The best part about Darius in Alador's photograph is that it's implied he went to the brawl specifically to boo Alador whilst he was competing, rather than any interest in the event itself.
"Hey Darius, do you wanna go watch the Bonesborough Brawl?"
"I think I'll pass. I would literally rather watch paint dry."
"Alador is going to participate."
"That son of a-I'm coming."
"I figured you'd say so."
(who is Darius talking to? I dunno)

DETAILS YOU MIGHT HAVE MISSED - TOH
Ok, so, I found this really cool video entitled "Things I noticed while rewatching The Owl Hose" and I decided to share some of my favorite details:
S1E18: You know when Lillith and the emperor's guards tried to invade the Owl House but got DESTROYED by Hooty? There´s a scene where Lillith gets a call from Kikimora saying the emperor wants to talk with her, and a little "bird", on top of Lilly's hair goes "oh, you´re in trouble". Well, on the scene we see her entering the palace, she spits some feathers... indicating that she might have EATEN the poor bird thing!!
S2E14: Hunter's Pentstagram name is RULERZREACHF4AN, clearly indicating the Hunter has not only read King´s book RULER´S REACH, but is also a fan!!
S1E12: The ruined town on the knee, where Eda takes Luz to learn her second glyph, is actually one of the towns that Bellos burned down.
There are a lot more where that came from, you just gotta check it out clicking on this link:
https://youtu.be/kcKMS4Ubpfk?si=39IDlPxNlKxpFO6A
So, did you know any of that stuff? What are some other details that you noticed that other people might have missed??

Holy ACTUAL SHIT, that new episode might be my favorite in the series. Never thought Eclipse Lake would be beaten, but that was fucking *emotional*.
Amity legitimately confronting her dad about not being there for her or talking to her, the Blight family as a whole being really interesting, Eda calling Luz her kid, the showcase of the relationship between Luz and Amity, the scene at the grom tree, I just. Ugh. Holy fuck.
That's not even MENTIONING all the wonderful character details we're getting! Hunter being so incredibly bad at using a scroll, Edric and Emira using illusions as makeup, the implications that Eda and Alador might have actually been acquaintances instead of just knowing eachother, HUNTER BEING A FAN OF RULER'S REACH??? It's fucking GREAT.
What a goddamn beautifully made episode.

TOH 2X14 SPOILERS
I usually watch toh with my friend but I heard the 2x14 episode has a big dump of parents/family trauma issues. And while my friend is one strong dude, he's also quite fragile in the family trauma department. So I decided to watch it before watching it with him to be somewhat prepared? To know what we're about to be dealing with. But ohohohoh did I play myself. It was actually MY parent trauma issues, not his! Ohoohohohoh. Although I think some of the Amity-Alador stuff will resonate with him. But the Luz part? Ah shit. It was really well done tho. The episode was painful but I'm so happy it was created. That said, I could use some friend talk rn BUT that I would have to explain why and THAT would be owl house spoilers. Oh the irony 🤡

The best thing about Hunter being a ruler's reach fan is that it's implied he has no idea on of the authors tried to use him as a magnificent steed, and the other one bitchslapped him awake to save his life. It might sour his opinion in the reviews if that got out.
He'd probably feel very conflicted. On one hand, he got to meet the authors of his favorite book. On the other hand, the authors of his favorite book are a rebellious wild witch sympathizer who has gotten him into trouble multiple times and a rat.
He might have to sever his ties with that book and start reading something by a less problematic author. Like The Good Witch Azura.

MY THOUGHTS ON TOH S2E14 & AMPHIBIA S3E13:
As per usual, this is a combined post, so feel free to skip to the part that you’ve seen. I’ll only be including major things as to not write an essay, like normal.
Amphibia:
The main takeaway from this episode was LORE!! I love the lore of this show with a deep passion if you couldn’t tell already. We now have official mention of the prophecy and the core to Sasha and Anne, and man, I can’t wait to see how they react once all of the pieces of what has happened to Marcy finally fall into place. One aspect that really stuck with me is that the core is an “unnatural thing that does not sleep and will not die,” which really worries me because how are they supposed to kill something that doesn’t die without a third of the people mentioned in the prophecy? Hopefully next week we’ll get even more answers!
The Owl House:
This episode was a bit of a rollercoaster. I loved the triumph of Amity confronting her dad (and by proxy her mom), and finally admitting that she has her own dreams and wants to go her own way in life. Then, there was the sad aspect of finding out that Luz’s dad had passed away. I’m not gonna lie, I did tear up at this, and the fact that Luz kept it in all day really got to me because I do the same exact thing. The short scene where it shows Camilla with her own flowers was really another punch to the gut, especially since Luz and Amity sent off their flowers with hopes that they reach the human relm. Hopefully next week won’t make me tear up again (/lh)!

Luz asking Hunter if he's one of the good guys now implies she knows damm well he's too nice to ever actually be the kind of ruthless henchmen Belos expects him to be and that he'll inevitably be working alongside her and the others, so she might as well jump the gun and save time on his 'redemption' from the bad guys.
That is exactly what it is and I love it.
Luz: "Come on, Lampman's gonna start watching episode fifteen soon! We're getting into the last fourth of the season, you need to get a move on with that redemption arc buddy." Hunter: "What are you on about!? And how did you get this number?"

The thing I love most about Alador calling Luz 'Eda's kid', is that it could be taken either as 'Eda has kids now?' or, 'The kid that Eda kidnapped from the human realm and hangs around her place like her other pet'. Inhabitants of Isles who know Eda wouldn't put it past her to start collecting human kids as a curiosity
I'm gonna go with option two there; Alador probably already knew Eda was Luz' (Demon Realm) guardian since the incident with the expulsion in ep.2. I know Alador isn't exactly the type to pay attention to... anything, but I feel like a human in the Demon Realm is enough to at least make him go "Huh, that's odd. I wonder how that got there?"
