Like a Dragon: Yakuza, based on the Sega video franchise, is directed by Masaharu Take. The series stars Ryoma Takeuchi (Kazuma Kiryu), Yumi Kawai (Yumi Sawamura), Hinano Nakayama (Miho), Kento Kaku (Akira Nichikiyama), Munetaka Aoki (Goro Majima), Toshiaki Karasawa (Shintaro Kazama), Subaru Shibutani (Detective Date), and Mistao Morita (Aiko)

I barely monitor their official accounts anymore and now checking on it because of you. 

I haven’t watched their Special Eps with Toru as the lead tbh. And last I heard, Higuchi also stayed on US for his son’s cure. Thus, I have no idea why he is back for Season 2. Since their SP, I already guess they would have their own story for Season 2 if they decided to produce it... but part of me still wants they follow the original with JP version of Do Kangwoo.

But hey, he may still appear based on this synopsys:

This drama would be aired on July 31, one week right after OCN Voice Season 4 ends. Well, let’s look forward of it!

The battle between Higuchi Shogo vs Hongo Shizuku (aka Moo Jinhyuk vs Mo Taegu in Japan remake of VOICE). This is the best part of the remake that surpasses the original version, even a better fight than Do Kangwoo vs Bang Jesoo that you get more gunfight, kick, punch, and wrestling here.

Why I said best? In original, you got the impression of Jinhyuk fighting bunch of men in butcher house and fighting an assassin who’s supposed to kill his son. You also get the impression how strong Taegu is by Nam Sangtae’s narration that he killed his dad who was a gangster in a fight then mutilated him. But all you get from ‘em in the climax is just a cat and mouse.

Also, this is the 2nd great battle between both actors since their reversal role’s confrontation in Casshern (2004)--> [x].

So today Voice isn’t aired on NTV, can’t wait for the confrontation between Toshiaki Karasawa and Yusuke Iseya there since Casshern (2004), now the protagonist and the antagonist is reversed. Yeah, I rewatch it, almost forget how depressed the movie is. The music in this final battle is cool btw.
