Toronto Comicon Haul

aka STUDENT DEBT IS SUFFERING. Most of this shit is handcrafted and fabricky, less on the actual comic books. (Female condoms are included because it's Happy Women's Day, Get Fucked Safely).

Behold the reason why I'm chronically broke.

Bought this from Deena Draws! She wasn't selling it because there's a bit of a bleed into the white, but I've got a thing for handcrafted imperfections (and redheaded lesbians, but that's a whole 'nother story). I offered $10 because the price of her other pendants were $17 and I would've felt bad paying less, but I'm pretty sure I could've offered cheaper. I guess the moral is to ask if artists have any fuck-ups/minor defects in their stash in case you come across some cheap cool stuff.

Forgot to get the artist, but they're handmade and gorgeous. Clips are a bit of a hassle but I'll probably use these for deco rather than hair.

Picked up only two trades since I always end up buying from the Silver Snail or hailing hydra anyway. JLI Vol. 4 and some Deadpool Classic, both were 50% off US cover price and will likely make my sides hurt from laughing too hard.

Cute as hell bat-coin purse I got from sparklegirl. Zipper works like a dream, material feels pretty well-sewn.

I owe my friend money because I bought this piece of stellar 50% off shit.  Slowly becoming Miss Frizzle every day ;_;

Overall, spent about $70 including the $28 ticket. Not bad but goddammit I'm going to have to scrimp until I (hopefully) win that SSHRC contest.
