If you like... Mythological Fantasy
This week we have a genre freebie for Top 10 Tuesday, and I am going with Top 10 Mythological Fantasy Books. I really do like a plot where the gods get interested in mortal affairs, leading to much chaos — and great world-building.
1 / The Chalion Series / World of the Five Gods series by Lois McMaster Bujold
2 / Inheritance Trilogy by N. K. Jemisin
3 / Paternus Trilogy by Dyrk Ashton

Spring '24 TBR
This week’s Top 10 Tuesday has us looking at our Spring ’24 TBR. I don’t know about you, but I’d be lucky to finish these off for the whole year! Still – subject to change and all that – here’s my set:
Folks, how have you been? Anybody else feeling the reading blues lately? Or, er, since last year? What are your solutions — and of course, your own Spring ’24 TBR lists?

Top Ten Tuesday (19)
“Top Ten Tuesday” is hosted at The Artsy Reader Girl. Upcoming Releases I’m On the Fence About
I couldn’t think of 10 this week so here are 5 books I’m hesitant to read:
Sorcery of Thorns (release date – June 4th, 2019): I was really underwhelmed by An Enchantment of Ravens so I’m not sure I want to give this one a chance. Maybe once I see some good reviews on it.

Since Thursday is officially the beginning of Autumn, I thought I would say goodbye to summer with a list of my 10 favorites I’ve read… Many are Middle Grade chapter books. I’ve had lots of fun with them this summer!
Each link below is attached to my previous review…
Unwritten
The Song of Achilles
Shoe Dog
The One and Only Ivan
The President is Missing
A Long Walk To Water
The Bigfoot Files
Louisiana’s Way Home
Us Against You
Island of the Blue Dolphin
There are 2 books that I just didn’t enjoy as much as I had expected…
Scythe
This was a great dystopian book, but for some reason this genre just doesn’t do it for me. But I had seen so many great reviews of it, I just had to give it a try anyway.
The Perfect Couple
This Elin Hilderbrand Book was still a fun Nantucket read, but it just wasn’t up there with the rest of them for me. It seemed like there were too many affairs going on, and I tend to get burnt out on that easily. But she is still one of my favorite authors and I will gladly buy her next one, Winter in Paradise coming out October 9, 2018.
Have you read any of these this summer? Do you agree or disagree with any of my picks? What has been your favorite read this summer?
Happy Reading friends!

I’m going to translate this to mean books I love with single-word titles because otherwise it’d be kind of random.
So, let’s go!
