Could you do a story with fem reader x Steve smut where she's super self-conscious and he sorta talks her through it and uses lost of body praise.... perchance....
Talk you through it
Warnings: smut, fingering, slight description of oral too
You and Steve had been dating for a solid year now and never had he pressured you into doing something you didn't want to. Sure, the two of you had been having sex for a couple of months now but every time you asked him to keep the lights off and the covers on. Well this time, Steve was sure he would make you appreciate your body the way he did.
"Baby," Steve began, breaking the kiss you two were sharing. "I want to try something, okay?"
You nodded, not knowing what he had planned. "What is it?"
He began tracing his fingers around the exposed skin of your stomach, making your mind race with all kinds of insecurities. His hands travelled down to your clothed thighs, the roughness of your jeans rubbing against his calloused fingertips.
"S-Steve-" you say, cut off by his lips on yours, almost as if he was shushing you.
You moan slightly into his mouth, your hands travelling up to the hair on the nape of his neck that he couldn't exactly gel down. His fingers fumble with the button of your jeans before finally undoing it and slowly unzipping them.
You break the kiss, a panicked expression on your face. "Steve, the lights are still on."
"I know," he says, his lips pressing against the soft spot on your neck. "You're beautiful."
A heat rises to your cheeks, his words sinking into your brain. "Steve," you half-moan, half-whisper.
He unclasps your bra and pulls it off your body, thankful that your shirt had been discarded before. He presses kisses to your chest as he manoeuvres your jeans down your legs, your skin becoming exposed to the slight chill of the room.
You didn't know how to feel, with Steve atop you, you couldn't move your hands to cover your stomach or the stretchmarks that coated your upper thighs.
Steve stops and looks into your eyes, "Come here baby," he says, pulling you up from lying down.
"Steve, what are you-" He shushes you, turning you around to look at yourself in the mirror.
"Look at yourself," he says, his arms around you from behind, his lips pressing soft kisses to your jaw, neck and shoulder. "Look at how pretty you are."
As much as you appreciated his words, you couldn't exactly see what he saw in you. You hated the way your stomach creased, especially when you sat down. Your chest was nothing compared to other girls you knew Steve had been with before you, your thighs were way too big for your body and they made your figure look odd and larger than you wanted it to be.
His hands travelled down to your hips, his fingers slipping into the band of your underwear, causing heat to form. "Steve."
"Yes, baby?" he asks, looking up into your eyes through the reflection, his hair tousled and messy, making him look ten times hotter than he usually did.
"What are you trying to do?" You ask, a disapproving look in your eyes as you scan over your body, his hands staying in their position.
"I want you to know how beautiful you are," he says. "I want you to know how much I love you."
You didn't say anything, you just continued to look at yourself in the glass, Steve's hands beginning to move closer to the place you needed him most. His middle finger found your clit and he brushed against it, causing your body to snap back into his, his erection pressed against your behind.
"Look at yourself, love," he whispers into your ear, his middle finger moving in circles, waves of pleasure flowing through you. "Look at how pretty you are."
You listened, you looked into the mirror, small moans escaping your mouth as he moved his finger, your clit becoming harder and more sensitive by the minute. His other hand found its way to your boobs, squeezing them and toying with your nipples, increasing the pleasure you felt even more.
"Steve," you moan, turning your head to look at him from behind you.
"What did I say?" He says, placing his fingers on your chin and turning your head towards the mirror once more. "You look so pretty for me like this. Are you gonna let me show you how beautiful I think you are? Hm?"
You nod. "Yes."
He chuckles, placing another kiss on your neck and admiring the love bites he has given you. "Good girl."
He inserts a finger into you, causing your mouth to drop open, his digit pumping in and out of you at an ungodly speed, curling in all of the right places.
After a few moments, he removes his hand and turns you around to look into his eyes. "You wanna move to the bed?"
Younod. looking right back at him, causing him to smile. He picks you up and lays you down, your head placed perfectly on his pillow.
He kisses down your stomach and when he reaches your panties, he pulls them down your legs, admiring the way your pussy yearns for him. He places one of his hands on your left thigh, spreading them apart with ease, his mouth inching closer to your heat. Using his fingers, he spreads your slick all over your pussy and inserts his middle and ring fingers into you, your mouth falling open once more.
His other hand grabs yours, interlocking your fingers so that you know he is there for you. "You're so pretty, baby," he says before attaching his lips to your swollen clit. His tongue spins in circles as he pumps his fingers in and out of you, causing pleasure to surge through your entire body, Your head falls back onto the pillow and the hand that you have spare flies to Steve's hair, pulling and tugging at the strands.
"You taste so good, baby," He says, diving in once more, kissing, nipping and sucking at your needy bud.

A/N: I hope this is okay and what you were imagining, I didn't really know how I was gonna write this one but I think it came out pretty good. Thank you so much for the request!!

summary: you're seeing someone, but you can't help but want a certain fighter pilot - that being the one and only Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell
song: you right by doja cat ft. the weeknd
It was just another Friday night at The Hard Deck - drinks were flowing and conversations were bubbling. You'd been childhood friends with Phoenix, and through her you met the infamous Dagger Squad. Instantly, you became close friends with all of them, and maybe even more with a certain fighter pilot. However, you were seeing someone, so naturally you decided to try and rid yourself of the feelings you'd developed for Maverick - despite it being damn near impossible to do so.
Currently you stood next to Phoenix with a cold drink in your hand, eyes staring dead ahead at a captain you'd grown to adore. He was sat alone, phone in one hand, and his other hand gently clutched around a beer bottle. Maverick had a gentle smile on his face as he scrolled on the small piece of technology, and it made your heart flutter. Noticing the building feeling in your chest, you ripped your eyes away and focused on something else - that being your feet in front of you. They shuffled uncomfortably and you looked back up sheepishly to an empty table, a feeling of guilt slowly beginning to eat at you.
Suddenly, your phone buzzed and you flinched at the vibration in your back pocket, your hand quickly flying to grab it. It was a text from Jamie. 'Everything ok?'聽聽read the message, making you feel sick. You groaned quietly and shoved it back into your pocket, gently clamping your teeth down on your bottom lip to nibble on it nervously.
"Everything okay?" Natasha frowned from beside you; a small, curious smile creeping onto her lips. Your mouth instantly fell open at her words, and her frown intensified.
"Did you read my text?" You asked, returning her frown. Natasha only chuckled incredulously, quite obviously confused at your accusation.
"What text? You just seem on edge." She squinted eagerly at you, starting to stare into what felt like your soul.
"I'm fine, it's just..." You sighed quietly, eyes glancing to Maverick who was now currently chatting with Hangman and Rooster. Natasha quickly followed your gaze and she attempted to hold back a smug smile, though her face betrayed her. "Don't." You groaned, looking back at your best friend.
"Aren't you seeing James or whatever his name is?" Natasha chuckled again, dryly, evidently showing her distaste in the guy you were currently dating. You cringed at her words and looked down at your shoes, swallowing harshly like you'd just taken a sip of poison.
"Err, yeah, but it's聽Jamie, Tasha." You cleared your throat. She only glanced at you with a cocked brow, and you took that as a 'whatever.' "He's not that bad, Phee, not compared to the other guys I've dated..." You said, trying to win her over. Though it was not a fair fight - Natasha had obviously made her mind up about this whole kerfuffle.
"Y/N/N, you choose to date the most fucked up men I've ever laid eyes on," She laughed as her hand flew to her stomach to clutch it. "You can do so much better, it's like you don't know your worth. We聽all聽agree on this, by the way." Natasha gave you a single nod, casting her eyes around the bar as if to point at the squad.
"Um, even Mav?" You asked shyly and squinted your eyes as you awkwardly scratched the back of your neck, trying to act non-chalant. She glanced at your squished face and held back a giggle, not wanting to embarrass you. The pilot knew how you felt about her instructor, despite not having told anyone anything.
"Yes, even Mav." Natasha hummed, taking a sip of the beer in her hand. Before you could answer her, a familiar, yet unwanted voice appeared from behind you.
"Y/N?" A male voice called, and you turned around to face them, your heart dropping. You pushed a fake smile onto your face as you heard Natasha try and conceal a snort with a poorly-timed cough.聽Oh, god.
"Jamie?" You frowned, suddenly questioning why he was here. "What are you doing here?" You asked, staring at him, clearly confused at his presence.
"You didn't reply to my text, and I was worried you were in trouble, so I came to find you." Jamie replied with a frown making your stomach churn. He probably had your best interests at heart, so you tried not to read into his actions too much. "Looks like you're alright." He added with a nod at Phoenix, who cautiously returned it, eyeing him slowly.
"Yeah, I'm okay. Thanks for coming to see if I was okay." You awkwardly smiled, running a nervous hand through your hair. You watched as Jamie pressed forwards and slid an arm around your waist, making Natasha's eyes almost fall out of her head. She stepped back, glaring as his wide body shoved her out the way. He uncomfortably pulled you tight against him, making you squeak.
"It's what good boyfriends do." He smiled, and you blinked at him, shocked at his words.
"Oh, y-you're my boyfriend?" You breathed out in surprise, eyes widened. Jamie nodded at you, his eyes gleaming with something you weren't sure of. "That's nice." You chuckled quietly, eyes darting to Maverick who was currently watching you and Jamie like a hawk. You gasped and quickly looked back at your 'boyfriend', trying to hide the blush that was currently painting your cheeks pink.
"Well we've been seeing each other for a couple months now.." Jamie frowned gently, confusion evident in his voice. Phoenix's head whipped around at the speed of light at his words, and you stared at her like a doe caught in headlights.
"What?!" She mouthed at you, and you threw her an awkward grin, looking back at the man who had you in his grasp.
"Yeah, I guess we have..." You trailed off and nodded as you slid your hand down to his vice-like grip to try and remove it from your waist. "Jamie, you're hurting me." You whispered to him, and he quickly let go of you, offering you an apologetic look. Natasha still had her eyes on you two, observing your 'boyfriend' like he was a laboratory experiment. Little did you know, so did Maverick.
"Guess that means I should stay and make sure you don't do anything stupid then, huh?" Jamie joked, earning a disgusted look from Natasha behind him. You were speechless, and utterly lost at how to reply, so you just played along.
"Err, yeah, I guess," You swallowed.
****
"So, how long have you been seeing聽that聽guy?" A familiar and warm voice suddenly appeared beside you, making your heart race. You turned around, finding the man you'd been desiring all night. A pink blush powdered your cheeks and you let out a gentle laugh at his question.
"Um, a couple months." You brushed a stray strand of hair behind your ear mindlessly. Pete smiled at you, his eyes trained on yours. You could feel your stomach doing somersaults inside and you cursed yourself for such a thing. "He's, err, nice," You laughed again, pursing your lips.
"He seems it," Pete nodded in agreement and knocked his knuckles on the wooden bar top quietly. You bit down on your bottom lip and chewed it momentarily, not knowing how to navigate such a topic. "I, uh, never caught his name?" Pete's brows knitted together as he kept his eyes on you.
"Jamie." You stared at Pete, and he stared back at you. The two of you knew there was an undeniable connection between you - it felt like two magnets being held so close together but never being allowed to connect. It was like torture. Your eyes swiftly glanced down at his lips, and you so desperately just wanted to kiss him, but you knew better than that. So you tore your gaze away from him, despite the painful feeling that set within you. "You seeing anyone new?" You asked quickly, wanting to fill the silence that had settled between you two.
"Nah, I'm not exactly looking for anything right now," Pete said, making your heart drop - even though it shouldn't. "I'm happy by myself." He added with a smile that almost made your knees collapse. 'There it is,' you thought. Even if the two of you wanted each other, Pete had made it clear that nothing could ever happen between you two.
"I'm glad you're happy, Pete," You smiled at him, despite the sorrowful feeling beginning to gather in your chest. "It's about time, and it makes me happy that you're happy." You said with a gentle nod, catching sight of Jamie heading over to where you and the captain were currently stood. You held back a groan and clenched your jaw, sliding your eyes back to Pete who frowned at you, obviously noticing your change in behaviour. He threw a quick glance behind him, and turned back around with an amused smile painted on his lips.
"Ah," Is all he said as he leant up from the bar, inhaling slowly. Your head was angled down at the ground but your eyes were stuck on Pete like a magnet. God, why couldn't he just-
"Ready to go, honey-bear?" Jamie smiled at you, purposefully ignoring Pete beside you. You bit back a grimace and smiled at him back, nodding. Your 'boyfriend' slipped in front of the captain, though you could still see part of his face as he leant back onto the bar casually. Pete threw you a cringed look and you subtly rolled your eyes, tearing them away from him.
"Mhm," You hummed. "I'm just gonna pop to the toilet first." You said, throwing a glance at Pete. The captain stared down at the bar-top with a straight face, but you knew he was listening to your conversation. If you were honest, in your mind, you were imagining him following you to the toilets and living out your wildest fantasies.
"Okay, I'll meet you outside." Jamie stepped forwards to press a surprise kiss to your lips - in which you had no time to react to - so you accepted your fate and kissed him back, although it didn't feel right to you. As Jamie pulled away, you smiled awkwardly up at him and brushed a hand through your hair. He stepped back and began to walk away, but not before throwing a harsh look at Pete.
"I guess I'll see you soon then, Pete?" You cleared your throat, a hand flying up to wipe the wetness that Jamie had left upon your lips. Pete couldn't help but chuckle at your action, earning a groan from you.
"Yeah," He smiled at you with a short nod, leaving you unsatisfied. You wished you could just throw yourself at him, but life wasn't good to you like that. "See you soon, Y/N." Pete said as you began to wander to the toilets, and you waved at him.
"Ugh," You groaned to yourself once you were out of ear-shot, heading towards the bar toilets. The sound of your hand slapping against the swing-door echoed out in the empty toilets as you walked in; a warm orange light engulfed the room. The tiled wall was a sage green, and the floor complimented it with white tiles. Your tired reflection stared back at you in the circle shaped, black-rimmed mirror. Your hands fell onto the white countertops as you gazed down at the white basin, a distorted version of your reflection appearing in the silver faucet. As you stared at your reflection, another reflection appeared behind you, but it appeared more masculine than feminine.
With a soft gasp you whipped your body around to face the mysterious figure, but you were met with the someone you'd been hoping for. "Pete?" You breathed out, a little surprised at him being in the ladies room. "You know this is the ladies room, right?" You giggled nervously, glancing between him and the door. Your tense body relaxed slightly as he stepped closer to you, your hands still resting against the countertop.
"Yeah," Pete chuckled at your words, making your stomach do loops. You bit down on your bottom lip in a feeble attempt to distract your wandering mind. "I just wanted to see you again." He said, eyes never leaving yours. The way he stared at you made you feel like the only girl in the world, and to your dismay - it also made you breathless.
"Oh?" Was all you could muster up as he continued to step closer to you, until your chests were mere centimetres from one another. You swallowed thickly as his hot breath caressed your cheek, feeling your heart begin to go into overdrive. You were not an unfaithful person, you weren't brought up that way, but the way Pete was making you feel right now was really making you consider things...
"If you want me to go, just say so." Pete said quietly to you, his baby blue eyes glued to yours. You couldn't look away from him, he was so fucking captivating - like some optical illusion. Instantly you shook your head, and even though you looked desperate, you didn't care.
"No." You said simply as your hands flew to his chest; fingers knotting themselves in the collar of his leather jacket. "I want you," You whined softly, feeling small tears beginning to prick your eyes. "But..." You trailed off, letting your eyes fall to where your fingers were currently gripping onto his jacket. Pete nodded slowly, understanding where this was heading.
"I know, sweetheart." He mumbled, his eyes dotting over your beautiful face. You looked back up at him, gaze falling to his perfect pink lips for a slight second. During that miniscule amount of time, you debated everything. Was it worth ruining something with Jamie? Was it worth potentially ruining your friendship with Pete for something that is possibly just lust?
You looked back up into his eyes, and you knew that was it.
Within seconds Pete pressed his warm lips to yours passionately, his hands flying up to bury themselves in your hair. You whimpered at his touch and your hands slipped up to caress his neck as he pulled you flush against him; your thighs squeezed against the countertop as he pushed against you. Pete slid his hands down from your hair to your thighs and lifted you up so you were sat on the countertop, and instinctively you spread your legs so he could stand between them.
"Oh, Pete-" You moaned softly into his lips, feeling him smile against yours. "You're so much better than him," You said breathlessly in between his desperate kisses. Pete's hands squeezed your thighs, his fingers gently kneading the soft flesh that surrounded him. Suddenly, it dawned on you that you were in a public bathroom -聽 let alone the fact that your 'boyfriend' was waiting outside for you. You reluctantly pulled away from Pete, though you kept your hands wrapped around his neck, the pads of your thumbs softly stroking the nape of his neck.
"Shit, I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't have-" Pete stuttered and shook his head vigorously. God, what the hell was he thinking? You had a聽boyfriend. He stepped back from you and removed his hands, placing them at his sides, before wildly running one through his hair. A look of hurt painted your face as you watched him walk away, your heart dropping in your chest.
"Pete, no, it's fine," You sighed, slipping off of the countertop to reach him. You placed a soft hand on his cheek and it seemed to ground him, his eyes flying to meet yours. "It's not your fault, I shouldn't have said those things." You whispered as the two of you shared a warm gaze.
"No, don't say that." His voice was quiet as his eyes fell from yours to the floor, and you couldn't help but feel awful. You watched as his jaw clenched; the muscle flexing underneath the orange glow of the bathroom lights. "You're with someone, and I shouldn't have done that." Pete sighed, clearly disappointed in himself. Jesus, how could he be so reckless?
"You're right, I'm seeing Jamie... but I want聽you." You said lowly, thumb brushing against his cheek. Your let your head fall forwards, and Pete started to feel the guilt begin to eat at him as his eyes studied your face. "I can't help it. There's something between us that I can't deny, I don't feel anything when I'm with Jamie, but when I'm with you - it's...聽different. I-I don't know what it is, but I want it." You rambled, stumbling over your words like a new-born foal. You looked up to find Pete's eyes burning into yours, waiting desperately for you to say the one thing on his mind.
"I want you too." He admitted quietly, almost sheepishly - he knew how wrong this was... you had a man. The energy between you two was just too intense to handle, and it wasn't something the both of you were willing to ignore. "Are you sure about him, sweetheart?" Pete asked, his smooth voice piercing the veil of silence that had suddenly plagued the room. You blinked slowly as you gazed down at the floor before averting it to Pete's warm one.
"No." You answered curtly, staring straight at the captain. He was right in a way, you never felt happy around Jamie - in all honesty, he was a distraction. Not to mention a way to stop your parents from hounding you about when you were going to 'give them grandchildren.' Every time the man said anything you cringed, grimaced or even gagged. What the hell were you thinking? The solution to this problem was standing right in front of you.
Almost too quickly, you fished your phone out of your pocket and dialled Jamie's number. Pete's eyes were watching you swiftly, quite obviously confused at what the hell you were doing. You had to swallow a gag as Jamie's voicemail echoed through your phone. "Hi, Jamie, err, I think we should see other people. It's nothing personal, so please, don't take it that way. I just don't think I'm ready for a relationship just yet." You said into the phone, eyes closing momentarily to think of some bullshit to spew so you could end whatever you had with him without heavy repercussions. At that moment in time, you thanked your lucky stars that you didn't meet him through mutual friends, but during a night-out in a different state.
As you pushed your phone back into your jean pocket with a single finger, you looked back up at Pete who couldn't hide smile that was growing on his face. After listening to you, he was certain what was about to happen.聽
"So?" He cocked a brow, awaiting your answer. A toothy grin broke out on your face.
"I'm yours." A soft chuckle left your lips as Pete walked forwards to embrace you in his arms, the musk of his leather filling your nostrils with a homey and warm feeling. This was聽not聽how you expected the night to turn out... at all - but you weren't complaining.

"Might be time to get a maid, Wheeler."
"Come on, I don't want to stay here any longer than we have to."
*yn* was vaguely aware of Nancy and Robin's voices behind her as her eyes darted over every corner of the Wheeler residence. It was the first time in the last three days that she'd had time to focus on the finite details.
It really was exactly like Hawkins, down to the pictures on the walls and the horrible cushion covers on the couch. A carbon copy, apart from the replacement of living, breathing humans with monsters carved from her nightmares.
"*yn*? You comin'?"
The sound of her name finally forced *yn* to drag her attention away from her surroundings.
"Yeah." She nodded stiffly when she saw Nancy studying her from the top of the stairs.
"You ok?" Steve asked her as she began her ascension.
"Yeah just still trying to process the whole vecna, upside down, eleven, demadog, mind flayer, billy hargrove possession, rat explosion thing - you know?"
"Ooh don't forget the guy who cut his own eye balls out in the mental hospital!" Robin piped up from behind her as they followed Nancy into her room.
"Right of course, how could I forget."
"Oh and the Russians." Robin continued as they watched Nancy pull out a shoe box from her closet.
Of course, who could forget that Hawkins new, shiny mall had actually been an undercover base for the soviet union.
"Uh those aren't guns." Eddie stated as a pair of white ballet flats stared up at them.
"Maybe you put them somewhere else?" *yn* suggested as her eyes wandered over every inch of Nancy's room.
"There's a six year old in the house, I know where I keep my guns. Besides I threw this pair away years ago." Nancy retorted but *yn* was already preoccupied as she shone her torch across the walls.
"I didn't pick you as a Tom Cruise fan." *yn* grinned as she spotted the glimpses of a poster underneath a vine.
"Wha- I got rid of that years ago." Nancy flustered as she came to stand beside *yn*.
"There's no need to be embarrassed, this is a safe space Wheeler. Besides he is very dreamy." *yn* teased.
"He is?" Eddie crossed his arms in front of his chest, unable to hide his jealousy as he stared at the upside down's version of Tom Cruise. His question made *yn* gawk as she swung around to look at him.
"Have you seen risky business?"
"Yeah but-"
"This wallpaper-" Nancy interrupted the pair as her eyes darted around. "This is old wallpaper. And this mirror- this went to a yard sale." She was almost manic as she gestured to objects in her room.
"And you-" Her eyes landed on a soft toy placed on the edge of her bed. "You are not supposed to be here." She picked up the toy, gripping it tightly to her chest as she moved around her bed. "I gave you to cousin Joanna two years ago."
The other three watched her intently as she discarded the toy and grabbed a notebook from her bedside table.
"What is it?" Eddie asked as they watched her frantically flip through the pages.
"Nance, you're freaking me out." Robin continued as Nancy's fingers stilled and her eyes scanned the pages.
"I think the reason that my guns aren't here is because they don't exist yet."
"Well that's helpful." *yn* remarked.
"This diary should be full of entries - it's not." Nancy explained as she swung around to face them. "The last entry is November 6th 1983. The day Will went missing. The day the gate opened....we're in the past."
*yn*'s eyes grew wide as she tried to digest Nancy's words, her head spinning as it tried to make sense of yet another twist in the apparently never ending story that was Hawkins and the upside down.
"Guess I'll add time travel to my list then." She murmured causing all eyes to fall on her.
"Dustin!" Steve's frantic voice wafting up the stairs prevented from anyone responding to her. Instead they all turned and sprinted back down the stairs towards his shouts.
Eddie was the last to leave Nancy's room, his eyes finding the poster on the wall once more.
"Tom Cruise... really?" He muttered bitterly as he shot the image a glare before hurrying after the others.
Eddie knew he should be focused on more important things, like getting out of an alternate dimension in one piece. But now all he could think about was *yn* *yln* and the fact that she might just be his soulmate.
He kept waiting for the penny to drop, for her to say something that would make his turn his nose up in disgust and say "ha! I knew you were too good to be true *yn* *yln*" but so far nothing she could do or say seemed to have that effect. The fact she enjoyed risky business and thought Tom Cruise was dreamy should have sent him running for the hills, but instead he was jealous. And of Tom Cruise of all people.
In all honesty, it was kind of annoying. It was like she was some sort of virus that had nestled its way under his skin, burying itself into his consciousness.
And according to Steve Harrington, there was no cure.
"Henderson told me you were a badass. Insisted on the matter in fact."
"Wait Henderson said that?"
"Oh shit yeah, kid wooorships you dude like, you have no idea." Eddie answered as he stepped over a log.
"It's kind of annoying to be honest, like I don't even know why I care what that little shrimp thinks but uhh guess I got a little jealous Steve." He continued as he shot Steve a smirk.
"I guess I just couldn't accept the fact that Steve Harrington was actually a good dude. Rich parents, popular, chicks love him and not a douche?" Eddie paused for dramatic effect as he shook his head.
"No way man, that like goes against all the laws in the universe and my own personal Munson doctrine. But I uh- guess I need to start rethinking that doctrine now after you and-" Eddie cut himself off as his eyes flitted to *yn*'s figure in front of them.
Steve followed his gaze, shining his torch on *yn* who was currently chatting animately with Robin ahead of them.
"Yeah *yn*'s pretty cool." Eddie would have gotten jealous if it wasn't for the knowing smirk on Steve's lips and the way his brow quirked up as he glanced back at him.
"Dude she's more than cool she's -" Eddie cut himself off as he stared at *yn* once more. "She's smart and funny and ridiculously hot and popular all while being metal as hell, like that combination in a chick should not exist. It's scientifically impossible." Eddie shook his head in disbelief as he watched *yn* tilt her head back and laughed at something Robin had said. The sight made his stomach twist in all kinds of weird and whacky knots.
"Do you believe in soulmates?" Eddie came to a sudden stop as he swivelled around to face Steve.
"What?" Steve's eyes grew wide as he tried to digest Eddie's question.
"You know soulmates, true love - all that crap." Eddie continued, his hands flailing as he spoke. "Because I personally am like the most cynical dude on the planet right? but right now I am pretty much convinced that that lady-" Eddie was talking again before Steve even had time to open his mouth to respond. Eddie paused as his eyes lingered on *yn* for a few moments.
"Do you think she's a witch?" Eddie turned back to Steve. "I feel like she's a witch."
"What-"
"Because she already likes metal music and according to everyone that means she's practically a hop skip and a jump away from being a full blown witchcraft practicing satan worshipper. Maybe she's the real deal, maybe she's cast some sort of spell on me."
"Eddie."
Finally Eddie took a breath as he looked at Steve imploringly.
"I am pretty damn sure *yn* *yln* is not a witch."
"How sure?"
"What?"
"You said pretty sure - how sure is that? Like on a scale of 1 to 100 where does 'pretty sure' fall? 60? 40? Cause that makes a big difference Steve."
Steve inhaled sharply as he pinched the bridge of his nose in between his fingers. "Like 99 percent sure Eddie. She's not a witch, you just like her."
Eddie let out a humourless chuckle and shook his head. "I like the chocolate pudding at the cafeteria." His hands were his hips as he shifted his weight from foot to foot. "I like scaring the crap out of Jason Carver and his little jock friends. This isn't liking something this is-" He cut himself off once more as his eyes involuntarily dragged back to *yn*.
"This is like, I can't think about anything else or want to think about anything else and don't know what to do about it." A sympathetic and understanding look flashed across Steve's face.
"Yeah I know that feeling." He muttered.
"How do you stop it?"
Steve's gaze lingered on Nancy as Eddie spoke.
"You don't."
*yn* could hear the others talking amongst themselves as Dustin Henderson gave them instructions on how to escape the upside down. Her attention however was solely on the iridescent particles that wafted up from the light source placed on the bed in front of them.
She leant forward and let her hand drift through the translucent layer, a warm tingly feeling spreading across her skin as the particles brushed against it.
Her eyes flitted to Eddie who seemed equally as mesmerised by the sight in front of them. The light cast an orangey-golden glow on his face, illuminating his large brown eyes and the rest of his features. He looked almost ethereal.
"Eddie, how far's your trailer?" Nancy's question snatched *yn*'s view away from her as Eddie turned away from the light.
"Seven miles."
"Nance, I know your house is like weirdly frozen in time and shit but... haven't you always had bikes?"
There was a pause after Robin's words as Nancy peeled through her memories trying to remember how things used to be, "yeah." She finally answered. "Some in the garage and a few in the basement I think."
"I'll go check the garage. Let's meet out front in ten." *yn* was up and heading towards the stairs before anyone could argue.
"I guess I'll check the basement then."
"I'll come with you."
Steve followed after Nancy as they made their way to the basement, leaving Eddie and Robin seated on the bedroom floor.
Silence filled the room as Eddie leant back and cast his eye over the room.
"Do you think Tom Cruise is dreamy?"
Robin raised a brow at his question. "Dude you're barking up the wrong tree with that one."
Eddie's brow narrowed as he twisted his bottom lip in between his index finger and thumb, his eyes fixed once more on the risky business poster.
"You should go check on *yn*."
The mention of her name made Eddie break out of his thoughts, blinking rapidly a few times as he stared at Robin.
"See if she needs help...." Robin trailed off as she stared at him suggestively. She was only met with a confused expression.
"With the bikes." Robin emphasised.
"Oh right, yeah." Eddie swallowed nervously as he nodded. "Good idea, I'll go do that."
Robin shook her head in amusement as she watched him scramble up to his feet. "I'll uh-" He ran a hand through his matted hair, "I'll go check and see if she needs help with the uh- with the bikes."
A tight lipped smile twisted onto Robin's lips as she raised her brows and nodded her head in encouragement.
"You do that."
Eddie nodded, sending her an awkward smile before he made his way outside.
He rubbed his sweaty palms on the front of his black jeans as he stepped outside. His heart was racing as he neared the garage and spied *yn* pulling out one of the bikes.
"C'mon Munson." He mumbled. He was Eddie "the freak" Munson, alleged cult leader and social outcast. If he could survive persecution by the entire town of Hawkins, he could talk to *yn* *yln*.
So with that he puffed up his chest, twisted his skull ring one last time and approached her.
"You need a hand princess?"
"Princess?" A small smirk twisted up onto her lips as her eyes locked with his.
On second thought, maybe Eddie would prefer to take on the entire population of Hawkins instead.
"The 'of darkness' is implied." His answer made her chuckle as she turned back to grip the handle bars of one of the bikes.
"If you don't like it I can-"
"No." She cut him off quickly as she turned back to him. "I like it." Eddie swore that despite the dark veil that the upside down threw over everyone and everything, he could see a blush rise up on her cheeks.
"Do you have a nickname?"
"Uhhh, if you count 'long haired freak' or 'satanist' as nicknames then yeah, I've got loads."
*yn*'s nose wrinkled in displeasure as he listed off all of the names. It didn't feel right calling him a freak, not anymore, not even as a joke. Not now that she knew what he was really like. He deserved a better nickname than that, but she just didn't know what.
Eddie seemed to sense her discomfort, taking a step forward as he shoved his hands into his back pockets.
"Just Eddie is fine."
His answer seemed to satisfy *yn* as a tight lipped smile curled up onto her lips.
"Alright 'just Eddie'." She teased, emphasising his name. It was the first time that she had actually said his first name out loud. It sounded good coming from her lips. It would sound even better if she was-
"I could actually use a hand." *yn*'s voice interrupted his thoughts as she pulled one of the bikes out. Eddie grinned back at her as he took one of the bikes from her.
"At your service, princess."
With that the pair pushed the two bikes out of the garage and back to the front of the house. Steve, Robin and Nancy were already there, bikes by their sides.
"Alright, we're all good?" Steve asked once the pair had joined them, glancing around the group who nodded back at him.
"Let's get the hell out of here."
*yn* gripped the handlebars tightly as she swung up onto the seat, one foot resting on the ground and the other on the peddle, ready to push off. Her eyes flitted to Eddie beside her to see he too was ready to go.
A devilish grin spread across her lips as the pair locked eyes.
"I'll race you to your trailer."
Eddie's fingers clenched around the handlebars in response, the metal of his rings glinting back at her. A wild grin spread across his lips, reaching his eyes as they shone with anticipation.
"Oh you are so on princess."
"Hey!" She called out as he took off without warning. Her mouth slack in disbelief as she watched Eddie Munson blatantly cheat right before her eyes.
"Oh you are going down Munson." All traces of humour fled from *yn*'s features as her jaw set in a determined clench and she used her left foot to launch the bike forward.
She could hear the others calling out after her as she began to pedal as fast as her legs would allow. Their voices faded into the distance as she caught up to Eddie, so close that she could almost reach out and tug on his hair.
She kept her pace for the rest of the ride, allowing him to lead the way and burn through his energy supply. That was until he took a right turn into the trailer park.
"It's right here." He shouted out to the others.
She grinned as she used his moment of distraction to dash in front of him, causing him to let out a shout of surprise.
"Oh no you don't."
Her grip on the handlebars was so tight now that her knuckles were bone white as she raced ahead, his trailer only metres away. Once she was close enough she slammed her foot down onto the ground, causing her bike to come to a teetering stop.
She leapt over one side, abandoning the bike where it fell as she sprinted towards the trailer. She let out a triumphant shout as she slammed her hand against the trailer door, signifying her victory.
"And that's how you do it." She grinned as she twirled around to face her opponent.
"Well played *yln*, well played." Eddie bowed in defeat causing her grin to widen.
"I want one of your records." She declared, placing her hands on her hips.
"Come again?"
"I know you must have some classics stashed away somewhere." Her words made Eddie raise a brow sceptically.
"As a prize for winning, I get to go through your collection and pick whichever record I want." She explained as she took a step towards Eddie.
"I'm sorry, I don't think I recall agreeing to these conditions." Eddie was unable to hide his amusement as he studied her.
"You cheating by taking a head start was your agreement Munson." *yn* challenged, crossing her arms in front of chest as she stared up at him.
"Fine." He let out a dramatic huff of defeat. "After all of this you can come over and loot my prized possessions." He grumbled, although the smile on his lips didn't match his tone. *yn* grinned at her victory, her eyes sparkling with amusement as she studied him.
"I can't wait."
There was a pause as he studied her, his eyes involuntarily darting to her lips before meeting her gaze once more.
"That's gotta be some sort of record." Robin's voice caused the pair to step away from each other as the other three arrived. "Most miles travelled inter-dimensionally." She continued as she reached Eddie and *yn*.
"Right this way ladies and gents." Eddie greeted them as he opened up the door to his trailer to lead them inside.
The five of them piled inside, their eyes all immediately flying to the red glowing hole on the ceiling.
"God damn." Steve breathed out as they all stared up at the gate.
"This is where Chrissie died, like right where she died." Eddie explained.
"This looks exactly like the one where Fred died too." *yn* murmured as she took a step closer to inspect it. It was an exact replica, the exact same one that she'd pushed herself through in the search for an eye catching headline.
"I think there's something in it." Robin murmured.
The five both crept closer as they saw a small bulge appear in the centre of the gate.
"What the hell is that..."
They all leapt back and shouted as the gooey seal covering the gate burst open, spraying gunk all over the floor. A stick suddenly appeared, removing the remainder of the seal away.
Natural light spilled into the trailer as they all shrunk back, warily waiting for something or someone to strike. When nothing happened the five exchanged glances before slowly edging forward.
*yn* held her breath as the other side of the gate finally came into view.
"No way." She heard Steve say from beside her as she stared up to see the normal version of Eddie's trailer occupied by four kids.
"Hi!" One grinned waving excitedly, who *yn* deduced to be Dustin Henderson.
*yn* could hear the others shouting greetings back as they all waved in return.
"Holy shit this is trippy." Robin awed.
"Um, who the hell is that?" The youngest of the four whom *yn* didn't recognise spoke pointing directly at *yn*.
*yn* turned to Robin, confusion on her features as she tried to piece together who was who. "That's Erica, Lucas Sinclair's younger sister. And the other's are Max, Dustin and Lucas." Robin explained.
"Right..." *yn* nodded as the names sparked recognition from when Robin had animately tried to explain every single event that had occurred in the last three years.
It was still almost impossible to get her head around that so many teenagers were involved in the cover up of the existence of an alternate dimension.
"Hello?" Erica called out once more when she didn't receive a response.
"It's *yn* *yln*!" Robin shouted back.
Erica rose a brow at the unfamiliar name, looking around at the others to see if they recognised it.
"Wait *yn* *yln* as in...." Lucas trailed off as he thought back to conversations with the basketball team. Her name had definitely been mentioned before.
"Valedictorian?" Lucas shouted back causing all eyes to fall on *yn*.
"Hopefully!" Was *yn*'s response as she watched the kids murmur amongst themselves.
"I'm sorry, who the hell is this?" Max asked.
"*yn* *yln* she's the editor of the school paper, on track to be valedictorian." Lucas answered. "The guys on the team talked about her sometimes." He hurriedly added when he saw the less than impressed look on Max's features.
"I'm sorry what the fuck is the valedictorian doing in the upside down?" Dustin exaserbated.
"Hey dweebs! Time for gossiping later, yeah?" Steve demanded as he glared up impatiently.
"Geez alright fine, not like I just saved your ass or anything." Dustin grumbled as he moved forward to grab the rope he'd made out of bedsheets.
"Get the mattress."
With that Max and Lucas hurried to grab the mattress they'd pulled from Eddie's room - bringing it out to lay directly underneath the gate.
"Those stains are um..." Eddie trailed off as he stared up at the mattress. "I don't know what those stains are."
Robin and *yn* exchanged amused glances as they watched Dustin stand above them, rope in hand.
"Not sure how these physics are gonna work but uh- here goes nothing." With that Dustin threw the rope through the gate.
The five watched as gravity kicked in and it hung down from the gate above them. Dustin gave it a tug, a grin spreading across his lips.
"And if my theory is correct...." with that he tentatively let go, the rope staying in place all by itself.
"These kids are way too smart for their own good." *yn* shook her head, completely mesmerised at the gravitational phenomenon that was occurring in front of them.
"You don't know the half of it." Steve remarked as he tugged on the rope to confirm that it was secure.
"This is the craziest shit I've ever seen in my entire life." *yn* heard Erica say from above them.
She had to agree with that one.
"Guess I'm the guinea pig." Robin spoke as she leapt up onto the rope, using her upper body strength to pull her up towards the hole. They watched with bated breath as she crossed through the gate, gravity suddenly pulling her down towards the mattress.
"Holy shit." Robin exclaimed as she slammed onto the mattress. "Thank god, that was fun." She chuckled as Dustin helped her up, relief flooding through the others at the sight of her smile.
The remaining four glanced around at each other, seeing who would go next.
"I'll go." *yn* offered when the other three stood silent and unmoving. She glanced up at the rope, gritting her teeth as she gripped the sheets firmly.
"Here goes nothing." She murmured before pulling herself up and wrapping her legs around the rope. She shimmied up, grimacing as she pulled herself up towards the gate.
The second her body left the upside down, gravity clung to her upper body, begging to drag her down onto the mattress. She squeezed her eyes shut and let go, letting gravity do its job as she felt her back hit the mattress with a thud.
"Jesus." *yn* chuckled breathlessly at the rush of adrenaline that pulsed through her. "That was fun." *yn* agreed as Robin extended a hand for her to take.
As she rose to her full height she glanced around to see four sets of eyes all staring back at her curiously.
"Hi." She smiled, "I'm *yn*."
"Yeah we heard." Max answered flatly.
"How the hell did you end up in the upside down?" Erica questioned.
"Incoming!" Eddie called out from above them before *yn* could answer. *yn* stepped out of the way just in time before Eddie came crashing down onto the mattress with a loud thud.
"That really is fun." He grinned, brushing his hair out of his face as *yn* bent down and offered her hand.
"Don't suppose we have time to go through those records now huh?" His eyes crinkled upwards as his smile widened at her response, his hand clasping over hers.
"Not a chance princess." The nickname made butterflies form in her stomach, her heart rate increasing as his thumb ghosted over the top of her hand and she realised how close they were standing together once he was on his feet.
"Uh..." Dustin's eyes darted between the pair his brow furrowed in confusion. "I'm sorry what the hell have I missed here?"
*yn*'s lips parted in surprise when she realised that Dustin was talking about her and Eddie as he gestured between the two.
"Nancy!" Steve's unexpected and desperate shout made the seven of them pile onto the crowded mattress to look up, Dustin's question left abandoned.
*yn* stared up in horror at the sight of Nancy standing rooted in place, her eyes rolled back so far into her head that only the whites of her eyes were visible.
*yn* felt her heart pound against her ribcage as she glanced around the group, swallowing nervously before speaking.
"Is.. is that..."
Max nodded, confirming *yn*'s worst fears.
"Vecna."

love the gang breaking up with reader hcs!! could we get hcs of them getting back together though馃様
A/N: Hey guyssss! So sorry that i haven't posted in a while, I was enjoying some time off before the dreaded work ethic takes over haha. I have had SO MANY people ask this (by that I mean like 5) but that's a LOT fort me. I love this idea so i hope you like my writing of it :)
---
DARRY would take such a long time to realise that he regrets breaking up with you purely because he is such a busy man that he barely has any time to think about something other than work work work. He wouldn't know where to begin, what to say, when he was gonna have the time to even speak to you properly.
Luckily for him, you just so happened to be passing by the store he works in on weekends and he caught a glance of your figure walking past.
"Y/n!" He shouts, catching your attention. You roll your eyes as soon as you see him.
"What, Darry?" You say, standing still in the middle of the sidewalk. "I thought you wanted nothing to do with me, huh?"
"Look, y/n, please can I just talk to you," he says. "Give me five minutes."
"Five minutes. Max."
He takes a deep breath, looks down at his feet, and begins. "Look, y/n, I've been a real dickhead."
You nod. "Good start."
"I just want you to know that I never meant anything that I said to you. I was going through a lot of stress, you know how I get. I'm so beyond sorry. What is it gonna take for you to have me back?"
You chuckle and look up into his eyes, those eyes you had missed so much. "Oh, Darry," you say. "You don't need to beg for me back. I'll always be yours."
You pull him into a kiss, your arms around his neck and his around your waist.
"I love you."
SODAPOP would be running back to you the literal next day. He would sleep on what he had said and accused you of and immediately regret it in the morning. He would race out of bed, throw a comb through his hair and put whatever shoes he could pick up first on his feet before sprinting to your place.
He would bang at your window, most probably waking you up as it was about 8am on a Sunday and there was no way in hell you'd be up before 10.
"Soda? What the hell are you doing here?" You ask, anger layered in your voice.
"Y/n, I'm so sorry," he says, tears rolling down his face. It killed you to see him like this. "Please forgive me. I know what I did was wrong and I'm so sorry that i fucked things up but please baby I need you to realise that I was just beating myself up for no reason. I would never think of you as a cheater I just-"
You needed to cut off his rambling. Soda, stop. Just get in here before you freeze to death."
PONYBOY doesn't even feel any form of regret until a good couple of moths later, the pressure of school had worn off and he was exposed to the harsh reality of what he had done. Of course, it's typical of a man to only realise what they have lost months too late but it was worth a shot. Within an hour, Ponyboy was stood at your door with a bunch of flowers, a personalised poem he had written just for you, and all of your favourite chocolates.
"Ponyboy, what are you-"
He cuts you off. "Y/n please don't say anything until I'm done. If you're gonna kick me off your porch, please just wait until I'm finished."
You nod and he begins to read out his poem, causing tears to gather in your eyes and roll down your cheeks. Just like they had been doing for the past 73 days. He hands you a bunch of your favourite flowers halfway through his speech and continues, capturing your heart in a moment you shall never forget. How could you not forgive him after this?
DALLAS would take forever to even think of apologising to you and that's purely because of his bad boy ego he has going on. Like, what do you mean apologise? Do you know who he is? However, after about four months, Dallas finds a picture of the two of you from when you were together. You were sat beside him at the drive in, your legs laid over his and you had the largest beaming smile he had ever seen. God, he missed your smile. It was that moment where he realised he had thrown everything away.
And that's how you ended up in this moment, a beaten up and bloody Dallas Winston stood at your doorstep, begging for you to forgive him.
"please, y/n, I need you back," he says, spitting blood from between his lips. "I need you to say that everything is okay."
You weren't going to give in. Not until he said it.
"Please," he says, looking at you with such desperation in his eyes. Those eyes you had come to love endlessly.
He needed to say it. He still hadn't said it. Please, say it, Dallas, you thought.
"I'm sorry."
Without hesitation, you grabbed his face and pressed your lips against his; his arms finding their way around your waist, pulling you close. He had finally got you back.
JOHNNY would be exactly like Sodapop, realising he made a huge mistake immediately after he made it. However, due to his home life and lack of confidence in any scenario, Johnny would have no clue how to apologise or even approach you. Because of this, he asks Dallas, his best buddy, for help. Why on Earth you would ask Dallas Winston for relationship advice is anyone's guess, but he did it either way.
Surprisingly enough, Johnny's effort was very much appreciated by Dallas and he genuinely helped him develop a plan that wasn't completely offensive. Johnny obviously recognised and cut out the parts that were. And so, he knocked at your bedroom window after climbing up the gutter, and you welcomed him in, your eyes still sore from all of the crying you had done.
"Johnny? Why are you here?" You ask, sitting him down on your bed and pacing around your room, not knowing how to feel about the situation. Relieved? Happy? Angry?
"I missed you," he says. "and I'm sorry."
STEVE would spend weeks upon weeks mulling over the fact that he had not only ended things with you, but ended them over the phone. He didn't get to hug you one last time. He didn't get to kiss you goodbye. He didn't even see your face when he had told you that it was over. He didn't have to see the hurt - he heard it. He could hear your heart sink to your stomach; he could hear the tears spill down your cheeks, your sweet rosy cheeks; he could feel the anger running through your blood. He hated himself for it. So much so that he was pushing everyone away as punishment to himself, even Soda.
Fortunately, Soda had had enough of Steve being so depressed about what he had done that he went to fetch you himself. You were minding your own business in your bedroom when your mother came to tell you that someone was at the door for you. Expecting it to be one of your girlfriends, you ran to the door to greet her but when you were faced with Sodapop Curtis, your smile dropped.
"Oh, hey Soda," you say, coldly.
"Y/n, I know you want nothing to do with Steve anymore but-"
"No." You say. "I don't care what you have to say. That asshole deserves whatever is coming to him."
"Pleaser, y/n." Soda begs. "Just talk to him for five minutes."
And that's how you ended up sat on the Curtis's couch, alone in the living room with none other than Steve Randle. Obviously, all of the boys were listening at the door.
"Y/n, I've been such a fool," Steve begins, making you chuckle.
"You can say that again."
"I've missed you so much," he admits. "And I am so sorry for what I did to you. I know you can't possibly forgive me straight away but I'm begging you - give me one month to prove myself to you. Just one month, that's all I ask."
You sigh, look down at your hands and then back up at him. "Fine. One month."
You knew whatever he had planned was going to bring you right back. And that is why you said yes.
TWOBIT would win you back almost instantly. He was just the kind of person that you couldn't stay mad at. No matter how badly he had hurt you, the second he knocked on your car window at the drive-in, you knew you were screwed.
"I've noticed you avoiding me, you know?" He says, cocking his head to the side, looking around your car to see you're alone.
"Well done, Columbo," you say. "Do you want a gold star?"
He nods. "Yeah, that would actually be pretty beneficial."
You hated him. (You really didn't).
"Are you gonna let me in or what?" He asks. "I hope you know I'm not gonna leave until you let me in."
You looked at him in disbelief. "Are you crazy?"
He gives you a look as if to say 'Did you really just ask me that?'. He sighs. "Please just let me in."
You unlock the door and allow him to sit in the passenger seat beside you. You had never heard a silence so deafening.
"I'm sorry," he says. "You that I'm sorry."
It's true, you did know, because every time you saw him on the streets he would look at you with his pleading, begging eyes that you love so much.
"I know," you reply. "But how do I know you won't hurt me again."
I promise you with every inch of my being that I will never fuck you over," he says, grabbing your hand and looking into your eyes. "Please."

i loved ur hc about breaking up with the gang! could you do the gang breaking up with reader?
The Gang Breaking Up with Reader
DARRY would have the simple excuse of not having enough time for you due to his busy work schedule and taking care of his brothers in the small amount of spare time he had at the end or beginning of each day. You had tried to convince him that you didn't care that the only time you got to spend together was in bed after a long day, but he wasn't having any of it.
"I'm sorry," he says. "I really am. I don't want to do this but it's only fair."
"Darry, how often do I have to tell you that I don't care about you not being here all the time? I enjoy the time we have together already and I know that you're busy and stressed but that's okay. I love you. Please don't do this to me."
"I'm sorry," he repeats, turning to look away from you. "I'm heading off to work in five minutes. I want you out of here before I get back."
SODAPOP would hate to have to break up with you but he feels like it's the right thing to do. It's definitely due to his lack of self-confidence in a relationship since he found out about Sandy cheating on him and moving away. Don't get me wrong, he's confident in his looks and everything but when it comes to relationships, he tends to beat himself up about every tiny detail.
"Y/n, I gotta tell you something," he says, his voice quieter than usual as he stands at your front door.
"Yeah? What's wrong baby?" You ask, confused as to why he was at your house when you were supposed to be at his place in less than an hour.
"Please don't call me that. It'll only make this harder."
You were really confused now. "Huh? Soda what are you talking about?"
"I can't do this anymore." He says, straightforward as ever.
"What?" You ask, tears welling up in your eyes. "Why? What are you doing? Did I do something wrong?"
"I don't know. I don't know if you did something wrong. Tell me if you did won't you?"
"Soda, you sound crazy right now," you say. "Talk to me, don't do this."
"I can't. I just can't How do I know you aren't two-timing me, huh?"
You were shocked at what he just said to you; appalled even. "You think I'd do that to you? You really think that low of me?"
He stays silent. You nod, close your eyes tightly and when you open them again, a single tear rolls down your cheek.
"Stay there," you say, walking away from the door and leaving him standing there for about 5 minutes, wondering if you were ever going to come back.
You dump all of the shirts and jackets and little crafts he'd given you in front of him on your patio and throw a plastic bag at him afterwards.
"I can't believe you think I'd do that," you said. "So much for trust."
PONYBOY was nervous when he realised he wanted to focus more on school than on his relationship. He didn't want to disappoint Darry with his grades dropping since he was with you. He felt as though you held a restriction against him from succeeding even though he knew you weren't in his heart.
"Y/n," he says to you as you're walking him home.
"Yeah?" You ask, turning your head to look at him.
"I- um. I have something to say but I know you won't like it."
"What is it?" You ask. "You can tell me anything, I promise I won't get mad."
"I want to break up." He says, bluntly.
"What?" You ask, stopping dead in your tracks, his house is only a few hundred yards away.
"I need to focus on my schoolwork and you're not letting me do that," he explains, angering you more and more by the second.
"What do you mean I'm not letting you do that? Pony, all we ever do Is read and study whenever we're over at each other's houses," you reply. "And the one day a week where we aren't studying, we spend some time together and out with the gang. Just like everybody else on a Saturday."
"Just respect my decision," he says.
"Respect? Why should I?" You ask, getting angrier by the minute. "You want me to respect you breaking up with me for pretty much no reason because the one you 're giving me makes no sense."
"Just go home," he snaps before turning around and walking away, leaving you standing there, tears rolling down your face.
DALLAS would break up with you right after he gets out of the cooler. He had convinced himself you were cheating on him with Sodapop, similar to Sylvia. You had gone over to Buck's the second you had found out he was free again and walked in with a huge smile beaming across your face. However, when you opened the door, Buck gave you the dirtiest look he could before mumbling something under his breath and watching you walk past him and up the stairs. Weird.
"Hey, Dal!" You exclaim, opening the door and jumping onto his, wrapping your arms around him. "I missed you."
Usually, he would hug you back and kiss you on the head, telling you how much he had missed you too; even when he was only in there for a couple of nights. This time, he shoves you away from him, anger displayed across his face.
"Dal?" You ask, confused. "What's wrong? Did something happen while you were in the cooler?"
"You tell me, y/n. You tell me what happened," he says, snarling at you.
"I- I don't know what you're talking about. I haven't done anything. At least, I don't think I have," you say, trying to think if you had done anything wrong in the three weeks he had been gone.
"Don't pull that shit!" He yells, scaring you and making you jump a little. "I know what you did, you little whore! I know you fucked him!"
What the fuck was this guy talking about. "What!? I didn't fuck anybody! I haven't had sex since a few nights before you got done in, and that was with you."
"Oh, bullshit!"
"Who did I fuck then, huh? Who are you convinced that I slept with?" You ask, yelling in his face, hurt in your eyes.
"Soda."
You almost laugh in his face but remember that probably would be the smartest thing to do.
"Seriously? Soda?" You say. "You really think I would do something like that? How could you?"
"How could I?" He yells. "How could you! You fucked my friend!"
You shook your head and scoffed. "I don't know why I bother. You're clearly not listening to me and you don't want to believe me. Ask Soda about it and then you'll see that I have not laid a finger on him."
JOHNNY breaks up with you after weeks of weighing up the pros and cons. He felt that you were too good for him and someone with a life as messed up as his doesn't deserve someone as perfect and as gorgeous as you.
"Johnny?" You ask, seeing a figure lying on the concrete in the lot as you're walking home late from the drive-in. "Is that you?"
"Y/n," he says. "I'm sorry."
"Why are you sorry?" You smile, helping him up onto a bench, sitting beside him and holding his hand. "You have no reason to apologise."
"I do, though," he says, hesitating before continuing. "I can't keep doing this."
"What do you mean?" You ask, worry clouding your eyes.
"I can't keep doing this. I'm constantly embarrassing you when we're out together; I can tell that people make fun of you for dating me. I'm nowhere near good enough for you. I can't sit here and watch you waste your life away for someone like me. You deserve some rich, fancy soc like Randy or Bob."
"Johnny, what the hell are you talking about?" You say, letting go of his hand. "I love you more than anything. I don't care what anybody else thinks and if you think that I should then why? Why should I care? if they saw you the way that I do then they'd all understand."
"I've made up my mind," he says, not bothering to look you in the eyes as he gets up, his back facing you. "And there's nothing you can say to change it."
With that, he walks away, leaving you sat on the bench with hot tears streaming down your cheeks, leaving red lines on the skin. Cold. Lonely. And confused.
STEVE has some trouble with girls. He always ends up saying the wrong thing and, similar to Johnny, he feels that you are way too good for him to treat you the way that he knows he eventually will. He knows damn well that one day, you'll get sick of him being a dick and leave him anyway, just like everyone else. So why bother waiting until then when he could just end it right now?
The phone rings. "Hello?" You say, picking it up after a couple of dials.
"Hey, babydoll," Steve says, his voice making you smile.
"Hi, handsome," you reply. "What can I do for ya?"
"I have to talk to you about something," he says. "But I want you to hear me out first."
"O...kay?" You say, confused about what is about to happen. "Am I in trouble?"
"No," he chuckles. "But I know I will be soon."
Your smile drops. What is he doing?
"Firstly, I want to tell you how much I love you. I think you are the most amazing woman I have ever met and I want you to know that this is not your fault and I have loved every moment with you." He says, making a tear form in your eye. You know what he's doing.
"Steve," you whisper.
He never shows his emotions like this. the most he's ever said to you is that he loves you and thinks that you're the most gorgeous broad he's ever seen. He has never admitted his feelings this extremely before.
"I can't let you be with me anymore. I don't want to be a part of your life anymore. I know I'll just ruin it. I'll be over tomorrow morning to pick up my stuff. I love you, y/n."
He hangs up. You hold the phone to your ear and drown in the continuous beep of the ending line. You had never been so hurt in your life.
TWOBIT breaks up with you because he finds someone else. I know this makes him out to be a bad person but I feel like he has so much love for you but when he meets this other girl, he knows that if he loved you as much as he thought he did, she wouldn't have sparked so much interest.
"Two," you say, looking up at him. "Who's Kathy?"
He lowers his head, looking at his hands in his lap. "Shit, baby."
"Just tell me," you say, a tear falling onto your cheek.
"She's a girl I met a few weeks ago," he admits. "I bumped into her at the dingo while I was waiting for you and the gang and I realised that I liked her. I'm so sorry"
"Do you love her?" You ask.
"What?" He says, looking at you with watering eyes himself.
"You heard me," you say. "Do you love her, Kieth?"
You only ever called him Kieth when you were upset or angry. Right now, you were both.
He nods, "I think so."
You say nothing and stand up, picking up your bag, putting your shoes on and taking one last look at him. One last look at the man you thought you would spend the rest of your life with. The man who had made you so much happier in the three years of dating you had been through.
And you leave. Never to speak to him or your friends, the gang, ever again.
