! YOONGI!" She dropped his phone in shock, earning a laugh from him. "I can't stand you!"

"The feeling's mutual, Smartie." He revealed his gummy smile and went to place a hand on top of her head as she playfully kicked him away.

"Off the hair!" She headed to the bathroom to try to clean off her face.

Twenty minutes later, the rest of BTS came back to Jennie and she walked out of her room to confront Jimin and J-Hope. 

"YO! Where have you guys been!? I got my ass handed to me by Yoongi! He wrote all over my face! What happened to 'We'll protect you, Jennie'!?" She questioned.

"Yeah...about that..." Jimin rubbed the back of his neck, smiling nervously.

"Sorry, Yoongi scares me! He was so threatening. Sorry Jen Jen." J-Hope patted her head and went to the kitchen, earning a victorious smirk from Yoongi who sat on the couch.

"Wow." She starts laughing."You guys are a piece of work."

I also felt awkward as hell around the way VS portrayed femininity. Thankfully I was in Girl Scouts and listened to Gretchen Wilson and had other versions of femininity to try to emulate as a little girl, but every time I walked past VS until just a few years ago (as an adult!) I felt ugly and ungainly and unlikeable. I fucking love that song about the man who lives in Ohio and I hope it helps every kid who that company has made feel less-than.

That is absolutely 100% the mood. Yes. You've hit it right on the head.

(I had other role models for femininity as a child, but I always thought lady vampires and characters in the American Girl series and...I don't know, Irene Adler? were women you simply couldn't be like anymore, or never could have to begin with. I am posting this early so it gets posted today. I have not posted in a week, when I committed to posting at least twice a week. Last week was extremely busy, and this week will be too.

Over the weekend, I volunteered at the mission (Friday and Saturday) for seven hours total, and on Sunday, we had the family kickoff event for Girl Scouts which brought the whole troop together and our families to discuss the year and fellowship. It was a lot of fun!

Yesterday, I volunteered for two hours at the library, and when I got home from dance, I logged into my game for about 45 minutes to chat with friends and relax before finishing getting ready for bed. I normally wouldn't game through the week, but I needed it last night. It was a long day, so I think I deserved the gaming break.

Like I said, this week is also very busy, so I will try to post again this week, but if this is my only one, you all know why. Even now I am a bit tired, and I still have dance tonight to get through. Usually I find energy at ballet, so I am sure I will tonight too. It's another one of my fun places!

WOLF PACK ENJOYS STRONG 2023-24 SEASON IN THE COMMUNITY AND AT THE BOX OFFICE

On the ice, the club advanced to the Atlantic Division Finals of the Calder Cup Playoffs for the second consecutive season, winning two playoff rounds in the process. Off the ice, the Wolf Pack enjoyed another strong year of growth in ticket sales and its footprint in the Greater Hartford Community. The club enjoyed 19 lower bowl sellouts during the 2023-24 campaign, a mark that helped them see 24 of 36 regular season home games draw a crowd of over 5,000 fans. Over the course of 36 regular season home games, the Wolf Pack welcomed an average of 5,456 fans to the XL Center in downtown Hartford. This marked the club’s highest single-season average attendance since the 2010-11 season. This all combined to see the Wolf Pack enjoy a 56% increase in ticket sales since the 2021-22 season. The 2023-24 season also saw the Wolf Pack continue to expand their footprint in the Greater Hartford Community. The franchise’s beloved mascot, Sonar, made 60 appearances during the season at local schools, community events, community fundraising initiatives, youth sports practices, and more. Hartford Wolf Pack players and coaches also chipped in, making 23 visits during the season.
