IT'S ACTUALLY SUCH A DOWNGRADE. DEPUTY IS JUST A MUCH WORSE VERSION OF VIGILANTE THAT SHOOTS DURING THE DAY.

PROSECUTORS ARE EVEN MORE RECKLESS NOW THAT THERE'S NO HAMGMAN

APOC IS HORRIBLE. GETTING SOLO IS BAD ENOUGH BUT NOW YOU ALMOST ALWAYS GET SOLO????

hi its duel anon again i got tos2 and on my very first game i got mayor so i claimed mayor and everyone told me to reveal so i did and then got killed instantly (im having fun) - duel anon🤺

mayor (& other TPOW (Town Power) roles like jailor, monarch, & prosecutor) shouldn’t claim unless they absolutely have to. if it’s VFA (Vote For Alignment) & someone’s asking you to claim & youre a TPOW role you should typically just claim TPOW, or some other town alignment (i’ve seen a mayor claim TS (Town Support) once) to throw evils off your track, since evils want TPOWs dead sooo badly

in tos2 i really think the illusionist and enchanter should be merged into one role, so right now i was thinking "so... what would i make as a role to fill in the missing coven deception space?" and then i remembered about how the marshal role was originally modded, but came into vanilla with all its balancing removed... i think a new coven deception maybeeee should become the new balancer for the marshal (and other tpows / psuedo-tpows that insta kill people; prosecutor and deputy) ... ive just started thinking about it, so i dont think my idea is the best right now, but basically i think it should serve as kind of similar to a judge from btos2 and be able to hijack prosecutions and tribunals ... or, i just thought about it again, and my original idea was 'it can curse someone at night, and if the next day a tribunal or prosecution happens, they are killed instead of the first selected target' but what does that have to do with deception ... that is just plain murder ... throwing someone onto railway tracks ...

maybe, instead, this role should be able to directly mess with ti results (swapping enemies to friends and friends to enemies for a night if used on a seer, making everyone in an evil vision good or a good vision evil if used on a psychic, etc etc), and also maybe have a big button ability thats basically just mass hysteria from btos2 (makes everyone appear as enemies, everyone appear sus, people tracked being seen as visiting the killed person, etc), so then in a tribunal theres a higher chance of voting out a real townie due to this role being used on them but people not realising ... well, maybe the vanilla illusionist abilities can be given to the ench and this can become an illu rework

i had a dream earlier today where i was jailor & this guy claimed janitor in jail, keep in mind this was town of salem 2 so janitor doesnt exist, but i didnt realize that janitor wasnt in tos2 because this guy just kept spewing nonsense at me it was so confusing so i decided to just execute them & then i turned into prosecutor to execute them for some reason & they were town so i died & the entire town was like "wow... throwing :/" even though it was a very justified execution
