since you like dungeon meshi: what race would Murph and Steve (and other toh ocs too) be in a dunmeshi au

Steve is half tallman half ogre (hence the horns) - looks largely like a regular tallman but is insanely robust and eats enough for about four people. He's missing one horn because it was removed by bandits (ogre horns are traded on the black market and believed to be their source of strength, so removing them makes them easier to defeat; this is not actually true so he survived both getting taken). He usually works as a sellsword for the dungeon but is actually a pretty powerful mage, but he keeps that on the down-low to avoid too many super dangerous missions. His half-brother Matt is potentially half tallman half half-foot because I think that would be funny

Murph I think would be a half tallman half elf?? Possibly a vanilla choice and similar to Marcille but having their mother be a human that passed away a long time ago and seeing their elven father have to live on with decades of grief is a really good way to tie in major parts of their character arc (mainly the attachment issues and fear of loss, which only gets amplified by the huge difference in lifespans in Dunmesh). Not sure what to do with their arms in this AU, possibly they're so poorly damaged in the dungeon that resurrection just won't fix them so they have to use monster parts as replacements, and then keep those parts hidden from other people for fear of punishment/exile

Roscoe is a full elf and potentially one of the Canaries. Ragnus is a kobold of course. Delphy is a dwarf but a bit of an oddball because instead of mining or smithing, she gained an aptitude for sailing instead

Um…your TOH X Dungeon Meshi art…why is Hunter bare-chested? Like, nothing explicit is shown, I guess, but it still feels kinda creepy.

Hey dude I understand your concern but nudity isn’t inherently sexual! Also he’s got the mind of a monster in that form, he’s feeling nothing but raw and unfiltered animal instinct and fear so wearing a shirt is the least of his concern (especially after Amity would’ve stabbed him in this au and he ripped his shirt off.) still I made sure to cover the important bits w the selkiedomus seaweed cuz even though they’re older in the dunmeshi au I don’t feel comfortable drawing his nips lol
