This was alarming to the scientists and they did what they could to restrain the clone, since he was still in the early stages of development. This was their first ‘successful’ clone, even though he was still ‘uncooked’, taking the form of a young boy, so it’s no surprise that he seems a little odd and unusual)

2. siren x captain / i can play either role / any pairings, i can play as any gender/identity...

so, muse a is the captain of the ship, they are returning back from the war and everything is relatively okay... until they make a wrong turn and end up on siren-infested waters. now, something you must know about muse a, they recently lost their best friend/secret lover in battle, and has been mourning them in secret ever since. another thing, sirens take the form of the person you love the most, so when they finally realize there are sirens around, muse b -one of the sirens-, is already sitting on top of a rock, in the form of their beloved, singing to the captain.

somehow, muse a and their crew manage to fight off the sirens, but when muse a had to kill muse b, they simply couldn't... the resemblance was unbearable. so, they trapped them in a net and has kept the siren in their chambers ever since. muse a just really... really misses their loved one.

both plots can be mixed! they also can be used for double ups or used in a fandom (cough cough epic the musical cough cough- please cough cough)!!

submitted a post for m/m rp. fandomless, oc's, very NORMAL ad. not a single mention of smut or nsfw ANYWHERE. it was the most PG-13 ad i'd ever written. some mention of dark plots but so minimal that i really just considered it an after thought. I don't know if the community at large understands what an OC is anymore. Like. There's fandom OCs, where you create a new dude to live in an extant setting. There's fandomless OCs, where you create a new dude in either a new world or applicable to all worlds. There's OCs who were formerly canon related, such as when you were really into a franchise but ended up developing your original dude so contrary to later established lore that you just pull them entirely, or you so fell out of love with the source material you pack up a decade plus canon dude and start sanding them down away from the shit views of the creator. There's player character OCs, where you get to write your dude you played in an rpg. Many roads, same result.

Then there's some stuff I've seen recently that is baffling to me.

People filing serial numbers off of a popular FC's role and claiming that Blarbo, the 6'3" chainsaw wielding vampire clown whose FC is internationally recognized white man du jour Large McHugebig written for the Murderous Mimes of the Multiverse fandom, is totally different to Blorbo, the 6'3" chainsaw wielding vampire clown whose FC is internationally recognized white man du jour Large McHugebig, from the Murderous Mimes of the Multiverse film series. People can't actually think that's original content, surely. That's very clearly the same character with token adjustments. Why would you not just play Blorbo with some divergences or personal lore?

Or people who have purported to write OC concepts off of barely fleshed out canon elements, which is usually one of my fav OC bases... Except wait, that's literally a canon take on that concept from an extant adaption. Yes, Count Blorbinski's wife is an unnamed figure in the original novel, but the 1999 anime 'Blorbinski's Bouncy House of Doom' said her name was Blorbentina. How... Coincidental that your OC for Countess Blorbinski is also named Blorbentina. And has the exact same backstory and dynamic with the Count as from the anime. And you use the 1999 design for the Countess as her FC -- This isn't an OC, as much as you keep saying it. Bouncy House of Doom is one of the most popular anime out there too so how did you think this was going to work? Again, why would you not just play the 1999 version of this character instead of presenting her as your own creation?

More and more often I see 'ten years ago this would have been an AU/fandomless blog for a canon but today we pretend this is original content' blogs pop up. I feel like if I rolled up with a Calishite Warlock named Cal'aydin who was bonded to a wind spirit and was fighting depression after his brother's death as well as the forces of the BBEG, you guys would righteously call me on 'this is K*ladin St0rmblessed reskinned for D&D. You didn't come up with any of this.' But more and more I see 'original content do not steal' except? It's already extant IP with one or two concepts changed to suit the mun's tastes. Everything else remains very clearly the work of [insert household name creative of the 20th-21st centuries here.]

It amazes me how often I see these blogs pop up, and just how popular some of them are. I cannot wrap my head around it. Like, it's their blog, they can do whatever, as long as they're not profiting off someone else's creative labor it's not a big deal. But it is one of those 'has become more common in the community lately' things that makes me want to stand up and ask 'is anyone else seeing this or am I just going crazy?' I feel like I'm in the minority by not caring for this trend/new definition of 'original character' just based on how often these blogs cross my dash.

I am a trans man in my early thirties. super communicative, the creative type, I dom as a hobby and gravitate to mostly writing top-doms, or at least dominant bottoms. Hey!

This is my first ever post on Tumblr, so yay me.

I’m looking for some roleplay partners for mxm romance. I know no one wants to waste time reaching out only to be met with incompatibility, so I’ll put everything out on here and you can respond as you see fit.

1) I have quite a bit of experience roleplaying and would really like the same in my partner. I do not have a writing limit, because some scenes are more fast paced and better with short responses, but I do write a lot and would appreciate a partner who matched this. With this, I expect my partner to be able to write from a single paragraph -> passed character limits.

2) I will always write in third person and am far more comfortable with a partner who does the same.

3) I will only accept 18+ partners as this is a. a romance and b. I roleplay NSFW content.

4) I am a switch, but only willing to play as a top or bottom, dom or sub. This said, I love characters that don’t fit the stereotypes of the position.

5) I highly prefer fandomless roleplays and oc x oc relationships. I am a fiend for world building and get very excited to build up the world around our OCs.

6) I have plots of my own, but love other ideas. The base plot will need to be discussed, but it’s bound to take a life of its own. With this said, major plot points are best done when previously discussed.

7) My triggers include mental illness, non-con, and cheating. The mental illness piece can be discussed, but I need to build up trust between myself and my partner to feel comfortable with it. Different people handle these topics differently and I try to be very careful with the way I approach them in my work for my own health.

8) On this note, I do roleplay more violent scenes if the plot involves action. My description can vary depending on my partner’s comfort.

9) Sometimes it feels like the roleplay is dragging and you aren’t as excited to respond. I will give my partner the respect of discussing it and coming up with solutions and I expect the same in return.

10) I have my own OCs and would love to see yours! Please have a fully fleshed out character. If you use someone else’s art for the face claim, have the artist’s credit.
