i'll make a long post abt him later when i'm not busy but holy shit that guy is tragic. bullied teenager working a shitty job meets a mentally unstable scientist from tennessee who tells him he can fix all of his problems by erasing his memories (his version of alcoholism ig) and destroys this kid's life forever. literally like ivan joins his cult and ends up devoting his whole life to it.

then he loses his identity and ends up more of a husk of himself than he already was. he's ended up in the same place as the man who ruined his life. except that guy gets closure and a happy ending, and ivan just. disappears. yeah cool i can be normal about that

OKAY LAST ONE AS I AM LITERALLY IN CLASS. i was never super into the books (they're good, i just--honestly i preferred the tv show; i'm a strong proponent of "the screen adaptation is NOT always worse you CRETINS" + i just enjoyed it more, especially the characters of harry and bob specifically. especially bob holy shit literally could talk about tv!bob for hours, one time my thesis advisor made the mistake of asking and. ldkfjg.) but i remember the character of mr marcone being particularly interesting and like. prevalent? so i guess i'm wondering how you might have integrated him into the tvverse had you gotten another season(s) 🤔

Marcone was in the original script for STORM FRONT (the pilot that became like, episode 7), but he and Toottoot and lots of other fun stuff got cut for time and budget.

so I watched Pokémon as a child but havent interacted with the franchise in like decades? So when I saw your pfp I thought it was like … fanart of the toottoot penguin who does crafts for their mental health. (You know the one?) And possibly was named lulu? Anyways ive now learned it’s a Pokémon!

I have literally no idea what the toottoot penguin is but I am indeed someone who does crafts for their mental health. Honestly I don’t watch Pokémon and haven’t since I was very little, it was only on in the very early morning so I’d wake up specially at 5:30 to watch it. I was mainly into the key ring collection because I went on holiday to France when I was about 4 and there were all these 1 euro Pokémon machines that you got little surprise keyrings from and I was gifted a piplup by my friend who’d spent all her money trying to get a pikachu. After that I just drew pictures of piplup all the time. My love for piplup exceeded far past my love for Pokémon and piplup was frequently included in my make belief games as a child. I still have my little piplup keyring :) and I’m gonna have to check out the toottoot penguin

What is the changeover playlist?

Who made it?

Short answer: we dont know.

Long answer: It's on John Delf's (I personally would like us to be calling him DJ Elf) spotify account, who is a sound engineer / tour manager / I think overal sound guy at Louis' tour, and owns a recording studio in Cheshire as well (we - as in I got this from @theirloveisgross - also noticed the addition of a small band from Cheshire that he's also following on there - Deja Vega - a quick search shows me hes the producer on at least one of their tracks). The playlist was noticed somewhere during Louis' tour, seen frequently on a screen at the sound booth or whatever its called sorry :) at the shows, and songs have been added there that have been played as the one post-show / exit song tune, so the changeover from show to gtfo lol. It's got a lot more songs than have been played post-show, so my best guess is its a dump playlist for whoever has an idea for a song to be played after the show, including Louis first and foremost and well as the band, but also the sound guys like DJ elfman himself. There have been some funny additions that got removed again, but we dont know who put them there and for what reason they get deleted again etc. But when we discovered it and were debating whether it was legit and louis and whatever, within a day Louis followed John Delf (and oli sound, another sound engineer who also posts a lot of pics in which the playlists can be seen, and how we were trying to figure out the playlist before finding it lol) on instagram and then the playlist went private for a bit. Not sure if that would mean anything at all as always, and also why is it always the soundguys where it gets funky literally the same as well like hes been with louis since 1d - although i think he was closer to 5sos - also mans got tweets up about the bears dkjdkjd, but it at the very least seems like louis is aware of it and that were looking and listening. The exit songs being played have been a mix of stuff already on there for a bit and ones that were a suprise and then added to that playlist later, so again my guess would be that the played exit songs are a mix of specific ones chosen by louis and/or the band and for whatever small or big reasons, or picked from the available (and maybe approved by louis/band) pool of options that is this playlist if no specific ones are picked for that night, something like that. This playlist is different from the pre-show one, which has been a copy of louis' tour bus playlist during at least the last shows he's done, which I have been told was put together by Louis and band. But still even if it's not all Louis there I think IF Louis would want to simply rec or worse some specific over the top whatever toottoot song to be seen by a portion of the fanbase this is a simple but effective place to put it.

But yeah a playlist of potential exit songs that's what I think. If anyone has any corrections or additions feel free to add.

Im seeing some toottoot lemme add that Maison Margiela, of which a book is in front of the TV in Harry's deleted story, had a chess inspired collection last year (i'm not sure of that's in that book, I can't find the one, but heres a similar one), I guess one can at the very least tiny safe tootoot that harry too is fascinated by chess.
