it had currently began to pour, and of course honey wasn’t prepared with an umbrella, which felt fitting for the girl’s emotions at the moment as she trudged her way to her best friend’s apartment.-- god, she missed when they lived in the same building as each other. at least the rain masked her tears. soaking wet sneakers squeaked against the floor as she finally entered his building, replaying the events of the night in her head. a whole night of plans with the guy she was seeing ditched, which honey could’ve possibly understood had this not been planned for weeks and if he didn’t basically stand her up. approaching the door she hesitated for a moment, hand hovering barely an inch from the door before the femme just decides to knock, shoulders slightly hunched as she waited. once the door opened she looked up at the other, “ um, hi. ”

                      in all their years of friendship, andy had not once needed to sleepover at ryan’s place-- probably because of how strict his father was. but after a very long day of table tennis practice and school, he needed somewhere to get some homework done, and he wasn’t very inclined to seeing his father after training, not when he knew he’d be bombarded with questions about his progress. 

so when he wakes up in their bed, he’s at a loss for words. “what-- what time is it?” had he actually fallen asleep? what was more shocking was that he actually felt well rested this time. what was happening? “did i just... crash?”

some time had passed since the last time honey had gone to see matt. last time she was there they had quite an interesting night, from her crying about her awful boyfriend to her and matt promptly fighting about it, to honey then coming to a big realization. — that had been about two weeks ago, now after spending all of those days going back and forth about whether or not she should act on how she feels honey threw caution to the wind and ended up right back where she always did. in front of matt’s place. taking a deep breath she finally knocked, looking up at the other when the door finally opened. “ hi.. ”

     tbh ... just someone who is really supportive of him ? 80% of his time is spent on the field or practicing for games so soccer is a really big part of his life obviously and to have someone tht is always there by his side ready to show their support would mean a lot to him !!!! also someone that praises him a lot ... he just always wants to be told he’s doing a good job or that he did well .. tell him you’re proud of him and acknowledge his efforts n he’ll melt in ur hands maybe 💗
