This started out as any other apocalyptic story but something happened. You had died defending the only people you had left before you woke up in your bedroom. A room you haven't seen in over twenty years.

You are back in the past, before the monsters and ghouls have truly dominated humanity. You see old faces and friends, who are so young and full of life. You also remember each of their horrible deaths like a scar.

You don't know why you are here and what greater purpose it serves, but you don't care. You have second chance to save the ones you have lost in that dark future. You won't lose anybody again. No matter what.

DAY 3 | The Recoupling (6/8)

Nina: Whew, that even hurt my heart. Despite Tucker’s first choice, Manny, being coupled up with Joey already, Tucker hasn’t backtracked on his opinion that he and Tori shouldn’t continue forward. But out of all the girls to choose, Felicity was not the one I thought he’d be going for. I officially believe there’s no point in me trying to predict these islanders choices because clearly, I don’t know a damn thing. Welp...there’s only one boy left and two girls still left on the chopping block. Will Tori or Yana be the one being dumped from the island tonight? Find out, next!

Nina: There are three ladies left standing, and only two boys left to couple up with. Next up to pick is…

Nina: [Tucker.]

Tucker: [whispers] ...Damn it.

Tucker: I want to preface this by saying, all three of you ladies are beautiful in your own right. I came in to the Villa, like some of you, skeptical of whether this experience could find me someone worth investing in. And then I coupled up with a beautiful woman.

Tucker: [This girl was vulnerable with me, shared secrets with me in the dark, and became a very close friend.]

Tucker: …The issue is…that might be all it is. A very close friendship. I don’t want to continue on a course that may lead to confusion and heartbreak when I already know where my own heart lies. And…that’s with someone else.

Camryn: [hisses] Wait. What is he doing?

Tucker: [sigh] The girl I’m choosing tonight is someone…who I believe has the potential to be more than a friend. The girl I’d like to couple up with is… Felicity.

Manny: IS WHO?!

Camryn: [sucks teeth] …Figures.

Felicity: [whispers] Sorry babe. Maybe it just wasn’t meant to be?

Felicity: I knew you’d pick me!

Tucker: Yeah…

Tori: [starts to cry]

DAY 3 | The Recoupling (3/8)

Nina: This pairing should come as no surprise, but is certainly still cute to see finally become official: after giving a heartfelt speech about their feelings for Sydney, Frankie chooses him to recouple with. And it’s clear that Sydney couldn’t be happier. Of course this development means not only is Yana vulnerable, but there is now no chance for all five of these girls to survive this recoupling. Coming up: we’ve shuffled the names and it’s time to find out which of the boys will be picking first!

Nina: Okay! As I was saying: Frankie, boys - the six of you are all safe for this week, while our five ladies of the Villa are vulnerable.

Nina: [Felicity, Camryn, Manny, Tori, and Yana - if you fail to recouple with someone tonight, you will be eliminated.]

Nina: As our newest islander, Frankie will be given first choice. After that, each of the boys will take their turn based on a predetermined randomized order. Everyone clear? Excellent!

Nina: [Now, Frankie, please do us the honor of starting us off.]

Frankie: Hey guys. I guess I’ll start off by saying that I’m really happy to be here, and that you all have welcomed me into the Villa. I didn’t know what I would find, coming on the show, but I’m glad to say that I’ve met some people that are really down to earth.

Frankie: The person I would like to couple up with tonight has especially touched a special place in my heart. I admire the passion they have for their work, their adventurous spirit, and the care and esteem they hold for those they meet.

Frankie: [I know by coupling up with this person, it will leave their previous partner vulnerable. However, I know that this is the person who I want to get to know better, and I can’t let that opportunity pass me by.]

Frankie: So, the person I want to couple up with is…

Frankie: Sydney!

Frankie: You looked nervous there for a second. You can’t have thought I would pick anyone but you.

Sydney: Well, you never know for sure, right? But I’m excited you did…

Nina: Man, what a conversation to have right before receiving that text message. Well it’s too late for Tucker to figure out to how to let Tori down easy, because we’ve come to the most exciting time of the night...

Tori: Thanks for helping me touch up my sunscreen, babe!

Tucker: Of course. We can’t let those delicate shoulders of yours get char-broiled in the sun.

Tori: [giggles] I would hope not. Last thing I want is to look like a lobster right before the recoupling. Speaking of which, I cannot wait for it.

Tucker: Ready to get rid of me already?

Tori: Very funny, smarty-pants. I’m just looking forward to all this drama finally getting squashed. Once everyone reshuffles their couples, there’ll be nothing to argue about. And then we can finally just focus on us for a moment.

Tucker: [nervous] So you’re not nervous at all about the outcomes for the recoupling?

Tori: What’s there to be nervous about when I’ve got you? Unless…you’re nervous?

Tucker: [even more nervous] Nah, I just…

Tucker: I wanted to make sure you’re getting everything you want out of this experience, you know? I know I’m not your only option in here. I don’t want you feeling pressured to stay with me if you had any interest in anyone else.

Tori: Tucker, trust me - you’re the only one I’m interested in. As far as I’m concerned, this is end game for me.

Tucker: [flustered] O-oh!

Tucker: Yeah…I’ve definitely didn’t think this one through. I knew that Tori was attached to me, but I didn’t realize that she wasn’t flirting with literally anyone else. I should have just been upfront with her and let her know what was happening with me and Manny. But when it came time to say something, I kinda just froze. I couldn’t stand the thought of hurting her feelings.

Tucker: Don’t get me wrong, that makes me happy to hear, but…let’s not jump to conclusions too soon.

Tori: [chuckles] Fair enough. But I wanted you to know, I’m happy just where I am. Seriously.

Tucker: I’m glad…You really do mean a lot to me, Tori.

[notification]

Tucker: [yells] I got a text!

Islanders, the time has come to stake your claim: please get ready for the next recoupling, which will take place at the firepit in 30 minutes! #makingitofficial

Manny: [whimpering] Ahh…Hikaru…my…m-my phone…

Manny: [panting] I think…our time’s ran out. But…maybe we can pick this up later tonight…

Nina: Ooooh, I know that look Manny. That’s the look of a girl ready to go all in on a new boo. I’m not mad at it, but it looks like you’ve got Tori more than a little concerned. After sharing an intimate kiss in front of the other islanders, it’s starting to become clear that for some people, these kisses are more than just for the challenge. At this rate, we’re going to have quite the line up of broken hearts to sweep up off the floor. But hey, we never said love was easy!

Ramone: I feel like I’ve heard Manny say something about a brother before. Don’t know if it’s a twin brother though.

Joey: Better than nothing! And since you all have gone, I guess I can do the honors--

Tucker: And let you incite Felicity’s wrath in the middle of the game? Yeah, I don’t think so. I’ll be taking this one, buddy.

Tucker: Hey…you good?

Manny: [breahtless] Yeah, just…weirdly nervous.

Tucker: Don’t be. Forget about everyone else here. Just focus on me…

Frankie: [Tucker has locked in his answer! And it is…correct!]

Manny: [whispering]…Wow. There’s that electricity.

Tucker: [smirking and whispering] Glad you feel it. And I hope you’re ready to feel a whole lot more later on.

Manny: [blushing]

Tori: Is it just me, or are they kinda staring a little too long at each other?

Yana: …I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about. Just part of the game.

Tucker: [whispering] Chat later tonight?

Manny: [whispering] I’ll be there…

Nina: *deep exhale* Well then! What do you say after a recoupling like that? Hikaru is our last boy up, and with only Tori and Yana to choose between, he’s been put into an awkward position. Considering he hasn’t gotten to know either of the girls, he’s decided to defer to logic - and apparently that’s saved Yana tonight. Poor, Tori...I’m sure this isn’t how she thought her time would come to an end. But unfortunately it’s time for her to say her goodbyes...

Nina: [Tori, Yana - one of you ladies will be going home tonight.]

Nina: The decision of who will be spared rests in our final boy’s hands. Hikaru…

Nina: […finish us off, if you’d please.]

Hikaru: I’ll be honest - tonight did not go the way I thought it would. I had someone in mind who I wanted to pick, but…they’ve unfortunately already been chosen. Even worse, I haven’t really developed a rapport with either of you.

Hikaru: [The reality is that this decision is a coin flip for me. The choice I’m making doesn’t bear any weight on either of your characters.]

Hikaru: I’m simply choosing who I think has the best chance of making a connection with the islanders who are currently in the Villa. I hope you won’t take it personally.

Hikaru: [The girl I want to couple up with is…]

Hikaru: Yana…

Tori: [sobbing]

Yana: [gasp]

Nina: I...wow. If you were to look up “petty” in the dictionary, Joey’s face would surely show up, cause that was the definition of petty! By all means, king, continue to bring that drama to the table! Joey stuns everyone by going rouge and deciding to kiss Manny. It would have been bad enough on that premise alone, but absolute show he put on in front of everyone...bravo, sir. You would need a machete to cut through the tension this one chaotic decision left in the air. Surely, nothing can top that today!

Nina: Tori isn’t the only one feeling the jealousy bug. After Sydney and Yana share their second kiss of the competition, Frankie can be seen looking visibly uncomfortable. Honestly, I’m sure there’s nothing for them to worry about, but it’s understandable that as the new kid, they’re nervous about laying their claim. But that’s barely news: what’s really interesting is seeing Joey strumming up the nerve to take matters into his own hands. A chaotic move? No doubt about it.

DAY 3 | Wish That I Could (1/4)

Nina: Welcome back, my sexy viewers! We’re back inside the Love Island Villa: after last night’s near fight between Felicity and Manny, I think everyone is appreciating the calm this morning. Unfortunately for Tucker, he’s being confronted with drama right as he’s starting his day. Hoping to secure a new couple, now that she and Joey have called it quits, Felicity wastes no time making it clear that she’d love to have Tucker all to herself. Tucker, on the other hand, looks like he’d like nothing more than to pretend this conversation never happened. Ah, I know the  curse of beauty and charm as well, my dear; what a pain is it to be this beautiful and so desired! Anywho, Felicity’s not the only one trying to mark her territory. Camryn: Well, this is quite the contrast to last night, isn’t it? I could get used to these peaceful island mornings.

Tori: Same here. What do you guys plan on doing today?

Camryn: [Probably some more pool lounging. What about you, Fe?]

Felicity: Oh, you know, just chatting some people up. Gotta make the rounds after last night, you know?

Tori: Fair enough. Let me know when breakfast is ready, babe!

Camryn: Me too! You know where to find me.

Felicity: Hey, Tucker? Mind if I grab you for a sec?

Tucker: Sure, what’s up?

Felicity: I’m sure you’ve already heard, but Joey and I decided we’d be looking for different partners last night. After the Manny fiasco.

Tucker: Right. You guys “both” decided that--

Felicity: So, I’m available. And I wanted to check in and see where your head is at.

Tucker: Well, I’m still pretty happy with how things are going with Tori--

Felicity: Are you? Or are you just content? Like, maybe you’re fine with where you’re at, but you could do better?

Tucker: …Okay, I’m really afraid of where this conversation is going. Are you implying that you’re better than Tori?

Felicity: Those words didn’t come out of my mouth! I’m just saying that you did step forward for me at the first coupling, so clearly there was some interest. And isn’t the point of this whole experience to find the perfect match? Who’s to say that couldn’t be us?

Tucker: Uh-huuuuh. Well, you’ve certainly given me something to think on. In the meantime, I think I’m gonna have my tea outside.

DAY 3 | The Recoupling (8/8)

Nina: Aw, this is always the hardest part of this night - saying goodbye. I’m sure I’m not alone in how awful I feel seeing Tori heartbroken after Tucker decided against coupling up with her, which subsequently led to her being dumped from the Villa. I’m sure one day she’ll be able to see the silver lining in this experience, but for now, let’s send our girl off to a nice hotel stocked with plenty of wine, ice cream, and a nice comforting bath.

Well viewers, that just about does it for this episode! Next time on Love Island, get ready to do it all again: flirting, jealousy, challenges, new islanders, and a whole bunch more! See you then!

Her time inside of the Villa may have been short, but I’ll truly miss having Tori as part of the gang! She didn’t get a true chance to shine, after  not spending much time with any of the other islanders, which unfortunately sealed her fate. I believe her original creator, @/starterflowers, has deactivated, but if you’re out there somewhere reading this, I just want to thank you so much for submitting her and I hope that you continue her story and that she one day finds love!

Tori: [sobbing] I came into Love Island prepared to not find love, but I didn’t prepare myself to get so close to almost finding it and then having it all be a lie. It’s a different type of heartbreak entirely. I just can’t believe that out of everyone, he was able to do that to me. Well, I hope he’s able to sleep easy with his decision…

As the night winds down, and our contestants finally seem to be falling into a nice rhythm, we let loose our newest addition to the island: Frankie Samuel! Ooh, I gotta say I like their style.
