I have decided to post this old work of mine (created the summer of 2022), which never got a lot of traction on my now long-abandoned Instagram. Because, well, I am still quite proud of it (even if the birds made me reconsider my life choices. There's only so many birds a human is supposed to draw in one single image and this was decidedly too many).
It's fanart for the Song Soleil by Toraboruta, featuring Kagamine Rin; one of my all-time favourite songs.
"Iconic song people still talk about today. Very good melody that beautifully weaves two overlapping vocals together. Full of mystery and intrigue and tells a story."
Kokoro:
"Such a special song and a unique story. The 'thank you' part at the end makes me want to cry from happiness; It's so darn good."
confession time i just spent the past like 30 minutes crying over kokoro by toraboruta because it reminds me of my favorite person ever who ill hopefully see tomorrow for the first time in like two weeks (which is a really long time for us because we usually see each other or at least call everyday, we havent been calling recently because of holidays and family) and i sent it to him and we both started tearing up and were just saying thank you for everything to each other and reminding that we love each other (/p) but then i decided to listen to the english cover of kokoro by lizz robinett and the part where it goes "i can finally say real and sincere words. i dedicate... this song to you!" and then "thank you so much, thank you so much for all the days we've spent together" and then also "ill sing for all eternity!" idk man those parts just completely broke me and made me start sobbing my heart out and i was hugging marie plush the entire time because marie plush reminds me of my favorite person because were like callie and marie
anyways thats my kokoro emotional rant or whatever now im probably not gonna get to cry for another 4 months because thats how my body works lmao
