I have done my best to make this Toot very accurate to the Urbz - and emphasizing the cartoony nature of that game. It is version 1.0, so improvements may come later - namely making a simoleon bra - but other than that I think she is def good enough to share at this state.

There are differences between the renders of Toot and her in-game appearance. I chose to focus on the latter.

So I gave her purple lipstick and a more geometric necklace. I also chose for her to only wear sunglasses in hot weather, mainly so these screenshots would have a face showing ;)

What's that, you say? A touch of black has crept into our white costumes? Oh, just ignore it. I'm sure it means nothing.

This movie is set somewhere between 1900 and 1910, but this costume really just suggests it without going for strict historical accuracy. I'm pretty sure boas like that were not for day wear, and just what is that thing on her head? Nevertheless, it's cute, and good for dancing in. Looking at this in comparison with a couple other costumes from around the same time, I'm getting the feeling that piping was a popular thing around the end of the 1960s.

Notice the faint polka dots on the bow on the bodice front!

"Toot sweet" is not an expression I have ever heard. It was apparently gnabbed from the French in the first World War. From Julia Landmann's 'Twentieth Century Borrowings from French to English'.

Like saying "vamoose" but wanting to be fancy about it. On why Veronica uses it here -- they are going to see a French dress shop owner.

Yes, this is where they pool their money to buy Miss Grundy a wedding gown because a misheard conversation has lead to the belief that that is all that stands between Grundy and Weatherbee's marriage. I am a little ponderous on the recoloring for Jughead's sweatshirt -- bubbled around this and the primary red a little (drop in a yellow one here and there), but I guess we don't want it matching Betty's dress.

it can be annoying when a creator successfully writes complex, emotionally realistic characters in mediums or genres that don't traditionally have complex, emotionally realistic characters, because the fandom is frequently very black-and-white about their views on a character - not even necessarily because the fans are malicious or thinking uncritically, but just because they're not expecting the medium/genre to have such emotionally complex writing and are unused to approaching it in a critical manner. which is how you get webtoons comment sections insisting that a character who's in the middle of a messy character arc needs to be dumped/jailed/publicly humiliated or youtubers complaining about intentionally flawed characters like they need to be completely rewritten to be a "good character" instead of *gasp* flawed
