author's note : i was watching 'the good bad mother' and idk what to say about it. i would to say thank you for enjoying this mini series of mine. actually i have no intention of continuing but seeing how many of you guys enjoyed the first part so i decided to make it parallel with the manga where i started with the first ever time leap by shinichiro then the death of shinichiro, time skip to kanto manji arc and now the ending. i also happened to watched the last episode of tokyo revengers so now i am bored so i decided to read the manga again and again until season three came out lol. so here's the last part of my 'my first story dedication' series because i love the band so much that i would hope that maybe one day my first story would make an ost for tokyo revengers eheh.

i hate weak people. i love tough guys.

kenchin, baji, mitsuya, pahchin and kazutora. including me, the six strongest friends come together and formed tokyo manji gang. despite me suggesting tokyo manjiro gang, but the guys rejected the idea within seconds.

i like strong guys.

but that day...

2005

"watch over me, shin-nii."

i never anyone about this but i miss hoshiko. also because i feel bad for what i did to her. i loved her but i didn't know how to tell her. but it was too late. she already with shin-nii, watching over me.

and then i met these two people who'd change my fate.

kisaki tetta, with just strength isn't enough. what i need is darkness. the more i push it down, the more darkness overflows. i'll just give to my body and kill kazutora.

as i was about to swing my final punch, takemitchy stood in front of me. "takemitchy?" i muttered as takemitchy just smiled. "mikey-kun."

hanagaki takemichi, he wasn't the strongest one ever. but he stood up to me. even though he couldn't beat me, and easy to cry, before i could realized it and he's always there right in the middle.

takemitchy, why?

2007

"why are you getting up?" mikey asked, watching takemichi wobbling while getting up after mikey beaten him up. "do you think you can beat me? after i beaten you up into a pulp?" mikey asked as he just watching takemichi. spitting out blood, takemichi stabilized himself. "i made a promise to your future self." taking a step as the pain of his foot starting to take a toll on him. "to baji-kun." panting as he approaching to where mikey stood at. "and i promised draken-kun, that i cannot lose because," takemichi lunged himself to mikey, readying his punch. "the only one who can save you from the darkness is me!" shouting, takemichi launched himself before getting side-kicked by mikey, causing him to bounced back on his back.

"have you forgetten about hoshiko-san?" takemichi asked, making mikey halted his action of walking towards takemichi.

'mikey-kun!'

'here mikey-kun, your favourite one is the red bean paste right?'

as takemichi launches his way back to mikey once again, rage filled mikey's body. "don't you ever say her name!" mikey shouted and then he kicked takemichi right on his chest, causing takemichi to swayed back like before. "that's right, she would want me to save you too. like emma-chan." takemichi said again and with that, he was brutally kicked by mikey repeatedly where the other members of the two gangs couldn't even dare to interfere just like tenjiku-toman before.

looking back at takemichi, mikey stared at him like he was nothing, like worthless being. "you're seriously gonna die soon." mikey warned, wanting takemichi to stop. takemichi staggered on standing up, looking at mikey.

"come at me, mikey."

mikey feel the anger once again and jumped his way to kick takemichi. "why did you come back takemitchy? you've seen the video i left and i've promised to protect toman and hina-chan, didn't i?" mikey said. "i told you to forget about me!" mikey swung his fist and punches takemichi's face. "now everything i've done is useless."

takemichi stood up back to fight back and swung his fists towards mikey's way. "i came back because i knew what was wrapped yourself in. and i came back to save you." takemichi told him. "i've never known what a dark impulse is, from what waka said, the dark impulse was born out of love." mikey said, making takemichi confused even more. "that man turned back time to save me." mikey told takemichi, as takemichi just stared at him. with blank eyes, mikey stared back at takemichi.

"sano shinichiro is a time leaper."

"he gave the time leap power to some random kid." wakasa told them as he told back the story of what sano shinichiro told him before he died.

"after he gave you his power, days later he died." mikey continued while looking at takemichi. "this dark impulse's real identity was the curse from shinichiro killed the time leaper." mikey said as he placed his hand on his chest. "it affects those around me and, it's eating me alive." mikey said, looking at his chest where he could feel his heart beat racing.

takemichi slowly approching mikey. "you don't have to hold it in anymore." takemichi informed mikey, making mikey looking up at him. "i formed the second generation of toman to save you so release that dark impulse, mikey." takemichi said. mikey dropped his hand from his chest as he could feel something evil lurking out of him.

"whatever happens, it's on you."

with that, mikey didn't realize what happened next.

the fight goes on with mikey grabbing a katana from haruchiyo. and mikey wasn't even himself as smirk follows. the persona inside mikey wasn't even mikey at all. mikey swung the katana and cut a slit upon takemichi's right arm.

"don't you get it hanagaki? you can't break the curse!" haruchiyo shouted as mikey smirked. "they have been merged together that and everyone who are close to him ended up die!" haruchiyo continued.

"and everyone who tries to save him from thr darkness will ended up dying, you're gonna die hanagaki!"

with that, takemichi have been stabbed by mikey.

stoned, mikey has been pulled into a hug by takemichi with the katana buried in his body. "i'm not gonna lose, manjiro because i will shoulder this dark impulse." takemichi said to mikey's ear. "if you're gonna act stupid, i will take you down because you're my friend for life." takemichi continued and after that, blood coming out of his mouth which apparently he was stabbed by the chest.

"friend?" mikey mumbled to himself. within that, the darkness in him went gone and mikey realized the situation he's in. "takemitchy..." mikey looked at the person in his arms. "take my hand, you're the trigger mikey-kun." takemichi informed as he was shakingly grabbing mikey's hand. "what are you saying takemitchy?" mikey said slowly.

staggered, takemichi fall onto his knees. "oi, takemitchy!" mikey shouted, as everyone around were all stunned. "i..." takemichi said slowly, coughing out blood even more. "will go back to past, over and over..." takemichi continued saying throughout the blood. "that's enough takemitchy!" mikey warned. "so that i can smile with you, and everyone that we love and close to heart." takemichi said.

the light was dimmed. mikey felt no movement coming from takemichi as he lightly shaking takemichi's body. not moving or reacting, takemichi fell onto mikey's chest. "AAAAAHHHHHHHH!" falling onto his knees, takemichi fell onto his laps and mikey repeatedly shaking takemichi in order to wake him up. sobbing, mikey grabbed takemichi's hands. "i distanced myself so that none of this would happen! open your eyes, takemitchy!" mikey shouted as tears falling out of his eyes, not wanting to accept what it is happening right in front of him.

hearing a banter, hoshiko shocked by the noise which soon followed by a punching sound. emma got up and left hoshiko in the living room to see the ruckus. hoshiko stood up as well and followed emma. "oi keisuke!" emma shouted as she placed her fists on her waist. "don't fight in front of other people's house!" emma pointed out and takemichi looked at emma. "emma-chan.." then he looked at the girl next to emma. "hoshiko-san.." hoshiko weirded out as she looked at takemichi. "do we know each other?" hoshiko questioned. "oi what is this ruckus all about?" a voice said walking towards where everyone is at. "oi keisuke, what's going on right in the morning huh?" it was shinichiro. "you're being too loud." shinichiro mumbled. "wait, who are you?" shinichiro asked takemichi, causing the kids there were looking at him as well.

takemichi felt awkward as he realized that he has time-leaped into time where everyone hasn't met him yet. "huh, who are you?" it was mikey. can't believe his eyes, takemichi's eyes got teared up. "mikey-kun.."

"you're, takemitchy? realized mikey, as he remembers those eyes. takemichi stared at mikey and he shocked by the nickname. 'how could he-'

"is it really you takemitchy?" mikey asked. "huh.." was all takemichi uttered out. "no way.."

"WE TIME-LEAPED TOGETHER!" and with that, the two of them went off running. "what's wrong with them?" shinichiro asked. "beats me." keisuke replied.

"mikey! don't forget to come back for dinner!" hoshiko reminded as she waved her arm.

2017

"will do!" mikey replied as takemichi stood in front of the sano residence, on his bike. mikey ride on the back as takemichi turned on his bike given by mikey as present during their youth. hoshiko stood in front of the sano residence gate, watching mikey and takemichi. "be safe okay, make sure everything is well prepared." hoshiko reminded, making both mikey and takemichi chuckled. "okay got it hoshiko-chan." takemichi replied. hoshiko smiled as she rubbing her pregnant stomach.

in 2005, mikey accepted hoshiko's confession as encouraged by emma one day while preparing chocolates for valentine's day. starting from there, even being the captain of toman, hoshiko accepted mikey for who he is and mikey for who she is. hoshiko became of the woman of toman and was well-protected by the members of toman as a sign of loyalty to the captain.

in 2008, shinichiro married to someone he met at his shop. he knew that was a love at first sight and the girl was also a motorbike enthusiast, same as him. also mikey and hoshiko graduated from high school. with support from her parents, hoshiko pursued her studies in collage in journalism so now hoshiko is a chief editor in one of biggest magazine company in tokyo.

married to mikey in 2015, both of them are now a proud parents-to-be. the baby will be due during autumn time. both of them are the current residence of sano residence with sano mansaku since both shinichiro and emma moved out right after getting married. nevertheless, both lived near so whenever there are family events, they won't missed it. shinichiro continued working in ss motors alongside with his wife as co-owner and emma as a housewife to draken, who works with mikey as his mechanic for top of manji, mikey's motorsport team as he is the racer for the team. as for izana, he continued living in yokohama as director of tenjiku, which he occasionally travelling but still based in yokohama.

life is nice when you are surrounded with good people.

july 11, 2017

the day has comes by and it is now takemichi and hinata's wedding day. the venue itself was extravagant. fillied with toman's former members, which all of them are really living the life.

hoshiko took a seat which has been assigned her name which with the rest of the sano family. mikey went to the groom's dressing room to congratulate takemichi himself. hoshiko already met with hinata with emma but left first since the pregnancy itself has been exhausting for hoshiko. "oh shiko-chan!" shinichiro's wife greeted as she took a seat next to hoshiko's left. "nee-san." hoshiko greeted back, bowing her head lightly. "where's mikey?" shinichiro asked as he took a seat next to his wife's left. "he's with the groom." hoshiko told him as he nodded his head. "ah."

"hello family." izana greeted as he took a seat next to shinichiro, shaking his hand. "how's business 'zana?" shinichiro asked and shinichiro's wife rolled her eyes, shaking her head. "men and business, am i right shiko-chan?" shinichiro's wife asked, making hoshiko chuckled. "yerp." hoshiko replied.

then mikey pop-ed out of nowhere and took a seat next to his wife's right, followed by emma and draken. everyone else also took their assignated seats and then the ceremony begins.

"groom takemichi, do you take hinata as your lawful wedded wife to cherish and promise to be faithful to her for as long as you both shall live?" the minister asked and as he finished asking, he looked at takemichi which makes mikey looked at his wife. realized that mikey turned his head, hoshiko looked at mikey, smiling lightly. "what is it?" hoshiko asked whispering. "i love you." mikey whispered back, making hoshiko blushed with the sudden confession.

the vow exchanged to hinata and mikey continued on looking at his wife. "you know you suppose to say it back right?" mikey whispered and hoshiko giggled as she detected an upset mikey. placing her hand on his left cheek, mikey leaned into it. "i love you too mikey, for as long as i shall live." hoshiko whispered back, reciting her vow from two years ago. smiling, mikey grabbed his wife's placed hand and kissed her palm. intertwined their hands together, mikey placed it on his left thigh, continued to watch the ceremony as both takemichi and hinata now exchange wedding rings.

"you may now kiss the bride." the minister announced and without a blink, both groom and bride kissed to seal the vow and everyone starting to cheer and clapping hands.

one afternoon on monday where during recess time, hoshiko and mikey met at the rooftop of their school as promised between the two. "here, mikey-kun." hoshiko said as she held out a box towards his way, bowing her head 90 degrees. mikey looked at the box and then looked up at hoshiko. "what's this?" mikey asked but hoshiko keep on bowing. "please accept it." was all hoshiko said and then mikey opened it to reveal a box of things like chocolates, other sweets and a letter.

mikey took out the letter and read it instantly.

'dear mikey-kun, happy valentine's day. i hope you like the present that i gave to you. i just want to say this right but i am too nervous to say it in person so here's why the letter exists. i like you mikey-kun and i hope you would return the same feelings as well. hoshiko xx'

mikey looked at hoshiko as she was fidgetting with her fingers while looking at her shoes. smiling, mikey took hoshiko's hands into his. hoshiko looked up at him. seeing how mikey smiled at her, hoshiko's face becoming more redder than ever.

"hoshiko, i like you too."

Ok but in whichever way this manga may turn out, there’s one fact that’s always been fixed into this story and that’s Shin’s love for Mikey and it’s literally making me cry with just how much Shin is willing to do just for his little brother’s sake. It’s just so heartbreaking to see that his love for Mikey is what saved his life but is also the cause of why it is the way it is right now. I also find it kind of symbolic with how it’s phrased right now that Shin’s love saved Mikey’s life but it’ll be Takemitchy’s that’ll make him actually wanna live.

(Also, at least we got ShinWaka crumbs….🥲🥲)

TR 268, THE FIRST TIMELINE, AND OTHER THOUGHTS 

i’m not one of doing theories because i’m dumb to do such things, but today seems to be a day where god decided to light my head and i had some good thoughts about what currently is happening in tokyo revengers. most of this probably doesn’t even make sense, but hey! tokrev isn’t either. warnings for spoilers of both tokyo revengers and the netflix german show “dark”. 

i’ll divide this theory (idk if i can call this a theory djhsgdja) in four parts! 

shinichiro, mikey and the first timeline.

that being said, let’s go!! 

SHINICHIRO, MIKEY AND THE FIRST TIMELINE

wakasa’s line really fucked up my head when i first read it. what the hell did he mean with first timeline? the og timeline that takemichi died after being pushed in the train tracks, where draken, hina and naoto died too? it’s probably this one he’s referencing, but this timeline being known as the first one, implies that we have an original timeline — which is quite confusing, because to us, this one wakasa was talking about was the original timeline. 

to me, our original timeline was the timeline shinichiro was trying to create, but he died before he could make sure everything would be fine. 

since he’s now confirmed to be another time-leaper and was time leaping to save mikey, just like takemichi, also implies that something happened to mikey — maybe he died or even went insane because of his dark impulses, but i doubt that. i reached the conclusion that mikey’s dark impulses were born due to shinichiro’s time leaps, even if he didn’t know he was their reason to exist (idk how, though). 

i think mikey died in shinichiro’s original timeline. 

maybe in the car accident that killed papa sano, or in a gang war (i’ll elaborate this, i promise). but i’m sure og’s mikey died as a child/pre-teen, and shinichiro couldn’t get over it. as to how he gained his powers, i think something similar to takemichi must’ve happened to him, or the “deity” (hanma shuji im looking at you rn) of such powers approached him and offered him the chance to save his brother. of course he couldn’t say no. we know how much of a caring older brother shin was, and his death probably affected the other members of his family as well — grandpa sano, emma, and probably even mama sano. shinichiro wanted to save everyone from the sadness of losing such a bright kid. 

shinichiro managed to do it — idk in how many tries, but at least a few — which resulted in takemichi’s original timeline. 

but as i said, shinichiro died before he could make sure mikey would be saved, in which resulted in everything we know from our og timeline — draken dying in the moebius fight, kisaki using this to be toman’s top two and mikey losing himself to his darkness. 

and then takemichi came into the picture. we know akkun was the one who pushed in on takemichi’s first timeline, but who did on his og one? we know it was someone wearing a black and long t-shirt or jacket — sanzu was wearing a black t-shirt on his volume’s undercover, but the black dragons’ uniform is black, too.

THE BLACK DRAGONS

i’m sure shinichiro created the black dragons to save mikey. 

remember when i said i think mikey died in a gang war? and i think i know which one it was — the one between waka’s and benkei’s former gangs, kodo rengo and ragnarok. we don’t know if there was really a gang war between them, but from takeomi’s flashback, we can understand that they at least fought with each other a lot. to the sake of my thoughts, i think mikey must’ve died in a fight between the two gangs, being caught in the crossfire by accident. baji and sanzu were probably with him, too, and perhaps even died alongside their friend. 

anyways. as soon as shinichiro got his timeleaping powers, i’m sure he did exactly what takemichi did — become the top one of a gang, to prevent his beloved one from dying, and he succeeded. we always thought about how shin managed to become the black dragons’ president and stop the war between benkei and wakasa, because we knew he didn’t have fighting skills — and charisma doesn’t win a war. since he’s a time leaper, i’m sure he did what takemichi and naoto were doing, aka searching for things to help him to change the timeline. he was getting the help of someone else if he was doing that, and it probably was takeomi. i’ll not elaborate on this because i'm still waiting for him to come back. 

the main thing is: shinichiro created the black dragons to unite benkei and wakasa, and prevent the battle that killed mikey from happening, gathering info that would help him achieve it. and he did, successfully, and he saved his little brother! but he didn’t know he was going to die, because he didn’t time leaped to make sure things would be fine for him and his family, or if something was going to happen that he needed to prevent — but kazutora was ready to kill god or become god, and shin died before seeing what would happen with mikey’s dark impulses.

WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN 

be aware that this section will contain spoilers of the third season of “dark” 

we have two directions the story can follow: 

takemichi prevents shinichiro’s death, preserving the future he tried so hard to have.

takemichi prevents mikey’s death from the og timeline, preventing shin to become a time leaper. 

the first one is a theory that everyone knows about, but i don’t think it’s the only correct answer for what takemichi needs to do. mikey would still have the dark impulses, and we don’t know if shinichiro being alive would prevent everything from happening — if mikey fell to his darkness, which i think it's a creation of shin’s time leaping without him knowing, i don’t think his brother would be able to take him from it. 

the key is to save mikey, but not this mikey. 

“dark” is a german show that deals with time travel, too. i love it and watched it twice, and i think its ending might have some clues about what will happen in tokyo revengers. to not spoil too much people that didn’t watch it, i’ll just say that jonas, the main character, was trying to prevent himself from becoming the big bad, by doing everything he could after being caught in the madness of time traveling — but he was already falling in the same circle his past/future self did, and he needed to break it. and to break it, he couldn’t save his timeline, but prevent a trigger from happening. that trigger was the death of the son of the creator of the time travel machine, who created it to save his son, but something bad happened when he was creating it, which resulted in the birth of jonas’ timeline. so jonas saved the creator’s son and the time travel machine wasn’t built.

the main thing is: to save mikey, takemichi can’t try to save what is already rotten. he needs to prevent the trigger of shinichiro’s time leaping from happening, which is og mikey’s death. 

saving mikey is still the goal, but not in the way we’re thinking. 

how takemichi will do it? only wakui knows (if that’s his plan).

MORE QUESTIONS 

this section will be just a few thoughts i had during the day and when i thought about this post

who was shinichiro’s trigger? wakasa knew about the time leaping, but i don’t see why he could be shin’s trigger. maybe takeomi? especially if haruchiyo died with mikey in the og timeline. 

if wakasa knew about it, it means takeomi and benkei did too. but why didn't they look after mikey after shin passed away? did they think shin knew he was going to die or something and thought mikey’s future was already what shinichiro wanted? 

where the scar incident fit in? and how sanzu knows about the time leaping? did he hear shinichiro talking about it with takeomi on the day of the incident, or do we have another time leaper? 

how the fuck hanma fits in all of this. we have so many clues about him being a time leaper too, i’ll kill wakui if that was just misleading things. 

how the dark impulses were created. mikey said it was because of shinichiro’s love and i interpreted it as the result of his time leapings. but i could still be wrong. 

who pushed takemichi on the train tracks on his original timeline and why they did it. it was wakasa, benkei or takeomi, trying to find someone who could save shinichiro? was it sanzu? hanma?

Pardon me for this, but my first reaction to this was - 

DUDE!!! What The Actual FUCK!!!!!!

I am late to get to a chapter for ONE time AND THIS HAPPENS!!! C’mon!!!

Shinichiro is the second Timeleaper????? Like, WHAT?

My more clam reaction, when i made peace with the fact that this is actually happening - 

If you look at it, it may just make sense. 

Why i think so? Here - 

This is from ch 7; when Naoto explains what happens when Takemitchi timeleaps. 

This was not mentioned very often, because there were many significant or drastic changes in the following timelines, where the whole setup or dynamic of the situation had changed. Meaning, only those timelines, where the changes were minor (Like in this Timeline, Akkun not being in jail - which largely did not effect the whole plot), Mitchi was dead for the time being he had gone back in time. 

Other timeline, where there were more significant changes - like Mitchi going from not-so-important Toman figure to one of it’s executives; we don’t know how that timeline was till Mitchi came back to future, but by the looks of it, he wasn’t dead in those. 

Why did i bring this up?

I have two questions or things or reasons to bring this up -

Because, this means Dead people, while they are dead for everyone around them - they are infact in a parallel timeline, somewhere in past or future.

Does that ring a bell? 

Someone who is dead? 

Someone who can timetravel? 

Someone who was week but still strong enough to be the centre of attention of all?

And i don’t know the original script (someone please correct me on the tense here if i am wrong), but every manga panel is drawn and written carefully. So, this -

It’s present tense. 

Does it mean, Shinichiro is still (in 2008) alive? 

Like, okay, it’s a bit of a stretch; but the wording here sounds deliberate. It could have been written as ‘was’? We do focus more on tenses in English. 

AND, if he is still in the background somewhere - what is he doing? 

Takemitchi has always tried to make the following timelines better, but they always get worse; if Shinichiro is in the background, why hasn’t he done anything?

On to the next part and a VERY important question -

Shinichiro travelled “Back in Time" 

When? 

Was it when their dad died? When their Mom was on death bed? When Mikey started getting into fight with older boys? When the whole plane incident happened? Or when Toman founding member’s met? or when he died?

I was kinda sad we did not get much information from Mikey’s past chapters; it was just repeat of what we knew till that point, but we did get a few more insights on the situation

While there is possibility that Shinichiro travelled to a time which was never mentioned till now; it is interesting to point out these: 

Two obvious difference in POV’s of Mikey and senju regarding the plane incident (it was Shinichiro who made that plane, btw)- 

Sanzu, if we consider Mikey actually ripped his mouth open,  even after that he was okay following Mikey. 

He knows about Timeleaping (all that destiny stuff) but he was out of spot-light for a long time

Mikey didn’t just seem to visit by his brothers bike shop on the fated night, he was called/told to be there. He saw Baji & Kazutora being taken away

(Note: Drawing parallels with Takemitchi as they were time and again mentioned to be very similar)

So, here’s what i think happened; Shinichiro after Kazutora hit him in the head, travelled back in time (no trigger this time, like Takemitchi’s first time). 

Either to the plane incident, to stop Mikey from doing the same thing to Sanzu that he had originally done (i think he failed in this one, same like Takemitchi could not always stop an incident from happening) 

And/or to just a few hours before he died; meaning, he had called Mikey to gift him the Bike and while he was waiting in his office, Mikey had came in and saw someone breaking into the Garage, making Mikey confronting Baji and Kazutora Killing Mikey instead of Shinchiro. Shinchiro found him almost dead, and like in Bonten timeline, Mikey triggered his Timetravel, but only a few hours back, where he gave Mikey a wrong time and instead was killed? (It’s like a paradox) 

I know, this is assuming, that Shinichiro time travelled on Aug 13th. But there are also possibilities that he travelled on a complete different point. 

Well, for that, i can’t seem to think of something which is mentioned till date. To me, it feels like if it’s not these two incidents then it’s completely off screen scenario.

Now to combine the two things, We don’t know much about OG/1st Timeline. The first TL we know is:

Toman is bad news, involving into every crime possible

Mikey and Kisaki met on 5th July 2005 (remains same for all TL’s)

Hina had dumped mitchi in this TL in 2005

Takemitchi and Mizo squad remained slaves of Kiyomasa and group, where (to our knowledge) Takemitchi and Mikey never met 

Draken is dead, Akkun is in jail

Not much info on anyone else

Kisaki was acting President of Toman and Mikey was MIA

Hina (truck rammed into her) and Naoto died on 1st July

Mitchi died on 4th July, 1st time leap

Goes back - 12 Yrs

Told Naoto about the death after 12 years – future changed

But, what if there is a timeline even before this? Like, that would make sense. Shinichiro travelled back in time to save Mikey; and Mikey was fine (atleast alive) in this timeline. 

Now, here - 

Does this mean, Takemitchi won’t have died by being pushed on the train track? that he would never have travelled back in time? 

What is it that Shinichiro tried to save Mikey from? And why would it even be a concern to Takemitchi - who only met Mikey by pure coincidence and that too only in later timelines? 

And, if Shinichiro was only trying to save Mikey; then why is it that whatever Takemitchi did, the future only seemed to get worse and worse? In every progressive Future, Mikey had suffered more and more, living and dying painfully, alone? 

Does that mean there is one more Time leaper, a third, who is working against both Mitchi and Shin? Someone else who is already dead? It’s not that farfetched thought, there could be multiple Time leapers, we are only following one.

It is also important to know 

Why did Wakasa wait till the end of Three deities war to tell Mikey about the whole Time Leaping thing? 

Who else knows about it? Benkei? Takeomi? 

Was Wakasa the trigger? 

Did Shinichiro travel back only once or was it multiple times like Takemitchi? 

Why did Wakasa never talk to Mikey or informed him about it since 2003? 

What all information is Wakasa hiding? 

Does Wakasa remember all the timelines like Naoto remembers? 

Was Shinichiro’s time travel evolved to the same level as current (2008) Takemitchi, where he is able to glance into the future?

Also; 

Dark Impulse is born out of love. 

So, was it Mikey’s love for his brother that gave birth to these impulses? or is it like Shinichiro was able to pass on these impulses? 

Or are these caused due to Shinichiro travelling back in time, making a conflicting image of himself inside Mikey? (This traces back to me believing Mikey having split-personality; where due to someone else trying to shape his life the way they want caused confusion within himself of who he actually is)

All of this is without even considering Many other factors in the story that are still left unsaid, uncleared or unattended

hi <33 honestly while this reveal doesnt really make sense, it also does make sense.

because to be fair, despite all of us having favourite characters that we want to be developed and to have more meaning and contribution in the story, this is the story of how takemichi saves mikey.

when mikey said "wow takemichi you're just like my brother" or whatever, i guess that held more subtext to it than we ever thought it would.

i'm upset that characters like shuji, sanzu and kisaki are probably not going to get any more importance in the story than they already have — now that the second time leaper has been confirmed. they dont have any relevance in the story, not in that direction anyway.

but whatever,, it is what it is LMAO. if this is how wakui is going to give mikey closure, and how he's going to wrap his story up, then so be it. i'll take it.

shinichiro failed to save mikey (because of his untimely death :P or maybe he's alive?? somewhere in an alternate universe or in another timeline or something?? idk anymore) from his darkness, and now it's up to takemichi to do it.

takemichi is the protagonist, mikey is the deuteragonist, and clearly this is a series that holds the message that 'villains' arent always the main root of the problem.

kisaki, kazutora, izana, south, sanzu, shuji, or any other antags that we've come across — they're not part of the big picture. or the core picture, to be more accurate. they've contributed to the story, or contributed to making mikey's situation worse, rather.

but they're not the cause. they're not the reason behind any of it. they have no further importance, aside from having made things worse in one way or another.

we dont know what the cause or reason is. not yet.

the core story of tokyo revengers is just about something being wrong with mikey that's embedded deep into him, and takemichi trying to find out what it is and save him from it.

that's what i'm getting from the latest chapter, anyway. and while i dont really like it, i dont hate it either.
