Van Gogh paintings that I associate with Tokyo revengers characters and why (pt.4)

HANMA - Tree roots

- We have already ascertained that Hanma doesn't like conventional and boring things (his friendship with Kisaki is the proof !!).

- Can we call the painting itself strange? but not in a negative sense, quite that opposite.

- In general, we understand what is represented in the painting (tree and roots) but the vision is "distorted", with colors that we do not expect, for example, the trees themselves are blue- or even the same proportions are not too normal.

- Hanma represents a character pretty "common"(?), but at the same time, he has something that makes him interesting (?). This is something that, in my opinion, both the painting and the boy have in common. ;)

- Another little curiosity, the painter painted this picture on the day of his suicide, and I think Hanma would find it interesting and would be curious to understand its meaning more fully.

SANZU - Road with Cypress and star

- The presence of the sky with the sun and the moon, with two elements so contrasting but present in the same painting reminded me of Sanzu.

- As much as he has repeated his complete devotion to the "king" over and over again, it's as if he has two very different sides to his character.

- The moon, in the moments in which he manages to maintain an unnatural calm, thus managing to deceive people, and then the sun, the moments when everything is more lively in which he himself has moments of "madness"(?).

- The cypress in the center of the photo reminds me of Sanzu himself, who somehow keeps these characteristics balanced.

- there's other 2 painting similar to this that I associate with his siblings<3

YUZUHA - Seascape near Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer

- The colors of the landscape are defined by the author himself as "iridescent", ie it changes hue depending on the position of the light, which is why Van Gogh tries to put different colors within the painting.

- Yuzuha has an almost "iridescent" definable character, I mean she changes according to who she is in front of her, she was brave when she was served, she trusted some people, and she knew when she could rest.

- maybe it is a trivial thing, but in the photo, there are 3 boats, like the three brothers, she in the foreground, not far from Hakkai, her brother who has always remained beside her :)) and in the end Taiju the brother she feared...

- The image in general has something that brings a kind of calm, which often manages to maintain despite everything. Despite that, there seems to be a big storm in that sea, and in fact, she has never really had an "easy" life

S/O who stutters

Characters: Draken, Mitsuya, Ran, Chifuyu, Wakasa

Draken

He will laugh sometimes, like cute teasing and mimic you.

He’s the type to play with it too, like he WILL make you stutter even more than you already do.

Like, towering over you and asking you anything with a sweet ass voice that makes you melt. You just can’t find your words when he does, and that makes him smile so much.

He can’t help it. He thinks you’re adorable when you’re looking for your words.

However he will never let anyone make fun of you for this. The first one – beside Mikey – got punched in the face the second they said anything.

He helps you work on it ! Not that he wants you to change, he just wants to try to make your life a little easier. 

Mitsuya

He never, ever, said anything about it. To you or others, and if people mention it he’s like “yes, and ?”

He’s respectful and I can not physically take it. He would always be so understanding and let you take your time or talk for you if you're getting frustrated. 

He will make sure that nobody talks over you when you struggle and that you get to talk too.

But can also look at you dead in the eyes with a little smile and you “well ? What were you about to say ?” knowing damn well that your brain doesn’t work well when he’s like this.

Him touching you can go both ways : making you more comfortable and dealing with the stutter or making things worse.

He thinks he's helping you when sometimes not at all ! But you still appreciate it. 

Tells you to breath all the time lol

Ran

Ran would tease the shit out of you when he doesn't even mind. 

At first he was just there like "oh they stutter a lot" and then decided to make it his personal duty to tease you.

“Aww you can’t talk around me ?” this motherfcker really thinks he’s special at first, then realizes that it’s not the case and just doesn't mind it ever again ? My opinion on him changed sm it’s insane

But still tease because it’s funny and so he can keep talking with you.

He's careful about it tho, like he doesn't want you to be insecure about something you can't even control.

I think he would remind you a lot that there's no problem with that and that you can always take your time. 

Also remind you that he's just joking around, and that in fact he doesn't care at all.

And if he ever does, he’s really sorry – you can feel he feels bad about it.

Why do I see him so respectful now when he’s a bastard –

Chifuyu

He will help you find your words when you talk to someone else, and when it’s just the two of you he lets you take your time. 

He's the best listener and, okay maybe he pointed it out at first, but now he's just so natural with you that you don't mind.

Most of the time it is worse when you’re stressed, and so he tries to cool you down. He's there "whoa whoa" *insert woo youngwoo*

I can see him nodding seriously, eyes close and arms crossed - a proud dad approving - when you make it without stuttering too much. 

He's overly cute about it. Like he talks for you when you have an order and that means he knows it by heart (he does even without that honestly). 

Another one who’s ready to fight anyone who makes fun of you and mimics you in a mean way. He’s too old for this bullshit. Let’s never forget that this boy has anger issues.

I think he wouldn’t play with it, it’s just a part of his life that even get him rolled his eyes sometimes but not in a bad way, it’s like a “shit, here we go again *place your order for you*"

Wakasa

You two probably know each other for a long time and he just got used to it by time but it still makes him sigh sometimes.

Push you to talk instead of you because people sometimes just can’t get a sentence - but only when it's for important things. 

If it's something you have to do by yourself, he will just come with you and be the best emotional support possible regarding the energy he has that day. 

He’s probably done with you and Shin because for some reason, when you two talk together, Shin starts to stutter a lot too.

Honestly he doesn't know why people make a big deal of it, it just happens and they shouldn't really pay attention to it. 

He thinks that but still helps you whenever you need it. 

This guy is either supportive or he doesn't give a shit about this, he can be hard to get. But I still think he's the best friend/bf when it comes to this.

He probably helps you work on it when it's just the two of you because he knows it bothers you and wants the best for you.
