Answer the questions and send this to someone else if you want.
1. Its said during a moment of passion when they think they’re both about to be offlined in a deadly explosion that will take everything out for miles surrounding it. They look into each others optics and say if together. They survive, but they wanted the other to know what they have is real.
2. Soundwave makes energon in the morning while Rodimus makes energon at night. Soundwave gets his peace and quiet and Roddy entertains the cassettes while cooking and giving Soundwave a moment to himself.
3. Roddy is an afternoon person while Soundwave is a night owl/before people wake up morning person. The moment he makes contact with people outside his home he’s angry and needs caffeine energon.
4. Soundwave is little spoon because he likes to rest his head on Roddy’s thick thighs and its painful for someone to be on Rodimus’s spoiler.
5. They both love it. Soundwave likes rodimus warm touch and Rodimus needs to feel Soundwave/hear his spark beating.
6. Since Rodimus has a fire outlier Soundwave cuddles up to him instead of the blanket since Rodimus is warmer.
7. Rodimus.
8. They both do. Soundwave silently sobs and Rodimus hugs him. Rodimus sprays out fire when he has a nightmare.
9. Soundwave actually has a sweet tooth and Rodimus likes spicy or sour fuel.
10. Soundwave is not affected by horror movies and the jump scares get Rodimus sometimes but Rodimus loves romantic movies while Soundwave tolerates them.
11. Soundwave is tall and Rodimus is tall when he becomes a prime.
12. Rodimus.
13. Soundwave is in private affectionate and believe it or not so is Rodimus. He’ll be close and talk a lot in public but he saves romance for at home.
14. Soundwave uses Roddy’s name and Rodimus calls him by his name too. In private Rodimus says babe and Soundwave says my love.
15. Rodimus likes picking Soundwave up.
16. Soundwave has money and Roddy has full access to the account.
17. Soundwave. He proposes first and Rodimus reveals his plan but he kept getting too nervous to do it.
18. I know a lot of people like them switching, i personally like rodimus subbing & soundwave dominating. Rodimus would vavle dom 100%.
19. Soundwave. He will offline someone for trying and Rodimus will look so judgmental at someone touching him because he does not like to be touched.
20. Both.
21. Soundwave does not like getting out of berth. He likes the morning quiet but he hates leavimg the berth. It was a rule on the nemesis to not bother soundwave before he left his habsuite unless an emergency. Everyone followed that rule. Everyone.
22. Rodimus is amazing at making spicy and home made fuel while Soundwavs is amazing at baking.
23. Rodimus. He’s afraid of being forgotten and that soundwave will eventually realize he can do better & leave him.
24. 100% Rodimus sexually, legitimate wrong timing on Soundwaves part because he didn’t know Rodimus was on a mission and Rodimus forgot to tell him.
25. Soundwave will cry but deny it and Rodimus hides his face the entire time because he doesn’t like crying.
26. They let it come out naturally after the war is long over. They’ve been conjunx for over a million years, conjunxed a bit before the war started and have been conjunx since. Their friends find out when they catch the two shopping together.

Top 10 Myths About Transformers Debunked
Hello, Transfandomers. I decided to do a post that debunks several Transformers myths. Note that I will not concentrate on any myths involving pairings because the orientations, love interests and relationships vary from universe to universe. Plus, 95% of them are up for debate even when the orientation of a character is confirmed because it merely leaves out who they cannot be attracted to no who they might be. I have also omitted the “Ratchet was once a Decepticon” myth because I have an entire article debunking that silly rumour. Anyway, onto the list.
1- Starscream is secretly a femme or at least was one at one time. - While some versions of him have an unusually high pitched voice for a mech, this myth is complete nonsense. I have nothing against female Seekers or transgender people, but Starscream is and always has been a male.
2- Megatron was once a Prime. - While Megatron and Optimus are brothers in the Michael Bay movie series as least, Megatron is not a Prime and never was one. He merely adopted the name “Megatronus” who was a Prime according to Cybertronian culture in the beginning. While it is possible that he might be a long lost member of the “Prime royal family” that still doesn’t make him a Prime or a potential heir to the Autobot Matrix.
3- Bumblebee is a child. - A lot of fans have fun believing Bumblebee is a kid and his height as well as his baby face make him look innocent, he isn’t a kid. In human years, the youngest Bumblebee has ever been was a teenager including in the Animated series. A very short teenager, but nonetheless, a teenager.
4- Arcee is Wheelie’s mother. - No she isn’t. In fact, I don’t think Arcee has any children as of yet. While Arcee would probably make a very good mother and has formed a motherly bond with Wheelie and has practically adopted the boy, she isn’t his actual mother. In some continuities, she is at most his aunt though.
5- Optimus is secretly evil. - While I admit that I am one of the few fans who is open to the idea that Optimus is not as saintly as he lets one and may have some vices, he is STILL as good as gold. He doesn’t have an evil wire in his body. The closest thing to an evil Optimus there will ever be are the Shattered Glass version and his evil twin Nemesis Prime.
6- It is all Hot Rod’s fault that Optimus died. - While the animated movie misled us to believe this, the comic version cleared the air that no matter what would have happened in that moment, Megatron still would have shot Optimus because Optimus wouldn’t have shot Megatron. If anything, Hot Rod tried to prevent a disaster that was just destined to happen. In other words, Optimus was just meant to die that day. It is no one’s fault. Moreover, even without the shot, Optimus was horribly injured to the point of leaking oil, energon and electricity. Heck, even his robo-guts were hanging out. He was going to die no matter what.
7- The Seekers are all siblings. - The only continuity of which the Seekers are sort of related is Animated of which they are all clones of Starscream. In all other continuities, the Seeker style armour is a uniform hence why they all look alike. They are not biologically family.
8- Animated Blitzwing is German. - While his accent sounds European and it is hinted that Transformers have multiple languages, it is impossible for Blitzwing to be German because Germany is a country exclusive to Earth. While it is possible that Blitzwing was born on another planet, it wasn’t Earth. His German sounding accent is just a coincidence and a case of the makers having some fun.
9- Transformers cannot eat human food. - Out of all of the myths, this one is the most understandable. It is true that Transformers don’t get any nutrients from eating human food, but as shocking as it sounds, they can eat it! Though in their case, they eat for fun kind of like the gem Amethyst from Steven Universe does. Their digestive system consists of a literal furnace so it literally burns everything they eat. Human food would easily burn up. In fact, some Transformers have even been known to take liking to specific foods like coffee, sweet or alcohol. In some continuities, it is hinted or speculated that Optimus Prime himself sometimes eats sugar cubes straight up as candy. I am guessing they still need to brush their teeth after though.
10- Kup is Rodimus’ dad or at least his grandpa. - While he acts like a mentor and father to Rodimus, Kup and Rodimus are not even related let alone parent/grandparent and child. They don’t even share any resemblance that hints they could be related. Moreover, Kup is not even a member of a the Prime dynasty. He’s but a humble soldier. If anything, Rodimus has often always been hinted as to having a relation to Optimus either as a distant cousin or nephew. I wouldn’t even be surprised if one day, one series will present Rodimus as Optimus’ son.

Tfa character review! (3/12)
Sentinel!!:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hmmm. Hmmm. Where do i begin. I went on a journey with this guy. At first, i liked him because i got his motivations. Elita affected him to the point where Optimus just triggered him. I thought if he met Blackarachnia, he'd break. He'd say that despite her looks, all that matters is that he missed her. Then i was hoping that despite this, she'd still resist being an autobot again. But no. He straight up tried to kill his old friend. He played with my emotions and im not standing for that. He's terrible. Unaccepting. Bitter. Selfish. Rude. There is nothing redeeming about him. No amount of humor can redeem him. Optimus being kind to him, is something he doesn't deserve. He didn't deserve Jazz, his status, or the twins.
Verdict:0/10. Terrible. Just absolutely terrible. He'd make a better villian than a good guy. If you bring him home, you're parents will be concerned for you. He will drink your beer, punt your dog, and leave the toilet seat up. He's terrible. I can only realistically see someone dating him if its for status or power. Don't put yourself through that. My followers deserve a Jazz.
Blurr!!;
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Aka Sonic the hedgehog's understudy in the new movie. He runs as fast as he can talk, but despite this, hes not completely scatterbrained, but is quite the intelligence agent! He didn't get much screen time in the show unfortunately, but what we did see, was that he was well as giving an explanation (if you could keep up), and rolled with the punches. Plus hes cute.
Verdict: 7/10. Im sure id like him more if he appeared more. He's cute though, and i was amused anytime he was on screen. Bring him home if you'd like, but you're parents will probably ask if hes on anything. Is top notch at grocery shopping for you though, so they deal.
Jettwins!!;
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The most slav boys!!! They didn't get as much screentime as they deserved, but they made do with what they had. They are the MOST cheeki breeki boys I've ever seen! Always in sync with each other, ready to throw down, not only can they transform into the BEEFEST boy around;
Tumblr media
(Aka Safeguard)
But they can summon the power of fire and wind at their disposal. They are eager to please, and are incredibly polite to their superiors.
Verdict:9/10. I wish they had more screentime, but they were ADORABLE in the series. I loved every moment these two were on, and they didn't deserve working under Sentinel. DEFINITELY take them home. They will love anyone, and although a bit goofy and a bit broken with English, everyone is sure to love them!
Warpath!!;
Tumblr media
(No second form available)
Warpath!! Im more familiar with him in the game earth wars, but the personalities contrast greatly. This one here is essentially the reason why many bots say "Fuck the police". Hes rough with his prisoners, and he was legit reasy to fuck up Prowl purely for being a little shit. I mean id still fuck because he has the LONGEST titty ever and he is CHUNKY. (And rumor has it he's dating Flareup. Ask Tracks for details)
Verdict:i cant say much??? He was in one episode and was an ass?? So 5/10 purely for the gerth. Dont take him home, you're folks will worry about you.
Rodimus prime!!;
Tumblr media
(No second form available)
Hotty Botty Roddy!!! I squealed when i saw him! Boy is SUCH a pretty little twink who is ready to defend the bridge till the very end. Leader of team Athenia, he showed no hesitation NOR fear in his battle against team Chaar. Barely had any screen time, but i was already impressed by him. I think this is a character i kind of just loved immediately.
Verdict;8/10. Hes ADORABLE. And he deserves the team he's in charge of. Tbh, id rather the Jettwins work for him than Sentinel, HE'D respect them. Definitely take him home, he's a good boy that'll fix things around the house without being asked.

Top 10 Unpopular opinions of IDW Transformers
This week to start off the countdown for the end of IDW I created a list of the top 10 unpopular opinions I had with the series. please be aware that these are just my personal silly opinions. And if you liked them or not. Then good for you for finding something I, myself couldn’t find or understand.
Warning it’s very long
1. I did not find TAAO all that enjoyable to read.
Do not get me wrong, TAAO is a decent series. I just couldn’t really get that into it. I have a couple reasons why I didn’t enjoy it:
Reason one (and the main one)- I’m not a big fan of stories revolving around politics. I just never find these sort of stories interesting and TAAO, which is a continuation of the Windblade series, is a story revolving around the politics and government of Cybertron, albeit with some good moments, similar to ex-RID and its continuation Optimus Prime.
The second problem I had with the series was that it did a lot of “tell don’t show”, where we are told through character POV narrations and dialogue that certain characters or actions are good/just or bad/evil, but aren’t given much proof or present day story events or arcs that cement said claims. For example, with Elita-One we’re told she’s dangerous and shouldn’t become leader of Cybertron, but has barely done much of anything to prove these claims except being intimidating and saying “half-truths”/letting people believe lies. While these actions do raise caution, they don’t make her any worse than any other leader *cough*OPTIMUS!*cough*.
The third problem I have with the series was the ending. Yes, I know the series was being cancelled by executives, but the ending with Windblade winning the election didn’t feel earned. While she was the least twisted of the candidates, but she never truly developed past or overcoame many of her flaws that she started with to become the leader Cybertron and, by extension, the colonies. Also, she only won through Starscream’s self-sabotage. While some of these problems could have been fixed if the series wasn’t cut short, I felt Scott should have handled the ending a bit better.
2.  I don’t like Windblade
I know I’m going to be bashed and hated for this one but please hear me out. First I am a girl, a non-neurotypical girl with high functioning autism, but a girl none the less. Windblade’s gender and looks never bothered me- yeah, it was different, but not bad different. My issues with Windblade are just how the story treats her and her character.
In term of character, Windblade’s personality and morality/standards are all over the place. Though she is shown to be kind hearted and compassionate, Windblade has been shown to lie, cheat, and perform actions outside the law and authority only when she feels it’s necessary. Yet if somebody else does anything even remotely similar, she will condemn them for it. To describe her morality, it’s a subjective morality with double standards. For example: When Optimus went against the council to free the Joes [HA2] in order to save Cybertron in First Strike, Windblade condemned him for it, but during the TAAO annual she also went against the council to tell all of Cybertron about Liege Maximo. It also doesn’t help that Windblade easily forgave Chromia for not only bombing and killing a few people, but also for trying to teleport Metroplex to Caminus which would’ve killed hundreds if not thousands of Cybertronians as a result.
These issues with her character wouldn’t be as bad if the story didn’t gloss over it. This is where my main issue actually comes from: For every morally questionable thing Windblade has ever done, the narrative treats it as a good or necessary thing and she never truly faces any potential consequences from them. The worst thing that happened to her personally was Chromia going to jail and being tried for her crimes. Things like her cover up or her cheating in a race would’ve had big consequences if they were done by any other lead character. And, let’s be honest, if Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, or even Ironhide did even one of those things that Windblade has done, they would be chewed out by their comrades at best or become persona no grata to the public at worst if they were revealed.
3.   I don’t like Pyra Magna/Victorion
The reason I don’t like Pyra Magna is very simple- she’s a one note critic character. Majority of the time she appears, she’s complaining and bashing Optimus for everything he’s ever done or believes he’s done. Sometimes even criticizing him for doing something she was criticizing him for not doing earlier. Making it near impossible to tell what her ideals are, her beliefs, or even what values she holds close. Making her criticisms about Optimus weak and criteria for a “perfect” Prime all the more vague. She essentially complains just to complain. Also she’s a terrible hypocrite: In one arc she hates Optimus for manipulating the colonists for his own purposes, but then starts doing the same thing to Slide- feeding and manipulating the colonist into embracing her hatred and bitterness towards the Junkions who killed her twin, referring to her desire for vengeance as justice, thus resulting in Slide becoming skeptical and bitter towards Optimus Prime as well as harboring a hatred and a desire to kill all beings she views as enemies (like Junkions and humans). Also, while she hates Optimus, she views Prowl as an ally. Yep. PROWL- the one who literally sees people as numbers. Though whether or not she actually believes he’s a good person or their goals just align is unknown. In short, she’s the Autobot equivalent of Starscream.
Victorion isn’t much better. While her design and powers are cool to look at, she’s just Pyra Magna 2.0, but bigger. Her other components, the Torchbearers, individual personalities are almost nowhere to be found in there. Though to be honest the other Torchbearers didn’t have much personality to begin with. They pretty much served as Pyra’s comrades (or cheerleaders) who will pretty much always side and agree with whatever their leader says and participate in Optimus Prime bashing. The only things I remember is that two of them are sisters, two of them are lovers, and the single one Rust Dust is there. I’m not kidding this is literally all I can say about them as individuals.
4.   I don’t like the IDW version Optimus Prime.
To be honest, I don’t considered him an interesting or complex character in the slightest. IDW Optimus Prime, in my opinion, is a character who writers spend so much time creating flaws in an attempt to make “realistic”, they forgot to give him any GOOD characteristics that could balance those traits. He doubts himself constantly, gives up easily, and ditches his responsibilities whenever he gets the chance. I know what you guys are saying, “But didn’t Rodimus do some of that in the G1 cartoon?” Yes, Rodimus has done that, but there is one small difference between the two: Optimus has been leader of the Autobots for millions of years, whereas Rodimus JUST became leader recently. I can understand and even sympathize with Rodimus, forced into leadership because his actions indirectly lead to Optimus’ death and now he has to lead the Autobots while being in the shadow of Optimus and dealing with his own guilt, but Optimus has been like this since the war and never learned or developed past these traits [HA4] even after the war ended. Also, for all of Rodimus’ flaws, at least he showed more care towards the people under him than Optimus. In fact, every time something goes wrong, he leaves them when things couldn’t be any worse or when he’s still needed. I just find it impossible to imagine how this guy managed to fight in a war for 4 million years against Megatron.
5.   I don’t think Lost Light is bad or a bad sequel to MTMTE.
Lost Light really isn’t a bad a sequel or comic series in my opinion; maybe it’s because I focused more on comics where each issue has something going on besides the buildup for some climax. Don’t get me wrong, there has been build up for the Grand Architect and Cybertopia for a while, it’s just all the issues don’t feel like they’re only existence is to build up these two events. They have their own plots and arc where, while the buildup is there, it’s not in your face like some comics I’ve read in the past. Another thing I don’t get is all the hate for Robert using British words or slang when he writes- he’s from the United Kingdom, of course he’s likely to use words he’s used to hearing and speaking. It’s the same habit we do when any of us write: we use words and slang that are common to us.
As a sequel, Lost Light hasn’t lost a lot of quality to its predecessor. While some areas do feel rushed, similar to TAAO, it had quite a bit of executive meddling going on in the background. However, despite feeling a little rushed in some areas, it still pretty well written. Also, I know some people complained about how some of the characters have regressed or become worse in Lost Light, but remember, the cast was betrayed and were (albeit unknowingly) thrown at the mercy of the DJD, a 500 Decepticon army, and Overlord, then, soon afterwards, believed Megatron, the reason the crew betrayed them in the first place, abandoned them to stay in the Functionist Universe. Of course they’re going to have major issues and regress to old habits, it’s how some people actually behave after going through a terrible event like that. Rodimus in particular who has been betrayed and had friends/comrades dying as a direct result before in IDW, would want revenge, it makes sense. Also, the Lost Light is, by far, one of the few series that have a pretty good depiction of someone dealing with betrayal. Seriously, when the Rod Squad meet up with First Aid, Thunderclash, and Riptide, Rodimus is so angry at them, he just refers to them as Mutineer 1 and 2. It’s nice because while he still largely blames Getaway and wants to kill him, he still acknowledges their role in the mutiny as well. Most writers would have a character betrayed by a group only blame the one who caused it, but here Roberts shows Rodimus is angry at the rest of the crew for what happened, though not the same amount as Getaway.
6.  I don’t like the “Shockwave is behind everything” twist.
I always find the twist where one villain is directly responsible for everything messed up in the story to be a boring and bad twist. It makes everything that happens in the story feel kind of cheap; it makes all the things the characters have done, worked for, and/or struggled for in the past feel pointless because this one bad guy somehow planned for it. It also make the villain feel like a villain-sue to the point where when their actual plan is revealed, it feels almost ridiculous or stupid in comparison to all the things they had done just to get it to work. In terms of Shockwave’s plan itself: why? Seriously, he could have done so many things while trapped in the past, but decided to make sure everything happened the way it was written. Why? To prove religion is fake? I don’t know, but the things he claimed to be trying to stop, he caused them in the first place and his overall plan is so unclear and bizarre, I believe he’s just insane.
7.  I don’t hate Anode and Lug
They’re not perfect, but they’re not the worst either. They’re side characters with questionable morality, but they’re neither main leads or treated as these amazing always right characters. Yes, Anode had a main role in the first arc. Yes, she decided to resurrect her Conjunx, Lug. But 1.) It was to introduce new readers to the rebranded series, and 2.) If you had the ability to bring your loved one back, wouldn’t you do the same thing? After the 1st arc the two of them were regulated to the background, occasionally participating in B-plot antics. Also, Anode herself doesn’t bother me as certain other characters do because she gets called out on her antics and her antics makes sense for her character- she’s selfish and reckless, thinking only about herself and Lug. Also, compared to some of the other Neutrals introduced in IDW, they aren’t bashing the Autobots constantly during the comic- which, to me is a breath of fresh air. So yeah, while they’re not my favorite characters, they’re nowhere near my least favorite characters.
8. I do not hate the Hasbroverse idea.
I thought it was an interesting idea with a bunch of the Hasbro’s old toy lines sharing one universe with a chance to interact with one another. It’s just the execution of the Hasbroverse that sucked: bad writing, bad pacing, too many crossovers back to back, and unnecessary and terrible redesigns on several characters in an attempt to attract more viewers. While ROM, Action Man, and Micronauts were good additions to the TFs, the rest was not well managed or written. If the editors, writers, and the artists thought about what made these series unique and special and not what was trendy, they may have had an amazing expanded universe. But poor decisions in the writing and editorial departments messed up what could have been a fun and interesting expansive universe. If they tried to make another Hasbroverse in the future, I would give it another shot.
9. I did not enjoy the Autobot faction origin story.
I know the premise of the origin story was to create a morally grey story for both factions, but I felt all it did was make the Autobots out to be even bigger jerks than the Decepticons. I wouldn’t have minded having a few Autobots originate from less than stellar backgrounds, but majority of the Autobots who did show up in flashbacks were shown to be a part of the police forces who worked and aided the corrupt senate, or worked in a twisted institution that brainwashes anyone who was considered a threat to the government. With a few exceptions, almost every Autobot that was shown had either turned a blind eye to or actively participated in the messed up stuff the government was doing to its population. It’s not creative, it’s lazy. Though Barber’s and Roberts’ writing have made the group’s origin more tolerable and complex, the damage was done. And, if anything, it makes it even more baffling why anyone that wasn’t already a part of either group even wanted to join the Autobots in the first place.
10. All the terrible things that happened to the Lost Light’s mutinous crew was completely deserved.
Okay, I know the crew, with the exception of Getaway and Atomizer, did not mean to leave Rodimus and his allies to be killed by either the Galactic Council or DJD (which nobody, not even Getaway, was aware of), and when they learned what actually happened they were horrified. However, before the message they had several red flags about Getaway being a, while more efficient, bad captain. First, Getaway admitted about using the Nudge gun on anyone who didn’t agree with his mutiny. Soon afterwards they learn he also made a deal with the Galactic Council-you know, the ones that HATE technological lifeforms. Then, later on, we find out Getaway knew a faster way to get to Cybertopia: a series of quantum tunnels known as the Warren that he learned about while he was held captive by Tyrest. The twisted part about this was that one of the reasons for Getaway’s mutiny was how the quest was taking forever to find Cybertopia. So he knew a way to get to Cybertopia, but waited until after the mutiny occurred to share the information. And let’s not forget how no one they left behind was contacting them days or even weeks after the mutiny. Did they honestly believe none of them wouldn’t called or more likely yell (and swear) at them for leaving them on Necroworld?
To be honest, I think the reason why it took them so long to realize Getaway was bad was because once they admitted Getaway was in the wrong, then, by extension, they would also be admitting that they themselves were in the wrong too. It’s probably the reason why they didn’t try to contact the others all that time as well- they wanted to believe they were in the right so badly. Calling them would admitting to it as well, that’s why they waited. As a result, they ignored all the warnings and red flags surrounding Getaway until it was too late. Was what happened to them awful and terrible? Yes. Definitely. Without a doubt. But when you put a lot blind faith into someone who is shown to do questionable stuff you’re essentially asking for something bad to happen to you

4) Who is your favorite Transformers character and why? -- Optimus Prime will always be my favourite for a billion reasons, but mostly because I love that he’s a hero but would never self-proclaim so, and how he’s so powerful but also so gentle and kind. also Rodimus because he’s hot and funny lol, and Grimlock because he’s hot, strong af, and very ‘complicated’ (in my mind).
5) What are your special interests? -- uhmmm well i’m actually super obsessed with waterfalls and candles :P
6) How do you cope with stressful moments in your life? -- interesting question. and it depends on what i’m stressing about. i do internalize a lot. i either try to completely distract myself, or do the opposite and fantasize a scenario in my head where i can release my frustrations (ex: telling off at a rude customer). if it’s stress that i can’t really control, ex: late for work because bus was late, i just tell myself “it is what it is, you can’t change anything now, you just have to be late and explain yourself and deal with any consequences later.” Sometimes i just have to force myself to sit back and ask “why am i stressing over this? is it really worth stressing over?” and no it’s usually not!
7) Coke of Pepsi? -- is this a Borg designation?? lol jk. COKE all the way! although i do love the caffeine-free pepsi ngl
8) Favorite Starbucks drink? -- i don’t drink caffenated or any coffee-tasting drinks tbh, but i love their strawberries & cream frap or their caramal apple spice!!
9) Universal Studios or Disneyland? -- i’ve never been to either :`( but if i had to choose, probably Universal Studios!
10) If you can have any super power, what would it be? Why? -- flying. i’d love to fly, man. so much.
i think i’m supposed to think of 10 more ques and tag ppl but i am lazy today lmao sorry

so how about The Last Knight huh
HECKO I totally forgot to make that post about what I thought about Transformers 5 after I watched it whOOPS
so here they are now!! :0 it’s kinda long though. Sorry about that. Unlike my post about GOTG Vol. 2 that one time, for this one I just kinda wrote down some erratic notes about thoughts and reactions I had as I watched the movie, and then I kinda summed up my opinion about it overall down at the end?? so yeah. That’s how this one is gonna play out lol. Generalized running commentary style.
(fair warning: this WILL contain spoilers!! Like I can’t,,, , talk about it without giving stuff away lmao. If you haven’t seen the movie, and still want to and plan on doing so, I don’t recommend you read this!)
alright u made it past the spoiler warning so here we go!!
-  Quintessa gave me a lot of G1 Unicron vibes with the whole "I made you, you are mine to command" thing
- "Why do we tell these stories, besides the fact that dragons are wicked" girl same lmao
- I literally cannot. CANNOT. Take Barricade seriously. With those ridiculous "punish" and “enslave” branded brass knuckles. Buddy. My dude. Please chill. You're literally trying to be so edgy man just. Turn it down a notch lmao - Optimus literally didn't sound at all like himself at first?? It sounded like he had a different voice actor for those first few lines he spoke?? That was weird. It wasn't until the second time he appeared on screen where Quintessa was telling him about where the staff was hid was I like "oh wait yeah there's Peter Cullen" - the "Cybertron is coming" shot looked sUPER fake and green screened to me for whatever reason?? like idk I think it was the lighting they had on him but it was reALLY FUNNY PFFFFTT
- Bee swinging his legs on top of that roof was sUPER CUTE THANK U IM BLESSED
- Mohawk. Um. Who thought turning Junkrat into a Transformer was a good idea bc that’s literally all this dude is lmao
- What kind of name is Nitro Zeus. Im cryin. PRETTY SURE HE HAS THE SAME VOICE ACTOR AS THE ONE TIGER ALIEN FROM BEN 10??? I DON’T REMEMBER HIS NAME BUT HE WAS THE ONE THAT ALWAYS WENT "LEMME TELL YOU SOMETHIN". WHY DOES HE HAVE SHOCKWAVE'S FACE. IM SO DONE
- I like how they had the whole holoform bike thing going on?? like how Prowl's was in TFA and Arcee’s was in TFP that was neato - I WILL NEVER GET USED TO HEARING BUMBLEBEE SWEAR I S2G but the Siri voice thing was pretty funny ngl. I saw that in a trailer on instagram and didn't actually think it was actually a real scene that they kept I thought it was just made for that specific ad but nOPE IT WAS REAL LMAO - Megatron musing over Starscream's decapitated head oh my god liSTEN MAN PUT HIM DOWN DONT BE LIKE THIS COME ON - HI CAN WE TALK ABOUT COGSMAN I LOVE COGMAN A LOT I LOVE HIM HE WAS REALLY GREAT EASILY A BIG FAVE HE WAS SO ENJOYABLE TO WATCH I love how,,, ok heck I don't know this guy very well bc I didn't watch Age of Extinction but it's the green dude with the trench coat built into him,,, Crosshairs?? I think it's Crosshairs yeah but the fact that he called him a C-3PO rip off was fUNNY MAN that also got a good laugh outta me and he totally rekt his heckin finger lmao. He was rlly short?? that surprised me kinda like from the trailers it looked like he was pretty average human sized but nope he’s super short - BEE'S DOUBLE CHEST POUND FINGER GUN "ayyy my dude" THING WAS ADORABLE THANK U - THEY ACTUALLY WENT THROUGH WITH THE WHOLE EARTH BEING UNICRON THING HOLY HECK now that,,, that was really interesting. Didn't expect that. AND the whole Nemesis Prime deal?? OP getting brainwashed?? THAT'S why he's heckin evil nO WONDER MAN GEEZ I didn't think OP would willingly do all that to the earth just because. That makes me feel a lot better actually lmao - Soundwave!! Shockwave!! u guys are famous!! wow way to go im so proud of u!!!! - Hot Rod tho,,,, , oh boy he was a mess lmao. I only really know Hot Rod through MTMTE and the 80s Transformers movie so,, , not too too much to go off of, but he just was so incredibly DIFFERENT and off-putting from what I was used to that I honestly didn't like him so much?? I mean he was alright. Grew on me a bit more as the movie went on I think. He was ok. That time warp weapon thing he had was cool tho!! nice!! seemed kinda overpowered a bit but cool!! - COGMAN SPINNING AROUND IN A CIRCLE WHILE HE WALKED THE DOG WAS ADORABLE THANK U - you know that movie trope where he background music will become like a song on the radio and then a character comes and switches it off?? YEAH THEY DID SOMETHING LIKE THAT IN THIS MOVIE WITH THE EPIC WORLD-CHANGING ORGAN MUSIC AND I JUST. COGMAN GOING HAM ON THAT ORGAN HAD ME CRYYYYYYYIIINNG HE WAS SO INTO IT MAN OH MY GO D. I LOVE COGMAN THANK U THAT’S ONE OF MY FAVORITE TROPES AND IT WAS HILARIOUS GOD BLESS - HE CAN SING OPERA TOO IM CRYYYYIINNNG MAN JUST. PLEASE LET HIM HYPE UP THE MOMENT HE'S DOING HIS BEST!!!! - THE TABLE WAS WRITTEN IN OLD CYBERTRONIAN yknow if you could get Cyclonus down there he could probs read that for you no problem. Or don't actually. Please don't drag him into Bayverse oh I s2g nevermind nevermind - HEY MAN I LOVED THAT ROBOT HYDRA WOO BOY THAT WAS COOL and it's like?? a Combiner?? but not really. Burton just said the twelve knights combined into the dragon but I doubt they can all unfuse from that form lmao it was probs just a one time thing. So not a Combiner. Still cool tho. Robot dragons. SICK!!!!!! - HEY they did the whole Unicron's a planet-eating god thing this time around too wow. Neat. Listen man all I'm saying is I glad I watched TFP and bits of G1 and that 80s movie bc if not I woulda had no idea why Unicron was important lmao. That was pretty neat tho!! Interesting. Interesting. - OK BUT COGMAN LAUGHING AND SINGING "MOVE B!TCH GET OUT THE WAY" WHILE DRIVING 200 MPH DOWN THE ROAD WAS HILARIOUS WHAT A BLESSING THANK U - Surprisingly Bee seemed to be ok in that open water??? Hanging on to the side of a submarine?? I mean. Salt water man. Buddy watch out ur gonna rust plEASE BE CAREFUL
- speaking of which didn’t they say there was gonna be a submarine transformer in this movie?? like didn’t they say that in interviews before the movie came out?? I mean. We never saw that. It might’ve been that the submarine WAS a transformer but it never spoke, never transformed, nothing. Didn’t give any indication that it was uniquely Cybertronian aside from Vivian’s magic touch thing. Idk. That wasn’t explained so I mean. Hmm.
- Cogman can make sushi!! dang!! wow!!! bravo!!! - OP'S HECKIN INTERDIMENSIONAL BOOB POCKET OH MY GO D dang wish I had one of those lmao - THAT FINAL FIGHT WITH OP AND BEE THO AAAAAAAA OH MY GO S H HECKO MAN!!!! OPTIMUS RIPS OFF BEE'S DOOR WINGS MAN!!! GEEZ!!!! what I wanna know is like since when did Bumblebee have a hammer lmao. Like,, , is it supposed to the the Forge of Solus Prime?? When did he get that?? How and why?? I don't know and it was never explained but I mean. Why tho. - OH MY GOD BUT BEE'S VOICE!! IT ACTUALLY WORKED!!! DANG!! WOW BUDDY!!! AAAA!! IM GLAD HE'S OK!!! and that's all it takes to snap Optimus outta his brainwashed phase lmao ok then. Cool. Wasn’t what I expected him to sound like either but then again I really don’t know what I expected in the first place lmao - I feel a LOT better knowing Optimus didn't willingly wanna destroy the earth like. He was brainwashed. And when he snapped outta it he felt absolutely awful about what he did. I mean it felt like that whole plot point was rushed, a lot of this movie felt very rushed, but it makes me feel better at least lmao. Optimus I'm sorry man can I,,, , give u a hug or something man it rlly looks like u need a hug - "YOU CHOSE THE WRONG SIDE" OOOOOH BOY FLASHBACKS TO THAT CAPTAIN AMERICA CIVIL WAR BIT IN PRI.ME(3) LMAOOOO - CADE. BUDDY. YOU CANT JUST BLOCK A SWORD LIKE THAT. THAT WAS A KILLING BLOW DEALT BY A GIANT ALIEN ROBOT I DONT CARE HOW SPECIAL THAT MEDALLION THINGY IS U CANT JUST DO THAT LMAOOOO. And then as soon as he whips that sword out the rest of the knights are like "oh wait yeah let's stop killing this guy we're chill now let's all point out swords together" lmaooooo - Crosshairs' "Love that guy. Goosebumps every time" line after Optimus gives his mandatory speech lmAO DUDE SAME - "You were by far the coolest" alright Cogman you ruined the moment a lil bit but man I still love u hecko - OK THIS IS GONNA SOUND REALLY STUPID BUT LISTEN MAN I'M GLAD THERE WAS,,,, , a lot of hand holding going on towards the end. Like fr. Cogman to dying Burton and Vivian and Cade as they were gonna jump outta that plane onto the Cybertronian tendril whatevers. Just. Small bits of physical reassurance and comfort in times of real great distress. I appreciate that a LOT more than like, watching two characters make out right before the big climactic final showdown lmao. Thank u movie wow I really didn't expect that - SO THERE WAS A COMBINER TEAM!! A COMBINER MINOTAUR!!! DANG NOT EVEN GONNA LIE THAT THING WAS NEATO!!! - Ok forget what I said about Hot Rod at the beginning he redeemed himself at the end. I didn't like him and first but now,, , now we chill. Granted I still can't see him as being HOT ROD bc he's just so different from what I know him as Rodimus but I can still appreciate him as his own character. Cool cool. - OPTIMUS RIDING THE ROBOT HYDRA INTO BATTLE AND BLOWING EVERYTHING UP WAS GREAT. MAN THAT WAS GOOD. "DID YOU FORGET WHO I AM" WOOOO BOY CHILLS MAN!!!! - OH COME ON they still made out. Lmao. Dangit. It was inevitable but I mean come on man. Alright. They kept it short and quick thank you tho if u had to put in a make out scene at least u kept it to a minimum. Thank you. Can we get back to the robots now pls. - AAAAA BUMBLEBEE'S "STING LIKE A BEE" LINE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA - that ending was pretty sudden lmao. A lot of this movie was sudden and fast. They just jump cut STRAIGHT to those credits man not even an ending panorama or clean slow zoom out shot or anything lmao - AND OH BOY THEY TEASED UNICRON’S GONNA ACTUALLY COME BACK AND APPEAR IN ANOTHER MOVIE AAAAAAA OH NO OH BOY NOT AGAIN GOSH DARN IT LMAO
All in all, surprisingly, I actually ended up kinda enjoying it!! Like it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!! Tbh for me it might even be second best in the series!! (First being the first movie from 2008 lmao) Honestly I was really REALLY surprised at how much I didn't hate it. Like. I still dislike it to a degree because it's still Bayverse, and I probably won't watch it again unless I'm with friends (like I do with the rest of the transformers movies) but it honestly wasn't too too bad! It really exceeded my expectations as far as plot, and I wasn't hardcore cringing for most of the movie so hey that's a plus!! The movie had a lot of genuinely funny moments, especially with Cogman, which got some pretty good laughs outta me like I was really having fun at those parts!! Optimus’ absence for most of the movie didn’t sit well with me for some reason. Like it just felt strange. But it kinda had to be for the story to move forward so I guess I can forgive that lol. The pacing was REALLY whack and way too fast though. Like they were REALLY trying to cram a whole lotta stuff into a relatively short amount of time. The movie's almost two and a half hours long but it really didn't feel like that because of how fast the pacing was. Some of the dialogue felt really forced because of this issue too. It didn’t feel genuine sometimes. But that has to be like, pretty much my only specific issue with it?? surprisingly?? wow. I'm honestly super shocked lmao dang man I didn’t think I’d like this movie at all but I was very much proved wrong!! I hated those old ladies tho and their obsession to get Vivian a boyfriend and the whole innuendo thing. Yeah. No. Don't do that. Stop. I'm too ace for this.
anyways yeah those were my thoughts sorry that was so long lmao whoops

Hasbro Applies for a New Trademark
News? Yes. Surprising? Not in the least. Hasbro has applied for a trademark for the following “symbol” which is comprised of half of the Autobot First Face and half of the Decepticon Revolutionary Crest (not an official title) split down the middle and combined into a single emblem. It’s cool, I’ve seen it before, and Hasbro should snatch this up for no other reason but to own it. But, could it be something altogether different? We discuss it.
IDW Transformers Comics are Now Available on the Hasbro Toy Store Website
A terrific addition to this really cool store that I browse way too often without actually buying, the Hasbro store is now selling Transformers comics from IDW. Some great selections, including both Drift trades, a couple of Windblade titles, the Bumblebee trade, Combiner Wars collected edition, and more. Check out that store here and go shopping.

The Other Thing
The big Toy Fair event took place in New York City a week or so ago, and we’re just now getting around to talking about it. We talk our favorite stuff from ALL of these great franchises, but mostly Transformers stuff. Hasbro came out swinging with the TF stuff this year. But there was some Joe and other merch worth talking about. So we are.

So we are.
