I think Christmas can come early. Today Phoebe announced in her ig that she will travel to America and apparently one of the sisters had commented on a special trip they were having as a family. and coincidentally today Louis appears on tw. I hope it's just me seeing things that aren't because if it happens ☠️

Huh… look, I’m not even saying this proves he has no relationship with the kid, and doesn’t consider himself a grandfather to him, but what I’m saying is it’s extremely weird that Mark leans into the obvious implications of excluding the boy, knowing very well that Louis’ fandom is watching his Instagram with Eagle eyes.

If the strategy was to put every effort into validating the fatherhood narrative, why doesn’t Mark play along?

Honestly, this pisses me off so much.

I get that Daisy’s and Phoebe’s entire social media relevance stems from Louis’ fame. I get that they must use Louis’ name to spark engagement on their accounts in order to sell their endorsement deals. And I get that many of Louis’ fanbase look up to them because they relate to their age and find them beautiful.

But this isn’t the first time they pulled this shit using the kid. Conveniently often so when they got something to promote. They have been playing both sides for years. One would cater to Louies, one would cater to Larries. It’s so frustrating to see that it works so well for them too.

Personally, no matter where you stand with bbg, the shameless exploitation of this boy never sits right with me.

The twins have proven repeatedly that they couldn’t care less about how their ambiguous social media behavior regarding the kid will once again jumpstart the conversation around the credibility of Louis’ fatherhood and whether this boy is an actual family member. They only care to build their influencer brand.

Was just reading your tags, I love your "tomlishians" nickname both because it sounds like "chiant" in french which basically means annoying/irritating 😂 and because of how lucid you are on the situation. I often see louies praising louis' siblings just because they're his sisters and they feel the need to idolize everyone linked to louis especially his family and I don't get it. I mean I'm normally pretty neutral about louis' siblings in the sense that I dgaf about them. I'm here for louis, his music and him like his wit, his charisma, beautiful personnality (winkwink) ect. Still it can be hard to avoid them when they're constantly trying to use their brother's name or drama (aka bbg) for attention and it ends up all over your feed. And omg my annoyance about the Tomlinson sisters is probably very palpable. LOL. I have a lot of empathy for the personal losses they’ve endured so early on in their lives.

But they’re the epitome of nepotism. They’re very privileged, very wealthy, very pretty and have been milking Louis’ fandom for social media engagement for years. They’ve been using their tragedies and traumas, as well as Louis’, they love to wind up Larries and Louies about what the Californian boy is to them, possibly rock,paper,scissors-ing who of the twins can post THE Christmas pics on their IG first.

I can only assume a lot of Louies are still very very young and therefore closer to Phoebe’s and Daisy’s age than Louis’. Couldn’t be me. 😅

But that’s their deal. That’s what they always do. Their sole USP is playing with Louis’ image and his fans.

Recently, one twin sister posted a picture of a family tree in their house with a Christmas group picture with Freddie in it, and the other would post the same family tree but without it. They’re shameless and they don’t care if it‘ll make fans question what Freddie is to them. It’s the controversy they’re after because it means engagement leading to better brand deals.

I was wondering if anyone else noticed this shit. They have done this for every louis stunt and i'm sick of it. They use louis' situation and the poor innocent kid for their own personal gain and for IG attention. They did this back with eleanor and dani to and of course with larry. People will be like "omg what does this mean" when one of the twins post F or make a "larry reference" [in a teasing "good" way or in a fuck larry way]. I'm like it means NOTHING they post this shit wait like an hour when their IG engagement is at a high peak and then bamn sponsored post. 🙃🙃

Sure, some fans will still use the exclusion as proof for whatever, but it would protect the boy’s privacy and not put him into the spotlight over and over again. For years, they’ve been playing with ambiguity to spark enough controversy so Louis’ fanbase would run to their IGs to monitor them (and therefore create the necessary engagement for the twins’ stats). They’ve probably already analyzed who needs the most engagement this year so they can post the Christmas family group pic with Freddie first.

Not directed at you, nonnie, but these fans really annoy me. The chase for a “slip up” to prove “Larry is real” or whatever. Louis’ family is not and will never be a source for intel on Louis’ personal life. Also if Louis doesn’t want to share it, why go to his friends and family?

The twins are manipulative with Louis’ fanbase. And you’ve got to ask yourself why Daisy a) responds to fans asking about his dating life, and b) they’re either unaware to the fact that their supposedly close brother was all over the media holding some chick’s hand to jumpstart the conversation around him having a new gf or c) they’re the ones to then debunk those rumors…

Why do they engage with fans that way? Because they have an interest to grow their own social media presence since they earn their money with it. By responding to Louis’ fans, they sell this idea of being an inside source and it’s worth following them.

I find them very calculating in the way they use Louis and his fanbase, by discussing his private life like that, no matter if they actually know or not (I truly don’t think they’re super involved tbh)

I had to unfollow the twins last year but yep i noticed that, like this year they’ll post pics with Louis then the next post is oh what a surprise #spon post. I get they wanna post their ads whilst the engagement is hot but it just irks me a bit, comes across they’re using their brother for fame and gain. I’ve no doubt they love him and there are times we know they hang with Louis and not post about him or only post with Lottie even if Louis is there and maybe Louis doesn’t mind them using him for attention but yeah maybe it’s just me but I couldn’t do that personally it comes across as using your sibling for nothing but $$ & followers

I think a lot of people feel like you.

They are still very young, so I’m not trying to be too hard on them. Currently it works well for them, they’re probably very proud of their second-hand-celebrity status by being the ‘sisters of’.

But eventually they will grow up and find it unbearable not to be seen for who they are as a person. They are born twins to begin with, and that’s harder already to be seen for your individuality. But then still being referred to as some sister to someone who is well known and earned his fame with true talent and charisma, that’s going to fuck with your brain eventually.
