Hello! I'm just wondering, even though you don't post about it a lot, what you think about Miraculous Ladybug and why you like it!

Ah!  I don’t post about ML that much because currently the fandom isn’t Doing It for me--maybe I’m just following the wrong bunch of folks at the moment, but I just generally do not have a high tolerance for discourse and there’s a fair bit of it on my dash right now about ML.

HOWEVER

I find it genuinely very charming!  I like the conceit of the love square, I think the akuma concept is a good one, and honestly I’ll watch almost anything if I like the characters enough.  Marinette and Adrien are really delightful and I’d probably watch them be earnest all day given the opportunity to do so.  I would enjoy Chat Noir getting a real chance to save the day, as he spends a lot of time being the damsel in distress and I think they could do an interesting plot with Marinette’s ongoing and increasing martyr complex by forcing her to depend on Adrien to save her.  Also I yelled A Lot during the Chat Blanc episode, which I then obviously rewatched several times for More Yelling.

Also! ML is a great AU setting.  There’s a fantastic AU ft Ladybug!LWJ and Chat Noir!WWX, @cthulhu-with-a-fez and I have extensively plotted a ML AU of Source and Shield, and it DID just occur to me that the Kencyrath would map almost perfectly onto ML with no alterations whatsoever (Kindrie can step up and take the Turtle when Ardeth finally surrenders it!  Tyrandis is the Black Cat kwami!  Maybe Rose Ironthorn or Trishien is the Ladybug kwami!  Lots of options here!).  Any time you are working with a main pairing with pining, slap those babies into some spandex and give them superpowers and write a Miraculous AU!  Get on my level.
