No, it is not a contradiction that Grass-Type trainers like to smoke grass. It's research into type weakness. Grass is my personal favorite type, but these are not necessarily just my favorites within. There's still a very "Neko" vibe. Obviously the grass kitty Meowscarada fits, which props to Gen 9 for giving me a good single player way to have fun with Trick/Toxic Orb. Torterra was an obvious one too. It's like a little Zunisha! Of course we have to party with Ludicolo as well.

Tropius and Exeggutor give you some beef because he's a large samurai cat man. Same with Tangrowth but like...Tangrotwh is also so silly. It looks like the big wooly sheep Mink. Neko's had a long time to raise up this team. They're all about lazing around together. Which coincidentally is exactly what I'd do with a team of grass types...(Serperior/Vileplume/Tsareena)

Yes, by a long shot. He's my favorite silly little bug.

I just like everything about it. I love spiders and I love small and silly pokemon (and boy is he the smallest of lads). He also seems verry useful for me as a mechatronics engineer, because he is a small electric type, so he could help as variable power supply/battery!

As for the runner up, It's hard to answer. I love a lot of pokemon and it makes my second favorite fluxuate quite a bit. I'll name some of the competitors: Scolipede (big cool bug) , Slither wing (big floofy moth) , leafeon (salad) , tinkaton (#1 mischief maker), turtwig/torterra (og, my first pokemon).

However at this moment the second spot goes to mudkip, since I've been replaying PSMD and got mudkip so he has been on my mind a lot :3.

My other ask hasnt even posted yet so this doesnt feel like much of an "update" but!!! My hyperfixation on this kin rn has finally resulted in getting mems.

Clodsire was my only elite four team member who was actually my pokemon! The others were all owned by the league!!! I trained with them at work and adored them, but they all belonged to the league as pokemon leagues specially bred pokemon for the elite 4 groups to really up the challenge for trainers.

And I had a side job! I was a whooper breeder :) I had a Quagsire as well who never went into battle. Despite game mechanics making the resulting pokemon species easy to predict, in reality it could be the same as either parent. So breeding regional forms with eachother was pretty common to cover more pokemon species without the hastle of learning the habits of two completely different species. So I always had a good number of both paldean and johtonian whoopers around my house! Little rascals :)

And, while the rest of the team wasnt mine, I suspect the torterra in my blueberry academy team was also mine. I think a kid traded it to me as a turtwig instead of taking a whooper for free. Some kids take the need to trade to accept a pokemon far too seriously! (Im being silly ofc)

Kicking my feet. I still miss Clodsire. But Im happy Im starting to actually get mems of my life in paldea :)

Oh Beetle, you know me all too well and you just know I will absolutely talk more about random Pokémon on this blog. Here we have the Solar Years guys and their mons !

BALTAZAR (They don't have a main type because they're just a farmer, but back in their elite 5 days they were probably grass/dragon)

- Torterra [It's just a big fuggin lad !!!! A huge guy !!! It's nice and steady and good for a guy who's lived in a farm for most of their life. I like to think they would let kids ride it around too :]]

- Tangrowth [Its a huge guy with crazy hair. I just can see Balt with a Pokemon like this so clearly its insane. I love this Pokémon too so ofc im giving it to my favorite little guy !!!]

- Salamence [Probably was the symbol of his old elite 5 team, but once that crashed and burned.... yeah, they don't like talking too much about it. This guy brings back bitter memories, but Balt does his best to separate them from the team itself. Its better for both of them.]

- Haxorous (shiny) [Same as salamence, but even more so. It makes Balt feel bad that he ever put these poor guys in harm's way by battling with them as hard as he did, but he already apologized like a thousand times for it so they already forgiven him don't worry. Honestly probably a huge baby, given Hax was given to him when he was young <3 they grew up together !!]

- Leavanny [I just think Baltazar deserves a buddy okay !!! Its a silly little lady !!! Also Sewaddle is adorable and I love the idea of Balt finding a grub in their garden and taking care of it instead of throwing it out okay. Grab that Grub]

LUIS (ice/fighting or ice/dark. Are you surprised that the angry ice guy is angry and ice. Probably training to be elite 5, and getting pretty fucking close to it)

- Walrein [This is Luis' starter simply because I just think the Vibes are fit. Probably just picked up a spheal in his youngin days and it stayed with him forever !... this sounds a lot sadder now, huh..]

- Sneasel -> Weaville [Angry and competitive little fellow with a fondness for stealing ? Why, that's just exactly like Luis !! He didn't even have to try to catch this guy, it just showed up one day and then stuck around because Luis kept giving it bacon bits. Now they're the bestest smuggest buddies...together ♡]

- Annihalape [No surprise here huh. This Pokémon follows literally the same premise as Luis' whole story: Got so fucking mad it dies and comes back wrong. Luis saw this Pokémon for the first time and is like you just like me fr (takes good care of it to project)]

- Krookodile [It has cool ass sunglasses and it kicks a whole lot of ass on the battlefield. Luis gets it primarily for aesthetics but secondarily for its sheer power. More than happy to kill for any of his mons but especially this guy]

ANDROMEDA (Fairy/Fire gym trainer !)

- Volcarona [That's her starter right here. It slays cunt and its also a gorgeous little thing !! Just like xem fr fr !!]

- Flareon [Matches with Sylveon because they were from the same litter ! Evolved to keep Andromeda safe because this fuckin idiot keeps getting himself in situations and shit. Extremely defensive of everything but mainly because of the first thing- just a really well trained guard dog that forgot how to have fun. Still very soft and silly]

- Sylveon [Matches with Flareon because they're from the same litter ! LOVES Andromeda to death and it is absolutely mutual ! Most spoiled ever !!! Also insanely brutal. don't worry about it though 🙏]

- Alcremie [Just a sweet lil thang. I like to think this one is mostly for aesthetics but its still really well cared for]

MARSH (FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIYAAAAHHH]

- Quilava [Starter Pokémon. I think the angry looking and explosive personality just sold it to him. He wants to evolve it SO bad but they're both still working on it.]

- Houndour [Its a fire ouppy... he has to have the fire ouppy. They're both young and growing up together but they'll both be the most destructive hounds ever just you fuckin' wait <3]

YESSSS Prowl as Swadloon or Leavanny is SO perfect, I’ve actually drawn him as Swadloon before!! :D Also I’m extremely biased about making him a bug type haha, but it just WORKS!! 😤

TFA Bulkhead I’ve always seen as like a Venusaur or Torterra!! :0c Imagining them as big but also gentle is just too cute to me… 😭 Drednaw’s a runner up, but the other two just got too well to me.

HERACROSS FOR TFP BULKHEAD I LOVE THAT!!! Again, I’m biased about bug types but Heracross definitely feels like the bug type that suits Bulkhead the best tbh. They’re strong but silly. 🥺💖

OOOhohoo grass type is actually one of my favourites! Besides, hehe, the obvious one.

FIRST OF ALL is Appletun. Obviously. Look at it. My third favourite pokémon!! Ask me about my 20 appletun. I love them dearly.

Then, my first starter and my perpetual lil' buddy, Torterra! I gotta keep an eye out for when pokémon bank becomes free so I can finally feed my old friend Lewie some Sandwhiches <:0)

Now, with two members of my top 10 faves out of the way, the thing gets tricky... So bring in the Goofy guys!

Ludicolo, Tangrowth and Alolan Exegutor! Just look at them.

The last one was the hardest one! I almost chose Shiftry, which i always found Super Cool, Cacturne, for the same reasons, or Carnivine or Maractus because they're also silly... But the crown goes to Tropius, my beloved bananasaurus!

I know this team is probably terrible in battle... But imagine camping or having a picnic with all of them! It would be the best!
