saw that last dragonbreath teaser is up (and first thought was oh god already??) -> reminded that i should check what major event is going to happen in CN server -> saw the teaser for vyn's new birthday card and was nearly reduced to tears and passing out -> new major event teaser has ROSA IN A SUIT

so i might actually read some tot cards again; probably the vyn bday card because. yeah. it's gotta be vyn huh. it always comes back to vyn.

what kind of card story or au would you like to see in the future? for me personally i would love a space au (and all the npcs could be robots or aliens and stuff), but im not sure if they would ever do it? they’ve given us plenty of events in the past so it would be neat to see one in the far future

also on the topic of aus i do enjoy the idea of every au date being their ancestors… the sort of red string of fate tying mc and the LIs together across time and space. i feel like it’s super romantic and I wish we would get even more references to these au dates in their stories

like as much as i like the historical AUs and the little hints they put here and there about them being past lives, all theyve done thus far is HISTORICAL AUs (including the dragonbreath one, fantasy historical but still PAST AESTHETIC) so it is time to stop looking into the past and look into the future. into the STARS. or into MECHAS. idc what it is, i just want SCI FI!!!

in a sci fi au i think luke would be so good as a human when cybernetic augmentations that he had to get due to a grizzly past working for the Space NSB. injuries compounded, and the need to get stronger and faster was heightened, so now hes half man half machine, and feels immense shame and self hatred for essentially being half man half living weapon. imagine mc re-meeting him after luke's disappearance and the childhood friend she grew up with on a small planet in the middle of nowhere, they reunite after years in a bustling space capital and suddenly that boy is spliced with cybernetics after seeing the horrors of space travel and war…….

imagine mc holding luke's cybernetic hand with the same kind of tenderness she'd hold his non-cybernetic one.........the same kind of warmth, as she doesnt think him any lesser, doesnt think him a monster for what hes done......AUGH

ive no idea what i'd assign the others in a sci fi au but itd be so cool. i want this so bad you have no idea

As someone who sees so many similarities between Artem and Neuvillette, they must interact. And the Dragonbreath Au cards with Dragon Artem only increase my need to see these dragon men of the justice system meet. They would get along. Please.

I've been saying I love this MR set so much especially the 2nd MR Private Messages for every ML, but since I am Artem biased of course the one I spins around in my mind is his card.

I LOVE how the MR made a callback to his 2nd Bday Card aka Day and Night which is my numero uno card for Artem (in glb server).

In Day and Night SSR, in the face of Elice White fell from grace, Artem had to become the informant therefore mingling with these people, playing the role that caused him misery, and found himself lost and that time, Rosa found him deep in thoughts, alone. I always like it because Artem always has this habit of dealing with dangerous things or might hurt him on his own, Rosa finding him and not letting him being alone is important of Artem letting her see his vulnerable parts (which later follow through in his Sweet Chapter 2 SSR where he admitted that in the past asking for help was admission that he wasn't good enough *spoiler* his Solo SSS would follow through of this theme, showing the character growth.)

After what happened during Day and Night SSR, Artem had been lost, often distracted by his own thoughts because the experience affected him that much. What happened with Elice White shaken him, but the one who pulled him back before drowned by his worries and fear was Rosa, not letting him focus on it, instead the fact whatever may come, whether its hope and despair, they would go through it together.

Anyway it became a Day and Night SSR appreciation (because I am actually insane about this card), please read it if you're interested in Artem's mindset and morality, and the past case that has shaped him and what kind of person he is as law practitioner. Also what kind of worry that he has for the future may come.
