Grumpy old men: Berube is going to HATE Mitch and will bench him for the majority of the season because he's too soft and not a team player. The team doesn't need Mitch. He should be traded for a bag of pucks. I can't wait for Berube to abuse him, I want to see him cry.

Berube: If I could have Mitch on the ice for the entire 60 minutes, I would. I would get him to play in every position. Because he's good at everything, and he's a leader on and off the ice. Alongside the interview, Alex Hirsch also sent me and Hana each a personalized Gravity Falls drawing made and signed by him. This was mine.

I can now say that Dipper and Mabel have visited Canada and specifically, my home town of Toronto.

I'll probably never own Journal 3 Special Edition. But this imo is even better. There's a pretty funny story that happened regarding this drawing that I'll be sharing in the behind the scenes video I got coming on the channel next month on just how we got this interview to happen.

I’m sure there’s a term for this, but in the same way homonationalism describes the process of using the guise of lgbtq rights to further western imperial aims, something similar happens with gentrification - I walk down gentrified streets and all the small business owned shops have gay pride stickers in their windows, often with explicit attention called to being trans inclusive

#and obviously they aren’t in any real material sense but the same can be said for homonationalism #.txt #but like the gay villages in Toronto for example are incredibly gentrified
