On Love and Onigiri m. 20.5k. atsumu is a bestselling author and sakusa is a book critic who has never given his works 5 stars. atsumu is determined to change that. you'll also have to pry the trope of trying to impress your love interest from my cold, dead hands. i'll eat it up every time.

draw the line, and i'm losing my mind t. 26.1k. sakusa has his memory of atsumu wiped and atsumu, in petty revenge, does the same. this broke my heart and reduced me to my knees. it's angst with a hopeful ending, just in case you can't handle angst without a good ending.

A Second Chance e. 76.5k. 15/15. after breaking things off with bokuto four years ago, akaashi reconnects with him after he has to interview him after his match. imagine: mutual pining. hurt/comfort. angst. spice. mixed altogether with slowburn and you get this. an amazing read.

daybreak g. kagehina. 6k. kageyama study in the years between high school and when hinata returns from brazil. beautiful prose and feelings realization.

Infinite is Where We Live m. kuroken. 20.3k. glimpses of kuroo and kenma growing up together and all the ways kuroo is there for kenma, until it's kenma's turn to be there for him. you'd think kenma would be the anxious one but it's kuroo in this fic and wow, it's done beautifully.

A Split-Second of Violence g. hinata and karasuno-centric. 122.3k. 38/38. WOW. WAY TO BREAK MY HEART. the incident literally takes a split second and becomes a monster of friendship, hurt/comfort, and trauma. i hugged my hinata plush every night while reading this. we love and respect the karasuno family in this house.

How do the tokyo revengers boys act around their crush????

Not counting the guys who've seen around a crush, this is how I think they would act!

Mikey- Tries to get your attention a lot and insists you come and hang out or "play" with him. He wants your attention on him and will do whatever he can to get that. Will pout if you ignore him too much and complain to Draken. 

Baji- He plays it cool, pretends that he isn't romantically interested and instead tries to see you as a friend. Still keeps you close to him but tries not to act on any feelings (at least not without a push).

Chifuyu- Blushing sm whenever you're around, almost drives himself crazy with how much he thinks about you. Reads his manga for advice and even asks Baji despite Baji having 0 experience with this himself. 

Mitsuya- Focuses more of his attention on you. He tries to get to know you more and spends more time with you. He's just a lot more interested in you.

Hakkai- Not only can he not talk to you but he can barely be in the same room as you, leaves very quickly if you approach. He admires you from afar until he works up the courage to say something. 

Smiley- Hangs out around you more often and basically becomes your guard dog, threatening anyone who seems like they'll cause you trouble. He hasn't really figured out how to talk to you properly yet so he tries to let his actions show how much he cares instead. Tries hard to not blush around you.

Angry- Starts off very slow with just saying hi to you everytime he sees you, then starts asking how you are and tries to engage you in further chats. He's caring to everyone but seems to give you extra attention. 

Mucho- He observes you a lot for awhile, trying to figure out his own feelings and what he really wants. He's a pretty straight forward guy though so when he's ready he'll approach you and ask if you want to accompany him to a cafe at some point. 

Sanzu- He also observes you but in a different way, he wants to know everything about you before he makes his move. Also has a habit of leaving gifts for you in your post box. Also wants to make sure you're safe and no one messes with what he finds precious. 

Naoto- Always does little things for you to show his crush, like getting you an extra bottle of water after he buys one and helping you with whatever you need.

Hanma- He finds it very amusing that he even has a crush. He actually kinda tries to scare you away, well not scare you exactly, more like he shows you his more extreme side as a test. He figures you might as well see the real him now before anything happens between the two of you (his way of avoiding you breaking his heart if you change your mind). He's serious about his feelings when they're this strong. Once you get that over point though then he's constantly teasing you and casually touches you a lot.

Kazutora- Worries a lot about this and actually tries to avoid you to get rid of the crush. He hasn't exactly had a lot of healthy examples of relationships in his life so this concerns him a bit, thinks you're too good for someone like him. However the feelings are too strong so he does eventually confess, he figures you can turn him down then you'll all be done. He'd be pretty surprised if you actually said yes though. 

Inui- Finds the crush to be troublesome. He straight up asks you out on a date, so the two of you can go out and he can realise he doesn't actually like you (he's in a lot of denial)

Taiju- He has 0 doubts about you wanting to date him or at least that's what he tells himself. Is a bit unsure deep down though. He tries to make himself look better to you.

Izana- Also wants your attention to only be on him, he sees you as being his so you should focus on him. Actually gets a little flustered when you do focus on him and praise him though. He likes it but freezes up a little since he's not used to it.

Kakucho- Tries to do small acts of kindess for you, he wants you to trust him and love him too. He's just so caring and gentle towards you, always offering you soft smiles.

Ran- Straight up flirts with you, he kinda makes it hard for you to know if he's being serious or not though. He hides behind his wit and charisma. Touches you casually a lot too, thinking nothing of getting close to you. 

Rindou- Is a lot more unsure then Ran, he tries to flirt with you too but frequently gets too flustered or accidentally messes up his lines. It kinda works in his favour though since it feels a lot more genuine. 

Mochi- Shares a lot of things with you, both verbally and physically. He tells you a lot about himself and asks you a lot of questions. And is always sharing food and drinks with you (blushes slightly at every indirect kiss)

Shion- Follows you around like a lost puppy, he tries to make you laugh a lot too by telling jokes. Will sometimes boast about himself as a way to impress you. 

South- Is more gentle with you then anyone else, always asks you about your day and how things are going. He really want to sing or play the piano for you but hasn't quite gotten the words out to ask you yet.

Wakasa- Always wants to hang out with you and will conveniently "forget" to invite the others so it ends up being just the two of you. Will also lean on you a lot or casually lay his head in your lap for a nap. He wants to be close to you even if he hasn't gotten around to confessing yet.

Benkei- Always complimenting you even when you're not around, all his friends know how much he likes you because of how much he talks about you. 

Shinichiro- He uses so many cheesy pick up lines on you, he found a big book of them and is convinced he can win you over with them. He also invites to the shop a lot to hang out (and as a way to impress you with his bike skills).

Sanzu Haruchiyo:

Sanzu is quite a picky at choosing his lover, he wants, no, he needs someone who similar to mikey. If Mikey his king, you either his queen/monarch or someone he tolerates.

The only reason he dates you at first mostly because of amusement, just some pawn for him to play. He accepts your confession because he thought you are easy to manipulate and he need it to stay out of police ranges because, well, mucho.

And boy he thinks he hit the jackpot because you are the most loyal and dumbest pawn he ever sees, you agree with everything he said, go along with everything he does, hell, you even turn your eyes away from the crimes he does.

At first, he thought that he keeps you around because you are a perfect alibi to use but slowly, he starts falling in love with you. like deeply in love, his amusement turns into obsession, from pawn to his new king/queen/monarch.

He now become extremely loyal to you, he become nicer and touchier, and do everything that you want. He will kill anyone who dare looking at you or has slight interest on you. He already claims you and there's no way he going to let you go.

But he never expects that one day you present him the head of the girl who insult his scars. Smiling proudly as you hold the head, a crazed look on your eyes that rival, no, more than him.

He now realizes that from the start you date him not because you found him interesting, no, you worship him more than he worships you. If he thinks of you as king/queen/monarch, you see him as a god.

You been killing all the people around him without even leaving a single trace or suspicion. You take care of his problem before he even knows about it, you make a shrine of him, you have a room with his pictures, you memorize his schedule, you know where he goes because you already put a chip on the mask he always wears.

Sanzu has mixed feeling about this, but he knows one thing, he f*cking love you.

Hanma Shuji:

For Hanma, you are just some random kid who always stalking him. Following him everywhere he goes and secretly take his picture, he thought that you were some gang informants or something, so he let you follow him around.

He thinks it's cute and adorable that you think he didn't know you follow him, the way you try to hide around the corner or act dumb. It's flattering that someone give him this much attention, and honestly, he starts catching feeling. Just a bit. Okay, like a bit too much.

When you not around following him, Hanma can't help but feel jealous and angry that you not there to pay attention to him. But if you appear again next day, his mood brightens that even kisaki weird out by it.

He became obsesses with you to the point he follows you back home, before you can close the door, he appears behind you and force himself inside your house. Telling you that next time you can just talk to him as he walks in, but his words die on his tongue when he sees that your whole house filled with his pictures.

There is a shrine with his picture and the things he throws away, hell, even the shirt with blood. He then sees that there's wall full of his past enemies that mysteriously disappear after losing a fight with him. All of them are now dead.

Oh, oh~ if he like you before he loves you now. He realizes that you are perfect for him. Someone who worship him to the point that you willing to be his slave. To do everything he order you. Surely you won't mind if he stays here, right? After all, why bother take a picture when you have the real one in front of you~

Haitani Ran:

You are Rindou friend who somehow always following the younger haitani around. Rindou sometime bring you back to home to hang out with, so ran thought that you are his brother side chick or something. Turn out you and Rindou are really good friend, you two meets when you stay at his side when he blacks out from drinking too much and you two just click from there.

Ran don't really care as long you didn't hurt his brother but his opinion on you changes when you buy him favorite Mont Blanc from expensive bakery in Tokyo. "They our friend now, rin." Ran say as he munches on the dessert.

Day by day, Ran start getting interest on you. You like the perfect friend, you know when to come so you didn't disturb his sleep, not making too much noise, buy him food every time you visit. He starts thinking, is this how it feels having a lover? He slowly getting obsesses with how you treat him and start falling in love with you and now he the one follow you around that even Rindou can't hang around with you without Ran sitting in the middle.

Luckily Rindou know that his brother smitten with you, so he uses this chance to leave you with his brother while he goes out drinking. So, like now every time you come to their house, rindou leave you with Ran. This becomes routine, heck, Ran even drag you with him to his room for a nap every time he feels like it, treating you like his personal teddy bear. So, you guys like, dating now? Yup, dating.

Usually, he will get creep out with this thing but it's you, the one he obsessed with. If anything, he feels flatter and proud that you love him to this point.

So next day you visit him, he told you how he loves you more now and want to stay with you forever.

Kakucho:

You, Takemichi and him are childhood friend. Well, more like he like you and Takemichi is wingman since he lives near you. Before he got in accident, he plans on telling you his feeling, but he lost contact with you after he is sent to orphanage. He thought that like Takemichi you forgot about him too, so he often stays away from you after finding out that you still live in the same house.

The only reason he finally sees you are because Izana getting annoyed of him disappear every day just to stalk you from far, so taking a lead he kicks Kakucho toward you when you walk down the road. Imagine how happy he is when you call out his name in surprise when you see him, you didn't forget about him even after he got a scar on his face.

Izana who wants the best for his servant allow him to take one month off from Tenjiku so he can spend time with you. And boy, he uses those days off wisely. Catching up with you, taking you out and make sure that he stays close to you, so you won't leave him again.

What make him happier that you confess to him, that you too like him since you two a kid. So now you two dating, and boy, he become more clingier to the point he drags you around even in Tenjiku meeting which Izana kick him.

One day you told him that you have business outside Tokyo, and it take a week for you to return. So Kakucho drag Izana to your house with excuse that someone might break in and that someone is him. He just wants your shirt because he misses you.

Imagine Izana and Kakucho reaction when he sees that your room are filled with pictures of him. Pictures of him and you, torn up pictures of him with what seem like Takemichi, pictures of him at orphanage, pictures of him with Izana. Turn out you been stalking him since forever, you also manage to find the orphanage he in and stalk him there.

Izana found a list of Tenjiku enemies on your wall, half of marked dead and half being torture. If Izana didn't approve you two reaction he is now. Which make Kakucho happy because his king approve his lover.

When he was sitting at the table, on the terrace where you are, and you sent him a message to come in front of the bathroom, he already knew what happened. It was the first time you were on your period since you were a couple, but it wasn't stupid. He knew what it was about.

He leaves the money on the table, takes your things and his, and comes to the bathroom, where he hears you crying.

-Kitten...everything is fine, what is happening is normal. Get out of the bathroom, okay? if your skirt is stained, I'll give you my shirt, I'll leave you at home and I'll go buy you what you need.

After a few more minutes of him trying to calm you down by talking to you through the bathroom door, you came out crying. Rindo, as soon as you came out of the bathroom, he took off his black shirt, leaving only his tank top, and tied his shirt around your waist, covering the red stain on your blue dress.

You leave the restaurant where you are and get into his car, heading towards your house, where you get out of the car and he starts to buy whatever you need.

Chaos Dragon: Sekiryuu Seneki, by Urobuchi, Nasu, the Durarara guy, one of Kamen Rider Blade’s two writers Shou Aikawa, and two of their friends. It’s a TTRPG adventure! where they each play only one character! God, I NEED to see a show where Gen Urobuchi writes ONLY ONE character! Ultimately it’s a story about a small kingdom’s king trying to stop two larger countries from destroying his smaller one, which feels interesting bc it’s rare to get any TTRPG campaign where there is A Protagonist...

Girls’ Last Tour, source material by the shimeji simulation author, Tsukumizu. Cozy adventures through an apocalyptic dying world. I don’t do well with apocalyptic settings, but I love Shimeji Simulation a lot and I’ve heard so many good things about this one that I wanna give it a shot.

Mermaid Forest, by Rumiko Takahashi, of Ranma 1/2 and Urusei Yatsura. Two immortals who ate mermaids travel to find another mermaid in the hopes they can make them mortal once more. One of those classic kinda tales, and I really wanna see a rumic story that’s.....not 150 eps long...

Magical☆Shopping Arcade Abenobashi BY Hideaki Anno, of Shin Kamen Rider, Shin Godzilla, and Shin Ultraman. What if you were isekaied but it was just into a mall. A wacky hyperdimensional mall. The tone seems extremely lolrandomxd, and it’s one of Anno’s few 12 ep works.

RErideD: Derrida, who leaps through time, character designs by Yoshitoshi ABe of serial experiments lain and Haibane Renmei fame. Guy who made robots gets frozen and wakes up to a robot war, oh fuck. Oh fuck, he’s supposed to protect his best friend’s daughter! AAAAAAAA! Disaster!!! I’m not sure whether he leaps through time any more than once. though.

Katanagatari, by NISIOISIN, creator of Bakemonogatari and Medaka Box. What if a swordless swordsman teamed up with an ambitious shogunate villainess to fulfill her scheme of stealing 12 legendary swords. One of them quality straights kinda shows NisioisiN loves making, seems to have a fun power system that I wanna experience. One of the ones I’ve seen around on tumblr that made me wanna get into liveblogging.

Kino’s Journey, scripted by Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 and Perfect Blue writer Murai Sadayuki, a writer I really think deserves more credit. Does crazy good work in adaptations. Nonbinary adventurer and talking bike go through different parables, functioning as observers of different forms of society and different ways of life.

Hi, I’ve been seeing windbreaker stuff on my dash for a bit now. Would you mind telling me about it?

Hello dear Follower and THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME THE CHANCE TO INFO DUMP ABOUT MY NEWEST OBSESSION!

Wind Breaker (Stylised all capitals) is a manga by Satoru Nii, who has written one series before: Danshi Badminton-bu ni Joshi ga Magireteru: Secret Badminton Club, a sports comedy I haven't read so I can't say anything about it. Nii-sensei is a big fan of Tokyo Revengers, a delinquant anime I also haven't watched, but Wind Breaker has been compared to it a bunch because they share a genre.

The manga recently got adapted by studio CloverWorks, who adapted The Promised Neverland, Spy X Family and Black Butler: Public School Arc. The soundtrack was done by one Ryo Takahashi and it is beautiful!

The anime follows the adventures of one Haruka Sakura, who's been bullied in a normal every day Japan his entire life for his completely natural protagonisty looks. As such, he decided the only reasonable response was to become a badass delinquant who don't need no friends to become the King of Furin High School, the country's most famous delinquant high school where fights happen every day and the local area is terrorised all the time.

Except when Sakura arrives, he ends up helping out Tachibana Kotoha when some guys were harassing her and when she thanks him for saving her from these thugs, he does this:

"It's not like I saved you or anything! I just couldn't stand that guy!"

And I have been fucking obsessed with this little Tsundere ever since.

So is everyone else in the town of Makochi, because it turns out that the students of Furin High School have been united under the banner of one Umemiya Hajime.

Umemiya got them all to protect the town from the rival gangs and teams, allowing Makochi to have some peaceful days so every time we see some random extra, they're almost always showering the Furin kids in free food and praise.

And our beloved, adorable Sakura, has almost certainly never been treated with any kindness, so it's beautiful watching how he reacts.

Of course, just because the town is peaceful, doesn't mean there aren't problems. There's no police so, Furin have to protect the town from violent gangs, like:

Shishitoren, the Devotees of Power

KEEL, the bastards who rule with an iron fist of fear

And every random unnamed small gang of mooks who pop up when things get too chill.

Luckily for us, we've got plenty of interesting characters in Bofurin to help Sakura get socialised like the feral kitten that he is and to fight the bad guys!

We've got Nirei Akihiko, the weak but clever guy who knows everything about everyone and has a pretty strong backbone, all things considered. (He is not a new Zenitsu, stop comparing the two)

We've got Suo Hayato, the fan favourite who introduced himself as being "Leonardo Dicpario" and then spent his entire first fight in the anime psycholocally analysing and torturing his opponant.

We've got Sugishita Kyotaro, the silent but zealous Umemiya fanboy who hates Sakura because he still wants to become Top Of The School.

We've got Hiragi Toma, the ever exhausted Dad leader of the Tamon Team and one of Umemiya's 4 Kings, his direct advisors and helpers.

We've got Umemiya Hajime himself, the goofy third year leader of Furin High School who has proclaimed himself everyone's Big Brother and sees everyone in Makochi as part of his family because of his Tragic Backstory.

Plus loads more I do not have the time to get into.

The anime is soooo fun, full of really funny scenes, but also really heart warming ones. It's all about building and being active in your community to make things better for those around you, listening to the people around you to understand them, how to be a good leader and when to stand your ground and when to let others help you.

The manga also has some very strong themes about being yourself around Haruka and an extremely Queer Manga only character who has cameoed in the anime, but hasn't made a proper introduction yet. Tsubakino "Tsubaki-chan" Tasuku.

I won't spoil things too much, but Furin is an All Boy's School and Tsubaki-chan has a very strong personal arc about their clothing choices, hair choices and their feelings for Umemiya. And it's all handled very kindly and sincerely.

Season 2 has been announced for sometime next year while the Manga just hit 150 chapters. I'd highly recommend getting interested, because it very much feels like things are only just getting started for Windbreaker.

I wrote this fuyutora fic because for the life of me I can't stop thinking about how terrible the final timeline of Tokyo Revengers is. Chifuyu apparently in the last panels on Tokyo Revengers is shown to have remembered everything about the previous timeline, specifically Bonten. Thinking about this purely in the context of fuyutora: Chifuyu alone would remember Kazutora and he's entire lives together. He would remember the person Kazutora was, the person who was the most important person in the world to him, who he spent almost 12 years with. Who knows everything about him, and loves and cares for him more than anyone in the world. But that Kazutora isn't with him anymore. It's a different, slightly more shallow version of Kazutora who doesn't have those incredibly intense emotions towards Chifuyu, who wouldn't dedicate his life to him. But that would be fine if Chifuyu just told Kazutora, right? If he just helped Kazutora get back all his memories like Chifuyu had? But then Kazutora would remember the person he was, the one that killed Baji who was alive this time, who killed Shinichiro, who hurt all his friend. He'd remember the person he was the wanted to die so badly for all that time, he'd remember being that person and have to do what- face Baji who has no idea that Kazutora killed him before? Chifuyu could never tell him.

Due to Letters to Kazutora being the only way I imagine the Bonten timeline to go, this fic will heavily be related to that fic. And since I wrote it... I'm using it again. It's so long, it's only fair I get to keep using it.

A random scene form the beginning:

A day ago, October 31st, 2015, Chifuyu felt a very strange premonition to go to his mailbox and in it he received a very strange letter from Kazutora.  Till then, Chifuyu had never actually received a letter from Kazutora and he wondered why he received it now.  The envelope was especially thick like the letter was incredibly long, which was even more strange.  When he opened it, it was really, really strange full of things Chifuyu didn’t know about.    Parts of the letter were about Baji, parts of the letter were about Chifuyu.  Some of it made it seem as though Baji and Chifuyu were in love, other parts seemed as though Kazutora himself was in love with Chifuyu.  All of it was very strange, and out of the blue and it would have seemed like a prank if this didn’t feel so very very out of character for Kazutora to have done.  They were friends, certainly but their relationship only went so far.  He would say he was closer to Kazutora than most people, Kazutora knew a lot of random secrets about Chifuyu, and in reverse, Chifuyu knew a lot of Kazutora’s.  Besides Baji, he would think he was Kazutora’s best friend, they had a lot of similar interests and their personalities all though they clashed initially fit nicely together.  Kazutora normally always took Chifuyu’s side against Baji, and supported Chifuyu with whatever he wanted to do, and seemed to respect Chifuyu a lot.  But Kazutora was not in love with Chifuyu. And this was strange.   Kazutora spoke about things they’d never done together, and about his extreme feelings for Chifuyu, and about how Chifuyu should be taken care of.  Mostly, the letter seemed like Kazutora was saying goodbye to him.  But it didn’t make any sense, and when he asked Kazutora about it, he looked at Chifuyu like he had no idea what he was talking about.  Kazutora was to a fault, a bad liar, and he knew he meant it when he said he’d never written Chifuyu a letter before.  More like, the idea was kind of funny to him.  What would he need to write him a letter for?  They see each other all the time. The entire letter, and the confusing thoughts surrounding it wouldn’t make sense until the next day.  And unfortunately it would make so much sense that Chifuyu would never be able to forget it, as everything fit together and the timelines, for Chifuyu and Chifuyu alone, converged.

interview with the vampire art history lesson part 2:

Three Studies for Figures at the Base of a Crucifixion, Francis Bacon, c. 1944. Held at the Tate Britain in London. Here is its catalog listing.

So! This is the painting that has been on the wall of Louis and Armand's apartment, and that Season 2 makes a point to emphasize that they're selling. Full disclosure, modern British art history is not my forte, but I have covered this in a British art history survey class, and this is arguably one of Bacon's most famous works, so there's a lot of literature you can find on this. Let's discuss!!!

Now, one claim that you can try to make here about the relationship of this painting with Armand specifically is that Armand is now connected to two 'Christian' artworks (see my post on The Adoration of the Shepherds with a Donor here): one that marks the beginning of Christ's (semi)mortal life, and one that marks the end of it, which is definitely interesting, but the thing is with this Three Studies piece is that Francis Bacon put a lot of emphasis on the fact that this is a crucifixion, not the Crucifixion. Francis Bacon was an atheist, however, a lot of his work does revolve around either critiquing or dealing with Christianity (this is not his only work to reference/allude to or show the Crucifixion, as well as his other very famous work, Study after Velázquez's Portrait of Pope Innocent X). It was a very nuanced, complex topic for him that is way beyond the scope of this post.

Interestingly, though, Bacon has made a point to say that "faith is a fantasy" [1]----which is definitely something interesting in relation to Armand...

What Three Studies is definitely associated with, though, is World War II and Greek tragedy.

The catalog entry from the Tate spends a while discussing the process of this painting, and how Bacon may have drawn from his various experiences during World War II (he was in the ARP during the London Blitz), as well as other works made around this time (namely, Figure Getting Out of a Car and Man in a Cap) referencing various Nazi imagery that Bacon had seen impacting his process for creating this triptych. Various scholars have cited Bacon as interested in the dynamics of power and violence, and the imagery of the triptych can be interpreted as either the perpetrator and/or the victim [2]. Bacon has also confirmed that this painting references the Eumenides (the Furies who are responsible for enacting revenge in Greek mythology) [3 + 4].

Now that we've covered the very basics of this work, let's discuss how this might relate to Louis and Armand. This work being present in the show has raised some interesting points for me, and some questions:

The show makes a point of emphasizing that they're selling this work. Since this work is so closely related to World War II, and Louis and Armand are currently trying to relay their experiences during World War II, is the selling of it symbolic of either 1) 'selling' their story to Daniel or 2) finally closing out that chapter in their lives?

It is interesting that in their apartment, there is only modern and post-modern artwork and architecture. I wonder how deeply this ties to Armand's trauma, since he himself was modeled (whitewashed as he was) in Late Renaissance/Mannerism artwork from the 1500s. How much of that experience drives his taste in art?

Bacon's juxtaposition and struggle with violence, power, and the dynamic of the perpetrator/victim is extremely interesting... the thoughts are still cooking about this one.

Rumi-Rachel’s situation is such a unique one since, despite being from the generation of the protagonists’ parents (she is 37, like Yukiko, Kogorou and Eri), her love interest – who shockingly wasn’t her childhood friend nor her cousin (as far as we know at the time of writing) – died a long time ago.

WHICH MEANS that, yes, she is out for revenge and deadly, she will use her coworker as decoy to lure out snipers targeting her, she will taunt a killer about stabbing the little girl he is holding hostage right now in front of the kid’s friends, yes, sure, but more importantly, she is HOT and SINGLE.

Absolutely no issue with any of these points, but when I think about her shipping options with characters who aren’t paired off at the moment (and they’re scarce), I have fun.

Hyoue Kuroda: Fucked up eyes, RUM contenders, scars all over their bodies, collateral damages in The Events From Seventeen Years Ago – and the only(?) ones who survived them, although their lives were significantly altered in very different ways. Kuroda feels her hostility toward him and has an idea of the reasons behind it (that she sees him as responsible for failing to prevent Kohji and Amanda’s deaths) but he is also… surprisingly understanding and lenient toward her? You would think that someone originally from the NPA (who miiight even have been leading the “Zero” section a few years prior) and currently the superintendent of the Tokyo MPD would be slightly bothered by a foreigner hunting on his territory, and yet! He knows where her heart (and knife) is. It has a bit of the AkAm vibe (grudges and misunderstanding and withholding information to your own allies – Furuya didn’t know who she was!), with a slightly older generation.

Hidemi Hondou(/Rena/Kir): If I had a nickel every time an American with Japanese ancestry who had already lost her mother witnessed the death of her own father through a gunshot, I would have two nickels thanks to them. I think they would get along? They both chose to follow their father’s footsteps. They have the same sharpness, while knowing how to play weaker to reach their goals.

Shuuichi Akai: He snipes better, but she would beat him in a fight (GA pointed out that Makoto is probably the only one to surpass her); and she would fit right in with the idea that the men in the Sera-Akai family tend to have very, uh, very assertive partners. They both lost their Romantic Interest and a parent(al figure) to the BO. There is an extremely comical triangle of feelings if you throw Ai into the mix – Ai went from scared to unimpressed by him, while liking Rumi (Wakasa-sensei), who has a grudge against her mother (and potentially Shiho herself), while one of Shuuichi’s top priorities is to ensure that Ai remains alive. Rumi herself likes Shuuichi’s vibes, or at least Subaru’s, because he reminds her of Tsutomu, and hey, they could talk about their crush on Shuuichi’s dad together. Also, Shuuichi, I’m love you, but it would do you some good to date a woman who is older than you, for once.

Rei Furuya: Listen, sometimes (often), someone needs to stop him, and she’s proven she can take him out.

Misao Yamamura: HEAR ME OUT. Their seiyuu provided the original voices for Lum and Araru (Urusei Yatsura), and nobody loves a seiyuu joke more than GA. It would probably be based on a misunderstanding at first (Yamamura accidentally helping her, or not having done a thing but appearing at the right time, and then delivering a one-liner that he’s actually repeating from Kogorou-but-it-was-Conan) but it would be SO, so funny. Rumi’s love language seems to be dedicating her life to protecting people she adores; that would mean people unable to say anything mean to Yamamura because of the dark, threatening aura from the woman standing behind him, who then feeds him the Wakasa-sensei-is-so-clumsy-teeheeheehee act, and Yamamura wouldn’t think anything is amiss. I want to hear her “Darling~” at him. I’m sure she would adore his grandmother.

Oh Anon, I am very sorry to disappoint you, but that’s not Floyd’s bush… the base of the drawing was a pencil sketch, so some parts of it look a bit confusing, that’s just my green “paint” :( You’ll find a bush some other time!

Ok I did Shinichiro on one I answered earlier, as for Wakasa he's very fast and agile so the most important thing to do when fighting him is to not lose sight of him. He also seems to use mainly use kicks, so you should be able to somewhat predict his movements and attack pattern. It's also very important not to fight him when he's with Benkei, since we know they fight best as a duo. His main weakness seems to lie in how seriously he takes fights/ how much effort he puts in. He's shown not bothering to go all out multiple times, don't rile him up or make the fight too interesting for him.

Benkei has incredible physical strength and can easily get back up after a hit. Like with Wakasa, it's important to fight them when they're not paired up. Attacking quickly, preferably after dodging a punch would be the best way of defeating him. Even so, unless your attacks are very powerful, they're doubtful to keep him down. Knocking him unconscious or getting him to give up would be the best way to defeat him for good.

We've never really gotten a good look at Takeomi fighting so it's hard to figure out exactly what his weaknesses are. We do know he can lose control of his emotions while fighting, which makes his style sloppy and easy to defeat. Though this only seems to happen in extreme circumstances. Otherwise he's known to be extremely smart and calculating, "god of war" he was part of the reason for the black dragons getting to the top. He is also very arrogant though, using his arrogance against him in a fight may be useful to defeat him. Otherwise it's best to attack quickly and with a surprise attack, don't give Takeomi enough time to come up with a plan or call for help.

- One of his friends is from Pomefiore is named Yvonne and she basically just claimed them on site. She does his nails using them as a guinea pig for new designs but Iris likes them so doesn’t really care as long as she keeps them short.

Backstory

Iris was born in a research facility kinda like STYX. His father was teacher in charge of the other kids in the facility and his mother was a researcher studying ancient materials. He was known to be an intelligent child growing in interest in ancient texts like his mother.

When Iris was 5 he developed his unique magic while holding a plant seeing some kind of bottle that was draining. Telling his parents they were shocked and did their best to help Iris understand his magic given that their both magic less. During that time Iris caught the interest of the doctor who is in a different facility   offering to study Iris abilities. The parents refused getting a weird feeling from said doctors.

Over the next 3 years the doctor would continue to offer taking Iris in even trying to talk to Iris when his parents were away.  This scared Iris making him refusing to leave his parents side. Even after his mother’s disappearance he was basically glued to his father.

The day of his father death is something he’ll always remember.

Iris killed two people that day the Doctor and his father.

Father said that there would be some people visiting and that they needed to pack up some things. When they were leaving Iris saw the doctor come up behind his father.

The doctor stabbed his father with some needle and tried to drag him away. He used his unique magic, he had to get away from that man. Iris just wanted to weaken the man but from the distress he didn’t pay attention to the bottle draining quickly. Once the doctor let go he ran back to his father

With his father what ever the doctor injected into had his dad in pain. They tried to get to the place where they needed to go but Father couldn’t make it. The pain was unbearable , he was coughing up blood and he couldn’t move anymore so Iris used his unique magic so that his dad wouldn’t die in pain. The bottle was less than half full and was draining without Iris even doing anything.

Iris was later found by STXY.
