A few weeks ago I had the privilege of working with a talented individual from Jacksonville Florida ,who graduated this past year. Tori Andresson is a bright individual with an amazing future ahead. We have been friend for many years now so when senior photos came up in conversation I was thrilled!

Tori has so many talents singing, dancing drawing and costume design are just a few. Wile I was in Florida we decided that we would showcase her favorite talent, belly dancing. It was quite a challenge to photograph. We made our way out to the Jacksonville beach around 10 am or so to try and avoid some of the tourist crowds. We did accomplish this, but the sun was high and to our backs over the water casting hash shadows. To try and combat this I started by using my speed flash. However this didn't help because the sun was to bright. We decided to just go with it and she danced her heart out causing everyone around to watch in awe. 

Next we heading back in to hotel to cool down, because it was very hot, and then we figured out were we wanted to go next. We decided on downtown, this would be the best option because of the beautiful murals and unique architecture. We snapped a few photos wile there and then ended our day.

Getting to see Tori grow as a person and having the opportunity to capture the love of dance she holds so dear, was such a heartwarming experience. I love being able to photograph people doing what they love, its the whole reason I started photography. It is because of people like tori that I can thrive as a photographer, because it fuels my passion and keeps me grounded in it. Stay tuned on what new adventure i’ll be heading on next!
