Will forever be Shinji. I love him so much... we're recently watching ryuki in our group watch and it will be my fifth rewatch of ryuki lol. Never will get tired of it to be honest! I love his attitude and his hopefulness for others throughout all of ryuki. Even if it bites him the ass, I think his naivete is brave.. I really do like his indecisiveness, it's really.. relatable. The way he goes in head first to save others is also another thing I really love seeing from Shinji.

god... I just really love how he challenges Ren and the others' ideals by just. refusing to want to be part of the game. I really love that as someone who was not a part of the initial game, has no stakes, no reason to fight, can really cut through Ren's perceived coldness to kill by saying he doesn't understand the weight of actually killing someone.

I love Shinji so much..... man... that scene in 34. survive..

truly if I think about him too long I will just start crying.
