Like, bestie, I have so many questions- What was the goal here? Was he trying to pull a Luka and get rid of Mizi? (I hope not ;-;) Was he friends with Till at this time?

It's scary how many similarities he shares with Luka, they both have selfish, messed up ways of showing their love and trying to get their person to notice them. However, I do believe Ivan is at least a bit more ''human'' than Luka in some ways. I'm excited to see if we get to learn more about Luka's past (could he have come from a lab of some sort?) and hopefully we get to see a confrontation with him and Hyuna.

The way how I can tell on how many people characterize Wally Darling and a handful other of characters is from the Alice in Wonderland au

I just think on how interesing the fandom characterizes the WH characters by what the fandom persumes as WH barely scratch the surface on what it really is. And that Clown’s Alice in Wonderland post made me understand the characters more.

Who's the cold caller?

That's Percival Wrenchit! A department-transfer Cold Caller who's working under Chip Revvington as an intern. Ignore the fact ey aren't in any official records. Or that eir intern position seems to be unending. Or that eir last date of work was in Sellbot HQ in 2018. Or that you never see Perry and Percival in the same room.

In all seriousness, Percival is Perry...'s cog disguise. Custom-made with the help of a certain Mr. Fear and Loathing in order to make it look as authentic as possible, to be undetected by even the greatest of toon-sniffing scent detectors. Of course, Mr. FaL's intentions maaaaay have been a little iffy. Being able to keep Perry in C.O.G.S. Inc... maybe get em to be an official hire... and Perry, being how ey were, was stuck with an office job for a while. This... maaaay have led to a few identity crisis's where ey kept forgetting ey're a toon, but this was way back in 2018.

Present-day, this disguise made a come-back... in the form of Mr. Revvington getting a bit too upset over the fact that this strange, silent critter has somehow been getting his brother's blessing for two weeks, yet all ey're doing is just standing like a statue in his office with eir eyes on the floor. Pretty sure ey've sweat bullets to the point the rug's had to be cleaned from something other than cake stains. Regardless, he eventually had enough and figured if Perry was going to be stubborn in visiting him, ey might as well make emself useful. He knows toons take parts in order to build their own disguises, despite the fact they always come out at the very least a little off, to at most straight into uncanny valley for the trained eye. At least this one's got more effort put into it. He doesn't want to see a critter in his office (despite the fact eir first tasks are things such as cleaning the halls, fetching him oil or cogfee, or retrieving certain documents that specifically have information that wouldn't be useful to the resistance. He has absolutely no trust in em at this point and thinks ey could very well be a spy. He's being smart about it.), not to mention the eyebrows that might raise. So shoving em in eir disguise and having em be a department-transfer intern is a good cover-up story.

do u have any thoughts about tiny toons looniversity?

It was fine! I grew up liking animaniacs more than tiny toons (personally, I thought them the more apt successors to the tunes compared to tiny toons, but that thought blurb is for another day). Whenever I watched tt I was more focused on the lt cameos.

So it’s funny that I had a better time with looniversity than the animaniacs reboot! I definitely enjoyed the slapstick. I also loved the introduction of VERY creative toon lore and had a blast seeing it incorporated into the show. laughter literally as the backbone of the endurance of toon dna? How some toons are drawn with a bounceback deficiency (because not all cartoons are funny?) brilliant.

I still disagree with the babs and buster sibling arrangement. It created cliched problems in the show that the core of their characters had no issues with in the original… such as babs and buster learning to develop themselves outside the tight bond they have?? like in tiny toons, they were a duo through n through (so much they had to remind the audience there was no relation) yet they had no issue doing their own thing with their friends. it’s just a weird problem to create to me, and tiresome for twin archetypes. I joked with some friends that the decision was made so that there’d be room for the inevitable buster/plucky homoerotic rivalry and??? Honest to god dead of ass I was joking but the damn show coined their ship name by like. episode two. 🤣 they blow kisses at each other and then say they hate each other n everything. It’s like they’re trying to be giving baffy but baffy is so much funnier and spicier that I really don’t care for whatever thing they wanna tease in the future (because we all know Jokes is as far as they can legally go) with those two😭

haha, tangent aside I liked looniversity because of the creative location and use of both tunes and tiny toons. I could tell the crew had so much fun with Granny, she stole the spotlight for me whenever she appeared on screen. There’s so much respect and love for the cast in this show, it’s great! Some jokes didn’t land, of course, but they didn’t fall so hard to where it interrupted the flow of the story. More like little hiccups. I wasn’t too hot about some episodes being tweened (different studios for different episodes I suppose?) and the quality of anim imo, suffered. I probably won’t binge the next batch and watch episodes as I feel like watchin em :D

Oh my god finally some appreciation for Beetlejuice’s femininity! He’s so unbelievably attractive as a woman and he’s the cutest thing when he’s Bettyjuice 🥺 I love that he can be Lydia’s brother/uncle figure while also being gal pals with her

Beej’s whole thing is being gross but like, he somehow finds a way to just be so extremely gorgeous in how utterly himself he is??? He’s so handsome as a man and she’s so beautiful as a woman and they could literally rock any kinda look with any combination of pronouns.

It makes me so happy seeing this ghoul trying so hard to be around Lyds in so many roles that she doesn’t really have around her much otherwise because I think she really needs someone who cares about her and actively stands up for her as a friend and a guardian. (Even if Beej can be a bit oblivious and act without thinking and stuff but he’s trying his best, he’s just a lil dumbass <:o) /pos)

And I think she also really needs someone who just emits this unrestrained energy of confidence in so many ways while still being a sensitive person? Beej, even if he tries to be gross and disliked, is such an oddly good person to just exist around cus he’s genuinely something to strive for??? He just has so much good to teach people about self-image by just being himself and I just- AUGH!!!!! I LOVE THE BASTARD SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!

The funny part of my Escaped From Home au is the fact that Gen and June are acutally sentient puppets who happens to recside at a part of Toontown. Like if Mob!Wally tries to scoop June’s eye out, the plastic disk will be ricocheting across multiple surfaces before being shot into Mob!Barnaby’s mouth. A part of the glue will remain on the space where the eye was removed. Poor Gen has to take her to the local Toon hospital to get a replacement
