Decided to share my Cramp Twins Next Gen AU :D

This Is Lake! She is Luciens' daughter and oldest child. Around the age of 8, her parents got divorced, and Lucien gained full custody of Lake and her two younger brothers. She loves the Swamp and all the animals that live in it.

Here Is Lucien In this AU! In the AU, Lucien is an 8th grade science teacher. His divorced wife is some random woman he met during college. After he got divorced, he and his kids moved in with his good friend Tony Parsons. The two later started dating and got married soon after.

Here is Tony in this AU! He mainly stays home and takes care of the swamp. He and Lake are very close. The two spend a lot of time in the swamp together. He is the main reason why Lake loves the swamp so much.

These are Lakes younger brothers! Their names are Troy and Timothy. Troy annoys Lake a lot, and the two don't really get a long well. While Timothy admires Lake and looks up to her a lot. Troy is 11, while Timothy is 6.

Our story begins when Lake is 14 and entering 8th grade. This means that Lucien will be her science teacher, and Lake finds that to be the most embarrassing thing in the whole world. Each student in the science class is assigned a lab partner. Lakes lab partner is a girl named Willow.

Willow is a 14 year old goth girl who loves poetry and ravens. After bonding with each other during lunch, they soon become close friends. This Causes them to want to start hanging out at each other's houses. However, what Lake doesn't know is that Willow is actually her cousin. And that Willow is the daughter of Wayne Cramp, her uncle and her father's distant brother.

[Note: I haven't figured out who Willows mom is yet. I think her mom would be present in Willows' life and live with Willow and Wayne. Conflicted with making Willows mom either a random woman or Joanne]

Other Characters:

Molly - She's Mari's daughter and Lakes' best friend since kindergarten. I'd say that she's pretty optimistic. She's 13 years old.

Kimberly and Kendall - Wendy's daughters. I'd imagine that Wendy would take over Hazchem after her father retires. Kimberly and Kendalls father is probably some random guy. Kimberly is 14, while Kendall is 10.

This is what I have so far :D. I haven't made all of the adult designs yet, but I'll post them when I finish them.

I'm new-ish to writing (i used to write fanfiction when i was like 13. i'm 19 now and write very rarely) but I really wanna do it again.

at 4am my mind randomly flashed to the insane amounts of condoms in the olympic village which of course made me go “oh, what if pit babe -” so here is an unhinged pit babe characters as summer olympic athletes from someone whose knowledge of the olympics is limited to their condom statistics:

kenta is a swimmer. Duh.

pete is his swim coach. pete used to be like michael phelps or something before retiring due to an injury but now he parades around in his lil windbreaker and people are still in awe of him. it is infuriating because kenta just wants to train and compete but it takes an hour to get across any room because his coach is basically swim jesus.

north is a diver. we have seen michael shirtless, okay. he needs to be in a tiny speedo, bouncing on a diving board and then doing like bazillion lil spins before a sploosh.

sonic would be the team physio guy because imagine him waving ice packs and athletic tape, scolding and mothering people with the same level of exasperation as in the show.

way just looks like a pole vaulter. he would lope like a gazelle and then punt himself into the air only to then fall onto the mattress and be all spread out watching as the bar wobbles, then settles, before smiling. he is totally one of the most indecently giffed athletes in the games just because of this.

dean runs track. not the short sprints but like 400m or those relay race things. he just has the cheekbones and the air of a nervous whippet who runs in circles and then comes to you like “DID I DO GOOD?????”

babe and charlie? gymnasts. like babe is the golden boy of the sport and charlie the hot newcomer whose first olympics these are.

alan and jeff are the gymnastic coaches. alan would be like “babe, you need more speed and then you’ll have to - *interpretative dance arms demonstrating what the grip on the parallel bars should look like*” and jeff would follow it with a “what he means is you need more air which means you’ll have to increase your starting speed by at least 20%.”

i mean this means winner is a gymnast as well but like one that is very aware of the fact he only qualified because the person before him broke an arm the week before. his specialty is the rings which is very impressive but he's bitter since babe gets all the sponsors because he flies through the air like a beautiful swan and, unfortunately, in every photo ever taken of winner he just looks like he’s about to shit his pants.

and kim? you might think it’d make sense he’d also be in the gymnast team but let's for a second picture this: KIM AS AN EQUESTRIAN. like tell me he doesn’t lowkey have the aura of a neurotic horse girl? imagine the cream pants and shiny boots. imagine kim having a huge ass horse named cupcake that sonic keeps calling “a pony!” with sparkling eyes.

On the way to her best friend Brynnie Bratton's birthday party, Maddy gets into a severe car wreck. Her mom was saved by The Ancient One but, however, the car kept tumbling until it got into the midstrip on the highway and then, Maddy was upside down. She had lost all feeling in both of her hands. Three heroes arrived on the scene. Tony Stark/Iron Man, Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Doctor Strange. All three work together on taking apart the car so that they could reach the unconscious girl. Tony and Peter realize that Doctor Strange really cares about Maddy so, they decide to step aside and let the Sorcerer Supreme work on getting his future wife free. After he got her from the almost totaled car, the Sorcerer Supreme then goes about his plan. Whatever he has planned for Maddy, it's huge!

I am stuck in the middle of my case fic (i WILL finish it)

So in the meantime I am listing all the ideas for the NEXT fics I could write.

- Season 7 episode 'trapped' but just the amnesia plot. And it happens to the og team. And it's actually good. Willy still gets to rugby tackle someone.

- Some excuse for Rollin and Barney to end up handcuffed together on the run cross country. Like that Sidney Poitier/Tony curtis movie.

-Just the town but Dan is team leader instead of Phelps.

- Some play on that community episode where they all get trapped in a fake spaceship

- a western/cowboy story. (make the mark think they've travelled back in time?)

Anyone got any more ideas? Or opinions?

Like y’all they’re CHILDREN?? Like come ON why are you even concerned about seeing a professional performance?

Let these kids do a thing they enjoy they are MAKING ART. They are PLAYING. It’s not the gd Tony awards, it’s not the World Series. These are actual children who are doing a thing mostly for fun!!!

I remember my dad getting Into a fight with a baseball dad once because baseball dad was just LAYING into his kid, and yelling at the ref (who was also a kid) about bad calls and my dad just. Went over to him and went “DUDE. Shut up!!! They’re 14! No one gets a billion dollars if they win the game!” And this guy started to try and argue with my dad until he realized that like. Every other parent there was on my dad’s side and he just kinda silently fumed the rest of the game. And all I can think about is like.

How rough is that kids home life? Like at a certain point I think it’s insane what parents expect of their kids, like dance moms, and dads who act more like a coach than a father, parents who expect their children to be the Einstein of the new era…

Just fucking. Let them be kids. They don’t HAVE to be good at things. They’re KIDS. Like how many talents do adults really have? Occasionally someone is good at piano, or good at sport. But seriously most of us are *also pretty mediocre at most things.

Like it’s always “oh I USED to do that in high school” or “i played piano for a while as a kid” or “I remember when I was on the swim team” and then we grew up and that’s it.

Kids do activities because they’re engaging in play, and engaging in art, and engaging in developmental needs for their age. They aren’t trying to win awards or be the next Micheal Phelps, and they SHOULDNT be.

Let kids be kids. And support their kinda shitty stuff. It’s more for them than it is for you.

Going to see children and adolescents dance badly, play ball badly, sing badly, play recorder badly because they are young: YES! YOU ARE LEARNING! INCREDIBLE!

TRASHER magazine 100% agression

Le monde du skate et les exploits des skateurs sont fascinants et nous voulions faire une aparté sur ce magazine mythique, cette bible fondée par Kevin Thatcher, Eric Swenson et Fausto Vitello.  Elle raconte l'évolution du skate, la vie des skateurs et la culture underground, qui gravite avec la musique punk, ska, métal, le graphisme lowbrow et d'illustrateurs indépendants, les exploits, les vidéos amateurs, les marques, les concours et les compétitions depuis 1981.

Le thème Break the rules va parfaitement avec la culture du skate car déjà tu enfreins la loi quand tu fais du street et que tu ne vas pas au skatepark. La plupart des lieux publiques sont interdits aux planches. Tu fais peur aux mamies, la police te déteste, tu détériores le matériel public rampes, escaliers, tu bois dans la rue, tu vis en meute, tu fumes, tu as des tatouages, tu portes des marques qui revendiquent la liberté...Certains revendiquent le style de vie "straight edge"  associé à la musique punk hardcore dont les adhérents ne consomment ni alcool, ni tabac et autres drogues... sont aussi vegans.

C'est une sous culture underground qui tient dans le temps, qui évolue mais qui garde ses racines aux USA.

Bien sûr, chaque skateur a sa personnalité plus ou moins trash, plus ou moins lisse et c'est par la lecture du  magazine que tu apprends à mieux les connaître.

Le plus souvent choisis pour leurs performances et leurs sponsors, les interviews restent brutes et dévoilent leurs atouts, leurs figures, leurs spécialités.

Le skate c'est pour les têtes brulées dont les filles. Mais c'est aussi un sport qui tient pas en forme: tu te brises sur le pavé, tu tombes, tu te ramasses si tu aimes faire des figures. Mais c'est fun quand même! Les moment de relâchement sont cools, les rush videos des exploits vaillent la peine. Les skateurs se soutiennent  autour d'une bonne pinte en sortant de cessions, comptent leurs bleus. 

 La police utilisée "Banco" pour le logo fut inspirée d'un album de Bob Marley au style de vie caribéen et au reggae qui correspond bien aux fondateurs et aux styles des publications cools. 

Thrasher n'est pas qu'un magazine mais l'équipe de rédaction a su créer son propre contenu, propre au DIY, depuis le 1er numéro du magazine publié à San Francisco en 1981.

A l'intérieur de THRASHER Magazine, sont présentés des centaines de pro skateurs célèbres du monde entier tels que Tony Hawk, Bob Burnquist, Bam Margera (Jackass), Steve Caballero (Bones brigade) pour les plus anciens, Stacy Peralta, Tom Sims, Tony Alva, Laura Thornill (70's)  ainsi que Pascal Thomas et leurs équipes à travers des publicités et des articles, de la musique punk rock évidemment car la plupart des skateurs jouent de la musique dans des groupes de punk rock, c'est la Californie.

Les jeunes s'approprient dans le monde entier cet univers, cet état d'esprit, connaissent mieux les marques, les figures, la technique, deviennent fan de ... porte le logo signe d'appartenance.

Chaque année, THRASHER délivre son titre de « SKATER OF THE YEAR », sponsorisé par les divers annonceurs du magazine depuis 1990 avec TONY HAWK.

Jusqu’en 2009, fin du format dvd, l'équipe sortait une vhs par an depuis  1988. Le contenu en ligne maintenant est facile, abondant avec le numérique et la diffusion avec les réseaux sociaux même la façon de faire les vidéos sont allégées avec le matos numérique.

Chaque année depuis 2003, THRASHER organise également le « KING OF THE ROAD », une tournée challenge par équipes impliquant  quatre équipes composées de proskateurs de différents horizons reçoivent un livre d'épreuves et ont deux semaines pour sillonner le pays et atteindre autant d'objectifs que possible.

THRASHER possède également son propre skatepark indoor : « DOUBLE ROCK » où l'équipe invite des personnalités à venir rider, en concrétisant leurs venues en vidéo. en découvrir plus sur:

2 documentaires à voir pour comprendre le lâcher prise que transfigure le skate, une sensation de liberté et une révolution pour les jeunes ainsi qu'1 marque lyonnaise qu'on aime bien Antiz et qui fait des belles planches.
