Long exposure taken over the Las Vegas strip with an Inspire 1 RAW in 2016. The photo is a long exposure and the original had some blur in the buildings due to the drone moving. I used Topaz AI to remove the blur and clear the photo. The future is here today. Show that AI will not replace designers, photographers and filmmakers but it will give us tools to bring photos like to a new life.  PS: This photo was taken before the law regarding UAVs in USA. Still, I flew from the top of the parking lot of the Bellagio and had 100% visual control of the drone and was flying over an area where very few and only cars were passing.

Trying out a more extreme restoration here. It’s not very clear in gif form, but this clip has been fully de-noised and restored to HD using TopazAI processing. Key-frames were then manually enhanced and colourised, then applied to all frames using EBSynth. There are a few artefacts, so I’d still consider it a WIP, but I figured it was of an high enough quality to post here.

Some less common winter colors of nature. One of the times I was shooting pics of the waves at Cape Disappointment, I saw these trees and liked the colors of the new growth complimenting the white bark. In ways, untended nature certainly becomes a tangled mess very quickly like the branches of the trees. But it even in that I see the marvelous intricacies it gives. I think we too often like our manicured versions of nature - and I do love that as well. But we need to be careful to also let nature be nature. I didn't have my camera settings as good as I should have, so this image was more blurry from hand-holding a 1/15 second shot. But thanks to TopazAI Sharpening, it cleaned up pretty nicely. Granted, if I were to enlarge it, you would see a lot of artifacting, but at least I have a reasonably clean memory of what I was seeing that day. I've been back since to shoot more waves and I look at these trees each time, but the colors have never since looked like this when I've been there. One of these days.... . Jan 20 . A rest stop along the highways of South Dakota. I've said before that as much as I like flying and seeing things from the air, I also like doing road trips where I can see a lot more detail up close. While one of my daughters and I were driving across the USA this past summer, we of course spent many hours driving across the great plains of mid-America. In South Dakota where the nomadic tribes of native Americans used to roam and live in tee-pees, they have these symbolic concrete tee-pee towers. I snapped this pic as we drove by one well into blue hour. I had seen them along the way and wanted to get such a pic and finally had my camera ready. And I like how the white and blue contrasts so well. Some times I get lucky with a shot. But since it was getting dark, I'm glad I had some reasonably fast glass but I still had to spend some time in Lightroom and TopazAI. .
