What love can do in Meet You at the Blossom and how it can shape your life (after Ep 3 & 4):
It took me a while to write this post because I changed its title so many times. I wasn't sure I was conveying my thoughts properly. I wanted to write about the healing power of love between Huai En and Xiao Bao, but I had so much to say before so this title didn't work anymore.

It's not a coincidence you can find the same pattern in some of the characters from My Stand In and Meet You at the Blossom since they were written by the same writer. Huai En and Ming, both had shitty parenting when they were young and it mostly came from their father. More than Ming, Huai En was shaped by his relationship with his father. His mother and his father were childhood sweetheart who never got the chance to be together because she was taken away by Huai En's uncle and he made her as his concubine. We also learned Huai En was born out of wedlock. His uncle's legitimate wife was jealous and tried to kill Huai En and his mother. His father wanted to save them (mostly his mother I think) but failed and Huai En's mother died trying to save the father. Huai En and his father found a way to escape and he was raised to seek revenge for the death of his mother. However, it didn't make them close. Huai En's father seems to consider that his son is also partly responsible for the death of his mother. It's not yet explain why⊠but because of his bias Huai En's father unfairly treated his son. In episode 4, Huai En explains to Xiao Bao how his father beat and scold him during his childhood. Huai En had no other choice but to obey him âunconditionallyâ or he would suffer physical pain. We can also assume he suffered mentally too.

Huai En has been having recurring nightmares about the mistreatment of his father. He seems to remember vividly trying to avoid falling from a cliff and found no help from his father. Quite the opposite, he was also mocked by his father. It is likely something he had experience while he was young and that became so traumatic that he can't forget it. We could say that Huai En is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder since this event. A father is supposed to care about his children. That's what we naturally expect from any âgoodâ parents. It's hard to understand why his father thought his son should be responsible for his mother's death. We haven't had enough insight on what his going on in Huai En's father head. However, we know he is very controlling and don't let his son do what he wants in life. Huai En only purpose is to help him get the revenge he wants. Anything outside this is considered useless and unimportant. I don't think Huai En even got the chance to really know what he wants or dreams for outside this purpose. He doesn't get to voice his opinion or to have something just for him. He must live for his father's desire. It was shown during episode 4, when Huai En had a vision of his father telling me:
âRemember, you were born to redeem yourself for your motherâs sake. Donât harbor unworthy thoughts for anyone of anything. Understand? Donât even think of trying to escape. No matter where on Earth, you canât escape from my graspâ.
Iâm still trying to wrap my head over this fact. When Huai En told the story of how he was born, his mother was still alive. So I donât get why his father would be so hard on him when he is supposed to be the love fruit of the love he had for his mother. I wonder if his father is the kind of man who would value his spouse over his child. We know his father has an obsessive love for his mother. It wasnât just the âI want to avenge herâ it feels more like âshe was supposed to be mine and I lost her so I will enact my revengeâ. Huai Enâs father appears to have an overwhelming obsessive desire to possess and protect his lover and he has an inability to accept failure of keeping her alive. It doesnât matter if to get his revenge he has to hurt his own son. I believe this type of love is the only one Huai En had ever experience so he doesnât understand itâs not a normal or healthy way of loving someone. He must have avoided to be with anyone because the only love he knows is the one his father has for his mother. Love is a painful affair. It can lead to obsession and physical pain. Thatâs why he is so startled by Xiao Bao regular love confessions.
Xiao Bao had an entirely different childhood. His parents seem to have a healthy relationship and to love each other. Xiao Bao is their only son so they spoiled him and made sure he had a good life where he wants for nothing. You can see how they care for him and wants him to be happy. Since he was loved and taking care of, Xiao Bao grew up to be a nice person who is not shy to show his love. He never had to experience the âdark sideâ of love. For him, this is only a positive thing. He is also a very charming man; very genuine so when he fell in love with Huai En, he didn't dither and decided to pursue him. It didn't matter to him if Huai En wasn't the woman he thought he was. As long as there is love, it's enough for him. Compared to what Huai En is used to know about love, Xiao Bao's vision seems quite refreshing. Especially as they are in a time period where queer love was frown upon, Xiao Bao's view of love, gender and norms is fairly modern. He claims he will find a way of making their relationship being accepted by his parents. Why is he not afraid of claiming his love for Huai En, despite him being a man? It's because Xiao Bao is sure of his parents' love for him. This trust exists because he was raised this way.
[gif by guzhufuren] @guzhufuren
Xiao Bao may appear to be a fool, but he is more than what he seems. He isn't a great tactician or a skilled warrior, but he is knowledgeable when it comes to emotions. It was shown when he had a conversation about love and death with Xiao Bao. He admits that humans lives for emotions and desires and that you can be sad when you lose a loved one. However you can't be miserable all your life because of this. This vision of life is in opposition with everything Huai En has been taught from childhood. I would even say he was stunned. Xiao Bao understood that Huai En because of his past can't really understand what love is supposed to be and he is ready to teach him. I think he does have strong feelings for Huai En. He may pout or act silly sometimes, but when Huai En conceded if they were someone he truly wants to love, it would be Xiao Bao, it truly delighted him. He is not the kind of person to sulk for too long. He is so genuine and overjoyed. I'm not going to say it'll be easy for them. Even if Huai En despises his father's love for his mom and really wants to experience a healthy relationship, the way this love shaped his vision of life will have an impact on his relationship with Xiao Bao. You can quite see it when he is adamant about Xiao Bao having âno thought about othersâ or to never lie to him. This idea that Xiao Bao wants to be with him âforeverâ and not just be with him, kinda shows that his past will have an impact. However, I believe Xiao Bao's good nature may soften him.
[gif by ruanbaijie] @ruanbaijie
As he said himself to Huai En, his lover is âtough on outside, but soft insideâ.

Hii hope youâre doing well, I was wondering if I could request a criminal minds blurb where reader is Penelopeâs best friend and theyâve met for lunch in a cafe near Quantico, and reader is telling Penny about this new guy she hooked up with a few nights ago, reader tells Penny how big the guy was and then a few minutes later Spencer walks in and reader is like âP omg thatâs the guy!!â And gestures towards Spencer whoâs the only person ordering at the counter? I just feel like Penny would be equal parts both shocked and horrified that her sweet innocent boy Spence has a sex life but also that heâs HUNG?? I literally love you and all your Spencer works and I feel like youâd write this perfectly đ«¶đ«¶
this post is 18+, minors dni.
Penelope is absolutely enraptured by the play-by-play you're murmuring to her over the low din of the cafe's patronage. The whirring and grinding of the machines behind the counter only further aid in your attempt to keep your conversation private, and you can smell sweet strawberries on the bubbly blonde when you lean in to give her details.
"And he reached for his fly- ooh, Penny, the way his arms looked," You gush, remembering the thick veins that had corded his bone while he'd wrestled with his belt, "He whipped his belt out of the way, and- stop!" You urge her when she wriggles her brows at you, "He took his pants off, Penny, and I swear to god I've seen thighs thinner than that dick."
Her resulting squeal is much less hushed than you'd managed to keep the rest of your conversation, and you swat at the arm that's not holding her coffee. She gets the message but resorts to stamping her feet beneath the table instead, a repeated clicking that blends in much better with the mechanical whirring of the baristas' handiwork.
"He was so thick, and Jesus- Penny, he was long, too, just big all around," You recall, insides throbbing with a phantom ache at the memory of what you'd taken last night, "I swear he had me seeing stars," You sigh, glancing down at the pale pink ring of lip gloss around the mouth of your cup, "I'd beg him to come over again tonight, but I think I need a week to recover."
"A week," She breathes dreamily, "I could barely feel the last guy I had."
"Oh, I could feel him," You laugh, "It's like I still can, I'm pretty sure he bruised- oh fuck!"
"What?" Penelope's brow dips instantly, concern etched into her pretty features, "What's wrong?"
"It's him," You grip her hand, nails digging into her skin, "It's the guy from last night!"
"Big dick dude?" She asks, and your frantic nod confirms her theory.
She tries to be subtle, bless her, when she turns to see him, but when the only person that she sees standing in line for a drink is her coworker, her brain chugs along slower than normal.
Where's big dick dude?
Oh, Spencer's here!
I don't see big dick dude.
Spencer is-
You're not sure even the most talented actor could ever recreate the sheer horror swimming in her gaze when she turns to face you again. Her eyes are blown wide and her mouth, lined in a pretty fuchsia paste, is downturned in a grimace.
"Please tell me you're not talking about the skinny mess in the sweater vest."
"That's exactly who I'm talking about!" You gush, trying to avoid his gaze lest he thinks you're trying to follow him around, "Penny, isn't he dreamy?"
"That's- oh my god," She recalls your descriptions, thicker than thighs, longer than you've ever seen, "I have to resign."

hunger / damon salvatore x reader
i'm back !!! I needed to write a damon one-shot while I work on a new fic and this just tumbled right out of me lol
hunger / damon salvatore x reader
word count: 3.1k
warnings: everything??? drinking, swearing, blood sharing, oral (m and f receiving), unprotected p-in-v, a tiny bit of degradation?? this is self indulgant filth, seriously 18+ mdni
You ran a hand through your hair as you walked back and forth, unsure of what else to do with the restless energy surging through your system as you tried to fight one of your most basic, primal urges⊠hunger. Your fingers drummed against your thigh as you tried to focus on anything else, find something in your brain worth occupying your mind and switching course from the visuals running through your head. Your recent transition had been a shock to everyone, and Stefan had you on a tight leash to keep you in check⊠and youâd been on board, at first. You never wanted to cause harm, to be the reason someone elseâs life ended, but with the itch in your veins threatening to undo you completely you couldnât really find it in you to care anymore.
You heard your door push open and your head snapped up to see Damon walking in, two glasses and a bottle in his hand with an unamused expression, âif you donât knock it off Iâm going to have to replace the floor,â he said, setting everything on the dresser before pouring two generous cups of bourbon.Â
âNot now, Damon,â you sighed, ignoring him entirely as your feet remained on course.
âWanna talk about it?â he asked and you shook your head.
âNot really,â you said as he shoved a glass in your hand, his eyes telling you to drink which you did⊠all in one gulp and he was a little surprised as he took it to refill.Â
âWell, somethingâs gotta give,â he replied as you finished the second as quickly as the first. âAt this rate the bottle will be gone in a minute and Iâm not replacing original flooring.â He gripped your shoulders, halting your movements and you huffed, looking up at him.
âIâm hungry, Damon,â you said, as if it pained you to do so and he furrowed his brow.
âThe freezer is full- oh,â he cut himself off, realizing thatâs not what you meant as a smirk spread across his features. âYou want your blood at 98.6,â he said and you rolled your eyes, pushing him off you.
âWill you cut it out?â You poured another glass, hoping at some point the alcohol would subdue your cravings but you knew that was about as likely as him leaving you alone, so you tried another angle. âI canât⊠Damon, the blood bags arenât doing it for me, I canât think, I canât sleep⊠will you please take me out?â For a moment you thought heâd say yes, revel in the opportunity to feed with abandon with someone else, but it wasnât that easy.
âNo can do, sweetheart,â he replied and your brows pinched. âIâve got enough on my plate without you losing control and giving me more bodies to deal with.â He was right, there was too much going on and you spinning out wasnât an option, but that didnât make it any easier of an answer to tolerate. He gave you a once over, it wasnât as if he didnât want to take you out⊠he would have loved to, but you were new and he knew you could eventually get to where he was, one day youâd be able to feed and leave them alive with no memory of what had happened, but that day wasnât today, you had a long way to go and he couldnât afford to have you slip up.
But⊠he couldnât afford to have you slip up. One look told him you were wound tight, the diet Stefan had you on was restrictive, never enough to fully satisfy, and the less you drank the tighter you spun, threatening a catastrophic snap he could only assume was looming on the horizon with how frustrated you looked right now. He ran through his options, knowing letting you sit in this hunger any longer would result in a much bigger problem, but the only thing he could think of posed another set of issues and would lead to him teetering on the edge instead of you.
He let out a sigh, closing the distance between you and plucking the glass from your hands to discard on the dresser and you looked up at him questioningly, the invasion of space catching you by surprise. His normally bright eyes were dark and swimming with something you couldnât understand, deep blue pools you found yourself getting lost in as you waited for him to say something. âYou need to feed,â he said and your eyes fluttered shut just at the thought.
âI need to feed,â you whispered and he nodded, catching your chin between his fingers and forcing your head back up when you tried to look down and the action had your breath catching somewhere in your throat.Â
âYou still havenât felt it, have you?â he asked, voice low and you shuddered. âWhat itâs like to sink your teeth into somethingâŠâ you shook your head, Stefan hadnât allowed you to drink anything that didnât come from a cup. âPoor thing,â he chuckled, he could feel the tension radiating off you in waves, you were practically shaking beneath him as you fought to retain your grip on your sanity, on your control.
âDamon,â you sighed, eyes pleading and he just smiled as he gripped your hand and brought it up to his neck, the pulse beneath your fingers driving you wild.Â
âWhen you feed you have to be careful⊠if you bite just along here,â he said, dragging your fingers along the vein, âyou can control the flow. It doesnât have to be messy,â he explained and you couldnât tear your eyes away from the subtle way his skin moved with each beat of his heart, the sight bringing the veins beneath your eyes to the surface, your fangs descending.
âDonât fight it,â he said, noticing you trying to rein it in, and you were having a hard time focusing on anything with the way his hands were trailing up your arms, pulling you closer. âGo on,â he tilted his head just slightly, âgive it a try.â he encouraged and this pulled your focus, eyes snapping to his as you tried to ascertain if he was being serious. You had a lot left to learn, but blood sharing was personal, and you knew that⊠but all you saw in those dark blue eyes was a fire simmering beneath the surface you were sure was a mirror image of your own.
You slowly reached onto your tiptoes, as if he were a deer in the woods threatening to startle and bolt, but the closer you got the harder it was to resist, anticipation burning through your veins at the prospect of giving in. Your fangs were tentative as they broke the skin just where heâd indicated, but the first drop of blood immediately made you feel dizzy and intoxicated⊠It wasn't enough. You quickly grew feverish, your hand wrapping around his throat as you surged forward, crashing into the wall behind you and he let out a grunt as his back collided with the hard surface, pinned in place as you fed.
âThere you go⊠thatâs it,â he said, leaning back as he relaxed and let you take what you needed. His arm snaked around your waist while a hand brushed the hair from your face, cradling the back of your head as warm blood radiated through your body. A soft groan fell from his lips as you drank from him, and the sound elicited an unexpected reaction from you, your hand tightening around his throat and your body pushing flush against his and despite everything in you telling you to continue, you forced yourself back knowing if you didnât stop youâd bleed him dry.Â
Your eyes were wild and satisfied as they met his, and he dragged his thumb across your bottom lip, collecting the remnants and you were almost surprised when your lips wrapped around him, ensuring you didnât waste a single drop. His smirk returned when he felt your tongue slide across his skin, âbetter?â he asked and you nodded, keeping him in your mouth for maybe a second longer than you needed to. The air was charged between you, youâd just crossed a line in the sand and you wanted to push a little further, go a little fartherâŠÂ
Part of him knew he should put an end to this⊠stop before it went any further. He knew it before heâd even offered up a vein for you, he knew as soon as he did heâd be teetering on this ledge and he didnât have that much self control when it came to you. Perhaps, if he really analyzed the situation, he knew somewhere in the back of his mind why youâd been so worked up, he knew what you needed and instead of letting you wreak havoc on the blood cooler he let you push him against a wall and take what you wanted, he let you feed from him in the most intimate way he could think of.Â
And when you were looking up at him like that, eyes mischievous and holding an unspoken challenge with his blood still on your plump lips, who was he to resist? Your chest was heaving with anticipation as you waited for him to do something, anything, and the movement was so fast you almost didnât register his hand curling around your throat, flipping you around and slamming you against the wall with such force you were sure youâd be dead if you were human. Your gasp of surprise was swallowed by his mouth on yours, searing and frenzied as he connected your lips and kissed you with a hunger that rivaled your own only moments ago.Â
You both fought for dominance, neither one of you willing to submit just yet but you were outmatched⊠he grabbed your wandering hands and pinned them above your head, grip so tight you whined as he kissed down your neck, biting into you the same way youâd done with him and you couldnât help the moan that fell from your lips as he did. Your hips rolled forward and feeling his hardening length against you gave you the surge of confidence you needed to break your hands free, sliding down his chest to pull his shirt apart, buttons flying and clattering against the floor as you pushed the fabric over his shoulders.Â
His lips were greedy across the expanse of your chest as he nipped and sucked the soft skin, tearing your shirt to shreds as he pulled it from you, a mess of fabric in your wake as you surged forward and pushed him into the wall opposite you, regaining your upper hand. Glass shattered on the floor around you as the force rattled the dresser but you couldnât find it in you to care what had broken as your hands pulled his belt free, fingers quickly undoing the button as you sank to the floor and pulled his jeans with you.
His length stood erect in front of you and you were quick to take him in your mouth, focusing your tongue on his swollen tip as your hand worked what didnât fit, and you couldnât help but moan around him at the groan that fell from his lips, âsuch a good girl,â he cooed, his sweet words undercut by the harsh hand in your hair gripping and pulling you closer, forcing you to gag around him and the sensation had his head falling back against the wall. Tears sprung to your eyes at the sharp pain in your scalp and the way he was hitting the back of your throat, but all you could focus on was the throbbing between your thighs and he didnât miss the way you clenched them together, desperate for friction.Â
You were quickly on your back, too caught up in the moment to bother moving to the bed and you pushed glass aside as he settled between your legs, tearing your underwear off and diving in like a man starved and you could feel his smirk against you at your surprised moan, head hitting the floor as your back arched in pleasure. He switched between your clit and your entrance, not giving either attention long enough to give you what you really needed, and you whined as your fingers threaded through his hair, tugging harshly.
âDamon, please,â you sighed, hips bucking against his face and he focused his attention on your sensitive bundle of nerves, tongue expertly working you up as you shamelessly moaned his name. Somewhere in the back of your mind you knew with the way you kept slamming each other against walls and the floor, the breaking glass, and the sounds falling from both your lips someone might come to make sure you were alright, but you couldnât find it in you to care⊠not when he felt as good as he did between your legs.Â
Your moan changed in pitch when he slid two fingers into your entrance and it went straight to his cock, his head swimming as he watched you come close to falling apart above him. When he crooked his fingers just so your grip in his hair tightened, pulling him closer as you started to grind against him, âfuck, just like-â you were cut off by your own moan when he started massaging that spot inside you, legs trembling as you careened off the ledge. His touches remained merciless as pure euphoria surged through your veins, your head cloudy as your body trembled.Â
âSo fucking beautiful,â he muttered against you, kissing his way up your body and you tugged him closer to reconnect your lips, tongues swirling against each other as you tasted yourself on him. His hands felt greedy and possessive as they roamed over you, gripping tight enough to leave bruises that would heal before they even had a chance to form, and it was as if neither of you could get enough. You pushed forward, tugging him up with you and all but throwing him onto the bed and his smirk was devilish as he watched you crawl on top of him.
He looked like he was about to say something but you didnât give him the opportunity as you kissed him, rough and demanding as your hips settled above his, hand reaching between you to line him up at your entrance and you both let out groans as you took him inch by inch. The stretch was sweet, filling you almost to your breaking point as you settled fully and started to roll your hips against him, shuddering at the feeling.
âFuck,â he moaned as you started to bounce up and down, setting an unforgiving pace and you felt like you could feel him everywhere, every nerve ending radiating with fire. He sat up to wrap his arms around you, hips bucking to meet yours in a way that had your head rolling back and he took the opportunity to sink his teeth into your neck and you had never felt pleasure like this before. His hand was firm around your throat as your body shook with each thrust and soon you were boneless in his lap, only able to hold yourself upright as he drank you in.Â
When he pulled back you licked along his lips, face changing at the taste of blood and he swore heâd never seen anything sexier. Neither of you was going to last much longer, not like this, and he delivered a rough smack to your ass that had you whining and rolling against him. âOh my god,â you breathed out, letting your forehead fall against his and he smacked again, gripping the tender skin, âDamon-â you tried, but nothing would come out.
âWhatâs that, sweetheart?â he teased, gripping your hair and pulling you back to look at him, âoh, look at you⊠all cock drunk and fucked out,â he teased and you had nothing to say as a firm thrust had you seeing stars. You buried your face in his neck, fangs sinking into his skin as you felt your release barreling towards you, the mixture of blood and his steady thrusts too much to bear and a streak of red trailed down your body as you came, only able to shout his name as you cried out.
Your grip on him was maddening, pulling him right over the edge with you as you milked him for everything he had, and when you both slowed to a stop you were having a hard time catching your breath, your mind floating somewhere above you as you tried to return to your body. You felt his tongue along your chest, cleaning up your mess as you leaned back and he tried to commit the sight to memory⊠your hair wild, cheeks flushed, and skin dewy as blood lingered along your skin.Â
You still werenât fully with him, stuck in a haze as you felt him whisk you into his bedroom, and into the bathroom and it wasnât until you were under the stream of water with him that you hummed contently against his lips as he kissed you softly, âthere she is,â he chuckled.
His hands were delicate as they roamed you, and yours slid down the front of his chest as you looked up at him, doe eyed and happy. âThat wasâŠâ you trailed off, unsure of what word to use to fully sum it up and he placed another soft kiss on your lips.
âEverything you ever dreamed of?â he provided and you laughed as you swatted his chest.Â
âHush,â you replied, feigning annoyance but you didnât have it in you to feel anything other than bliss. The rest of your shower was spent with wandering hands and sweet kisses, a stark contrast to how rough and domineering youâd been with each other and when he pulled you into bed and wrapped himself around you, you looked up at him as your fingers trailed along his chest absentmindedly.
âWhat are you thinking about?â he asked, and you flushed slightly under his gaze.
âIt was more than I dreamed of,â you answered, and he raised a brow in question. âI havenât⊠I hadnât done that since turning, I didnât know it could be like that,â you explained and realization passed over his features.
âMy god,â he chuckled, âno wonder you were wound so tight.â His hand on your back was comfortable, holding you tight against him as he rubbed soothingly, âweâll go on a little trip this weekend,â he said as you rested your head on his chest.
âA trip?âÂ
You felt him nod, âaway from all the chaos here⊠weâll find you some warm bodies and Iâll teach you how to do it the right way, you donât have to live a life of blood bags forever.âÂ
âI donât know, you seemed to do the trick,â you teased and he laughed.
âSweetheart, you have no idea what youâre missing.âÂ

hi bunny can i order banana bread with hard lemonade with max please. make it spicy. make it nasty. make it sloppy. make it fucking filthyđ©đ© i fucking love you and all your works and i trust you with baking and cooking
the bakery menu
want to order something? then browse the menu to see what we have! as for this order, i hope that there's enough spice in this for you! i ended up writing this a little stoned, so i hope everything turned out okay!!
banana bread ("i'm going to fuck that sweet pussy of yours until the only word your little brain can form is my name.") + hard lemonade (possessive behaviour)
cw: smut/pwp, possessive behavior, recreational drug use (weed), reference to smoking & drinking, dom!max, counter/kitchen sex, high sex
you liked parties. maybe, not all the time. but once in a while there was nothing like being surrounded by people and drinking the night away before you slinked off to bed to nurse the eventual hangover. max didn't mind that you went out partying. he trusted you to not do anything extremely stupid that would hurt you or your relationship.
there was one rule, no hard drugs. neither of you needed the trouble that came with too much of a mind altering substance. even if he let you go out to party, he still worried about you when he couldn't go with you. so for your best interest, no drugs.
but there you were, seated on top of the counter in max's kitchen while he dutifully made you a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. you were still in your party clothes with one of his expensive jackets around your shoulders. you claimed that you were cold. you kicked your legs against the cabinets under you.
you giggled a little.
he handed it to you on a plate and said, "eat." before he grabbed a (plastic) cup from the cupboard above the sink and filled it full of water. he handed it to you, "drink. slowly." then rested against the counter, keeping a stern eye on you.
his blue eyes were piercing as he made sure that you did what he said. you already caused enough trouble tonight. from what your friends told him when they brought you home, you had a few too many puffs of a joint. max didn't think that weed was the devil, but he didn't want you doing anything reckless without him.
as a result he had his very stoned girlfriend seated on the counter and happily eat a pb&j sandwich. he then got closer and rubbed your bare knee. he leaned in and licked a speck of jelly on the corner of your mouth.
he said softly, "you have to be a good girl for me. listen and behave. i know it's tempting to want to be like the others, but i need to keep you safe. what would happen if you took too much and someone tried to hurt you?" he kissed you on the lips, tasting the sweetness of your late night snack on your lips.
"i was fine, maxie." you beamed as you felt his kisses pepper your face. you giggled and squirmed, it was cute. you only called him maxie when you were very intoxicated.
he felt a curl of possessiveness in his gut as he touched your arms. you looked so good in his clothes. maybe next time you go out, he'll make you wear a little reminder of him.
"my poor treasure.' he said, "you just have to be the life of the party. now, is there anything else you took?"
you shook your head, "nope. nothing else, i promise. i felt too giggly after the joint and then i ended up back home. but, honestly, maxie... i want you."
he chuckled and ran his fingers through your hair, "oh i bet. i bet you thought about me on the ride home. you thought about my cock inside of you, i bet if left to your own devices you would've made a mess of the seat of your friend's car." he pushed up the skirt of the 'slutty' dress you wore that night.
you blushed and wanted to hide your face, which only made max chuckle. he pushed the skirt up further until your pretty blue underwear was on display for him.
he licked his lips, "tell me when to stop." he wanted to make sure that you weren't too high to know what was going on. he wasn't a monster.
you nodded and leaned forward to whisper in his ear. you said softly, "give it all to me, maxie." and kissed his ear before you fell apart in giggles. you leaned up against the cabinets and let max take off your panties. he left them dangling on your left ankle.
"i'm going to fuck that sweet pussy of yours until the only word your little brain can form is my name." he said honestly, he briefly looked to you and licked his lips.
you watched him take his cock out of his sweatpants, he could see you were already so hot all over. he spread your legs further as he got closer in between them.
his cock was decently sized, nothing to be scared of. nothing that would hurt you if he tried to jam it in. you knew the fantasy was a large cock, but you had you heard stories of bruised cervixes that max was just the right fit for you.
he braced his hands on either side of you on the counter as he slid his cock into your sweet pussy. it wasn't a painfully slow insertion, but when he got his cock to the root. he felt a sense of relief at the feeling of you.
he kissed at your face as he thrusted in and out of you. the tip barely out before he slid back in. he groaned through the kisses that he peppered your face with.
"mmm, that's it." he said, "you feel so good, my treasure. how's that head of yours?" he asked as he thrusted up into you harder. it was quick and hard rhythm.
you felt on cloud nine, with the two shots of vodka, all that weed and now the heightened feeling of having sex all made your head race with thoughts of nothing. everything kind of blended together in your mind.
you held onto his shoulders, your fists tied up in the shoulders of his white t-shirt. you were breathing heavily and felt your core throb. you whined, "max, ah. fuck. i couldn't stop thinking about you on the ride home. i was so fuckin' horny." you whined.
you got horny when you smoked, most would devour a pizza. you'd do that with ease but also want to be fucked until you were a fucked out pile of goo on the bed until you reformed into a human in the morning.
"oh yeah, did you look at photos of me?"
"yes, maxie." you purred.
"were they safe photos?" he asked as he leaned even more up against you. letting him get even closer to you. as if he wasn't already in your personal space.
you giggled, "of course! i didn't want to show my friends what you're packing down there." you had an assortment of nudes from him as he did for you.
he kissed at the nape of your neck, your thighs tightened around his waist as he bullied his cock into you. you were perfect like this, submissive like a little lamb. he chuckled, "good, don't want to cause an incident."
he continued to fuck you on top of the granite countertop in the kitchen. his thrusts were fast and it made you moan loudly against him. you felt your heart thump wildly in your chest.
it all felt so good. you clutched onto his t-shirt as he fucked you rapidly, "please, maxie."
"cum for me, treasure. i know you need it." he whispered in your ear as he continued to move.
you kicked out your legs a little as you came, your noise was high pitched but yet so sweet. it was painfully cute when you did it. it made him hot all over. you felt painfully good.
"good girl."
you held onto him tightly as he battered your pussy with a few more heavy thrusts before he finished inside of you. you panted against his shoulder and clung to him tightly.
he said sweet nothings to you both in english and dutch which made you feel like jelly. you leaned up against him as he finished inside of you with a rough groan.
"my treasure." he purred as he slowed down to a stop. he held you for a moment, feeling your heavy breathing against his shoulder.
"maxie." you purred, still hot all over. the weed was still in your system.
he pulled out of you and tucked his cock back into his sweatpants. he admired the bit of cum that leaked out of your poor cunt. it eased any possessiveness in his mind, relaxed him that he was able to make his beloved girlfriend feel good.
"c'mon, finish that water and we'll get you to bed." he patted your thigh before he pulled your pretty panties back up over your hips.
you nodded softly before you carefully got a hold of the cup and finished the rest of the water quickly. you could be good, for once!
-
the following week, max was being nice and helping you put your strappy sandals before you went out for the evening with some of the other partners of drivers.
when he got up from the floor, he reached over down the couch and grabbed a windbreaker jacket with his team, name and number on it. he put it on you before he zipped it up to the top, effectively hiding the suggestive outfit you were wearing.
he patted your shoulders and kissed your forehead before he said, "there, perfect. now remember, no drugs. okay?" he kissed you again, "you're going to be good for me?"
you nodded, "always max. but i am tempted to be bad again. if that means you'll fuck me on the counter again."
max smiled as he tapped your nose, his face close to you, "next time i won't be so generous. if you come home to me high again, i'm not going to be as nice."
you smiled at him, "then i'll be good then." you got up from the couch and embraced your boyfriend. you gave him a kiss on the cheek and felt safe in his arms for a moment, "no weed, no nothing."
"good, that's what i like to hear. now you for have fun, treasure." he kissed your cheek. he walked you to the front door before he saw you out. when he closed the door once you left, he palmed himself through his sweatpants at the thought of you.
he walked to the bedroom and searched in the back of the closet. he pulled out a pair of leather cuffs and a blindfold. he walked back to the bed casually and placed them down softly.
just in case you decided to misbehave again <3

POV: Deuce's very first kiss from his crush
(Click for better quality)
I'm finally officially introducing my Yuu/OC x canon/Yumeship here! (âżââżâ) Writing this post took me forever, but I'm super happy with it!
Reblogs are super appreciated hehehe
Please be kind & DO NOT take inspiration from this ship. ^^"
(While Allen isn't me, I'm calling them a Yumeship because he's based on my younger self/me when I first started playing TWST & because the ship gives me a ridiculous amount of comfort!)
Allen x Deuce (aka Spade of Storms) is my ultimate comfort ship and they mean a ton to me.
These two are best friends who become lovers and closely mirror each other. Deuce is the delinquent with rather bad self-control who tries to be a model student, while Allen is a former honor student who's now a very lowkey delinquent with stellar self-control and a mature attitude.
Due to the fact that Allen and Deuce are so similar and yet the opposite of each other, they're able to excellently understand and support the other, and they help each other accept themselves.
Their ship blog: @spade-of-storms (facts, drabbles & more est. May 2024)
Now why exactly are these two perfect for each other? Well...
LONG TEXT AHEAD!
â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€
Deuce:
Allen supports Deuce with all his heart. Instead of believing that someone "as stupid and temperamental" as Deuce could never become an honor student, Allen fully believes in him and encourages him. In comparison to when other people say it, these words actually have an incredibly strong impact on Deuce and are believable to him because he knows that Allen has similar experiences and speaks from them.
Allen doesn't think that Deuce is stupid in the slightest and views him as genuinely smart. To Allen, intelligence isn't determined by grades or academic abilities, but by morals, attitude, logic, and willingness â all of which Deuce has.
Allen doesn't try to change Deuce. Rather than turning Deuce into a full-on honor student and role model, which he isn't by nature, Allen prefers for Deuce to stay true to himself and work towards his goal while not suppressing any aspect of who he is â Allen knows exactly that forcefully becoming someone you naturally aren't would cause more issues than it would fix. In order to assist Deuce with staying true to himself while working towards his desired self, Allen does several things:
Allen lets Deuce be his 100% authentic self when they're together. Deuce tries extremely hard to always be polite and serious in order to maintain his reputation and not resort to old habits, but Allen, being very impulsive and easily angered himself, knows just too well that suppressing one's feelings and true nature isn't the way to go. When they're together, Deuce can openly rant about topics, use insults towards the people who angered him, and show his emotions without having to worry about how others perceive him or about how it might mess up his reputation â Allen would never judge Deuce nor share his secrets with others. This way, Deuce can be himself without restraints while also maintaining the way he wants others to perceive him.
Allen allows Deuce to be a delinquent in a safe, harmless way. If Deuce ever feels like doing something forbidden without breaking rules or staining his reputation, Allen (a very lowkey delinquent) has just the ideas for him. This provides a comfortable space for Deuce to live out his tendencies without falling back into bad habits.
Allen is able to introduce Deuce to a wide range of healthy coping mechanisms that work for him. Allen is a much angrier person than Deuce and is equally impulsive, but has stellar self-control due to the methods he uses, and passes them down to Deuce. As a result, Deuce doesn't feel the need to immediately lash out at others anymore and manages to become calmer and much more mature, taking steps into his desired direction.
Allen helps Deuce channel his "negative traits" into positive/helpful ones. With Allen's assistance, methods, reassuring words and unique view on things, Deuce learns how to use the qualities that he used to hate about himself to his advantage. Suddenly Deuce's anger is no longer a hindrance, but a source of energy and motivation.
Allen admires the things Deuce hates about himself. While Deuce wishes he wasn't as hot-headed, Allen views it as an amazing trait and sees the passion and longing for justice behind Deuce's fiery attitude. Additionally, Allen is able to help Deuce see the positive side of these traits, and aids him in channelling them into something good to use to his advantage (see above).
Allen is the only person to fully get through to Deuce. Due to them essentially having the same experiences, opinions, wishes and morals, Deuce felt comfortable trusting Allen with every last bit of his heart (in comparison to other friends) â not to mention that the way Allen was able to help Deuce so intensely and actually talked to him the way he needed it also played a role! Allen has his way with words and knew exactly how to talk to Deuce from the beginning.
Deuce can genuinely open up about his self-esteem to Allen. It's been heavily hinted at in the game several times that Deuce thinks incredibly lowly of himself, but this topic is usually cut short and he doesn't talk about it further with the canon Yuu. With Allen, however, Deuce can open up all he wants to. He knows that Allen has similar experiences and struggles with self-worth related issues himself, therefore not only not judging Deuce, but also fully understanding him.
Allen perfectly understands Deuce's past. Having been feared, avoided and known to be a delinquent/bad kid himself, Allen even understands the details extremely well. Neither of the two ever had a proper friend until they met each other on their first day at NRC.
Allen successfully helps Deuce with his studies despite hating school. Seeing how Deuce needs help, Allen (the "gifted kid") gladly volunteers, even though he's no longer interested in class and has sworn to drop the "honor student" facade himself. Due to Allen's easy explanations, methods, photographic memory and capability to catch on quickly, Deuce actually manages to improve his test results by 1-2 grades.
Allen's study methods are unique, which helps Deuce & is necessary for him. Being a slow learner (I also hc him to have some sort of intellectual disability), Deuce requires rather unique approaches to topics. As Allen is well-versed with both studying and psychology and also keeps Deuce's exact issues in mind, he's able to perfectly tailor methods and mnemonic bridges that actually work out for Deuce.
Allen makes sure that Deuce's desire to be a model student is & stays healthy. A fair part of Allen's trauma stems from being an honor student himself and having unrealistically high expectations regarding grades and attitude shoved down his throat by everyone at school (including himself), so he pays a lot of attention that the same doesn't happen to Deuce.
Allen respects Deuce a ton. Not only is Deuce determined, passionate, loyal, honest and eager, but he has the same core values as Allen, too. In Allen's opinion, finding someone with these traits is not only rare, but immediately makes them endearing to him.
Allen is patient with Deuce. He understands that Deuce occasionally has a difficult time processing and understanding things, and he isn't bothered by it in the slightest. This means even more when you consider that Allen is generally a very impatient person and is only able to be patient with those he truly loves and trusts.
Allen fills Deuce in when he doesn't understand something. Due to Allen being able to catch on extremely quickly, he can immediately explain things and situations to Deuce, helping him out and allowing him to get everything right from the beginning.
Allen indirectly protects Deuce. Known for being intimidating (in a good way), quick-witted, sly and a skilled schemer, most people â including those who enjoy picking on Deuce â shy away from Allen and avoid getting in trouble with his friends.
Allen stops Deuce from getting into fights. Whenever Deuce is about to get into a fight anyway, Allen gently but sternly reminds him of both his goal and the healthier coping mechanisms.
Allen understands that Deuce dislikes being picked on. Allen, being a sensitive person, hates it himself, and he actively tells off everyone who dares to make fun of Deuce or call him "Loosey Deucey". At times, Allen even gets snappy because of the inappropriate nicknames or insults directed at Deuce.
Allen inspires Deuce. Him being skilled at a variety of things and just logical in general gives Deuce the motivation to achieve the same. Deuce doesn't compare himself to Allen, either, and views him as an inspiration. If Allen can control himself and get positive things out of his negative traits, so can Deuce, right?! Not to mention that Allen is extremely tough and pulls through no matter what despite his mental and physical state...
Allen's maturity subconsciously wears off on Deuce. Even outside of the fact that Allen helps him grow and improve a lot through all the ways mentioned before, Deuce sometimes also subconsciously copies his boyfriend's mature attitude or asks himself what Allen would do in certain situations.
Allen is an advisor to Deuce. Deuce struggles with planning ahead, and Allen â a big-time overthinker who's extremely competent at scheming â is able to assist him. As a result, Deuce makes less bad decisions.
Allen loves blastcycles. Deuce can rant about them to Allen for hours, and the two often go on blastcycle dates together. Nothing is more fun than clinging onto your partner while driving at full speed!
Allen values Deuce's company like no other. Deuce regularly feels like a nobody, and Allen takes that feeling from him due to how much he connects with him and likes having him around.
BONUS: Allen is not only beautiful but also has an incredibly strong personality, drive, and determination and hasn't given up despite everything that happened to him. Deuce is a massive simp and his humongous crush on Allen has always been obvious due to how Deuce just can't shut up about him.
Allen:
Deuce loves and accepts Allen's body. As we have seen through his interactions with Azul and Epel, Deuce is very protective of people who don't fit the norm, and Allen is another such person â an intersex boy who was bullied for his unconventional body. Deuce has not only sworn to protect Allen from any possible discrimination, but also loves his body dearly and thinks he's super hot.
Deuce gives Allen a sense of stability. Allen's life was all about short-lived fake joys and prevailing negativity prior to coming to Twisted Wonderland, which made him feel disconnected from many things and people and gave him the feeling that everything is temporary anyway. However, Deuce's fierce loyalty and the strength of their relationship prove Allen wrong â yes, there can indeed be things in life that last forever.
Deuce's utter affection warms Allen's empty heart. Allen was never loved by anyone but his parents, who he thinks only love him because he's their son. Other than that, he never experienced love, affection, ... or even mere friendship. He was alone... until he met Deuce, who he somehow immediately connected with. It was as if their friendship was predestined by the universe... and with every day, Deuce's affection for Allen only grew.
Deuce genuinely admires Allen. Seeing how Allen always does his best, works hard, has ambitions and aims to improve impresses Deuce a ton. This is extremely healing for Allen, whose efforts were never properly recognized or rewarded before and who thinks that he needs to perfect at everything in order to be "someone".
Deuce makes Allen feel useful and resourceful. Allen often believes that he has no worth and could never make a change for the better no matter how much he tries, but seeing just how much he's able to help Deuce with a wide range of things proves Allen wrong â he's indeed capable of a lot of things. Not to mention that Deuce even passes some of Allen's tips down to Epel!
Deuce's honesty is refreshing to Allen. After being lied to and tricked by about anyone Allen ever knew before coming to Twisted Wonderland, Deuce's natural honesty and loyalty are an unfamiliar but utterly wonderful experience for Allen.
Deuce makes Allen feel understood. Allen often believes that others would view him as a monster if they were aware of his secret anger and opinions, but Deuce shares many of them. These two can openly talk about their values together and Allen feels extremely understood because of it â a feeling he barely ever experiences with other people.
Deuce helps Allen enjoy the moment. While he has some overthinking tendencies himself, Deuce is much more spontaneous than Allen and tends to act more on impulse. As a result, he can show his ways to Allen, allowing the overthinker to finally relax and think about his problems a little less.
Deuce doesn't hesitate to stand up for Allen. The fact that Allen was bullied for something he can't change in the past saddens and angers Deuce, and he has sworn to himself that he'll always protect his boyfriend. If there should ever be another situation where Allen gets bullied, Deuce won't hesitate to absolutely throw hands â this is not being a bad person and picking fights, it's standing up for an innocent person whose life was ruined by malice. Deuce wouldn't regret it in the slightest anymore, especially since Allen has helped him learn than anger isn't a bad thing.
Deuce helps Allen with becoming a proper mage. When Allen first gains magic during the final quarter of the school year, he has absolutely no control over it and is partially even avoided due to being a "walking health hazard". Deuce, however, sees this as the perfect time to pay Allen back for helping him study theory and decides to assist Allen with practical things. Through Deuce's determination and belief in him, Allen is able to improve much quicker than he would've without Deuce's help.
BONUS: Deuce is the warmth and honesty that Allen needs in his life. The boy's mere presence lights up Allen's day and Deuce's careful physical affection makes him feel like the most cherished person in the universe.
What else is there to them? (examples)
Both are extremely close with their families.
Due to being so similar and sharing many personality traits, loving each other so deeply allowed them to realize that they can easily love and accept themselves, too.
Deuce's previous incarnation had a crush on Allen's, who died way too early. In this life, the regrets of the past are being fixed.
Allen's the brain, Deuce is the brawn.
They're both extremely cuddly with each other.
LOTS OF COMPLIMENTS (from both sides).
Deuce often gifts Allen plushies.
Allen and Deuce are basically inseparable by now.
If you hang out with Deuce, you have to suffer through at least one tiny ramble about Allen.
...and much more that can be found on @spade-of-storms!

Can I get some fluff of Alastor finding reader listening to old jazz songs from when he was alive and he makes us dance with him? :)
It's Been a While... (Alastor x GN! Reader)
Ahaha, I need more work on fluff, I hope you like it! There is SOME mentions of risque activites, but it's super brief, and nothing insanely explicit! Promise! I was honestly just writing to write, and figured this little blurb that fell out of me would be fitting enough. UNO REVERSE... We get ALASTOR to dance! Fuck yes!!!
Songs mentioned: In The Mood - Glenn Miller / Sing, Sing, Sing - Benny Goodman (both are bops I used to play when I was in jazz band houhosjknskhdj-- SURPRISE, you also get Danny Lore as a treato!)
Alastor's tense, heavy sigh sounds in the air, prompting you to crane your head up. You took in his disheveled state and instantly knew: he was exhausted. You stood from your plush armchair, abandoning it to walk toward his desk.Â
"Alastor?" was all that was needed for his flattened ears to perk up. Your sweet voice was a much needed comfort during a particularly grueling evening.Â
"Yes, dearest?" he replied, his smile hardly an upturned slit. You come up behind him slowly, waiting for his permission to touch. Alastor looks back to your hovering hands, and nods gingerly. He returns to facing his desk, allowing his eyes to lose focus as he zones out. When your arms wrap around his neck, his shoulders slump heavily, a pleased hum vibrating his chest. You smiled sweetly at the sound, a welcome pleasantry as you kissed his cheek.Â
"You're getting frustrated again, my love..." you pipe up, continuing to pepper his cheek with chaste, innocent kisses. Your lover laughs bitterly, but leans into your musings all the same.Â
"Well, I suppose you're right... leave it to my sweet, observant partner to know what's wrong... and when," he adds, a tired hand reaching up to rub slow circles into one of your arms. You grin against his cheek, your kisses slowing," I may also have a solution to your problem, if you'll hear me out~"Â
Alastor hums in approval, grasping both of your hands when you continue to pamper him with sweet, physical adoration.Â
"Dear, you are nothing if not full of brilliant ideas... I would love to hear them out," he muses, turning his head to plant a singular, sincere kiss to your lips. You were giddy at the affection, but capped your glee. You tugged on his hands, eager to make your little plan work.
"Come on, come on... you'll have to get up for this one," you quip, forcing a dramatic sigh from your partner. Alastor throws his head back, laying it on your shoulder like an ill peasant woman. He would fan his face weakly, had your hands not been so warm. Â
"My love, I have been stricken, and cannot get up~ Won't you let an old man rest?" he fired back. But truly, had you asked: he would happily jump into acid rain with nothing more than his dignity.
You roll your eyes at his theatrics, smirking," You? Old? I wouldn't figure... No, you old geezer, I need you to stand so we can use your legs. They're very important for what I want to do." Alastor blinked, gears turning in his mind. Only with you would his mind wander to dirtier, carnal ideas.Â
"Dear, if I had wanted to do that tonight, I'm afraid your back would've already been bent out of shape--"Â
"Oh for Fucks Sake, Alastor--" you cackled, tugging on him with more insistence.Â
" Come oooonnnnn, please~? It's one of your favorites, I promise! Nothing dirty, no tricks!" Alastor's interest is instantly piqued, resulting in an immediate hop up. Even with his motion, his hands were still in yours. You huff, exacerbated but grateful you didnât have to lift him yourself.Â
"Ahh, if you would have led with that, I may've been more urgent to attend to you, dear," Alastor chuckles, not missing the flush that flashed across your cheeks. You pull away from Alastor long enough to turn on the radio, flicking through several frequencies and stations to find just the right channel. Alastor watches you in amusement, arms crossing in front of his chest. He was more than content to watch you struggle, shifting his weight onto one foot.
"Well, I have to keep some of the suspense, don't I?" you replied, grinning at him in a way that made Alastor's black heart beat wildly. He did quite enjoy your mischievous nature... But your attempts to work his radio almost had him pitying you... Almost.Â
He scooted in behind you, resting his crossed arms over the top of your head," You could request a song, you know... I don't mind putting on something you enjoy--"Â
"I'd rather it be something weâd both enjoy," you interject, huffing as you became an armrest for your demonic partner. Once you found the right channel, you swiveled under Alastor's arms to face him. Then, you reach up to hold his elbows, shaking them around playfully.Â
"Alright, sir... It's been a long, long time since we've done this... I want to do this properly."Â
Alastor relents, allowing you to push his arms off of your head. He tilts his own toward you, expressing confusion. In that moment, he finally hones in on the song itself. In The Mood, popularized and recorded by Glenn Miller. It was one of the few songs that came to mind when you thought of "Alastor's Time" in the 30s. Said demon blinks in surprise, grinning. He had listened to this recording a bit after coming to hell, and was particularly fond of it. Ahh, you had picked the perfect station!Â
"Glenn Miller? Oh, you spoil me, love," Alastor coos, caressing your face as he kisses your forehead," Whatever did I do to deserve this?"Â
You sway your hips, bouncing in place to the tempo with the old tune," I know the recording's after your time... but-- He's just-- GOOD, y'know?" You bite your lip as you pull Alastor's hands off of your face," Now come on, Al... let's dance!" What a perfect distraction to break his tension and troubled mind! Alastor just knew he would enjoy your little idea...Â
His hands settle on you, both lightly caging your hips as yours held onto his wide shoulders. As the main motif began, the both of you started bopping along to the music. You watched Alastor's face morph fully into a relaxed state; smile still present, but much softer than his manic glee. You had to use every fiber in your being not to kiss him in that instant, instead squeezing his shoulders. Alastor's ears twitch as you draw soothing circles into his tense muscles, a shudder being torn from his entire frame.Â
"Relax, Alastor... I want you to forget about everything, except for this...," you coo, making him sigh with acceptance. He came close to you, flushing your bodies together in a tight, intimate sway. You could only sigh as he settled his chin onto the top of your head.Â
"Oh darling, if I relaxed anymore, I would be putty in your hands...," Alastor chimes, the tail end of his sentence wandering off as you press harder. Alastor huffs pleasantly, his hands holding your hips more firmly," Sweetheart, you really will be my undoing..."Â
You chuckle as you settle your hands, allowing Alastor a moment of reprieve. He rolls his shoulders, one hand seeking to grasp your opposite hand. Once he drew your arm out with his, his other hand shifted to the small of your back. You saw him grinning, playful and energetic," If it's a dance you want, then it had better be a good one, hmm? So let's jive~"Â
You squealed as Alastor practically whisked you off of your feet, spinning the both of you elegantly around his bedroom. The sounds of cicadas and frogs croaking in the distant, swampy marsh of his extended bedroom accompanied the sweet jazz that filled the air. Truly, it was tying everything together seamlessly. You had it all: a nice scene, nice music, and a relaxed, precious beau to spend all night with. You would have patted yourself on the back, were it not for Alastor's telltale sign of a 'big dip' move. You looped both arms around his neck, hanging on as Alastor swung you down, his monocle threatening to slip off his face. You laughed as you casually adjusted it. You stared, enthralled as you lay your hand over his racing pulse. However, the moment didnât last long before you were brought back to your feet. But you thought now would be the best time to be a bit closerâŠ
Getting bolder now, you pulled Alastor in for a kiss via his bowtie, eager to finish the dance off strong. Alastor, of course, had no protests, as he looped his arms around your waist. The two of you embraced like this for what felt like an hour, unable to pull apart your mingling, eager lips. But, with the song ended, leaving you both in silence, you managed to pull away. You looked up to Alastor with knowing eyes, your smile reflected in his deep, red irises.
"I loved that, Alastor, thank you... And I hope you don't mind me whisking you away from work..."Â
The Radio Demon rolled his eyes, an imitation of your look from earlier. He leaned down to kiss your cheek, his lips still puffy from your kiss," My love, you must whisk me away more often... In fact, I think I'd like another dance, if you'll join me?" Of course, you agreed silently, stepping on to the very tips of your toes to seal it with a kiss.Â
"I'd love nothing more."Â
Alastor grins with a deep chuckle, the radio pumping out a new song. Sing, Sing, Sing, popularized by Benny Goodman. You blink in surprise as this number moves... MUCH faster. And, from the sound of it, it will get you to sweat. You laughed nervously as Alastor brought you in again, his hand directing your hips to sway with his. You couldnât help but become a little flustered as he closed the gap between your bodies, a playful, coy smile sent your way.Â
"Hold on tight, love. Some recordings of this song could last up to ten minutes~"Â
"WHAT--"Â
Alastor practically cackled as you trapped yourself within a saucy dance, one of many that would fill your evening with sweat, laughter, and best of all: an Alastor whose smile finally reached his eyes.Â

Your pen was a flurry of motion, streaking bold lines upon the sketchpad. Technically, you should be sorting through the endless stack of files, keeping them pristine and accessible for the agents. You were always ahead of your tasks, and this job, while not earth-shattering, mattered to you. But when you had a muse as captivating as yours, it was hard to put the pen down.Â
That muse being the man rifling through the files before you, his face a masterpiece of pretty lines and angles, unaware of the intensity of your focus. You contemplated expressing your admiration aloud, but the idea seemed a little too forward. So, you poured that impulse into a portrait, tracing the contours of his handsome face.
But it proved difficult to accomplish with his relentless pacing. Each step he took sparked another round of redos on the pad. Your tongue, tipped with a silver piercing, unconsciously found its way to your lip as you wrestled with the proportions of his nose, erasing furiously to get it just right.
You let out a sigh, louder than intended, and it was enough to pause his steps. "Sir, can you please stand still?"
He looked utterly baffled, lifting his brows toward his hairline. As your eyes met, he pointed to his chest, his question simple and unsure, "Huh? Me?"
A quick nod sent a ribbon of dyed hair fluttering before your eyes as you beamed at him. "Yes, you! Please, if you don't mind," you murmured, your fingers racing over the paper. "I just need, like, one more second."
He stood frozen, brows remaining quizzically raised. Why he complied, he couldn't say, but the sight of you, so engrossed in your art, your necklaces chiming in time with your movements, and how your bold makeup seemed to frame your face perfectly kept him rooted to the spot.
You peered up through your lashes, giving him a sheepish grin, cheeks lightly flushed as you set the pen down.
"All done! You're free to go. Thanks for being so patient," you chirped, gently waving the paper in the air as if to dry the ink faster.
"Can I at least see the result of my patience?" Spencer asked, his approach casual yet expectant.Â
You hugged the sketchpad to your chest, a gentle laugh escaping you. "Well, I don't usually just let anyone see my work, especially strangers."
Spencer's smile was tinged with amusement.
"Considering I'm the subject, I think I have some claim to it," he joked. "And by the way, I'm Spencer Reid. There, we're practically acquaintances now."
You couldn't contain the goofy grin that spread across your face, and a giggle bubbled up from your throat.
"Well, since you put it that way, I suppose I can make an exception," you said, drawing out the last word with a wink.
The portrait made Spencer do a double-take--it was him, but as if seen through a gothic, moody lens. His usual composure cracked, and a deep, genuine laugh broke through.Â
"I never knew I had such a brooding side," he commented with a smile. "I look like I stepped out of a Brontë novel. Perhaps Heathcliff on one of his better days?"
Your head cocked to the side, hair cascading over one shoulder, looking at him through lashes heavy with mascara as you shrugged.
"Heathcliff, huh? I'll take your word for it, but I get the brooding part," you said, with a bubbly laugh. "Come on, it's so you."
Spencer fiddled with his tie, raising a brow.
"I'm not sure if I should be flattered or concerned," he said, the corners of his mouth twitching upwards as he felt a pleasant heat rise to his cheeks.
You squinted sightly, pretending to mull it over.
"Flattered, for sure," you said. "Broody types are just secretly plotting world domination, right?"
He grinned. "Well, maybe not world domination, but certainly plotting something."
Your voice was light, but your question was pointed. "So, what are you plotting, Spencer? Should I be worried?"
He tried to remember what Morgan had taught him.
"Absolutely. But some things are worth the wait--patience, you'll see, can be quite rewarding."
And with a promise like that, you found yourself more than willing to wait.Â

âYes dad, Iâm at the gate now and weâre due to board in ten minutes or so.â You say with a breathy laugh after your dad finishes asking you what feels like a hundred questions about your flight. You were visiting your dad, Pete Mitchell, in San Diego while you had some time off work. After completing your studies at college, you had landed a good gig working as a nurse in a hospital in Chicago. You had grown up sure you werenât going to follow in your fatherâs footsteps and so found yourself studying medicine and making a career out of it. It was hard when your dad was constantly deployed after pissing off Admiral after Admiral, but he did make the effort to visit you when he could and now that he was settled in San Diego, you decided youâd give him a visit.
âIâll be at the airport when you land. Iâll see you soon sweetheart.â Maverick says a smile on his face as he thinks about how in a few hours youâll be here in person.
âIâll see you soon, dad. I love you.â You say, smiling as you hear your dad bid you one last goodbye before you hang up. After hanging up, you look out the window, seeing the plane youâd soon be boarding. You wait patiently at the gate, passport and boarding pass in hand as you survey the people surrounding you, little groups of people, family or friends, excitedly chatting about their trip and what theyâre going to get up to, couples discussing similar topics, and businesspeople, making last minute calls or typing hurriedly on their laptops.
Before long, the call for boarding to begin comes over the loudspeaker and one by one a group is called up to have their passes checked and board the plane. Eventually, you are able to board and find your seat, settling down in it and tucking your bag away while patiently waiting for the journey to begin.
Soon enough, the boarding process is completed, and the plane begins to crawl towards the runway, patiently waiting for its turn to go. Within a couple of minutes, the plane gets onto the runway, and speeds along until itâs able to take off. You watch the ground get smaller and the clouds appear. You knew you inherited a love of flying from your dad, but your love for it never pushed you to make a career out of it. You watched the clouds pass you by while you listened to your music.
After just over four hours, the plane touched down in San Diego and you couldnât wipe the smile from your face as you saw the beautifully sunny weather. You disembarked the plane and made your way to baggage claim and waited with the rest of the people from the flight until your bag comes around on the conveyor belt. You grab your bag and follow the signs to where you know youâll be able to find your dad. Â You enter the spacious area, eyes searching the sea of gathered people, quickly locating your dadâs familiar jacket and you swear your smile couldnât get any wider. You lock eyes with Maverick, and he waves before making his way over to you.
âHey, sweetheart. Was the flight okay?â He asks, sweeping you up in a hug, holding you close as you reciprocate the embrace.
âHey, dad. The flight was fine.â You reply, squeezing him that little bit tighter before releasing him from the hug, taking the handle of your luggage and following your dad to the car park and letting him lead you to his car.
âNew car?â You ask, an amused tone to your voice as you take in the sight of the car.
âI wouldnât say new. Figured the bike would pose a problem so I had to take the car.â Maverick says with a chuckle, unlocking the car and loading your bags into the back of the car before you get into the passenger seat, and he gets into the driverâs seat.
The drive back to Maverickâs house wasnât long and the scenery was beautiful. You had spent a little bit of time in Miramar when you were younger, but you donât remember much of it since you only spent a few short months there before moving away again. You were silently glad your dad had found a place to settle down and that you could finally visit him after the countless times he had come to visit you.
âYou probably donât remember much about Miramar, huh?â Maverick muses softly, glancing at you quickly, noticing your enamoured expression before returning his focus to the road.
âI donât. But itâs so gorgeous.â You say with a grin, taking in the views, your smile widening as you take in the sight of the beach.
âIâll make sure we go to all the best places.â Maverick says, a smile on his face as he begins to turn up the road he lived on and then soon parks in his driveway. You get out of the car and by the time you get to the back of the car, Maverick has already unloaded your bags and leads you into his house.
The house was small yet perfect for Maverick, heâd decorated it with pictures from his time at Top Gun and pictures of you growing up. He shows you upstairs and to the room youâll be staying in.
âIâll let you settle in. Iâll be downstairs if you need me.â Maverick says softly before excusing himself and heading downstairs while you stay put in the middle of the room. After a brief minute, you cross to the window, taking in the view and opening the window slightly so you can hear the breeze and birds singing while you got settled in. You unpacked some of your essentials before deciding you wanted to go and hang out with your dad while you had the time with him. You head downstairs and find Maverick sat on the sofa in the living room, smiling over at you.
âIâm still feeling pretty cramped from the flight. Are you okay if I go for a walk?â You ask, smiling as Maverick nods.
âOf course, do you want me to go with you?â He offers, already bracing his hands on either side of him ready to push himself up off the sofa.
âItâs okay, you can relax.â You say, watching as Maverick stays put, thinking to himself before speaking up.
âDonât get lost, okay?â He says with a chuckle.
âIâm not as old as you so I can rely on my phone to keep me from getting lost.â You say with a cheeky grin, pulling your phone out of your pocket and waving it to emphasise your point, laughing at your dadâs expression of mock shock.
âYou cheeky shit.â He says, breaking into a laugh and rolling his eyes as you pocket your phone.
âYou know I love you.â You say with a grin, starting to head towards the front door.
âI love you too. Text me when youâre on your way back and Iâll start on dinner.â Maverick says, waving you off and you grab a spare key before exiting the house and letting your feet dictate where you go.
You find yourself wandering until you reach the beach, and you find yourself smiling as you see the families on the beach, lying on towels or playing in the sand and sea. You wished you could remember the times you had spent on that same beach but all you had was photos and stories your dad had told you. As you walk alongside the beach, take in the gorgeous sights as the golden sun starts to lower in the sky.
Eventually, you find yourself near a bar, it looks like a Navy bar to you just judging by the amount of people in khaki uniforms going in and out of the bar. You stood still for a moment, watching the people going in and out, wondering if your dad or anyone on his new squadron visited that bar. As you watch the bar, you catch sight of someone in a Hawaiian shirt standing on the decking just outside the bar. You didnât mean to stare at the stranger, but you hadnât seen anyone since Goose wearing a Hawaiian shirt so clearly this man had good taste and you couldnât help but let out a soft laugh at the sight.
Before too long, the stranger caught sight of you, and you couldâve sworn your heart stopped when you realised, he was looking in your direction. Truthfully, you had no idea if he was actually looking at you or at something behind you because of his aviators hiding his eyes but the idea of this guy catching you looking at him was enough of a scare to get you to turn tail and begin your journey back to your dadâs house, shooting him a text to let him know you were on your way home.
In about twenty minutes, you enter Maverickâs house and are immediately greeted with the smell of cooking food, and you immediately know he is making you your favourite meal.
âSmells good.â You say with a wide smile, finding the kitchen and standing in the doorway, watching as your dad diligently works on the food.
âI had to make you your favourite.â Maverick replies, glancing over at you with a smile before returning his attention back to the food. You decide to help your dad out a bit and set the table and get drinks out. By the time youâve set the table with cutlery and drinks, Maverick has finished the food and begins plating up the meals, handing you a plate with a smile. The two of you sit down at the table and eat your meals, chatting throughout and enjoying each otherâs company. When you finish your meals, you help clean up, putting the dishes in the dishwasher despite Maverickâs insistence that you donât have to. As he tells you what felt like the thousandth time to let him do it, the doorbell rang.
âLet me clean up, you answer the door.â You say, pointing towards the front door with a chuckle before turning back to the dishwasher, loading it carefully and wiping down the surfaces while you hear the muffled voices coming through from the hall.
ây/n, look who it is!â You turn and look through the doorway to see your dad entering the living room and behind him is a man sporting a shirt that looks incredibly familiar.
âI thought it was you I saw by the beach!â You couldnât believe it. You were standing face-to-face with Bradley Bradshaw. Someone you thought you were never going to see again after that night he had screamed in your dadâs face about never wanting to see him again and leaving your house with the door slamming behind him. But here he was, standing in front of you with a huge smile and bright eyes. Heâd changed a lot in the time thatâs passed, he was definitely more muscular, and he had some new scars decorating his face, but above everything, he looked much more attractive than you remember him being.
âBradley, I didnât even recognise you!â You exclaim happily, accepting the offered hug instantly, clinging to Bradley and relishing in how gently he wrapped his arms around you, his chest rumbling with a gentle laugh.
âI almost didnât recognise you. If I hadnât of caught you staring, I probably wouldnât have known you were here at all.â Bradley replies, both of you pulling apart when you hear Maverickâs amused scoff.
âStaring?â Maverick asks with a raised eyebrow.
âI wasnât staring. I just noticed the Hawaiian shirt and it made me think of Goose.â You explain, rolling your eyes at your dad as both men laugh softly.
âWell, Iâm happy to report that my dadâs impeccable fashion sense did in fact get passed down to me.â Bradley says, shrugging with a chuckle.
âSo, what brings you by? Or was it just the fact you thought you saw me, so you came here to test your theory.â You ask, folding your arms across your chest as you raise an eyebrow with an amused smile.
âMaybe I was testing a theory, but I wasnât exactly wrong.â Bradley admits, grinning as Maverick rolls his eyes jokingly.
âYou couldâve called or texted if you wanted to know if she was here.â Maverick says, looking up at Bradley.
âI know but I havenât seen her in a while, so I wanted to swing by.â Bradley says unapologetically.
âIâll give you that one.â Maverick admits, nodding his head in approval as he turns to head into the kitchen to grab himself a beer.
âHey, tomorrow would you like to grab a drink with me at the Hard Deck?â Bradley offers, a soft smile on his face as he awaits your response.
âSure, it would be great to catch up after so long.â You say with a smile, more than happy to spend some time with Bradley now that you know heâs in the area.
âGreat! Iâll swing by tomorrow and weâll head down together. Is six, okay?â Bradley asks, offering a time.
âSix is perfect.â You say, your smile widening by the second, excited at the thought of spending the evening with Bradley.
âIâll see you then.â Bradley says, giving you another hug before he leaves you and Maverick, closing the door behind him and signalling that he has gone. Once heâs gone you turn to face your dad, shocked to see his raised eyebrow.
âDonât date an aviator.â Maverick says simply, making your jaw drop in shock.
âDad, what?â You stammer, feeling your cheeks quickly heating up at the simple statement your dad said.
âYou heard me. Donât date an aviator. It wonât go well.â Maverick repeats himself, making you even more flustered.
âOkay, firstly, me and Bradley are going out for a friendly catch-up, we havenât seen each other since we were eighteen. Secondly, Iâm not a child so I can date whoever I want, aviator or not.â You retort, folding your arms over your chest as you stare down your dad.
âIâm just trying to protect you, sweetheart. I am an aviator, so I know what theyâre like. Itâs better if you steer clear of dating them. I saw how you were looking at Bradley and itâs best you donât even try.â Maverick says, sticking to his guns and trying to explain himself.
âI appreciate that, dad. But I am an adult now, let me make mistakes and figure things out for myself.â You argue, raising an eyebrow as you continue to argue your point with your dad. Instead of responding, your dad just smiled softly before walking past you and heading upstairs. As his footsteps grow quieter as he disappears upstairs, you let out a soft sigh. You werenât even going on a proper date with Bradley. It was just a friendly catch-up between two people who hadnât seen each other in years. Right?
Six pm the next day couldnât have come sooner for you. You had spent the day visiting some of your dadâs favourite spots with him. You had lunch together and he even managed to coerce you into taking a quick tour of his hangar. When you had got home you had spent way too long deciding on what you wanted to wear, trying to find something that was cute but didnât make you look like you were trying to impress Bradley. Eventually, you find an outfit that fits what youâre going for and you put it on, smiling as you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror. You knew it wasnât a date but the mere thought of getting to spend time with Bradley after so long was making you giddy. Just as you finish freshening up, you hear the doorbell ring and just by checking the time you knew it was Bradley and you immediately began to make your way downstairs. As you were heading downstairs you could hear a muffled conversation between Bradley and Maverick, but they stopped talking as soon as Bradley caught sight of you.
ây/n⊠you look⊠wow.â Bradley stumbles over his words, not knowing what to say.
âIâm hoping thatâs a good wow.â You say with a soft laugh, smiling up at Bradley.
âItâs definitely a good wow, you look beautiful.â Bradley says, a sheepish smile covering his face as he looks at you and you feel your cheeks heating up at his shy compliment. The moment was then disturbed by Maverick clearing his throat.
âSo, Iâll see you when you get back. Keep her safe, Bradley.â Maverick says, softly smiling at you before turning to look at Bradley who straightens up ever so slightly at Maverickâs gaze.
âOf course, I will, Mav.â Bradley says as you both move towards the door, bidding your dad one last goodbye before you exit the house, stepping into the warm evening air and beginning the walk to the Hard Deck, making small talk on your way to the bar.
The walk that had been twenty minutes the day before felt like it was five minutes when you were walking with Bradley. You were having so much fun spending time with him again after so long. Eventually, you reach the Hard Deck and Bradley guides you to a table, finding the quietest corner in the bar and pulling the chair out for you to sit down at, making you smile shyly.
âThank you.â You say softly, sitting down on the chair.
âIâm going to grab us some drinks. Do you want some fries as well or something?â Bradley says, still standing as he looks down at you.
âIâll take a beer if thatâs okay and fries sound nice.â You say with a smile as Bradley nods, turning and making his way to the bar.
âHey Penny, could I get two beers and put in an order for fries?â Bradley asks, leaning up against the bar and smiling at Penny as she approaches.
âOf course, am I starting a tab?â Penny asks, handing Bradley two beers and taking his card in return, watching as he nods in response.
âYes please.â Bradley confirms as Penny nods, tucking his card away someplace safe for the duration of his time at the bar.
âAnd what table am I taking the fries to when theyâre done?â Penny asks as she hands the order to one of her employees before turning back to Bradley.
âJust that one over there.â Bradley says, pointing out the table and Penny leans over the bar slightly, following where Bradley was pointing before her eyes widen in shock slightly.
âIs that y/n?â Penny asks, remembering how sheâd seen you a few times when you were younger.
âIt is. Sheâs visiting Mav for a bit, and I havenât seen her in years, so I figured weâd catch up over drinks.â Bradley explains, unable to wipe the smile off his face as he briefly glances over at you seeing you entertaining yourself on your phone before turning his attention back to Penny.
âA catch-up, huh?â Penny asks, an amused smile on her face as Bradley blushes slightly his gaze flicking down to the bar counter before looking back up at Penny as he licks his lips nervously.
âDonât you start. Iâve already had Mav warn me away from her.â Bradley says with a joking roll of the eyes as he takes the beer bottles and heads back over to the table placing a beer in front of you and then sitting down in the chair opposite you.
âI was beginning to think youâd run away or something.â You say with a laugh, putting your phone away and holding the beer bottle in between your hands loosely.
âNever. I was just catching up with Penny.â Bradley says, lifting his beer bottle and tipping it lightly in Pennyâs direction.
âPennyâs here?â You ask, turning in your seat and looking over at where Bradley had been pointing, smiling as you catch sight of Penny working at the bar seeing her catch sight of a patron and smiling as they approach.
âShe was pretty excited when she realised you were here, so Iâd imagine sheâll come over soon enough.â Bradley says, taking a sip from his beer bottle as you turn back around to face him.
âI donât doubt it.â You say with a chuckle, taking a sip of your own beer as the two of you fall into a brief silence.
âSo, how have you been? What have you been up to in these last few years?â Bradley asks, head tilted slightly in his curiosity.
âWell, the Navy wasnât really my thing, so I just went to college and ended up pursuing medicine and now Iâm a nurse over in Chicago. What about you?â You say, explaining what youâve been up to since you last saw him.
âYouâve probably figured out Iâm an aviator now, but I did go off to college after the whole thing with Mav. But Iâm finally where I want to be and now, Iâve got a permanent squad and a place to call home.â Bradley explains, smiling softly to himself as he thinks of how far heâs come.
âThatâs incredible. I know Goose and Carole are so proud of you.â You say, reaching over and gently resting a hand on Bradleyâs arm, fighting the growing heat under your cheeks at the contact yet completely missing Bradleyâs slight blush too.
âThank you. Youâve done well for yourself getting a job in Chicago. Iâm proud of you.â Bradley says, getting the bravery to rest a hand on top of yours, encapsulating your hand with the warmth emitting from his.
âThank you, Bradley.â You reply softly, unable to contain your smile.
âSo⊠have you got anyone back home? Any partners or anything?â Bradley asks, flushing a bit redder at the boldness of the question and fights to hide his relief when you shake your head with a slight chuckle.
âNo. Iâve been single since college. What about you Mr. Aviator? Youâve surely got girls throwing themselves at your feet.â You say, retracting your hand from underneath Bradleyâs both of you trying not to show any upset at the lack of contact.
âThrowing themselves at my feet? Well, youâre not entirely wrong with that. But Iâm just waiting for the right girl to come along.â Bradley says with a soft shrug, making your heart pound just that little bit faster at the revelation that he is single.
âHereâs your fries.â You look up at the familiar voice and canât stop your smile from widening when you see Penny placing the small basket of fries on the table and you instantly get out of your seat to give her a hug.
âPenny itâs been so long!â You exclaim happily, grinning as she wraps her arms around you, reciprocating the hug.
âIt really has, hasnât it?â Penny says with a laugh, pulling away to hold you at armâs length.
âIf I had known you were here, I wouldâve swung by sooner. Somehow dad neglected to tell me that you worked here. He had mentioned you were in the area though.â You explain as Penny shakes her head with a laugh.
âI know what your father is like so donât worry. I wonât interrupt your time with Bradley, sweetie. Enjoy your night and if you need anything, let me know.â Penny says, giving you one last hug before making her way back over to the bar to continue serving customers. You and Bradley then dig into the fries, continuing to chat as you eat.
You had no idea how long you were at the bar with Bradley, but it felt like mere seconds when you were with him. You knew you had a slight crush on Bradley way back when you were teenagers, but it had been pushed to the back of your mind in the last few years with how life had been. But just seeing Bradley and spending time with him had brought all those feelings back and they were stronger than ever.
What you didnât know was that Bradley felt the exact same way. Only he was struggling with the warning Maverick had issued him when he turned up to pick you up. Maverick had warned him away from you, saying he didnât want you dating an aviator. But for you, Bradley was more than willing to go against Maverickâs warnings and risk angering him.
âIâm going to close up my tab and Iâll take you home, okay?â Bradley says after clearing his throat and you nod, waiting patiently as he crosses to the bar and closes out his tab with Penny before he crosses back over to you. When you noticed Bradley coming over you got up, following him through the bar, bidding Penny goodbye as you passed.
Exiting into the cool night are you were suddenly aware of how long you had spent at the bar with Bradley now that the moon had replaced the sun. However, you didnât even mind. With the evening now much quieter than the previous environment of the bustling bar, you and Bradley were able to walk and talk quietly, feeling like your conversations were much more private now.
Much earlier than you wouldâve liked to, you wound up at the end of the driveway to your dadâs house and you felt your heart sinking at the finality of the end of the night.
âI had a great night tonight.â You say, turning to look up at Bradley with a smile, grateful for the evening you had with him.
âSo did I. It was great to catch up.â Bradley replies with a soft smile of his own.
âIt was. I just wish it never had to end.â You admit softly, eyes flicking to the ground before looking back at Bradley.
âMe too. But what if we did this again sometime before you go back to Chicago? Maybe like a date?â Bradley says, biting the bullet and deciding to just go for it instead of losing his chance. But when Bradley saw the hesitation on your face, he began to second guess himself. Had he completely misinterpreted how the night had gone?
âIâd really like that, Bradley. ButâŠâ You begin, glancing over at the front door before looking back over at Bradley who softens.
âMav told you not to date aviators.â Bradley says, nodding in understanding.
âIâm not fussed about that rule, he canât control me. I just donât want this to ruin your relationship with him. You just made up after everything that happened, and Iâm scared Iâll ruin it.â You admit, wanting to do what you can to protect Bradley from your dadâs protectiveness.
âYou wonât ruin anything. Iâve never really been one for listening to Mavâs rules anyway. I think itâs worth the risk.â Bradley says quietly, as if your dad was nearby and listening in to your conversation, while he also reached out and interlocked your hands gently smiling so softly at you that you were sure youâd melt into a puddle right there and then.
âI think itâs worth the risk too.â You admit with a smile, blushing slightly as Bradley squeezes your hand softly at your agreement.
âHow about in a couple of daysâ time, we have our date? Iâll find us a nice spot and Iâll text you the details.â Bradley says, growing quieter near the end of his sentence.
âYou donât have my number.â You say with a giggle, digging in your jacket pocket for your phone, unlocking it and finding your number before holding it out towards Bradley who hurriedly digs in his pocket for his phone, almost dropping it at the speed at which he pulled the phone out before typing your number into his phone and creating a contact for you.
âDone.â Bradley says with a large smile as you turn your phone off and put it back in your pocket while Bradley mirrors your actions.
âIâll see you around.â You say softly, knowing you should head into the house and let Bradley get home himself.
âIâll text you. Goodnight, y/n.â Bradley says softly, extending his arms for a hug which you accept almost instantly, silently loving the way Bradleyâs arms wrap around you and make you feel safe.
âGoodnight, Bradley.â You whisper before pulling away from the hug and heading up the path to the front door and unlocking the door, glancing over your shoulder and smiling at Bradley for one last time that night as he smiles back and offers you one last wave before you disappear inside. Maverick had clearly left the hall lights on for you so you could navigate the house and you made your way upstairs to your room, making sure you turned off the lights as you went. Once you reach your room, you change into your pyjamas before heading to the bathroom to clean up and get ready for bed. Then you return back to your room and climb into your bed, pulling the covers over you and grab your phone, smiling at the text that displayed as an unknown number, but you knew it was Bradley.
âThank you again for a great night. Iâve not had this much fun in a long time.â
âItâs Bradley by the way.â
You couldnât help but giggle at the second text, imagining the brief panic on Bradleyâs face after he hit send on the first message without clarifying it was him.
âMe neither, it was nice to catch up :).â
âLet me know when youâre home safe.â
You found yourself double texting Bradley in return, wanting to make sure you know when Bradley gets home safe. While you waited for Bradley to text you back, you texted one of your closest friends from Chicago and told her about how your evening had gone and as you expected, she was very eager to hear everything and demanded to know what Bradley was like and whether you liked him. While you were explaining how the evening went, a text from Bradley came through.
âIâm happy to say I made it home.â
You couldnât stop your thumbs from typing a speedy response to Bradleyâs text.
âIâm glad you made it home safe. Although Iâm sure being a big strong Navy man means youâre safer than most when walking home.â
You knew calling Bradley a âbig strong Navy manâ was probably a bit of a step too far but your thumbs were typing quicker than your brain could comprehend and you only realised what you had typed when you had hit send on the message. Just as you were beginning to type an apology, a text came through from Bradley.
âOh, Iâm a big strong Navy man, am I?â
He knew what he was doing, and you did very little to fight back the heat growing under your cheeks.
âYou know what I meant.â
You had no idea how long you had been texting Bradley that night. You had woken up the next morning with your phone under your hand as you woke up to Maverick knocking on your door, asking if you wanted any breakfast. After responding to your dad, you flipped your phone over, unable to stop the smile from crossing your face when you saw the good morning text from Bradley. You replied to the message as you kicked your covers back, stretching before throwing a hoodie on over your pyjamas and heading downstairs to where your dad was preparing breakfast for you.
âMorning, dad.â You say with a smile, sitting at the table as Maverick places a plate of pancakes in front of you.
âMorning, sweetheart. How did you sleep?â Maverick asks, pressing a quick kiss to the top of your head before returning his attention to his own food.
âI slept well thanks, how about you?â You reply, beginning to dig into your breakfast as Maverick finishes plating up his food, crossing to the table to sit opposite you.
âI slept well. How was your evening with Bradley? Penny mentioned she saw you.â Maverick asks, glancing across at you as you smile.
âIt was nice to catch up with him. And yes, I did see Penny. I canât believe you didnât tell me she worked there.â You say with a chuckle, hoping your dad doesnât read between the lines too much and instead focuses on Penny.
âWell, I didnât anticipate you going to the Hard Deck so soon. I was going to invite Penny and Amelia over at some point.â Maverick admits with a light shrug and a grin as you roll your eyes jokingly.
âIâd love to see them and have a proper catch up.â You say in agreement before eating another mouthful of food. You continue to chat with your dad until you both finish your food, and you tidy everything away before you feel your phone buzz in your pocket and you pull it out, smiling when you see the text from Bradley.
âWhatâs got you all smiley?â Maverick asks with a raised eyebrow and a smirk.
âOh, just a friendly text from Bradley.â You lie, acting as if you hadnât just read the text from Bradley confirming the time and place of your date tomorrow.
âJust friendly? Good.â Maverick says turning away and missing you rolling your eyes at his statement.
âYeah, we know your rule.â You say, wishing your dad wasnât as stubborn as he was, but you were also a Mitchell and held that same stubbornness, hence why you were so adamantly going against his rule. You typed out a hurried reply to Bradleyâs text, telling him that the time and place he had picked sounded great and that you couldnât wait to have your date.
You spent your day on the beach with Maverick, getting in some tanning time as you read. Penny ended up coming out to meet you with Amelia in tow. You spent time catching up with the mother-and-daughter duo, unable to believe how much Amelia had grown since you last saw her, and you loved getting to hear what she had been up to in recent years. Amelia even managed to convince you into going in the sea with her and you couldnât help but smile and laugh with her as she attempted to splash you.
When you tired of the sea you returned to your towel, drying yourself off and sitting back down to join in with your dad and Pennyâs conversations. And you didnât miss how both your dad and Penny were acting around each other. You could tell they liked each other, they just needed to act on it.
Eventually, you and Maverick headed home after bidding Penny and Amelia goodbye, promising to keep in touch even after you head back to Chicago. And when you get home you open your phone to see messages from Bradley and you reply to them as quickly as possible, apologising for how long it had taken you to respond and picking up the conversation right up from where it had been left off. You loved texting Bradley; he could make you smile and blush like he was right there in front of you having a proper face-to-face conversation. You didnât like that you had to lie to your dad about what you were talking about with Bradley, but he had chosen to come up with this stupid rule that had you and Bradley sneaking around like a pair of teenagers. But Bradley was worth the risk.
The next day you were in serious planning mode, you had to figure out a way to get out of the house without your dad asking too many questions or catching on to what you were going out to do. You knew the restaurant Bradley had picked wasnât super fancy so you could get away with a nice, cute outfit that wouldnât arouse too much suspicion from your dad and maybe you could get away with saying it was another friendly hang out. Maybe you could talk Penny into hanging out with Maverick to distract him and also potentially give them the opportunity to confess their own feelings after seeing the way they skirted around each other. You had conversed with Bradley about this dilemma, and he had offered to meet you at the end of your road instead of coming to the door and you knew that was more than likely the best option you had. If this date went well and there was another, you knew your dad would get suspicious about Bradley constantly turning up at the door. After some careful planning, you and Bradley had come up with the most effective plan to ensure that Maverick did not catch on to your evening plans.
By the time the evening came around, you had already planted seeds with your dad, telling him you wanted to go on an evening walk because you promised your friend a video tour of the sights of Miramar. With that in place, you had changed into the outfit you had picked for the date and texted Bradley that you were on your way out.
âYouâre heading out then?â Maverick asks, smiling at you from where he was sat on the sofa and you smile over at him, grabbing the spare keys.
âYep! Donât worry about waiting up for me. Katie and I can chat for hours once we get going. Maybe you could invite Penny over or something?â You suggest, fighting the urge to smirk when you see your dad blush slightly at your question.
âYou figured that out quickly, huh?â Maverick asks with a soft chuckle.
âYou think Iâd miss something as obvious as that? Nice try.â You say with a laugh, feeling your phone buzz in your pocket and you pull it out to find a message from Bradley, letting you know he was at the end of the road waiting for you.
âLook, I have to go. Call Penny.â You say, pointing at your dad with a joking warning finger before leaving the house, looking up and down the road until you spot a figure waiting at one end of the road and head towards them, knowing instantly that it was Bradley. You make your way towards him, your smile widening when he notices you, revealing a bunch of flowers he had behind his back.
âHey.â Bradley says softly, smiling as you take the flowers.
âHey.â You reply, admiring the beautiful flowers Bradley had picked out, he had assembled a bouquet of red carnations, it was simple but so beautiful and you couldnât help but love Bradley just that little bit more because of it.
âI hope those flowers are okay.â Bradley says sheepishly, offering an arm out for you to take which you do so happily, letting him lead you to where he had parked his beloved Bronco nearby and opening the passenger side door for you, letting you get in the car before closing the door, rounding the car and getting in the driver's seat, starting up the engine and beginning the drive to the little restaurant Bradley had picked. The drive wasnât too long, and you chatted the whole way. When you reached the restaurant, Bradley insisted you stayed put while he went and opened your door for you, telling you that you could leave the flowers on the seat for now before closing the door behind you and leading you into the restaurant.
âHi, I have a reservation, should be under Bradshaw.â Bradley greets the host with a smile who consults the list in front of him before instructing you to both follow him. You follow him through the restaurant with Bradley by your side. You were shocked to find that Bradley had managed to reserve a table by a large window so you could overlook the beach and ocean, able to see the sun beginning its descent over the horizon.
âBradley, this is amazing!â You say, unable to keep the excitement from your tone as Bradley yet again pulls your chair out for you, waiting for you to sit before tucking the chair a little closer to the table before going to his own seat.
âI wanted to make sure we had a good first date.â Bradley admits with a light shrug as he eases himself down into his seat, both of you picking up your menus in tandem, letting out a soft chuckle as you do so. You both scan the menus, talking about which meals sounded good before you both eventually came to a decision on meals and a drink. When the waiter comes around asking if youâre ready to order, both you and Bradley nod and ever the gentleman, Bradley lets you order first before ordering his own food and drink. The waiter writes down your orders before dismissing himself with the promise to return with your drinks, so you and Bradley pick up your conversation, both of you overwhelmingly happy with how the evening is going even if the date had only just started. Soon enough, the waiter returns with the drinks, placing them in front of you before dismissing himself again to serve other customers while your food is being prepared. By the time the food had arrived, you were sure that had you been on a date with anyone else, you wouldâve run out of things to say but since it was Bradley, the conversation flowed naturally, and you never seemed to have a lull in the conversation even once and before too long your food arrived, and you both began to dig in.
âI never asked the other day. But how are you finding Chicago?â Bradley asks after a mouthful of food.
âItâs good. Obviously, Iâve been out there a while but Iâm enjoying myself. I have some great friends out there, but I do feel quite far away from dad sometimes.â You admit, eyes flicking down to your plate before looking back up at Bradley who smiles in understanding.
âI get that. Itâs hard to be away from family.â Bradley says, a soft understanding tone to his voice which makes you feel awful. You knew he had lost both his parents before he even reached the age of eighteen.
âBradley, Iâm so sorry I didnât mean to-â
âNo donât worry, honestly. Itâs good. The more I talk about them the easier it gets.â Bradley says with a gentle smile, letting you know there were no hard feelings about it. With the topic settled, you were able to start a new conversation and the rest of the night ran smoothly. When it came to paying the bill, you went to get your card out, hand reaching to hand it to the waiter, but Bradley was quicker, gently taking your card from your hand and giving his card to the waiter instead.
âBradley, come on I can pay.â You insist, your pleas in vain as the waiter begins to process the payment with Bradleyâs card.
âI asked you on this date. Itâs on me.â Bradley retorts with a grin, thanking the waiter as his card is handed back to him, finally giving your card back to you, chuckling as you huff lightly. Once everything is confirmed to have gone through, youâre given the freedom to leave and Bradley gets up first and you follow, letting him guide you through the bustling restaurant until you reach the cool night air of the outside world. You head back to the Bronco, of course letting Bradley open your door for you again. On the journey back, you both continue to talk with each other, even singing along lightly to one of the songs that come over the radio. By the time Bradley pulled up on the end of your road you couldnât help but feel your heart sink at the realisation that the date was over. You had the best time with Bradley, and you wished you could spend more time with him. Once again, Bradley made you wait for him to open your door before you got out of the Bronco, this time you brought the flowers with you.
âI had the best night, Bradley.â You admit softly, smiling as Bradley smiles in response.
âSo did I. Do you think we could have a second date?â Bradley asks, a slight sheepishness to his tone as he asks.
âIâd love to. This time, Iâm picking the place and Iâm paying.â You insist, pointing a joking finger at him as he laughs and shakes his head.
âAlright, you can pick. Iâll still come by and pick you up though.â Bradley replies, raising an eyebrow as you let out a soft sigh and nod.
âDeal.â You say, holding your free hand out for Bradley to shake which he does so.
âDeal.â Bradley agrees, squeezing your hand ever so softly before letting go.
âIâll text you the details.â You say as Bradley nods.
âGot it. I canât wait.â He replies, smiling as you nod in response.
âGood night, Bradley.â You say softly.
âGood night, y/n.â Bradley replies, his voice matching yours in softness. Just as you turn to head back to your dadâs house, you decide to turn to face Bradley and then kiss his cheek softly before whispering one last good night and heading back to Maverickâs house. As you head back to the house, you missed Bradley flushing a deep red with an awestruck smile on his face, watching as you walked down the road, unaware of the effect you had on him.
When you reached your dadâs house, you noticed that his bike was absent which made you tilt your head slightly in confusion before just deciding to shrug it off and enter the house. You were surprised to find none of the lights on, you flipped them on and found a note on the little shelf where the key bowl was. You opened the note and saw your dadâs scratchy handwriting, informing you that heâd gone to Pennyâs house, making your eyebrows raise slightly in shock.
âDidnât think heâd actually listen to me.â You mutter to yourself, heading through the house to try and find something in the kitchen that could act as a vase for the beautiful flowers Bradley had gotten for you. After searching for a few minutes, you were able to find something that would work and you filled it with water, putting the flowers in before heading upstairs to your room. You place the flowers on the bedside table before getting changed and then heading into the bathroom to clean your face and brush your teeth before getting into bed. You chose to stay up for a while to text Bradley before you both eventually decided to go to bed with the promise of talking in the morning.
The next morning, you woke up and were somewhat unsurprised to find that your dad was still out, so you looked around in the kitchen and found some food to make yourself some breakfast. As you prepared your breakfast, you texted Bradley a good morning message, smiling to yourself when he replied not long after you had sent your message. You continue to text him as you eat your food, unable to rid yourself of your smile as he continues to send you texts. In between messaging Bradley, you find yourself looking online for things to do that could potentially make an interesting date night for you and Bradley. You had decided that you werenât going to actively look for a restaurant as you wanted to branch out a little and find something different for the two of you to do and as you searched you eventually found a nice-looking mini golf place along the beachfront and when you sent some pictures of the place to Bradley and proposed it as the location of your second date just for a little bit of fun he was more than onboard with the idea. The two of you decide on a time to meet later that day. You knew it was probably a bit soon to have a second date the day after the first, but you werenât permanently in Miramar, and you were both aware of it and wanted to make the most of you being here.
Just as you finish cleaning up after yourself after finishing your food, you hear the front door open and Maverick call into the house, letting you know he has returned. You called back to Maverick, letting him know that you were just in the kitchen. It didnât take him very long to head to the kitchen and you could tell from his face that he had a good night.
âSo⊠how was Pennyâs?â You ask with a raised eyebrow and smirk as your dad rolls his eyes at your words, heading to the coffee machine, grabbing a mug and filling it with coffee.
âIâm pretty sure you can figure it out for yourself.â Maverick mutters, silently willing his mug to fill up with coffee quickly.
âIâm sure I can.â You say with a soft chuckle, focusing on cleaning up after yourself.
âDid you have a good time calling your friend last night?â Maverick asks, finally picking up his mug and taking a sip of coffee.
âYeah, she loved seeing the beach. She couldnât stop talking about how jealous she was of the beach sunsets.â The lie came quickly and easily and thankfully your dad didnât think much of it, just nodding lightly and continuing to sip on his coffee. It didnât look like your dad was awake enough to hold a functioning conversation, so you quietly dismissed yourself, heading upstairs to shower and get changed so youâre ready for the day.
After showering, you enter your room to get changed and you smiled when you caught sight of the flowers on your bedside table. You couldnât wait to spend another evening with Bradley. You donât know how you were going to keep lying to your dad, especially if your next date went as well as the last and you were going to come back to Miramar in the future. You wished your dad could be okay with the idea of you and Bradley being together. You valued your dadâs opinion so much and you thought he of all people would be okay with you potentially dating Bradley. Bradley was an aviator, but he wasnât one of the aviators your dad was talking about when he enforced the rule. Shaking yourself out of your thoughts, you finish getting ready for the day and head back downstairs and find your dad fast asleep on the sofa.
âYou are the only person I know who could drink coffee and fall asleep right after.â You mutter quietly to yourself, picking up the empty mug and taking it to the dishwasher as you reminisce on all the times your dad would doze off so soon after having a cup of coffee. After the brief tidy up you debate your next move. Part of you wanted to go and hang out with Bradley, but you didnât know where he lived, nor did you want him to get sick of seeing you before your second date. So, you ended up deciding to just entertain yourself, you had a book, and the beach was nearby so you decided to take yourself down to the beach to read and soak up the sun while you could. You packed up a small bag with your book and a couple of other little things you figured youâd need while you were out before leaving a little note on the coffee table in front of your dad so he wouldnât panic when he eventually woke up.
After you left the house, you slowly made your way towards the beach. It had so quickly become one of your favourite spots in Miramar and it made you happy that your dad had finally been able to settle down somewhere as beautiful as this. You sat yourself down on the towel you had brought with yourself and opened your book, eyes beginning to scan the pages, getting immersed in the world you were reading about. There were a few times when cocky Top Gun trainees would whistle to get your attention and then flex and show off in front of you, all of them unaware of you rolling your eyes beneath your sunglasses. Those were the type of aviators you had vowed to avoid. And they didnât know that your heart had already been stolen by a much kinder and gentler aviator. One who was more than likely their superior. Once you stopped paying them any mind, they grew bored in trying to get your attention and instead found someone else who would give them the attention they wanted. You were able to get through a good chunk of your book with the sounds of the beach surrounding you. Just as you decided to pack up and head back home, figuring you had been out long enough, you caught sight of a family playing on the beach, the father scooping his son up and holding him close as the boy giggled and hugged his dad. The sight made your heart melt, and it made you wish all the more that you could remember the time you had spent in Miramar when you were little.
After tearing your eyes away from the sight, you started to make your way home, still finding yourself admiring your surroundings with every step you took. It didnât take you long to make your way back to your dadâs house and just as you entered the house, you heard the tv playing in the living room, letting you know that your dad was now a bit more awake. You then head into the living room, greeting your dad as you enter the room, smiling at him as he greets you in return.
âDid you have a good time at the beach?â Maverick asks as you ease yourself down onto the armchair, nodding as you sit down.
âIt was nice to just relax and read my book. I donât get to do that much back in Chicago.â You say, glad you took the time you had to take care of yourself and relax at somewhere as beautiful as the beach.
âIâm glad you got a chance to relax. It must get pretty busy with your job, huh?â Maverick muses, realising heâs never truly sat down and thought about how busy your life can be.
âItâs a lot of long hours. But I knew what I was getting myself into when I pursued this career.â You admit. You had inherited a lot from your dad, one of which was your willingness to put in the hard work to get yourself where you wanted to be in life.
âI probably donât say this enough but Iâm so proud of you.â Maverick says softly, smiling over at you which makes you smile at his words.
âThat means a lot, dad. Thank you.â You say softly, both of you standing from where you were sat and crossing to each other, hugging each other tightly. It wasnât that your dad didnât tell you he was proud of you, even if he thought he didnât say it enough, in fact, he had said it to you a lot growing up. When you graduated college, you were sure he said it a hundred times just at the ceremony alone. Every time he told you that he was proud of you, it made your heart swell. All you ever wanted to do was make your dad proud.
You decide to spend the day spending time with your dad, talking about things and even coercing him into telling you a few stories from when you were little and lived in Miramar. It was nice to hear some stories from your childhood, especially when Goose, Carole, and Bradley were involved in the stories. You knew your dad missed his friends, and that was part of the reason you didnât want your potential relationship with Bradley to drive a wedge between them. They were both the last thing left they had of Goose and Carole, and youâd never forgive yourself if you ruined their relationship after they had just mended it. When it grows close to the time you agreed to meet with Bradley, you begin to excuse yourself, getting up from the sofa.
âWhere are you off to tonight?â Maverick asks, watching as you get up and begin to cross to the doorway so you can freshen up.
âI found a mini golf place down by the beach and Bradley kindly agreed to come with me for a friendly match.â You say with a grin, hoping your dad doesnât think too much about Bradley being mentioned.
âYouâve seemed so much happier now youâve reconnected with Bradley.â Maverick says, clearly not missing the effect Bradley had on you since you started talking with him again.
âI didnât realise how much I missed him until we started talking again.â You admit with a light shrug, trying not to give too much away about your feelings for Bradley.
âWell, Iâm glad you two have been able to be friends again.â Maverick says with a nod, silently dismissing you and you take the chance, heading upstairs to change and freshen up for meeting Bradley.
It takes practically no time for you to freshen up and get ready for your second date with Bradley. You were silently thankful that you had the sense to pack some cute outfits for your visit because now you didnât feel like you had to panic and find clothes that might work. When you finish getting ready, you head back downstairs after checking your phone and seeing a text from Bradley saying that heâs on his way, grab your key, and bid your dad a quick goodbye as you make your way out the door.
Once more you make your way down the road, realising that you beat Bradley to where you agreed to meet. You waited patiently for but a couple of minutes before Bradley walked up alongside you.
âFunny seeing you here.â Bradley says jokingly, both of smiling as you turn to face him.
âI never couldâve expected to run into you here.â You say, a joking sarcastic tone to your voice as you let out a breathy laugh before giving Bradley the hug he offered. After greeting each other, you both begin the walk to the mini golf place. It wasnât too far from your dadâs house, and you enjoyed getting to walk with Bradley, especially when you had no shortage of conversation topics. It didnât take you long to reach the mini golf course and as you got closer; you began to take longer strides to get out in front of Bradley to ensure you could pay for it. Thankfully, Bradley stuck true to the deal and patiently waited for you to pay, only stepping closer when the employee at the booth handed you two golf clubs and two golf balls, taking one of each from you.
âLetâs play.â
As you make your way around the course, taking it in turns while making light conversation with each other each step of the way. As you get ready to take your first shot on the course you had moved on to, Bradley quickly steps forward.
âHey, do you mind if I just do something that might help you really quick?â Bradley asks, making your focus shift from the golf ball to him.
âYes, of course.â You say with a smile, waiting as Bradley takes a step closer to you.
âDo you mind if I touch you?â Bradley asks, his voice soft as he studies your expression, not wanting to make you uncomfortable.
âYes.â Your voice is just as soft as his. Bradley then gently rests his hands on your hips, missing how your breath hitches in your throat at the gentle contact.
âIs this okay?â His voice was soft against the shell of your ear, making your heart pound ten times faster.
âOf course.â You mumbled, fighting the feeling of your cheeks heating up as Bradley carefully adjusted your body, his hands remaining on your hips even after he had finished adjusting your body.
âThere, try taking a swing now.â Bradley says, removing his hands from your hips and taking a small step back, making you hold back a frown at the sudden lack of contact. You try to focus yourself after Bradley had stepped away, focusing on where you needed to aim for, and not shifting your body from where Bradley had carefully placed it. You took a deep breath before swinging your club, hitting the golf ball with just enough power to bag yourself a hole-in-one.
âI did it!â You cry out triumphantly, holding your hands up in celebration.
âThere you go!â Bradley praises, pulling you into a hug, and carefully avoiding your golf club.
âYouâve given away your best trick. Now Iâm going to kick your ass.â You say smugly, laughing as Bradley shakes his head jokingly.
âYouâre definitely a Mitchell with that competitive attitude.â Bradley jokes, making you roll your eyes before you and Bradley begin to move on to the next part of the course. It doesnât take the two of you much longer to get through the remainder of the course and by the time you had finished, you had practically stopped keeping score, instead just focusing on having fun with each other. After returning the clubs to the employee at the booth, you took a little walk further down the beach, finding a wall to sit down at to watch the waves crashing gently against the shore. You and Bradley continue to converse quietly, taking in the beautiful sights the San Diego beach has to offer. At a lull in the conversation, Bradley turned to face you, making you mimic his actions.
âAre you okay, Bradley?â You ask softly, analysing his expression, trying to anticipate what he might say to you.
âCan I kiss you?â Bradleyâs question took you off guard, yet you couldnât stop your heart from pounding in excitement.
âYes.â You replied breathlessly, and at your response, Bradley gently cupped your face in his hands, inching closer before his lips met yours, your eyes fluttering shut at the contact. The kiss was perfect, it was like putting together two pieces of a puzzle. You didnât want the moment to end at all but eventually, the need for air became too much and you both gently pulled away from each other, smiling as you locked eyes.
âThat was⊠wow.â You say breathlessly.
âIâm hoping that was a good wow.â Bradley says with a grin and a raised eyebrow.
âIt definitely was.â You reply, leaning in for another kiss which Bradley is more than happy to reciprocate.
âDo you think we could make this official? Will you be my girlfriend?â Bradley asks, watching you with the gentlest gaze.
âIâd be a fool to say no to you.â You say happily, pulling Bradley into a hug, your grin widening further than you thought possible, especially when Bradley pressed a soft kiss to the top of your head as he squeezed you ever so slightly closer. You had never been happier than you were in this moment with Bradley. The two of you continue to chat, embracing each other as you watch the sunset across the horizon.
âWe should probably get you home, huh?â Bradley muses softly when he feels you shiver against him, instantly shedding his jacket and wrapping it around your shoulders. You get up wordlessly, waiting for Bradley to follow suit and then you begin to slowly walk back together, hands interlinked as you quietly converse, nothing able to wipe the smiles from your faces. When you eventually reach the end of the road leading to your dadâs house once more, you turn to face Bradley.
âTonight was amazing.â You say, squeezing Bradleyâs hand softly.
âIt was.â Bradley agrees softly.
âLooks like we have an excuse to see each other more before I leave then?â You muse softly, looking at Bradley as he nods.
âAbsolutely.â Bradley says, his smile gentle.
âWe can meet at the Hard Deck tomorrow. My squad will be there, but I wonât make you introduce yourself if you donât want to though. We can find a quieter part of the bar to hang out.â Bradley then continues, carefully picking his words in an attempt to not scare you off.
âI wouldnât mind meeting your team. I believe I owe one of them a thank you for saving you and dad on that mission you went on.â You say, more than happy to meet Bradleyâs team.
âDonât thank him, itâll go straight to his head and then he wonât be able to shut up about it for ages.â Bradley says with a laugh, thinking about how Jake would react to being thanked.
âWell, I at the very least owe him a drink for what he did.â You say with a light shrug and a smile.
âI wonât stop you but donât say I didnât warn you.â Bradley says with a soft shake of the head, making you roll your eyes with a light scoff.
âI can handle egotistical aviators any day of the week.â You say, folding your arms across your chest and raising your eyebrow as if accepting a challenge.
âYou know, Iâd pay good money to see you put Hangman in his place.â Bradley admits, chuckling to himself at the mental image of you taking Jake down a peg or two.
âIf I need to, I will.â You say with a soft laugh, both you and Bradley knowing that you can absolutely handle yourself. You then both fall silent for a brief moment before Bradley clears his throat softly.
âI should probably let you head back.â Bradley says, nodding in the direction of Maverickâs house, not wanting to keep too long.
âThank you again. Tonight was amazing.â You say, taking Bradleyâs jacket off and handing it to him.
âI should be thanking you.â Bradley says, slipping his jacket back on.
âIâll see you tomorrow, Bradley.â You whisper, stepping closer to Bradley and placing a quick, soft kiss on his lips, pulling away with a smile.
âIâll see you tomorrow. Goodnight.â Bradley whispers in response, smiling sweetly as you take a small step back offering him one last smile before turning around and making your way back to your dadâs house with a wide smile that you were sure could never fade.
When you entered the house, you were unsurprised to hear the tv on in the living room. After all, you and Bradley hadnât been out too long, so it made sense that your dad was still up and about.
âHey, dad.â You say, standing in the doorway to the living room, smiling as he looks over at you.
âHey, sweetheart. How was the mini golf?â Maverick asks, his focus completely on you.
âIt was great. We had a good time. I kicked Bradleyâs ass of course.â You say, jokingly bragging even though you had no idea who had won or lost between you and Bradley.
âThatâs my girl. Want to finish watching this movie with me?â Maverick offers, patting the sofa to encourage you over. You nod and cross the room to the sofa, easing yourself down on the sofa next to your dad, relaxing back against the cushions as you watch the movie. You loved watching movies with your dad, you had similar tastes in movies, and you made funny comments to each other during the movie, commenting on a characterâs choice or how you wouldâve handled a situation. Partway through the movie, your dad decided to order some food given that the two of you hadnât had any dinner. The two of you perused a menu and picked some food before Maverick placed the order. You both continue to watch the movie until the doorbell rings, giving away that the food has arrived, and you go to pick it up from the delivery driver while Maverick grabs some plates and drinks. Once all the food is plated up, you focus back on the movie, still exchanging comments and enjoying each otherâs company. It felt like forever since you had been able to spend time with your dad like this and you were so grateful that you took the time off to come and visit him.
By the time the movie had finished, the food had been eaten and you were feeling the excitement of the day catching up to you, so you stood up, stretching your arms above your head as you stood.
âI might go and start winding down. Iâm exhausted.â You say, a yawn spilling past your lips as you talk, emphasising your point.
âI believe you. You go and get an early night, sweetheart.â Maverick says as you pick up your plate and cup, nodding lightly at his words, heading into the kitchen to put your things away before returning to the living room just as Maverick was standing up himself.
âNight, dad.â You mumble, reaching out to hug your dad which he happily reciprocates, holding you close.
âNight, y/n.â Maverick replies, squeezing you a little tighter before releasing you. When he lets you go, you head up to your room and quickly get ready for bed, clambering under the covers and texting Bradley. You had a back-and-forth chat with him, telling him about how excited you were to see him next and how you couldnât wait to meet his team. You also confessed that you would like to tell your dad about your new relationship with Bradley before you went back to Chicago, but you wanted Bradleyâs thoughts first and he let you know that whenever you were ready, heâd be there to help you tell Maverick.
Eventually, you fell asleep and when you woke up in the morning, you remembered that youâd be meeting with Bradley at the Hard Deck, and it kicked you into high gear. You knew you wouldnât be meeting him until the late afternoon, but you wanted to ensure that you had sufficient time to prepare for the evening. You got up and once you were showered and dressed, you headed downstairs to make some breakfast for you and your dad. As you prepared the breakfast, you put the radio on quietly for some background noise and you hummed lightly to the song playing.
When Maverick came down for breakfast, you had just begun plating it up and you handed him a plate just as he began to sit down. You then poured him a mug of coffee, placing it down on the table with a smile before focusing on plating up your own food. You then sit down opposite your dad and the two of you have a chat over dinner. You decided youâd spend the day with your dad before heading to the Hard Deck, so you laid out a plan with your dad since you knew you didnât have much longer left in Miramar. You were excited to do some more things with your dad, especially given the number of times youâd been disappearing in the evenings to hang out with Bradley. You go with your dad to various places around Miramar that you havenât seen yet. He even took you to Top Gun, showing you around his workplace, and even able to show you some of the jets he flew. Stepping back into Top Gun felt familiar to you, you didnât have any concrete memories of the building, but the familiarity was overwhelming, and you were so happy your dad found himself back at Top Gun, so he not only had the familiarity but because he also had the stability of working in one place without having to move constantly. By the time you had finished the tour of Top Gun, you became aware of the time and turned to your dad.
âHey, dad. I promised Bradley Iâd meet with him at the Hard Deck to meet his team in like an hour or so. Is it okay if I head home to get sorted?â You ask, turning to face your dad.
âYouâve been spending an awful lot of time with Bradley. Is there anything you should know about?â Maverick asks, eyebrow slightly raised as he watches you.
âDad, itâs not like that. He just wanted me to meet his friends. Besides, I do owe one of them a drink at least for saving you and Bradley.â You reply, shrugging lightly as you explain yourself. You longed to tell your dad, but you knew it wasnât the right time, not without Bradley to support you through it.
âWell, thatâll go straight to his head.â Maverick says with a chuckle gesturing with his head for you to follow him which you do so, trying to hide your smirk when you realise your dad has said practically the same thing that Bradley had when you mentioned buying a drink for the aviator who saved both your dad and Bradley. You followed your dad out to his car, finding it a little bit funny at the number of times heâs used the car in the duration of your stay when you know heâd much rather be riding around on his motorbike. You both get into the car and Maverick begins the drive back to his house.
Once he pulls up and parks the car, you both get out and you make your way into the house and up to your room so you can freshen up. After youâve made yourself a little more presentable for the evening, you head back downstairs to spend a little bit more time with your dad before heading down to the Hard Deck. Just before you leave to head down to the bar, you bid your dad goodbye, promising to be back before itâs too late.
The walk to the Hard Deck was quiet without Bradley around to keep you company, but you knew youâd be seeing him soon enough. Besides, as you made your way down to the bar, you were able to appreciate the beauty around you before you had to go back to Chicago.
By the time you make it to the Hard Deck, you feel your phone buzz in your pocket making you stop in your tracks, pull your phone out of your pocket to read the message you had received from Bradley, letting you know that he was in the Hard Deck and that you could just head in whenever you were ready. Taking a deep breath, you head into the bustling bar, glancing around and quickly locating Bradley just by his Hawaiian shirt, seeing him standing with a group of people who you could only assume were his team. As you cross the room, Bradley turns around and catches sight of you, eyes lighting up as he smiles and crosses to meet you in the middle, instantly capturing your lips in his for a sweet kiss.
âWell, thatâs one way to say hello.â You mumble with a smile as you both pull away slightly, smiling at each other.
âIâm just happy to see you.â Bradley confesses softly, pulling you into a gentle hug, and pressing a kiss to the top of your head.
âThat makes both of us.â You reply happily, eyes fluttering closed in the embrace for a brief moment before you pull away.
âLetâs get you acquainted with the team, shall we?â Bradley says, wrapping a gentle arm around your waist and guiding you over to the group of people he had just been standing with by the pool table. As you approach the group, Bradley is quick to introduce you to everyone, making sure he made it known that you were his girlfriend before he introduced everyone by name. Once you had been introduced to everyone, you turned to address the group.
âAlright, so which of you is the one I owe a drink for saving my dad and Bradley?â You ask, making the group exchange looks at the realisation that youâre not only Bradleyâs girlfriend but Maverickâs daughter as well. Once they get over the initial shock of the revelation, a blond man steps forward, a cocky smirk on his face as he smiles at you.
âWell, sounds like you owe me a drink then.â He says with a smirk, leaning back against the pool table with an eyebrow raised.
âIâm a woman of my word.â You say simply, shrugging with a laugh before going over to the bar to order a drink for both you and Jake from Penny, greeting her happily as you do so. When youâve grabbed the drinks, you return to the group, handing one of the beers to Jake which he takes happily, making sure everyone saw the special treatment he believed he was getting.
âYou werenât lying when you said it would go to his head.â You muse with a laugh as Bradley winds an arm around your middle, pulling your back to his chest as he lets out a soft chuckle.
âHeâs just warming up.â
Unbeknownst to you and the others, Maverick entered the bar while you were all occupied with your conversations and sat himself at the bar, smiling at Penny as he did so. As he received his drink, he glanced over at you with the Daggers, and his eyebrows furrowed as he saw the embrace Bradley had you in, and he certainly didnât miss Bradley pressing soft kisses to your cheek as you laughed, looking up at him with all the love in the world.
âDid you know about them?â Maverick asks the next time Penny stops in front of him, gesturing over in your direction with his head.
âNo more than you did clearly. But it was obvious they liked each other the moment they had that little meet-up when y/n first came back. Bradley did mention you warning him away from her though.â Penny says, focusing her attention on a stain on the bar top and wiping a cloth along it.
âI just didnât want her to get hurt. I know what aviators are like.â Maverick says, eyes fixed on the drop of condensation running down the beer bottle in his hand.
âPete, sheâs not a child and Iâm sure sheâs told you as much. Besides, Bradley looks at her like she holds the entire world in her hands. Bradleyâs not like the others. Give him a chance.â Penny says softly, watching the man in front of her softly, seeing how he silently processes her words. Instead of responding, Maverick looked back over to where you and Bradley were, and he could see the look of love evident on both of your faces.
Suddenly, a patron at the bar who was clearly already much too drunk stumbled in your direction and Maverick was convinced he had never seen a quicker reaction from Bradley until right now. Bradley, with one of the arms he had wrapped around your middle, carefully manoeuvred you so that you were now behind him, and he took the brunt of the patron falling on him, immediately steadying him while shooting him a warning look. Once the guy had wandered back to his friends, Bradley turned around to face you, placing gentle hands on your hips and giving you a soft kiss, pulling away with a gentle smile before inaudibly chuckling at something you said.
âThey look happy together.â Maverick says softly, thinking of how Goose used to look at Carole the same way Bradley was looking at you.
âThey do. Give Bradley a chance.â Penny reiterates, looking down at Maverick who nods sheepishly.
âIâll speak to them in a bit. I donât want to disturb them yet.â Maverick says, turning his attention to Penny, smiling softly at her before striking up a new conversation with her.
Across the bar, you were talking to the Daggers, finding out some more stories from when Bradley had first come back to Top Gun.
âShouldâve seen him. He was a menace when he found out Maverick was teaching. Damn near got themselves killed during training with the stunts they pulled.â Jake explains, beer in hand as he leans up against a nearby table as you watch Bradley and Natasha play a game of pool against each other.
âSomehow that doesnât surprise me. Bradley was pretty pissed at dad when everything went down, and dadâs stubborn as anything.â You say with a gentle roll of the eyes.
âIâm just glad they got past their issues by the time they went on the mission. I hate to admit it, but theyâre our best solo aviators.â Javy admits with a chuckle, making you smile as Jake gawps in mock shock.
âIâm right here you know. Iâm the one who saved their asses.â Jake shoots in retaliation, making you and Javy laugh to yourselves.
âWhat are you two laughing about?â Bradley asks with a smile, sidling up alongside you.
âJavy admitting that you and dad were among the best two pilots for the mission seemed to be a bit of a hit to Jakeâs ego.â You explain, making Bradley chuckle as he reaches out to clap Jake on the shoulder then holding out the pool stick for him to take.
âLetâs step outside for a minute.â Bradley mumbles, his voice low as he dips his head near your ear so you can have a semi-private conversation with the bustling volume of the bar. You nod and let Bradley lead you towards the front door of the bar, both of you instantly stopping in your tracks when you see your dad standing near the door, a soft smile on his face.
âCan we talk?â He asks the two of you, eyes flicking between you and Bradley as you both nod lightly. Maverick then gestures for you to follow him outside which you do, stepping out onto the deck and watching the waves crash against the beach.
âMav I-â
âBradley, I think itâs best I do the talking here. Look I was wrong to tell the two of you to stay away from each other. Just seeing the two of you earlier was enough of a wake-up call for me to realise that I was being a dick and that you both clearly love each other. I wonât get in your way.â Maverick says, making you and Bradley exchange a look before looking back at your dad.
âDadâŠâ You mumble, heart softening at your dadâs gentle smile.
âBradley looks at you the same way Goose looked at Carole.â Maverick then continues, making you look at Bradley who has a slight blush painted across his cheeks at the revelation.
âThank you, Mav. I promise Iâll look after her.â Bradley promises, holding a hand out for Bradley to shake, instead being pulled into a hug by your dad.
âI know you will.â Maverick says reassuringly before pulling away from the embrace, patting Bradley on the shoulder, and taking a step back before you hug your dad gratefully.
âI love you dad, thank you for giving us a chance.â You whisper, only audible to you and Maverick.
âI love you too, sweetheart. Now, enjoy the rest of your evening.â Maverick replies, squeezing you a little tighter and planting a kiss on the top of your head before releasing you and heading back into the Hard Deck. After the door closes behind your dad, Bradley turns to face you with a grin and slightly raised eyebrow.
âWould you like to come to mine?â
It took practically no time for you and Bradley to get back to his small house, the two of you head into the living room and settle down on the sofa. As you sit down, Bradley wraps an arm around you and pulls you into his side gently. At the shift of embrace, you look up at Bradley, a soft smile on your face that matches his. Before you knew it, you started to lean up to press your lips to his softly, pulling away for a brief moment to adjust yourself, turning yourself more towards Bradley and cupping his face in your hands before kissing him once more. Bradley was quick to reciprocate the kiss, bracing a gentle hand on the back of your head in an attempt to hold you closer while his other hand winds around your waist, pulling you closer in that way as well as your eyes and his flutter closed. When the need for air becomes too much for both of you, you pull away but only enough to press your foreheads against each other, eyes opening again as your hand drifts up to play with Bradleyâs hair.
âI know your dad pointed it out earlier but⊠I love you.â Bradley murmurs, a shy smile on his face as you smile back.
âI love you too.â You reply quietly before Bradley reconnects your lips for another kiss. Pulling you impossibly closer until air is needed once more.
âI know Iâve already asked you to be my girl, but what if you stayed? Is there a way you could stay here, with me?â Bradley asks, knowing that it was probably a long shot to ask you such a question, especially when the two of you had not long got together but he couldnât just sit by and let his chances slip by again. To his surprise, you smiled, and gently ran a hand through his hair.
âI was actually visiting for more than just seeing dad. I actually got an offer to transfer to a hospital here in San Diego. I wanted to see the area before I made a choice and⊠I think I have a reason to accept it now.â You say, barely able to finish your sentence before Bradley kisses you again, gently pushing you back until you are lying back on the sofa with him hovering over you.
âWell looks like we have some good news to celebrate then.â Bradley says after breaking the kiss, smiling down at you as you smile back.
âSounds like we do.â You mumble before grabbing the lapels of Bradleyâs Hawaiian shirt to pull him back down for another kiss.
âI think we should take this to my room.â Bradley mumbles against your lips, making you loosen your grip on his shirt slightly so he can pull away, pulling you up with him yet still unable to keep his hands and lips off you as you make your way upstairs to his room. Just as you reach the door to his room you begin tugging his Hawaiian shirt off, carelessly discarding it on the floor as Bradley braces himself against the door, pushing it open behind him as you stumble in after him.
You couldnât wait to make the move to Miramar now you had Bradley. You knew he was worth the risk.

ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU
â SYNOPSIS: your parents' excitment about the election results left you with a pit of dread in your stomach. luckliy for you, you had billie, who helped you through it all.
ïżœïżœïżœ RELATIONSHIP: billie eilish x fem!reader
â WARNINGS: angst, comfort, politics, right wing family, implied homophobic family, long distance relationship (during tour)
â REQUESTED? yes, anon
â NOTE: hi my loves, i saw this request and just had to write it right away (literally wrote it in half an hour lmao) for anyone needing comfort as well as the anon who requested this, i hope you're doing okay. i'm not from america, but i'm also deeply dissapointed about the election results, and i feel for all of you who are there. i hope i did this request justice, i don't have a family who's like super against my views so i hope this is okay <3 anyone with family celebrating like the readers is in this story, please imagine me giving you the biggest hug rn, i hope you're coping okay. my dms are always open if you want to talk about anything at all, i love you all, please stay safe <33
â WORD COUNT: 1.2k words
you and billie had been dating for a while now, and she made you happier than anyone ever had before. she was your other half, and without her you would feel incomplete. you werenât on tour with her, much to both of your disappointments. but youâd had personal things that took up your time at the start of tour, so the plan was that youâd join her once she came on tour to your city, and youâd join her for the rest of tour. despite not being on tour with her, your mind always drifted back to her, she had a permanent residence in your heart.Â
so naturally, on election night, you sat in your room thinking about her. you wanted nothing more than to be held by her in this moment, youâd slipped away from dinner as soon as you could, but you could still hear your familyâs excited chatter coming from downstairs. the fact that they were happy about the way it was going, the way they wanted a future that was so drastically different from the one you had in your mind⊠it stung. your parents genuinely wanted a future that you werenât sure whether you had a place in, and you didnât really know what to do with that information.
you were trying to stay off social media, to stay away from the news, because you knew it wouldnât help youâyou couldnât change a thing. but every few minutes, youâd end up switching back to the tab on your laptop with the live updates, feeling a sense of dread settling in your stomach. you couldnât quite comprehend how so many more people had voted for him, the man who made you genuinely fear for your future.Â
so finally, you texted billie. you needed her comfort, even though it would just be her voice over a call. you needed her.Â
can i call you??
billie replied not long after, her text simple.Â
bils: ofc baby
her contact calling you came up on your screen before you could even move to call her, and you automatically accepted the face time. her face popped up on your phone after a moment, and as well as the tiredness from tour youâd been seeing so much of lately, she looked just as crestfallen as you. the two of you shared the same opinions on this, and you knew how much billie cared about it.Â
just as the call loaded properly, you heard a loud cheer from downstairs, and you couldnât stop the grimace that appeared on your face. billieâs lips curved down in a soft, sympathetic frown, âoh, baby.âÂ
a sigh left your lips, the sound somewhat defeated, âi just⊠i donât know how they want that. it feels like they want a future that iâm not safe inââ billie cut you off with an understanding sigh, she knew that if she let you keep talking, youâd simply spiral. she knew what you meant, you felt a rift between you and your parents, you felt unsure of what that meant for your relationship with them. billie herself had never experienced it, with her own family being supportive and sharing her views, but she had always been good at comforting you.Â
âiâm so sorry, baby. you know that me and my family have always got you, no matter what, yeah? weâve got your back, weâre always here for you. all of us.âÂ
your lips curled into a soft pout, her words lessening the sadness you were feeling. âi love your family.â
she smiled softly at you, âand we love you. always.âÂ
you cracked a small smile at her words, the disappointment behind your eyes still very much evident, but you felt an overwhelming feeling of love for the people in your life. even if your blood-related family didnât understand, you had your chosen family. that small fact that you had your people, who agreed with you on these things, it helped to soften the blow of your parents wanting the country to go down such a different path than you did. only slightly, but it helped. you felt the pain dull slightly.Â
the two of you stayed on the phone for a while, billie distracting you from your parents downstairs by telling you about the tour so far. obviously, she was also upset about everything going on, but she knew you needed this support and that was more important than talking about it. she just wanted you to feel okay. you could feel the emotions hanging around both of you even through the phone, but you appreciated that she wasnât mentioning them right now. youâd have plenty of time to talk about the election later, once you didnât feel so despairing about the future.Â
after about half an hour of the two of you just talking, you decided to ask her something.Â
âbils?âÂ
âhmm?â she hummed, looking up as if she could sense the importance of what you were about to say even through one word.Â
âdo you⊠do you think i could join you on tour a bit earlier than planned? i just donât know if i can stay in this house for any longer, itâs justââ
âof course.âÂ
her instant, firm reply cut off your rambling and you sighed in relief, âthank youââ
âdonât thank me, darling. i just want you to feel safe.â she paused, thinking, âyou could join us on the minnesota dates, if you want. thereâs two days there, so it gives you more time to get here. i can book you a flightââÂ
you smiled at her considerate words, the way she was taking everything into account. oh, how you loved her. âthat sounds perfect. and donât book first class this time, jesus. i can put up with an economy flight, iâm used to them. plus, i get to see you at the end of it.âÂ
she smiled warmly, âmm, you do. and then iâm wrapping you up in a massive hug and never letting you go, because i love you.âÂ
you giggled softly at her words, âi think iâm looking forward to seeing maggie more, actually.âÂ
billie rolled her eyes fondly, her mother just adored you. âi donât blame you.âÂ
the two of you talked into the night, and were still on the call when you woke up. you werenât aware that youâd fallen asleep, and you probably wouldnât have if it werenât for her soothing voice.
it was now the early hours of the morning, soft sunlight streaming through the curtains youâd forgotten to shut. the house had gone silent by now, your parents finally asleep, and you felt a tiny bit of peace just laying there in the silence. you looked at the screen for a moment, simply admiring her pretty sleeping face, the way her eyelashes fluttered slightly and her chest rose and fell with each breath. this time in a few days, youâd be in her arms again.Â
you let out a soft sigh. the country may be falling apart by the seams, but you had billie. you had her, so youâd be okay.Â

user60286430: didn't they just get married like five seconds ago?đ
I met my now husband George four years ago. He followed me on instagram, I followed him back and not long after that we were dating. Last year he proposed and just under a month ago we had our wedding, which was beautiful and only had our closet friends and family.
An hour ago I took a pregnancy test. I was only a day late on my period but I took it just in case. I could hardly believe it when I saw two lines and it was so faint that I convinced myself I was seeing things so I decided to sleep on it and then tell George when I knew for sure.
But I just couldn't keep it a secret. I blurted out, "George, I think pregnant." As soon as he walked through the front door after his shoot with Arthur tv. He was baffled. "You- woah- you think?" I nodded. He took a moment to process what I just said. "And you took a test?" He finally asked. "Yeah, the lines were really faint though. I was gonna wait until tomorrow to tell you but- it just came out."
He stepped forward and wrapped his arms around my shoulders. I let out a soft sigh of relief. "If you are then I'll be so happy," he whispered into my hair. I smiled, though he couldn't see me. "I'm so overwhelmed," I mumbled. His hand made its way up to my hair and he gently ran it over my scalp, silently reassuring me.
That night everything felt so strange. You're supposed to take the tests in the morning anyway for the most accurate results so we were just waiting and trying not to get our hopes up in case it wasn't positive.
The next morning I woke to an empty bed. I reached for my phone and then read the text George had sent me just ten minutes ago; "gone to buy more tests, hopefully I'll be back before you're awake x" I sighed softly then got up.
As I was brushing my teeth the front door clicked open and soon George was walking into the ensuite. He smiled softly as he wrapped his arms around my waist from behind, looking at me through the mirror. "Ready, love?"
"You look. I can't." I quickly passed the upside down test to George as we sat on the end of our bed. Just seconds before, the alarm on my phone rung but I couldn't bring myself to look at the test.
He took it and flipped it over. A wide smile spread across his face as an excited chuckle escaped his mouth. "Seriously?" I asked, shocked. "Y- yeah, you're pregnant!" He shot up of the bed. I giggled. "I'm gonna be a dad!" He pulled me up and into a bone crushing hug.
The next two months weren't very fun. At the beginning we were both so ecstatic. Then the morning sickness hit. I could barely eat, sleep and it was becoming impossible to make up excuses for why I couldn't go out.
George was like my rock through the entire ordeal. He was by my side every time I had to run to the bathroom, he held me and gently stroked my back as I tried to get some sleep, he pleaded with the doctor when we went for my first appointment hoping there was something, anything they could do and he let me ramble on about how I just wanted to feel normal again.
Slowly our friends figured it out and offered their help. The girls put together a basket and Faith made sure to include everything that helped her through her first trimester, Chris came round to keep me company while George had to go and film something for a brand deal and George's sister sat with me as we online shopped since I couldn't really go out.
When the sickness slowly started to ease off everyone was so relieved, George especially because he hated seeing me constantly upset. I was finally able to enjoy pregnancy, announce it on instagram and suddenly the last few months were erased from my mind.

At twenty two weeks we went on our little baby moon. I spent twelve days relaxing in the sun while George fussed about suncream and making sure I was in the shade. Since becoming pregnant he's been much more protective, which I don't mind since it's never overbearing. He's just trying to help in anyway possible.
"Good morning sleepy head." George greeted me quietly, sitting on the side of the bed next to my sleepy form and gently pushing the messy hair from my face. "Mornin'" I mumbled, shuffling slightly. He leaned down to press a soft kiss to my forehead before asking if I wanted some breakfast, to which I immediately nodded.
We left our little apartment after getting ready and walked hand in hand down the street towards the cute little outdoor café we'd spent quite a few mornings in the past week and a half.
"Thank you." I smiled at the young girl handing me my pancakes. "Will that be all?" She asked politely after placing George's breakfast in front of him. I nodded and she walked away.
"Mmm, I'm so glad I can actually enjoy food again," I said after swallowing a mouthful of food. George just stared at me. "What?" "I just love watching you." I chuckled. "That sounds a bit creepy babe."
When the day came that our baby moon was over I was sad to be leaving such a beautiful place that I'd made life long memories in but I was secretly very excited to be going home and getting back into normal life.

The next few months were spent relaxing and preparing for the arrival of our baby, who we found out the sex of just after our baby moon. We had a little gender reveal at our apartment with our families and a few special friends. We decided on a cake, classic, cute and delicious.
"I can't tell!" George announced. I stood next to him, my hand holding the knife that was cutting through the cake. Both of us were trying to peek at the sponge but it wasn't until I pulled the slice out that we spotted the pink.
Immediately the room erupted into cheers. I placed it down on a plate along with the knife and I turned to my husband. Tears welled in my eyes and when he wrapped his arms around me and pulled my body off of the ground the commotion around us seemed to disappear and all I could focus on was us.
"We're having a girl," I whispered, as though I was trying to convince myself that this was actually real. He gently placed me down, his hands landing on my hips. "I knew it. Dad intuition goes crazy." I giggled before pushing onto my tip toes and placing a loving kiss to his lips.
After that day I was suddenly obsessed with buying baby clothes, what the nursery was going to look like and the realisation hit me that I was actually going to have to push a human being out of my body, though George was quick to reassure me about that.
"Baby's the size of a small pineapple this week," I informed George as we sat on the couch, my feet resting on his lap as he slowly massaged them through my socks. I turned my phone around so he could see the app that keeps track of the baby.
"That's huge." He muttered, eyes widening slightly. I chuckled. "When she's done cooking she'll be the size of a pumpkin." "Oh god, I'm sorry." My brows furrowed, an amused look on my face. "What are you apologising for?"
"You're gonna have to lug around a pumpkin sized baby," he replied, deadly serious. I just laughed, though I wasn't particularly looking forward to that.
The months flew by and suddenly I was actually carrying a pumpkin sized baby in my stomach. At thirty seven weeks my back constantly ached, I needed to pee every five minutes, I wasn't sleeping properly since I had a future gymnast kicking around in my stomach and all in all I was just uncomfortable.
Since I could now go into labour at any second George was watching me like a hawk. Every grimace when I felt an extra strong kick, every sigh and every time my hand touched my stomach he would sit upright and just wait for me to say something.
"I'm fine, George," I'd say. "Just checking," he'd reply and that interaction would repeat itself another one hundred times before the day ended.
"I won't go if you don't want me to, Chris can find someone else last minute," George whispered as we lay in bed, my back pressed against his chest as he gently drew circles on the side of my bump. "No, I'll be okay. It's only a few hours," I mumbled back, half asleep. "Okay, just promise you'll call me if anything happens?" "Promise."
He left early the next morning to film the football video for Chris' channel, meaning I woke up alone. I went about my routine like normal though it felt like it was taking me longer to do my usual things, like I was moving at snail pace, which was slightly strange but I brushed it off.
An hour later I lay on the couch scrolling through instagram when I felt a twinge in my lower stomach. My brows furrowed slightly. "That was weird," I thought but I continued to scroll.
Until I felt it again. This time I decided to keep my promise to George and phone him. It ring a few times before he picked up. "Everything okay? Is it the baby?" He said immediately in a rushed tone. "I'm not sure, I just feel... weird."
He took in a shaky breath. "I knew I shouldn't have come today! I'm coming home." "It's fine, I'm- we're fine. Calm down-" "no no, I'll be there in twenty minutes, love you." And with that he ended the call. I sighed, feeling slightly bad that he'd had to leave the shoot but also a little relieved.
Just under twenty minutes later he burst through our apartment door. I stood in the kitchen, hands on the countertop as I took a deep breath, eyes squeezed shut. I heard his bags drop then the sound of his feet racing towards me.
"You said you just felt weird!" He placed his hand on the small of my back. I looked up at him as the pain subsided. "I did! It started getting worse after I called you."
George collected himself. "Okay okay, you're having contractions?" "Mhm, think so," I responded quietly. "How far apart?" "Like five minutes." He thought back to the birthing class we'd gone to last month. "I think we've got some time and the woman said the first kid always takes a while so let's not stress," he tried to reassure me and himself.
"I'll go get the bag, you just- uh... breathe." I chuckled softly, already calmer now that he was here. He emerged from our bedroom minutes later with the small suitcase in hand.
It took half a hour to get out of the door, drive to the hospital and get checked into a room. After that we could both relax.
The contractions weren't unbearable but I wanted the epidural as soon as possible. "Hmf-" I squeezed George's hand. "Another one?" He asked softly. All I could do was nod. "You're doing amazing sweetheart, so so good. I'm so proud of you."
Once I got the injection I felt like a million bucks. I couldn't feel the contractions, just a little bit of pressure. I sat in the bed happily as I ate my ice chips. Before I knew it, it was time to push.

"She looks just like you," I said as I watched George's eyes fill with tears, his arms secured around his daughter, just ten minutes after she'd entered the world. He glanced down at me. "I love you so much, this is officially the best day of my life," he whispered. I smiled fondly and somehow I fell in love with George all over again, in a completely different way.
We spent a day and a half in the hospital before being discharged. It had been just me, George and the baby in a little room so it felt amazing to go home. I waddled after my husband as I watched him carry our newborn -who slept soundly in her car seat- out and toward the car. He strapped her in then helped me into the backseat.
"I get what people were taking about now," I said as he stared the engine. "Huh?" "I saw a video about the 'hot dad walk' out of the hospital and I totally get them." He chuckled, though he was cautious of the sleeping baby.
After a few days and once we were in somewhat of a routine his family came over to visit. His slightly younger sister was so excited and could barely keep quiet. "She's adorable. Oh my goodness, look at her little feet!" "Okay everyone, no touching until you've washed your hands!" He announced, pointing towards the kitchen sink.
I watched with a smile on my face as he fussed over whether Maddie's head was supported, it was extremely sweet how much he cared for and loved our daughter. I couldn't wait to watch as he became the best dad ever.

i love the suit anomaly + continuation đ€ its so well written! i imagine that no. 10 can hear/sense hoshinaâs (inappropriate) thoughts about reader and snitches on him.
Another ask in relation with Suit Anomaly! Each can be read as a standalone (Ë” âąÌ Ꭰ- Ë” ) ⧠This is the 3rd part. Author's Reply: It took me a while to come up with something but I hope it didn't disappoint! I didn't expect that oneshot to be such a hit I'm actually so happy đ it's starting to turn into a mini series but i don't mind at all HAHAH Author's Note: the number of your suit in this oneshot is up to your imagination! also i hope i didn't mess the description for reader's suit design </3 i struggled with some terminologies Requests and messages are welcome on my ask box! I can also write for Narumi and Mina. Please view my navigation too âĄ
Today is finally the trial schedule for your very own numbered suit.
You wanted to fight with style, thus rejecting designs offered to you that mightâve already resembled the other numbered suits. Izumo Tech tailored it with a pencil style skirt that goes around your mid-thigh and the upper body is styled to appear as a crop top, with the regular numbered bodysuit underneath both of these layers. To some, it might be uncomfortable; but to you, itâs beyond perfect.
This, by all means, is not necessary, but Headquarters insistedâthe reason being âacknowledgement of strengthâ and âjust in case another nationwide cataclysm ensuesâ. Which is fairly valid; anything can happen anytime. Such as the situation youâre in right now.
For some reason, Soshiroâs suit started attacking him. Not by mistake, no; itâs obviously deliberate! You badly wanted to stop them, but you know you canât, not with how hostile the tail currently is. The suitâs trial result is more credible when sparring with another numbered suit, hence Soshiroâs required presence. Watching from a safe distance, you hear Soshiro yell.
âWhatâs gotten into ya?! We were perfectly in sync just minutes ago ân now youâre actinâ insane!â Heâs deflecting the tail expertly with his dual blades, but obviously struggles with it because he canât put distance between himself and his very own suit. âAre you tryinâ to kill me?! And here I thought youâre one heck of an admirer!â
âIâM NOT TRYING TO KILL YOU! Iâm stalling time!â the Kaiju countered.
You then hear Kaiju no. 10 address you, âOi, Girlie! Run while youâre at it!â
Confusion took over your features and you pointed at yourself, saying, âMe? What for? Arenât we uh, supposed to actually fight? I donât have any plans to run from a fightââ
âRun from HOSHINA! Not from a fight!â it bellowed.Â
Ah, now youâre even more confused. âShouldnât I be escaping from you, not him?â
Kaiju No. 10 seemed to get angry at this, finally spilling the beans for his sudden attack. âI think this guyâs turning into a Kaiju himself! Heâs gotten insane, what a lunatic! One moment heâs coming up with fighting strategies, the next heâs thinking of ruining your suit and devouring you the moment you stepped in!â Its tail tried to smack Soshiro at the back of his head. âYou bastard!âÂ
âPfftâŠâÂ
âThis guy was also thinking of something like, blowing out your back til you see stars?! The hell even is that! Is that a new way to kill?! Hoshina, youâre a traitor!â
Upon hearing it, you canât help but burst into laughter, forearm holding your stomach. Tears formed in your eyes and you ended up rolling on the floor, stopping their fight midway and looking over at you. âIâm sorryâ itâs just too funny!â you tried holding back your laughter again, âI-itâs just, pfftâŠ, Iâm sorry!â and you laughed again.
Soshiro sighed and sheathed his blades, scratching the back of his head. âTold ya to listen to me. You just made a fool of yourself, No. 10. And ya didnât need to air out my business!â
âO-oi! Stop laughing! I tried to protect you from this bowlcut, whatâs so funny about it?!â
Finally, you managed to calm yourself down. âNothing, nothing! Iâm pretty sure Soshiro meant that metaphorically. Iâll tell you if you need to attack him again though, I promise!â you hear Soshiro mumble, âBut I meant that literallyâ in which you playfully smacked his head.
âCan we proceed to the suit trial now? Thanks for giving me a good laugh.â you said. âAnd dear, Iâll be looking forward to that later.â you winked.

Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5
---
âWhat if I hurt her, Ben?â
âYou won't.â
âIf she was in that bed with me last night-â
âYou won't.â Benny insisted, cutting Will off before he could continue, sending his older brother a concerned, but stern glance as he turned around after filling his mug with coffee.
Will sighed and looked down at his feet, clenching his teeth together as the same thoughts that hadn't left him since last night continued to occupy his mind.
âIt was so real, manâŠâ
âI can imagine!â Benny sympathized, his eyebrows raising on his forehead, silently assessing his brother who he'd only seen that distraught once or twice before. âBut you're not going to hurt her. That,â he emphasized, referring to Willâs nightmare, âisn't going to happen.â
Will puffed out his cheeks as he exhaled again, looking out the kitchen window where the early morning sun was casting a yellow glow over the room, hoping Benny was right, but not feeling convinced.
âAre you seeing her today?â
Will pursed his lips and nodded, looking over at Benny who stared at him over the rim of his mug as he took a long sip, waiting for a proper response.
âYeah, I'm going to her place tonight.â
Benny shook his head up and down as he swallowed his coffee, appearing pleased with that answer.
âGood, that's good. Weâll have a hard session at the gym and hopefully that'll help you sleep better, too.â
âYeah, you're right. Thanks, man,â Will smiled, feeling slightly guilty that he knew he wasn't going to sleep or feel better about this anytime soon, watching Benny light up and start excitedly going on about their training after Willâs convincing lie.
After refilling his cup of coffee, Will pulled a chair out from the kitchen table and sat, staring blankly at the black beverage steaming in his mug, tuning out whatever else Benny was saying, the exhaustion he felt from not sleeping the rest of the night and the pure panic that hadnât truly left his veins making his whole body feel like lead in the wooden seat.
He wondered exactly how he would even manage to get through a workout, but knew with his tour coming up heâd have to keep training, and as he was always used to doing, he would push through even the toughest days.
Will picked his phone up off the table, checking it again to see if you had text, wondering if he should send one now, or wait until a bit later, or if he should just call you and risk you hearing that something wasnât right in the tone of his voice.
He tossed it carelessly, sighing as he picked up his mug and took a drink from it, setting it down and then grabbing his phone again, spinning it in his hand indecisively.
Will roughly rubbed his hands over his eyes after he parked his truck in your driveway, exhaling deeply before finding the strength to get out and walk to the door, his workout draining him even more than he already had been. It temporarily gave him hope that being that tired would result in him actually sleeping, but the feeling in his stomach reminded him how anxious he still felt about his nightmare and that it was something his mind wasnât going to simply let him forget.
For a moment it was all whisked away, seeing your face as you opened the door before he even had the opportunity to knock, your smile immediately making one appear on his own lips.
âHey!â you greeted enthusiastically, your presence bringing him some calm as soon as you wrapped your arms around his torso and hugged him.
Will placed his lips against your head, inhaling your scent and pressing a light kiss as he squeezed you back, the relief to have you in his arms mixing with the now persistent fear that he was capable of hurting you.
âHow was your day?â you asked, peeling away from him slightly to look at him.
âGood,â he lied, nodding and hoping he didnât look half as weary as he felt. âWhat about you?â
âIt was good,â you smiled. âBetter now.â
Will chuckled and followed you inside, kicking his boots off before following you further in and through to the living room.
âAre you hungry?â
âHmm, no, Iâm good, thanks.â Will declined, seeing a quizzical expression draw over your features.
âOkayâŠare you not staying the night?â you asked, finally noticing he came with just himself, no bag with a change of clothes or toothbrush.
âUh, noâŠâ he confirmed through a sigh, feeling guilty about it already. âI gotta be up early, something for work. Itâs looking like Iâm going to start getting back into things soon,â he lied, omitting the fact that he was already cleared and scheduled for duty in a matter of weeks.
You smiled despite feeling a slight sense of disappointment. âWell, Iâm glad I get you for a little bit at least. How are you feeling about going back?â
Will shrugged. âItâll be good to have a purpose again, maybe itâll make things feel normalâŠget me back to being who I was before I was the guy who choked someone out in the cereal aisle.â
His heart ached at how you were looking at him as he spoke, your expression so genuine and clearly caring about him and how he felt, making that sourness in his stomach amplify from his dishonesty.
âYeah, I think so, too,â you spoke softly, your eyes bright as the smile on your lips met them. âIâm really happy for you, Will. This is great news.â
You reached for his hands which he let you take hold of, pulling him in for a sweet, slow kiss that grew deeper and harder with each second, a sense of relief flooding Will over the fact that he didnât have to explain more or evade the truth.
He focused on your kiss, breathing you in as your hands began to roam each otherâs bodies and clumsily tore at clothing, stumbling toward your bedroom where he hoped that for as long as he was inside you, he would forget about everything.
It was all a mix of slow and fast, Will constantly reminding himself to relax and breathe, all of his emotions toiling within him uncontrollably.
As eager as he felt to have all of you as much as he could, Will wanted to take his time, soaking up each moment with you while he had the chance, every touch and kiss one that he tried to imprint in his memory.
Will sat on the bed, looking up at you as you stood close to him between his legs, his hands gently running up the backs of your thighs to your bum.
You sighed out slowly and closed your eyes, feeling his fingers find the edge of your panties and start to tug them down your hips, his lips landing on your bare stomach where he kissed you over and over.
He breathed in, keeping his nose and lips pressed against you, able to smell your arousal as he slipped your thong down to your knees before letting go where they fell the rest of the way to the floor.
Dragging his face along the crest of your hip bones and further down to your groin, Will moaned, his fingers indenting your flesh instinctively, feeling himself relax when your hands smoothed over his tense shoulders and back, your touch everything he needed right now.
He pulled you onto the bed with him as he laid down, both of you resting on your sides where your leg fell over his, his arms embracing you while your foreheads touched, his hand cupping your cheek to keep you close to him.
âAre you okay?â you whispered, sensing something from him you couldnât quite put your finger on.
âHmm, yeah,â he responded, moving his head so your noses rubbed together.
You gave a quick kiss to his lips, testing the waters, only to have him pull your face hard into his, his tongue delving into your mouth desperately, his claim over you clear as he released his hand from your face and grabbed under your bum, pulling your core against him where he ground his hips into yours.
With what little space there was between your bodies, you reached down and found his cock straining through the thin cotton of his boxers, grabbing it and tugging it free before angling it down to the apex of your thighs where it nestled perfectly between your folds and began to grind on him.
âGod, you feel so good, sweetheart,â he groaned, hardly able to believe it felt that incredible without even being inside you yet.
You squirmed against him, moving along his length as you breathed out slowly and closed your eyes, your mouth teasing his before slotting your lips together again. His beard was soft on your skin, but you knew with how eager you were to keep kissing him that your face would feel raw by the time you were sated, the taste of him too good to stop.
Moments passed with you just like this, kissing and teasing, indulging in the soft and slow that you seldom did, usually unable to stop yourselves from choosing a rough and fast pace.
A long whine came from you as his tip breached your entrance, pushing through and settling no more than an inch inside, the tease of it almost equally as satisfying as if he was buried completely in you.
His hands grabbed at your ass, pulling your cheeks apart, the stretch feeling so good you automatically brought your hips closer to his body, making his cock go deeper while you increased the fervor of your kiss.
Will groaned into your mouth as he shifted his body, moving at lay on top of you where his weight pressed you comfortably into the mattress, lifting his hips so his cock slid out before slowing forcing it back in again.
His fingers raked over the sides of your head, holding you securely and angling your face up to his, his tongue exploring your mouth wildly as his thrusts grew into a deep, purposeful rhythm.
The thought of never being able to do this with you again crossed his mind, wondering what the outcome of telling you he was leaving would be and if he would even make it back alive, dreading what he knew he would have to face sooner rather than later.
Trying to ignore that panic, he relished in the way your hands smoothed over his back, your touch so soft yet so meaningful it helped make everything more profound, and he vowed to put everything he had into making love to you.
There had been so many times already he had wanted to say it, to tell you he loved you, because fuck did he ever, but now he knew he couldnât, wanting to protect you from him even more and what he feared he was capable of.
Each rolling thrust was met perfectly by you, your hips purling into his to take him deep, allowing him to drag out slowly before pressing back in, the rhythm addicting and working to send you both over the edge.
Your bed moved against the wall as he put more power behind his pace, moaning and breathing into your mouth desperately as he lost himself completely in you, feeling your hand search for his where you laced your fingers together and held onto it tightly, his grip squeezing as he brought your linked hands up beside your head.
Will knew you were on the brink, able to read your body on instinct and almost better than his own, feeling your breathing change and the pitch of your whines switch, your free hand leaving marks on his back as your movements became erratic.
He felt you tense, every muscle in your body that was wrapped around his straining through your pleasure, your walls choking his cock as a surge of wet lubricated his strokes.
Will kissed you harder, absorbing your cries until your body relaxed under him, but he'd only allow you a short moment of reprieve.
He crawled down your body, a whiny moan sounding from you when he pulled out of you, your hands clawing for him to stay, but when his mouth landed on your soaked cunt your protest stopped, your hips bucking off the bed against his face as he worked to make you come again quickly.
âAre you sure you can't stay?â you whispered, tracing your fingers all over his sweaty face in a way that made him never want to move.
He sighed, closing his eyes and praying for the courage to give the answer he knew he needed to.
âI'm sure. I'm sorry.â
You looked crestfallen despite your best efforts not to, the side of your mouth turning upward as you nodded your head in understanding.
Will kissed your palm that rested beside his mouth, wanting more than anything to stay in bed with you, not even caring if he ever slept or not, but his nightmare kept nagging him and reminding him exactly why he couldn't.
âI'll call you tomorrow,â he explained, stepping out of bed and finding his boxers, leaving you in the mess of sheets to watch as he dressed.
It was so late already, making you question even more why he wouldn't just stay the rest of the night, feeling a sense of unease and confusion, and hoping you weren't reading into things too much.
âGet some sleep,â you wished, sitting up to meet him in a kiss when he came back over and leaned down, your hand slipping behind his neck where you felt him groan to your touch.
âYeah, I will. You too,â he said quietly, knowing damn well he wouldn't. âI'll lock the door behind me.â
Both of you hesitated a moment, your eyes searching each otherâs, your silence screaming the words neither of you dared to.
With a weak smile, Will turned and walked out, and everything in you felt so anxious that something between you was changing, and you couldn't determine if it was for better or worse.
The rest of the week played out the same; Will coming over to your place each evening to have dinner and spend time with you, only to make himself scarce as soon as turning in for the night was being considered.
He caught you staring a few times, watching him finish the dishes or studying his expression as you watched tv together, trying to work out what was going on in his head.
He did everything he could to act as normal as possible, but could feel himself slowly pulling away, distancing himself like he was gradually building up to the inevitable.
All of that seemed to fade the moment his body made contact with yours.
His hands would grip you tighter, each kiss more intense and passionate than the last, the time spent with his arms wrapped around you in a hug growing longer with each one, savouring your presence and everything good that you gave him.
He almost wished you would just ask, call out what you seemed to know he was doing, his guilt growing the same his love for you was, but the pain he felt in his heart at knowing he was hurting you, and was going to hurt you even more, was outshining both easily.
Six hours and forty-seven minutes. That was the total amount of sleep he'd had in the last three days, finding himself growing more irritable and angry on top of being exhausted.
He sighed when he came in the door, noticing the tv on and blaring, Benny still awake and watching a fight.
The last thing he wanted was an interrogation from his brother, and he prayed as he slipped out of his boots and put his keys in their spot that one wouldn't come tonight.
Out of the corner of his eye he could see Bennyâs head whip around, and as he walked into the kitchen, he waited for the comments to come.
âDo you keep fucking and bailing? Because it really seems like you keep fucking and bailing.â
Will took a deep breath and ignored him.
âNice,â Benny added, sarcastically.
Will opened the fridge to get a glass of water, glaring at him over the door with warning, which only encouraged Benny more.
He always had a habit of testing Will, seeing how far he could push him until he snapped, and while Will wasn't sure if that was what he was doing now, it was definitely getting on his nerves.
âGetting your fill and then leaving her hanging. You must really love her,â he drawled, staring at the tv as Will walked into the room.
âFuck off, Ben. You know why I'm not sleeping there,â Will huffed, plopping himself on the chair opposite the couch.
âI told you it isn't going to happen for real. It was a dream, man. I know you-â
âYou don't know shit!â Will barked, cutting him off.
He stood and stormed to his room, hating how his brother could be so good and understanding one minute and then go totally against him the next, but mostly hating how he knew he was right.
Coffee was barely enough to keep him functioning at this point, and after another sleepless night, Will wondered just how much more of this he could take, especially with his deployment date looming and getting closer and closer.
He counted the tablespoons of grounds he scooped out of the container and into the coffee maker, hoping a stronger brew would help him drag his feet less but worried it would only do the job of amping up his anxiety.
For the brief moments he had slept, that same nightmare kept recurring, seeing your lifeless face in his hands until he jolted awake, gasping for breath and covered in sweat.
He knew should tell you about the nightmare and that he was leaving, but his selfishness was getting the better of him, feeling as if the moment he said it out loud that his whole world would actually fall out from under him, and the thought terrified him.
Benny came into the kitchen, his arms stretched above his head with a long exaggerated yawn, and even though Will told himself he wasn't trying to, it was like he was rubbing it in his face that heâd slept so well.
As Will went to grab a mug from the cupboard, Benny brushed by him, reaching around his brother to get his own, nudging Will in the process.
Will sighed, but ignored his irritation, opening the next cupboard over to put the coffee away where Benny stuck his hand in to get the sugar.
âDonât fucking start,â Will warned under his breath.
âI didnât say anything.â
Benny gave him a look, smoothing his hair back and out of his face as he grabbed the bag of bread and took out a couple of slices.
âNo, but I know what youâre doing.â
Benny didnât respond, and Will knew he was carefully choosing what he would say when he did speak next, seeing a tension in his back as he went about his business.
âYouâre gonna have to tell her at some point, Will,â he said quietly, not looking at him.
Will swallowed thickly, feeling every muscle in his body tense up while choosing to bite his tongue.
Benny shoved him with his shoulder as he sidled up next to him, grabbing the pot of coffee before Will was able to.
âCan you stop?â Will barked, holding his empty mug up in disbelief.
Benny glared at Will as he put the pot back down, almost as if he was daring Will to make a move.
âFuck you.â
âReally?â
âYouâre acting like a dick and you know it,â Benny accused, not moving from where he stood.
Will took a step back, hanging his head. âI donât need this shit right now.â
âNo?â Benny asked excitedly. âStop being such an ungrateful piece of shit. You treat everyone like shit, like youâre owed everything because youâre hurt.â
Will shook his head, feeling anger rise up through him, but Benny just kept going.
âYou landed yourself the best girl and look what youâre doing with that. You donât think she deserves to know youâre fucking leaving in eight days?â
Bennyâs voice continued to rise as he went on, making Willâs teeth clench harder and his grip on the countertop get tighter as he leaned forward against it.
âNow youâre just pissed off because you know youâre fucking everything up. How the hell are you gonna go over there and focus when youâre turning into a complete fucking mess here?â
Will stayed quiet, hanging his head and unable to look his brother in the eye, knowing everything he was saying was true.
Benny watched him for a minute, waiting, and gave his final say before walking out of the kitchen.
âGet your shit together, man. Or something bad might really happen.â
More and more days passed between seeing each other, and by now Will imagined you had gotten the hint, having stopped initiating conversations due to how cold and short he was being with you, knowing you were doing your best to give him space in hopes that would fix everything.
Texts were rare and visits were brief, and Will could see and feel the worry radiating off of you when he was with you, your uncertainty if you were the problem blatant.
Two days remained until he deployed, and with his bag packed and everything else in order, he reached for his phone.
Can we talk?
You gave him a smile when you opened the door to let him in, but the rest of your face said it all, your eyes bleary and barely able to hold contact with his, your body language nervous as you rubbed your arm up and down even though it was brutally hot and humid.
âCan I get you anything?â you offered, the question feeling too formal but suiting the atmosphere, neither of you reaching for the other for a hug and kiss like you used to.
âNo, Iâm okay, thanks.â
âIâm guessing this isnât going to be a fun conversation, so Iâd like you to spare me even more grief then youâve already caused, Will.â
Your words came out quickly, like if you didnât rush to say them you wouldnât get them out, and your voice shook, making Willâs heart break even more than it was.
He sighed and nodded, raising his eyebrows on his forehead.
âI think we should stop before we get too far ahead of ourselves here.â
âWhat does that mean?â you scoffed, your frustration and confusion clear as day.
âWhat do you think it means?â he said pointedly, crossing his arms over his chest as he stared at you bluntly.
You nodded your head as you looked up at the ceiling, blinking quickly to fight off the tears he knew you were struggling to keep back.
âI thought this was what you wanted,â you explained. âWhy didnât you say if it was too much or too fast?â
âIâm sorry,â he said flatly, looking at your face contort with even more hurt and confusion.
âYouâre sorry?â you blurted. âYouâve spent the last however many weeks stringing me along and acting like everything was fine until all of a sudden it wasnât and then you fucking ghost me? And all you have to say is youâre sorry?â
âWhy is that so hard to understand?â he spat, the chill of his words surprising himself.
He watched your expression shift, your anger switching to a gut-wrenching hurt he knew too well, your pain washing over you in a rippling effect after his words slapped you across the face.
âBecause Iâm falling in love with you!â
He felt like heâd been punched in the stomach, knowing all along that you were but hearing it hit him so much harder, and in the act of self-preservation, he continued his facade of not loving you in return.
âYeah? Well stop, because youâre only gonna end up hurt.â
âWha-â you started, but he cut you off before you were able to start asking questions.
âIâm deploying in two days.â
Your mouth opened and closed, and he knew the feeling of not being able to properly take the breath you so desperately needed, the shock on your face forcing Will to look away and down at his boots, too cowardly to face what he caused.
âI canât go do this mission with any distractions,â he explained, his tone flat and expressionless.
âIs that all I am to you? Do you not think I care or wouldnât offer supportâŠI can't just put how I feel about you on hold or dismiss it completely, Will. Us breaking this off isn't going to make a difference in me worrying about you or erase what we have.â
Will shrugged, not knowing what else to say and feeling like he was out of lies to spew, and at this point nothing he said would make any of it better or worse.
You shook your head quickly and grunted frustratedly, wiping the tears that finally fell off your cheeks.
"I don't know why I'm crying,â you laughed, looking at him defeatedly. âYou're not mine to cry over."
Will couldnât bring himself to look at you again as he made his way over to the door, knowing damn well that he was yours as much as you were his, his entire heart left behind with you as he walked out.
After crying more tears than you thought you ever had, you peeled yourself out of bed and dragged your sorry ass to the gym, needing to distract your mind and do something good for your body, even if it meant risking seeing one or both of the Miller brothers there.
Your reflection was like a stranger, a hollowed-out version of yourself with puffy, blood-shot eyes lifting the dumbbells in your hands up and down as you worked through a set of bicep curls.
You were barely able to count through your reps, thinking how ironic it was that that was how you and Will met in the first place, but you knew the exact amount of hours it had been since he came and broke things off with you, and how long it was until heâd be on a plane flying out to wherever hell he was going.
You did a double-take in the mirror when you saw Benny come out of the change room, spinning around to see him better, the large black and blue bruise swelling around his left eye making your mouth hang open. A cut on his lower lip looked like it was still bleeding, and you thought it all to be strange when you recalled Will telling you he didnât have any more fights until the fall.
The sympathetic smile he gave you was a reminder of all the things you knew you would be missing out on, but you shoved those feelings aside and walked over to him, your curiosity getting the better of you.
âWhat the hell happened to you? I thought you werenât fighting for a while?â
Benny huffed out a laugh, rolling his eyes. âYou should see the other guyâŠâ
That drew your attention to his hands, seeing the skin on his knuckles broken and red, knowing whoever was on the receiving end of it was likely in far worse shape than him.
Before anything else could be explained, you followed Bennyâs gaze as he looked up, your heart stuck in your throat as you watched Will walk in the front door, his face even more beat up than Bennyâs was.
You looked at Benny where he just shrugged, knowing you had put two and two together.
âHe deserved it,â he said flatly, clearly not proud of it. âI donât know what the hell has gotten into him. Iâm sorry for what he did to you.â
You nodded and bit your lip, looking down at the floor because you knew if you met Bennyâs kind, blue eyes, you would crack again.
You sighed, praying your voice didnât break when you spoke. âDo you think heâs going to be okay?â
Benny nodded convincingly, the faith he had in his older brother never faltering despite whatever was happening. âYeah, heâll be fine.â
You nodded, feeling the lump in your throat return.
âAre you gonna be alright?â he asked, making you nod faster and look anywhere but at him, the tears coming on fast as all the equipment surrounding you began to blur in your vision.
âIâm sorry heâs such a dipshit.â
You laughed through your tears, and Benny did too, his broad smile making you feel a little better.
âItâs just crazy,â you started, finding your courage to speak. âI donât even hate him for what he did. I just want him to be happy and be safe.â
âYeah, me too,â he agreed. âThatâs what happens when you love someone.â
It was silent in the truck on the way over.
Benny hadnât even turned on the radio which was unusual, leaving Will with nothing to listen to other than his thoughts and the sound of his pulse, counting each heartbeat until his brother pulled onto the tarmac and parked.
âYou sure you're gonna be okay over there?â he asked, and Will could feel his eyes fixed on him.
Puffing out his cheeks, he breathed, âI think so. Kinda have to be.â
Will looked out the window, seeing all the families saying goodbye to his fellow troops, his heart aching in his chest as his mind went to you.
He blinked and then turned toward Benny, shaking his head and laughing, seeing how bad Bennyâs beat up face was and knowing he looked ten times worse.
âWe look like idiots.â
Benny ripped down the visor to look at his face in the mirror, offended Will would say such a thing.
âI look like this pretty much all the time. Are you saying I always look like an idiot?â
âI'll leave that up to you.â
Their chuckles faded out, leaving them to sit in silence for a couple of minutes, Benny studying Will carefully for any tell that he wasnât stable enough to get on that aircraft.
He saw his brotherâs chest rising and falling sharply, the pulse in his neck thumping wildly, the muscles in his cheeks flinching as he tried to control his emotions.
âEverything will be fine, man.â Benny assured him, referring to both things with you and his mission.
Will nodded and finally found the courage to look over at him, his eyes wet.
âKeep an eye on her for me?â he choked out, trying to swallow the broken sob that followed his words.
âI will.â
Benny clapped his shoulder and shook it, his eyes welling up too, knowing he would never get used to these goodbyes regardless of how many times they happened, seeing his big brother go off to war something he hated more and more over the years.
Will leaned over and pulled him into a hug, squeezing his back so tight while feeling himself start to crumble as Benny reciprocated it with equal force.
âI love you, man,â Benny mumbled against his brotherâs shoulder.
âI love you, too, Ben.â
Benny knew there was no point in punishing him anymore, it was punishment enough with his own guilt and having to go do what he was, and losing you on top of it was about all Will could handle.
Heâd have his brotherâs back no matter what, even if he didnât agree with some of the things heâd done, and knew Will would do the exact same for him if it was the other way around.
Benny had never seen Will so happy as when he was with you, and promised to himself that he would do everything in his power to help get you two back together, refusing to let him give up on what he knew was the real deal.
The brothers parted, Benny squeezing the back of Willâs neck as Will pulled the handle to open the door.
âGo get âem and get on home.â

Rock bottom (But you pulled me up) (Ingrid Engen x Reader)
I'm trying to work on my requests and WIP, but inspiration is lacking so I thought I'd try something new. This is my first time writing for someone out of the uswnt and in this style so please let me know what you think.
Warnings: Mentions of depression, anxiety, brief emotional abuse. Slightly suggestive at the end. Anything I've missed let me know.
Words: 2.8K
You could tell Ingrid was hurt, it was written all over her face. She had made you a lovely dinner and just wanted to have a movie night after not spending much time together. Yet here you were making an excuse to leave once again, you felt like a horrible girlfriend. Ingrid had taken the time to do something nice for you, but you couldn't get out of your head enough to enjoy it. Before you had the chance to get up, Ingrid uttered those three words that sent dread coursing through you. "We need to talk."
You swallowed hard before speaking, "About what?"Â
"You barely spend anytime with me anymore. You never message me first, we only do stuff because I organise it. I don't feel like you want me anymore. You're slipping away. Are you trying to get me to break up with you because this hurts so much more than just doing it yourself."
"No! Ingrid-" Tears stung your eyes as you tried desperately to keep it together. Afraid that if she saw how broken you were she would just leave. Things had been difficult for you lately, you were depressed, anxious and stressed. You felt so close to rock bottom, as a result you had been pulling away from Ingrid. The last thing you wanted was Ingrid to leave you, but you also didn't want to be a burden to her or scare her away with your emotions.Â
"Then what is it? Did I do something wrong?"
You could practically see the hope disappearing from Ingrid's eyes the longer you didn't answer, leaving hurt in its place. "I feel like when I see you, I need to be able to give you 100% of myself, of my energy and time. I can't do that right now and it makes me feel guilty. Like I'm a horrible girlfriend, that you deserve better than what I'm giving you."
Ingrid took your hand, everything in you fighting the urge to lean into her touch, to fall into the comfort you knew was waiting. If only you could bring yourself to accept it. The voices of your parents and ex-girlfriend hung in the back of your mind stopped you though. The voices that told you you were a burden to the people around you, that everyone had bigger problems to worry about and didn't care about you. The voices that told you Ingrid deserved better than you and your problems.Â
"Elskling, relationships don't have to be equal all the time. There's times where it'll be 50/50, but there's times where you give 90% and I'll give 10% or the other way round, sometimes it'll be 70/30 or 60/40. You get my point. What's going on? You haven't been yourself lately and it's really worrying me. Talk to me please."
You sighed pulling away from Ingrid to cross your legs under yourself, grabbing a cushion to hold. There was a part of you that thought being single would be easier, that there was less risk of hurting Ingrid that way. At the same time you knew it was those stupid little voices in the back of your mind that kept pushing that thought. You loved Ingrid more than anything in this world and deep down you knew she loved you just as much. You didn't want to let everyone else win, you didn't want to let your mind win for once in your life.Â
Talking about feelings was incredibly hard, it wasn't something you could do while being comforted by Ingrid or anyone really. "I'm sorry for the way I've been acting lately, it's not fair to you and I know that. I-I'll try to explain it all, bu-but I need you to be patient with me. Just let me speak and not touch me, I can't do this if you do."
"Anything you need. I just need you to know that whatever you tell me, I won't ever judge you. I love you Y/n, I love you so much."
"I love you Ingrid. I'm sorry if I ever made you doubt that. Okay, so I um I think I need to start with why I have such a hard time letting people in, especially those I love. My family, well to put it bluntly they're assholes. They were constantly putting down everything about my sister and I, nothing we ever did was good enough. Any problems we went through were nothing to them, they always told us that people had bigger problems, that they had bigger problems and we were just adding more stress to their lives if we talked to them about anything remotely not positive. Tha-thats the short version anyway. My uh my ex was pretty similar, she would tell me that she had better things to do then deal with my trauma or depression. If I was unhappy she would turn it around, say that she wasn't enough to make me happy. Even before her, I majorly struggled with my feelings and opening up to people. Fear mostly, that's why I um haven't told you anything. Fear that I'll be too much for you and that you'll leave me."
Tears threatened to fall, but pushing them back you continued talking. "I'm really struggling right now Ingrid. My depression is the worst it's been in years. The anxiety just sits there constantly under the surface making it feel impossible to breathe. Constant doubt about if I've made the right decisions, if I'm good enough at football, if I'm good enough for you, there are so many more things I could list. Sometimes I feel like everyone would be better off if I just packed up and left. I'm so sick of feeling like this, but I don't know how to get it to stop. This is probably one of the scariest things I've ever done, but I've had already almost lost you Ingrid. I can't let them win by actually losing you. I love you so fucking much, I can't lose you Ingrid, I can't."
Tears were near pouring out of you both as Ingrid sat there for a second. When you didn't speak she must have decided you were finished talking because the next second arms wrapped around you so tightly and you completely broke. Ingrid held you tight until the sobs turned to sniffles then you feel silent. Ingrid's hold never completely let go, it was like a life line at this point.Â
"I love you Y/n. I loved you before and I still love you just as much now. I'm not going anywhere. Nothing your parents or ex said is true. I always want to know how and what you're feeling, I will always be here for you. No matter what your mind tells you, you are never too much for me or for the team or anyone who truly loves you. Our lives are so much better with you here so please don't even think about leaving because we will miss you. I will be here every step of the way while you figure things out, I will help you get the help you need. If you need space, I'll give you that, but if you need me here then I will always be here. I know you feel like you need to be giving me all of yourself, all of your energy, but you don't. Even if you can just give me 1% until you get over this bump in the road then that's enough for me. You are enough for me Y/n."
"I think there will be times when I need to be alone, but most of the time I just really want to be with you. I need to work on accepting that I deserve your love and comfort so I actually seek it out when I need it or want it. Some reassurance every now and then will help I think. Can we talk about the next steps tomorrow? I just want you to hold me right now."
"I will give you all the reassurance you need and more. Have you eaten today?" Ingrid asked, but the look in her eyes told you she knew the answer so you just shook your head. "Okay, I'm going to order some food while we cuddle here then we can go to bed."
True to her word, Ingrid held you tightly while you lay on the couch, staying close to your side during dinner and as you got ready for bed. "Thank you, for everything you've done, for being here, for loving me."
Ingrid kissed you softly, before pulling away and leaving soft kisses over your face, "Always."
Lying in bed later that night, head resting against Ingrid's chest, you decided to admit the one thing that kept swirling around your mind, "I think I need to take a break from football. Not the training, I think that helps me, but games. The pressure that comes from each game feels like weight being added. Makes me feel like I'm being dragged further down into this hole."
"Okay, if that's what you feel you need then we can talk to the coaches or Ale and she can sort it out. I know the thought of telling anyone else what is going on is scary, but Ale or anyone else on the team aren't going to judge you or think any less of you because of it."
"I think maybe we can talk to Alexia, not tell her everything, but the jist of it."
"I'll be by your side when you're ready." ---
It had been a few weeks since the talk with Ingrid and since you made the decision to stop playing in games for a while. The only person who knew why was Alexia, it was clear that everyone else was worried, but until now you hadn't felt ready to tell them and thankfully they didn't push.Â
There was still a long way to go, but things had been slowly getting better over the last few weeks. You had started seeing the team therapist multiple times a week and had restarted medication for the time being at least. Everything was starting to become clearer, you weren't as anxious all the time, you were becoming more willing to talk to Ingrid, to actually spend time with her without worrying about not being enough, and smiles and laughs were becoming more genuine when they did happened.Â
The team had been amazing despite not knowing what was going on, they were as supportive and loving as ever. So you decided it was time to let them in a little bit. You squeezed Ingrid's hand, getting her attention as you spoke quietly, "Can you get their attention please? I know they're worried about me and I think I'm ready to tell them."
"Hey! Can we have your attention for a minute."
Once everyone's attention was on you, the anxiousness started to creep in, but with Ingrid's hand still firmly holding yours, you took a deep breath and spoke, "I know you've all be wondering why I've effectively benched my self the last couple of weeks and I want to be honest about it. I've uh I've been um struggling a lot mentally at the moment and I decided I needed a break. The pressure was too much, I couldn't handle it on top of everything else. So uh yeah, I don't want you guys to keep worrying about me."
It was quiet for a few seconds before many arms wrapped themselves around you, mumbled we love you's and we're proud of you's were heard as you sunk into the arms of your teammates. Surprisingly, Mapi was the first to pull away, cupping your cheeks as she spoke uncharacteristically softly, "You keep doing what you're doing and come back to us when you're ready. You always have is in your corner Y/n. We are so proud of you and we love you. If there's anything you ever need you can come to us okay?"
"Thank you Mapi. Thanks all of you." --- A few months had passed and you were finally feeling like yourself again. There were still hard days, you were pretty sure there always would be, but you were genuinely happy again most of the time. You found yourself more willing to open up to not just Ingrid, but some of the other girls you were closest to. It was safe to say your life was pretty well back on track, there was just one thing left to do and that was get back to football. You hadn't told anyone of your plans to start playing games again, you had just been put in the line up as a sub, but after conversations with the coaching staff you knew you were likely to come in at half time.Â
When the line up came out, Alexia was the first to notice and speak up effectively getting everyone else's attention, "Y/n?"
"Yes Ale?"
"Is there anything you want to tell us?"
Ingrid looked at you confused as you shrugged trying to be as innocent as possible while knowing exactly what she was talking about. "Oh really? Well how about the small fact that your name is on the substitute list again?"
"Oh yeah. That is a thing I guess."
Smiles grew on everyone's faces as it clicked what was happening. Ingrid practically jumped on you repeating over and over how proud she was, kisses placed over your faces. The team joined not long after, everyone cheered and congratulated you.Â
"Okay okay, you can let go of me now. Yes I finally feel ready to come back."
Once everyone had let you go, Alexia pulled you up into a hug. Since she found out about your struggles, Alexia had been amazing. She was always subtly checking in whether you were at training or not, she would pull you away when everything got too overwhelming and Ingrid was busy, making some excuse so know one else would know the truth. Alexia was always just there in a way that was subtle and comforting. "Well we're so so glad you're back. I'm so proud of you Y/n."
"Thank you Ale, for everything."
As soon as your foot hit the pitch, you felt the excitement, adrenaline and happiness that you thought may have been gone for good. You felt yourself falling in love with football all over again, it was like the final weight had fallen from your shoulders. There would always be bad days or even bad weeks, you knew that, but with Ingrid, your family and your new found coping mechanisms, you finally felt ready to face them.Â
---
You arms wrapped around Ingrid as she chopped the vegetables, she briefly turned to kiss your cheek before going back to her task. "Hi Elskling, you played really well today. How did it feel?"
"Hey love. It felt incredible, I know I needed a break, but man did I miss it. Anyway, enough about me I have a surprise for you. I was originally going to give it to you after dinner, but I can't wait anymore. Here." You replied, placing an envelope on the counter in front of her. You could never express how thankful you were for everything Ingrid had done for you over the last few months, for sticking by your side through everything. So instead you had decided to start with a few days away in Venice. It was something she had wanted to do for a while and you decided to make it happen.
Ingrid looked at you for a second before opening the envelope, a smile appearing as she looked at the tickets inside. "What's this?"Â
"I know what you're going to say to this, but I am so thankful for everything you've done for me. Sure we've spent a lot of time together, but it hasn't been the quality, good time you deserve. So you and I are going to spend a few days alone in Venice in a couple of weeks when we have a bit of time off. Now I don't want to hear any buts or I didn't have to do this, just say you're excited and give me a kiss."
Ingrid cupped your cheeks, allowing you to press her against the counter as she pulled you in for a lingering kiss. Just as Ingrid went to pull away, you cupped the back of her neck pulling her back in as the kiss grew heated. You didn't want to say that you stopped enjoying Ingrid's kisses because that's impossible, it was just intimacy beyond cuddling between the two of you had dropped off to almost nothing the last few months. There were still short kisses here and there, but you couldn't get out of your head long enough to actually be present for anything more and that wasn't fair to Ingrid. Your lips moved along her jaw as a quite moan slipped past Ingrid's lips.
"Di-dinner," Ingrid moaned as your hand slipped under her shirt.Â
Ingrid's legs wrapped around your waist as you walked back to the bedroom, "Dinner can wait."

Could you write something where Alexia is obsessed with the reader boobs please
Movie night | Alexia Putellas x reader
I wrote this few days ago and I find now the time to post itđ« . I don't know if you wanted a more smut work, but the result was something really fluff and cute; I don't know why but it came out so sweet, even though the initial idea was something more sexual. Maybe it's because of all the tweets and TikToks that make me watch thousand times the interview she did for the top 11 and I keep hearing 'thank you' and 'Are you a Manchester City fan', which make her seem so cute; or maybe because I'm feeling so single ahah.
Anyway, I'm sorry if you wanted something more smut and less cute, and thank you for the request!
Do not copy, translate or claim my works and fics as your own; if I find out I will report them and block you. Instead, write to me, my directs are always open, and ask me if you can publish your work/fic inspired by one of mine. However, you can reblog them!
I bite my lip trying to hold back a moan.
Ale's hands on my breasts, her fingers caressing and playing with my nipples.
It had all started very innocently.
Since this morning Ale had been very clingy, very physical.
As soon as the alarm went off she pulled me tighter into her embrace, her hands squeezing my chest, muttering jokingly about how 'I don't love her enough' as I wanted to get up, then kissing my neck just below my hairline every time I stayed a few minutes longer in bed with her.
After almost being arrived late at the training, she tried to be paired with me during both the gym and athletic training, finding every time an excuse to touch me.
Her hands had always been on my thigh, arm or hand at lunch.
It was as if she had an extreme need for physical contact, to touch me, but not necessarily sexually.
On the way home we stopped at the restaurant near our house, my favorite Chinese restaurant, and Ale took there our takeaway dinner that she had ordered while she was waiting for me at the end of the second training session. She composed it with my favorite dishes.
We went into our apartment and had dinner on the sofa laughing in front of a stupid American talk show (even though she seemed to understand one word in ten and only laughed when I laughed).
Once we ended our dinner, Ale asked me to watch a film, one of my favorite dark academia films, and I agreed; so, she helped me to clean the table in front of the sofa and the dishes and we lay down on the sofa.
After a few minutes from the start, she lay between my legs, her head on my chest and her hands at her sides. The position itself wasn't uncomfortable, my back was resting against the couch and my head was on a pillow turned towards the television, my hands caressing her back.
I felt her body relax second by second, the tension from the training slowly flowing out of her body. Every now and then she let out a few moans or gasps, but nothing overly sexual.
About a quarter of the way through the movie, she had moved a little lower, her navel touching my inner thigh, her right temple against my sternum; her hands had started to caress my torso under my shirt, to lightly scratch my hips.
The contact had given me shivers, her cold fingers tracing light circles with her nails.
âI thought you wanted to see the movie amor,â I say, chuckling.
She moans into my chest, her hands gripping the edges of my shirt.
I lift her torso, allowing her to push it over my breasts, braless.
Ale she starts kissing my skin, leaving endless little kisses on my boobs, she draws wet paths that connect one nipple to the other.
Her fingers squeeze my breast in a light grip, playing with my nipples.
"What happened Ale? - she looks at me confused - You are so physical"
"Since when I can be more physical with you? - she asks smiling - I love your boobs so much amor" she says assorted while she squeezes them with her hands.
I gasp, seeking contact with her, and grip her hair between my fingers.
My neck arches back when she bites my right nipple.
She grins against my sternum.
She runs her nipples between her fingers.
"Your boobs are so sensitive - she gasps and then kisses a nipple - That's one of the reasons why I love them⊠I just need to touch your nipples and you're soaked for me" she whispers absorbedly while she kisses them.
"Only for you, amor - I moan - only for you"
Ale smiles satisfied.
She bends down and kisses a patch of skin just below her nipple. She sucks it, leaving a clear purple mark on me, releasing it with a dull sound.
"When you're really horny you can have an orgasm just by me playing with your nipples - she bites my right one, passing it between her teeth and making me moan- It's never happened to me before, but it's so⊠so-"
I gasp when her fingers squeeze a nipple tighter, too tight.
My hand shoots out and grabs her wrist, not knowing if I want to stop her or ask her to do it again. Ale bends down to kiss the fingers surrounding her wrist, leaving small sweet kisses on my skin while she whispers to me that she's sorry.
I arch my back towards her asking her to touch me, to keep touching me.
âThey're so soft â she whispers as she leaves a hickey on my other tit â and just the right size for my hands.â
I bite her lip looking at her.
She raises an eyebrow.
"Are you saying they are big? - She looks at me confused - Alexia, I've never had a girlfriend with bigger hands and longer fingers than yours"
She opens her mouth wide in offense, her eyebrows raised dangerously, while the sides of her mouth turn up in a smile.
Then, suddenly, she lowers herself towards my breast, biting it.
I groan in surprise.
It's not a painful bite, but it will leave a mark.
She smiles satisfied as she watches it.
"Looking at how you ask me to fuck you with my long fingers I wouldn't say it bothers you" she replies in a mock offended tone.
The tongue touching the edges of the bite.
I turn my head towards the couch, trying to avoid her gaze, my embarrassment clear from the color of my cheeks.
"AleâŠ" I gasp, not knowing exactly what he wants.
"Keep watching the movie, amor" she tells me, her voice betraying a trace of excitement, before resting her head on my sternum.
Her hand continues to play with my breast, the one towards the television, playing with the nipple, running it between his fingers, pulling it towards her.

Hiii can I please have a profiteroles with a side of Martini and juice served by Charles Leclerc
bakery menu
want to order something? check out the menu! there are all kinds of things on it for your liking! these delicious items are waiting for you! if you want to submit for an order outside of formula one, please do! as for this, i feel so bad that i haven't written enough charles! charles is who got me into f1 originally, so to not write him a lot feels so weird! (the verstappen brain rot is real)! as for this, i love a good mafia au.
profiteroles ("come away with me. for a week, together. anywhere you want, we'll go.") + martini (mafia au) + juice (cockwarming) served by charles leclerc (formula one)!
cw: smut/pwp, mafia au, mafia boss!charles, cockwarming, clingy!charles, breast play/worship, college student!reader, devoted!charles
you often found those mafia romance novels that were sold in the grocery stores rather amusing. the cheesy covers and titles, the dumb plots and the over exaggeration of characters. it was all very.. funny.
mostly because you had nabbed yourself your own mafia lover. and while he was one of the most dangerous men in monaco. around you he was a huge suck-up.
while in public he was smiles and a sharp eye. behind the scenes he was vicious and scary. but, when it was just the two of you alone in the mansion you called home. charles leclerc, was mafia prince of monaco, wanted nothing more than to feel the soft flesh of his lover between his calloused hands.
and love you like the precious gem you were.
he had come from a week in the netherlands. it was always nice to see his long time friend, you knew business was talked about, but you tried not to pry too deeply. charles tried to keep your name and face out of that line of work, the last thing he needed was his princess to have a price of her head.
for all everyone knew, you were a simple university student in one of the most beautiful places on earth. he had arrived home and beckoned for you to join him in the shower.
you kissed his bronzed skin, you chuckled when he returned the kisses. even brushing his lips across each of your fingers like a quiet worship.
he noticed the bandage on your finger and held your hand up to you. he tilted his head to the side like a puppy as he asked, "what's this, what happened?" his voice tinged with concern.
you chuckled, "i was chopping onions a few days ago and i nicked my finger. trust me, it was nothing serious. just keeping it covered to heal." you smiled at him.
he nodded and kissed your fingers, "you have to be careful, mon amor. i can't have you getting hurt when i'm not here." he kissed the bandage softly.
once your shower was done, you helped dry him off before you took him to the bed to get comfortable. you were both naked and curled up in bed together. you chose a movie to put on in the background while you became reacquainted with his body and him with yours.
you pressed your palm against his and noticed the difference in your hand sizes, "what was holland like, it's been so long since i've been there."
he chuckled, "same old, same old, mon amor. max had asked about you, he always asks about you. i told him to back off, he cold have any woman he wanted. but you are mine."
you giggled, "he's probably saying it to get under your skin." while you flew under the radar most of the time, at least with forces that could hurt you. but close friends of the family knew of you. like max verstappen, a close ally of charles. as a result the dutchman knew to mess with charles he simply had to bring you up.
it was like the time he mailed you a nijntje plush and charles was almost on the next flight to utrecht to kick his ass. in reality you had asked max to do that for you because you wouldn't be able to get it in monaco. (charles just forgot).
your lover's hands roamed your body and his cock twitched between his legs. he said softly, "i need you. i've needed you all week. you were all i could think of." his jaw tensed, "you drive me mad, mon amor. you're all i ever want."
you got him seated upright against the headboard and you straddled his waist. with a little help you sank down on his cock, but you didn't ride him. instead you warmed his cock as you straddled him. it slipped in with ease and the feeling made him shudder.
he wrapped those strong arms around you and held you. you got comfortable against his chest and kissed at the side of his neck. he melted into your touch, loving the feeling of you around him.
"i thought about you every moment i was away." he dipped his head towards your chest, he peppered kisses along the soft flesh, "i wondered if you were eating, sleeping, if you were going to classes." he sighed.
"i know, my dear." you said as you held him close to your chest and combed your fingers through his dark hair, "you were constantly texting me. i'm sorry that i couldn't text you during my lecture, you know all about that professor."
he sighed, "i could kill him."
you pulled away further and wagged your finger at him, "don't you care, leclerc. he is one of the best professors in the region." and he whined, you let him press himself back to your chest.
you let out a small noise when he mouth captured your left nipple. his hands explored your bare back, yearning for the closeness. his cock was heavy inside of you and you played with his hair.
the movie played on in the background, the light from the television cascaded you in a soft glow. you rolled your hips a little to give him a bit of friction, which made a shiver run up his spine.
"i love you." he said.
"i love you too." you yanked on his hair a little bit and he moaned with your nipple in your mouth. he played with your breasts, cupping them in his hands.
oh lord, you were perfect. those beautiful eyes looked to you and you smiled down at him. you leaned in and kissed his forehead. you rolled your hips a little more and let the feeling wash over both of you.
to just be so softly intimate felt nice, after time apart from one another. to feel close to your mafia boyfriend, felt good. he left a few marks across your soft breasts which only made you clench around his cock.
"you're my whole world, mon amor. to the ends of the earth, i love you."
"and i love you, charles." it wasn't the easiest thing being in love with someone so powerful. but the way he looked at you, the way he wore his heart on his sleeve for you. all the risks seemed to fade away, you loved him and he loved you.
you two continued to kiss once more, you knew that he was getting hot all over. his skin felt electric as you pressed your hands on his chest. you could feel his racing heartbeat as the two of you made out.
he looked up at you as you held his face, you rubbed the scar on his cheek, you could see the hearts in his eyes. "my world." he said.
"my universe."
he chuckled, "you always have to one-up me, huh?" he kissed your neck softly as felt the shudder of pleasure through his body. he knew he was close, he held onto you while the movie played and softly thrusted up into you. he couldn't handle it anymore. he kissed at your collarbones and groaned against your warm skin.
"i love you."
"and i love you more, forever. you are mine until the sun swallows the earth whole." he promised. he just wanted to be smothered by you, to hold onto you tightly. to love you with all of his heart.
he was in heaven, heaven was you. you were the angel that whatever god sent down to him. and he'd worship the ground you walked on until the ends of the earth. you were his soul, his beating heart.
not even the mafia lifestyle could pull the love he had for you out of him. you were the reason why he never got cold.
he shuddered as orgasm took over. then it ended with you on your back and him looming over you. those eyes of his transfixed you as he panted heavily. he pulled you in for a kiss, "i love feeling close to you." he said quietly. he looked down at you, his cock still buried in your at the hilt, the movie droned in the background. he kissed your jaw, "come away with me. for a week, together. anywhere you want, we'll go."
you smiled at him and draped your arms around him. you yearned for your own orgasm, you leaned up and kissed him on the lips, "i'd like to go back home."
"home? i thought i was your home." he pressed himself against you, his mind clearing up from the orgasm.
"i mean my childhood home." you played with his hair, "you've shown me your world, now i want to show you mine. it might not be as extravagant as monaco, but.... i want to make memories with you there."
he perked up at the thought. you wanted to show him your life. the life you had before you met. he broke out into a grin and wrapped his strong arms around you. he kissed at you face and said, "of course. i would love to meet your family, see your home. thank you! thank you!"
you smiled and kissed him once more. even with his cock still snugly inside of you. it was cute to see him light up. you've seen the headlines and his face in the paper. you've seen what he's capable of. but when he was with you, he was nothing more than a sweet puppy.
you kissed him once more before you shifted and asked, "now why don't you make me cum before we start to make plans, handsome?" you giggled as you pulled him in for a kiss once more.
those romance novels were silly, because if they were writing mafia bosses the way that your beloved charles was, the stories would be a lot less steamy and a lot more clingy. <3

OKAY! i have another one!! so hear me out. iâve been really into alice in wonderland and.. what about like. a cheshire cat! reader? like they have their own subliminal space to enter and can do so with some of their body or their whole body and has cat like fangs, ears, tail. whose mischievous and stuff!! sorry thats a rant!!
or like a white rabbit! whose sweet and caring! and has rabbit ears and a rabbit tail and their quirk is to warp time??
Oh dear, I knew never watching Alice in Wonderland was going to bite me in the butt someday.
I'll still try and fulfill your request though! I can only do the white rabbit one though since I have a pretty good idea for how to write them. It'll be a bit long though to make up for not being able to write the cheshire cat reader. This took a while to publish since I had like 2-3 ideas for what to write but I hope the end result is good enough.
As always thank you for requesting!
Alice in Wonderland White Rabbit Reader x Bakugou
⥠Genre: Fluff, little suggestive, little crack ⥠Pairing: Bakugou x White Rabbit!Reader ⥠Tags: Alice in Wonderland inspiration
Your Quirk allowed you to summon telekinetic shields, all of which had the appearance of a watch and functioned like real time clocks. You could defend yourself with the shields or telekinetically spin the shields to go back in time by a few minutes. Because you were born with such a useful power, you knew you had to be a Pro Hero to use time travel for the sake of the greater good.
You often helped out your classmates on the field, including Bakugou Katsuki. You two were total opposites. Due to the nature of your Quirk, you were incredibly patient and cautious, always paying attention to the slight differences in the timeline each time you changed things. Bakugou was neither of those things, and always got into trouble. You often had to warn him of problems oncoming in the near future.
Despite your differences (or maybe because of them), you two quickly grew closer than any other duo in your class. You relied on each other heavily not just due to your Quirks, but also your complementary personalities. Just this afternoon, you had to save Bakugou from his impending demise.
"Bakugou!" you cried, hurrying to him as he sat on the dorm's living room couch. "Kaminari's gonna burst in through the entrance doors with a homemade confetti gun and he's gonna blast you in the face. We need to run!"
Bakugou set down the magazine he was reading on the coffee table. "I'm gonna kill him."
"No, please don't! We need to run!"
"I'll kill him and then neither of us will have to run! I'm saving us a jog!"
"No, you don't understand, he'll--"
"Bakugouuuu!" Kaminari yelled, bursting onto the scene. "Where are yoouuuuu?"
"You're dead, Dunce Face!"
"What the--who snitched on me to Bakugou? Agh!" Kaminari narrowly dodged an explosion by Bakugou. "Hasta la vista, Bakugou!"
You ducked behind the couch. Bakugou received a full confetti blast to the face. You sighed and summoned your time shields. You rewound time back to when Bakugou sat on the couch.
"Bakugou!" you cried, popping up behind the couch.
"AH! Fuck, shit, why the hell are you back there?"
You hurried around the couch. "Maybe because you didn't listen to me when I warned you the first time!"
He looked confused. "Is this something future me did?"
"Yes. Kaminari's about to come through the entrance with a confetti gun and we really, really need to run."
Bakugou set down the magazine he was reading on the coffee table. "I'm gonna kill him."
Bakugou stood up but you placed a hand on his chest, pushing him back. "Please, I've already seen you get blasted with confetti more than I've ever hoped to see in one lifetime. Just run."
"But I--"
"Bakugouuuu!" Kaminari yelled, bursting onto the scene. "Where are yoouuuuu?"
You grabbed Bakugou's wrist and summoned your time shields, spinning them and sending you both back into time. Kaminari walked backwards out of the entranceway as you returned to the past.
"I probably should've done that in the first place..." you said.
"I could've taken him!" Bakugou yelled.
You groaned and dragged Bakugou away from his impending doom. He kept protesting but didn't leave your grasp. He knew if he left your grasp, you'd just rewind time and stop him all over again.
You hurried over to the nearest small closet and shoved Bakugou inside the cramped space, shutting the door behind you two. The closet was only filled with a few random items people left behind, such as an unused deck of playing cards, a large dresser somebody left there long ago, and other unrelated things. You barricaded the door with the dresser. You knew your classmates wouldn't destroy school property just for a joke, so there was no way they'd be physically busting that door down if they couldn't open it normally.
"Why the fuck can't we just hide in one of our rooms?" Bakugou asked, leaning against a wall. The closet was small enough that he was still within arm's distance of you.
"Because that was one of the first places they looked in a previous timeline," you said matter-of-factly. "And Kaminari's not the only one searching for you with a homemade confetti gun."
"Our classmates are such nutjobs."
"Yes, but they're still our friends!" You lightly tapped Bakugou on the nose.
"You mean your friends." He tapped you back on the nose, somewhat more vengefully. "If I had it my way, our problems would've been buried six feet under ages ago."
"Well they're not, and now we're stuck in a closet." You rapped your knuckles on the closet walls. "There's not a lot of safe hiding spots, so let's just wait here until they pick another target and/or run out of confetti. I'm pretty sure they're gonna start blasting each other. I overheard them suggesting that in a different timeline and they were getting a teensy bit antsy until they found you."
Bakugou scoffed. "See? This is why I don't wanna call these nutjobs 'friends'!"
"But we eat lunch with them almost everyday..."
"I'm only there because you're there."
"Lies."
"Not lies. I never lie."
You both stood there, staring each other down suspiciously. You simultaneously both broke into grins.
Bakugou laid his head against the closet wall. "I'm being honest, you know that?"
You rubbed you arms, a little shy due to his earnestness. "You don't have to follow me around everywhere, you big dork..." You lightly punched him in the shoulder.
"You're the one that yanked me into a closet."
"I just want to protect you!" you said. "You know I don't like seeing people get hurt."
"I know I've told you this a million times, but stop worrying about me, okay?" He stopped leaning against the closet wall and got a little closer, which was easy since the space was so cramped. "You're always running yourself ragged for me."
"Only because I know you'd do the same." You beamed at him.
"Yeah... why do you think that is?"
"Huh?"
"...Nevermind. Shit, if we're gonna be in here for a while we need something to pass the damn time. My phone's almost dead."
"Mine too," you whined. "Let's sit down, I'm tired."
You both slid into a sitting position, your legs in-between Bakugou's.
"Since we got all the time in the world, quite literally with my time powers, I kiiiinda wanna style your hair!"
"What the fuck? No!"
"Pleeeease?" Your hands ran through the fluffy spiky locks before you. His eyes peered up at you, surprisingly innocent and curious as to what you would do to him. "I think you'd look really cute with a braid. I've been reading some fashion blogs and it'd look super trendy!"
"It'd look bad. Don't wanna. I'd rather do your hair." His hand curled behind your head, pulling you forward to him. "Yours is softer." He looked at you, cocky and teasing.
Sometimes Bakugou did things like this that really made you question the true nature of your friendship. You were the only person to seemingly see Bakugou's... flirty side? Was this flirting? You couldn't tell with him. You didn't know if he was being serious or not, given that he's never dated before you had no point of reference on how he would react in a situation like that. So this couldn't be flirting. Yeah, that's it.
But the way Bakugou was looking at you, all smug yet simultaneously a little flushed and nervous, made you doubt that thought. Just a little.
"Well?" Bakugou asked, his voice low. His hand was still in your hair, his head was still so close to yours. "What do you wanna do?"
You knew what you wanted to do. You've wanted to kiss your best friend for the longest time. But one thing you would never do was kiss and rewind. You couldn't live comfortably knowing that you got intimate with someone, but they just forgot. It felt wrong to mess with their memory like that. So you had never kissed Bakugou before.
You couldn't tell him that, you couldn't risk your friendship. Shyly, your hands exited his hair as you brought them back close to your chest. "Um... I don't know... I'm fine with anything you want, I guess?"
"But I was asking you, dummy!" He exhaled through his nose, his hand leaving your hair. "Again, I'm serious here. You're always thinking about what I want to do, what's best for me. But what do you want to do with your life? I won't judge you for your answer, if that's what you're thinking."
"Um..." You bit your lip, wanting to look anywhere but at Bakugou but there was really nothing to look at in this small closet space. "Well, if you really insist... I kinda wanted to kiss you."
"W-w hat?!" His face heated up.
"Like, everywhere. It's 'cause you've never had your first kiss before, so I wanted to see your reaction to a million different kisses with my time powers. But I know that's not cool, so I've never done it. I didn't want to bother you or ruin our friendship..."
"Try me."
"What?!"
"You heard me!" Bakugou started sweating a little but nonetheless, he wasn't backing down. "Do you damn thing. It's not like I'm gonna remember it."
"Bakugou, that's not exactly moral."
"It's moral if I'm telling you I'll allow it. I trust you and I wanna see what timeline we end up with."
If he was giving you the go-ahead, then you assumed this was okay...
"I'll be gentle at first, alright? I would never wanna hurt you..."
He looked a little frustrated, as if you weren't understanding something.
"...You won't."
You cupped his face and his eyes widened slightly. You wanted to give him his first kiss (it's been your dream for a while), but you'd rather dip your toes into the water than dive deep head first. So you leaned up and kissed him on the nose.
Bakugou perked his head up. "What?! I thought you--don't chicken out!"
"I'm not chickening out, I'm just testing the waters..."
"On the nose isn't the same! You gotta--"
You rewound time to before he started complaining. You returned to your new present time, giggling a little.
"...The hell?" he asked, still sitting in front of you awaiting his first kiss. "...Were you gentle?"
"No," you said, evilly. "You almost died of a heart attack from how good a kisser I was and I had to rewind to a point where you didn't die."
Bakugou cocked his head, looking at you deadpan. "Now why don't I believe you?"
You snapped forward and kissed his cute vulnerable forehead. He gasped.
"You'll believe me eventually!" you said, acting coy.
"You little--"
You rewound time to a point where he didn't want to retaliate against your sudden sweet kiss.
"Wha--you look too damn happy!" Bakugou said, pointing at you accusingly. "What the fuck did you do?"
"Bakugou, you told me it was your first time kissing..." you said, hands on your face looking shy as you turned away from him. "You didn't have to go that far..."
"What the fuck are you on about? I don't even remember what you're referencing! Just... what... what did we do?"
He looked genuinely anxious and you wanted to burst out into laughter because you literally did almost nothing besides a few kisses, but he didn't know that.
"Something like this," you said.
You cupped his face again and pulled his head forward, kissing him on the lips. You started soft, wanting your kiss to be something he could safely fall into. But he quickly bit your lip and pushed himself in, not settling for anything safe. The sensation was much better than whatever you'd daydreamed about, especially knowing that he wanted this, that this was real, and that his lips kept asking yours for more.
Bakugou moved much more eagerly and desperately than you. What he lacked in experience, he made up for by going all-in, all the time. He just wanted everything, all of you, all at once. But you were more focused on taking everything slow to make sure he enjoyed every second of your lips as much as possible. Your fingers dug through his hair, while one of his hands snaked around your waist to pull you further into his lap and your mind couldn't help but agree with all of it.
You broke the kiss and you both breathed heavily in each other's faces. Bakugou looked so incredibly vulnerable and exposed in the dim closet lighting, his mouth slightly open in surprise.
"Do you wanna settle on that timeline?" you asked.
"No." His mouth quickly morphed into smirk. "Keep going. I wanna see how far this rabbit hole goes. How many times you'll kiss me and still come back for more."
With his permission, you rewound time again to the same spot as usual, right after the point where Bakugou gave you the approval you needed for this idea. Once you emerged, Bakugou gave an undignified yelp.
His back instinctively hit the closet wall. "Shit! The fuck are you doing in my lap?" He eyed you up and down.
You curled up into a ball, still between his legs. "You pulled me here! It's your fault!"
"I did?" He looked so genuinely confused, it was so cute. But then he soon returned to his arrogant self. "Oh, I see. Of course you must've let me drag you in. You really are--"
You shut him up with your lips. He gasped in your mouth, frozen in place from the shock. But as your hands crawled up his neck, he sunk further into your embrace as he realized what you were doing. Then he pushed back, turning this kiss competitive. You just wanted him to stop mouthing off all the time, but he wanted to show he wasn't easily gonna surrender this moment, not when you were finally giving him the attention he so desperately craved. Bakugou kissed you with much more force than you ever gave him, his hands greedy with you knowing he was able to hold you after waiting so, so long. You broke through his waves of passion by biting his lip lightly to catch him off guard and slowing him down.
Your hands slowly danced around the collar of his shirt, feeling his rapid heart beat before you tugged him towards you. Now your sweeter lips could find better purchase upon his rougher ones. His lips mixed somewhat clumsily with yours, his technique suffering from the intensity of his nervousness and passion. His body felt like a jumbled bundle of nerves against your own. But his kisses oozed his personality, all the good and the bad, that you just couldn't help but want more of him, no matter what he gave you.
This kiss was longer, allowing you both to get your fill before you separated, both gasping for air.
"I think that was the best one so far," you said.
"Knowing you, you're only saying that 'cause you haven't tried anything else."
He got you there. The day had barely begun.
"I see that look on your face," he said, tapping your forehead which was so close to his. "I'm betting I'm right. You wouldn't look so shy in my arms right now if you've kissed me a lot more. But you're clearly not as shy as before..."
"Stop reading my mind, Bakugou, that's not supposed to be your Quirk!" You pouted at him, crossing your arms.
"Then rewind so you don't gotta hear me speak!"
"Well... I don't really want to. Maybe I want you to remember this. Maybe I don't want to be the only one who knows what these kisses were like... It's not what I thought it would be. Rewinding to catch your first kiss isn't as fun as making sure you share all the memories I have." Your hand ran through his spikes. His expression was so tender when you touched him. "So I really want you to remember this next part, okay?"
He stared at you. He nodded.
You slowly drew upon him, backing him against the wall as you leaned forward to kiss him. You felt his body automatically stiffen before you met each other half-way. His hands remained on your hips, copying your careful pace as you drank his lips in, savoring his sensations and showing him how much you wanted every memory you made with him.
Instead of fighting you or teasing you, he followed your lead, letting your mouth move upon his however you wanted it to. He let you take control of him. Bakugou bit your lip, just as you did to him earlier, giving the kiss a little more spice. As your hands dipped around his neck, his hands mirrored yours around your waist. He didn't rush through the kiss this time, didn't rush to see everything you had to offer as soon as possible like he was so starved for your affection. Now he wanted to do whatever you were doing, and to be with you wherever you were going.
His strong arms tightly pulled you against him as you continued your slow-motion makeout session. You wanted to relive this moment seconds after it started, but you didn't dare use your time powers so he wouldn't forget.
You finally let him breathe again, your foreheads still touching even though you parted. He gazed down upon you, lovingly.
"You gotta be my girlfriend after this," he said, voice quiet. "...Please? You can't tell me that meant nothing."
"Yes..." you said, and he served you the cutest smile you'd ever seen. "I wanna be with you, always. Just like we are now."
"Of fucking course." He laughed a little out of relief as he pecked your jaw a few times. You knew he'd never kissed anyone anywhere before, but damn was he a fast learner when he was copying you. He also couldn't help but give you one last hug, squeezing you like a stuffed animal.
He finally released you from the hug, his hands still clung to your body. "I'll always be with ya. Never wanted anything more. Jeez, I've been waiting for you to say that since forever."
You pecked him on the nose. "Guess I was just a little late. But you've probably been waiting as long as I have for you." He grinned warmly at you for that comment.
"Can we spend the afternoon hiding in here?" you asked. "I kind of don't want to leave... Not while they're still out there."
"I still think I could take 'em," Bakugou said.
"No offense, but from what I've seen I know you definitely can't take them. I'm saving you by keeping you in here." You poked his chest.
He looked exasperated with the suggestion. "Saving me, huh?" He pecked you on the forehead. "Well fine! I didn't wanna leave this spot anyways." He gave your hips a few appreciative pats. "I'll stay wherever you are. You're the only one I'd let boss me around like this, got it? I still trust ya so much."
"Gotcha! Here, hold onto me. I wanna rewind so we'll have more time together..."
You squeezed Bakugou's hand as you summoned your time shields again, rewinding further back.
However, you didn't notice that you had rewound time too far, moving the dresser back to its original position.
It wasn't until several minutes later that you realized your mistake. You and Bakugou made just a bit too much noise, leading to Kaminari opening the closet door.
"Hasta la vista, Bakugou!"
And you both were shot with confetti, full blast.
(Fun fact: The reader's Quirk was partially based off of a certain characters' time powers from Puella Magi Madoka Magica as well as the White Rabbit's watch, so it might seem familiar to some)
