last art that i did for the TOG server annual art contest and its Elaine

i think i did pretty good for the sad ambience and vibes and i was trying out new technique too where i wash the whole paper with muted green(almost gray) color and just add darker stuffs on top of it, resulting in the uhm how to explain it? depressed vibes LOL also i love how deep the red is(well yeah ofc i was abusing my red paint) and the gradation on her hair making her face glow <3 even tho her face bit wonky because i was literally doing it few hours before the contest end

Day 17 of Inktober- Graceful The reason I chose Lo Po Bai Elaine is because she was a former zahard princess candidate. Not only for this reason, but her entire arc during the name station had me in awe as her story began to unfold. She fell I'm love with a weak boy, but as a princess candidate, she could not be in love, she was forbidden to be in a relationship. So she schemed up a plan to run away from her family and her candidacy as a princess, but it was later revealed that the boy was a test. A test to prove that Elaine was unable to be a princess, and a fool for falling in love so easily. Now, Elaine had the makings of being a truly powerful Zahard princess, she was tough, graceful, strategic, etc; her entire life she was walking on thin glass. She spent her youth in the name station to make money for her family, to bring them out of debt from her mistakes, she worked for years, and years, and years, and it was for the purpose of making her family love her once again. It's quite pitiful for a lovely young lady such as Elaine to be strewn about by inconvenience after inconvenience. Even until the last moment when she was fighting Baam as he bestowed upon her name, and saving her, she held her head up high, and with dignity, she proceeded to make a name for herself again. This character truly deserves this title as a graceful being. I hope in the future to see more of this elegant creature.

Elaine Lo Po Bia x Fem!Reader

Genre: Fluff

Notes: I did my best with a socially awkward reader! I’m so sorry this took so long to come out. I hope you like it!

Baking has always been your way to destress. Cultivating it to be both edible and delicious. From cookies to cakes, to brownies to pies, you got it covered.

Needless to say, you were a pro at it. 

The kitchen was your safe haven. Something familiar and close to home. 

So whenever you have a break from climbing the tower, you decide to make goodies for the team to eat. 

“After adding the flour I need to add a teaspoon of vanilla…” Grabbing the vanilla, you reached for the teaspoon.

“Here.”

Jumping you turn around.

Elaine was standing next to you, her green hair cascading down her shoulder as she peers at your mixing bowl.

“O-Oh Elaine! Thank you” Tentatively taking the spoon from her. Quickly pouring the vanilla in the tiny teaspoon.

‘When did she get here?’ You didn’t put on any music but you were sure that you weren’t that deep into thought. 

You grab your stirring spoon, mixing the vanilla with the batter.

Every so often you would look over at Elaine who was watching you mix away. Her light tosca eyes seemed indifferent at first, but you were sure there was an intensity that you couldn’t pinpoint in them. 

“What are you making?” Elaine asked, coming closer to you. She was wearing a plain white shirt with dark blue shorts. 

‘If I’m not careful she’ll mess up her shirt’ You thought, looking at the white fabric.

“I’m making cupcakes” you mutter, wincing at how small you sound.

“Why are mixing slower now?” Elaine said bluntly.

Snapping out of it, you glanced at her before turning your head away. 

“I don’t want to accidentally get you dirty” 

Tilting her head, she looks at you and then your bowl.

Moving away you go to get the pan for your cupcakes. Embarrassment swelling up inside you.  ‘I swear I don’t know why she’s still here but it’s okay, I got this.’

It wasn’t like you hate Elaine. In fact you really liked her. She was just an extraordinary person that has an insanely gorgeous face. 

You didn’t know how to act around her! 

After all, you still struggled to have a consistent interaction with the team. You, as you had put it, “A limited social battery and a completely charged over thinking mind”.

So Elaine appearing out of nowhere while you were in the middle of baking has thrown you in a loop, and now you are hyper aware of your every action-

“Elaine! Your shirt! Oh my god, let me get you a napkin-”

Within the short time you had left to get the pan, Elaine had gone ahead and took your mixing bowl and decided to continue mixing for you. 

But Elaine, who had no prior experience baking, ended up mixing too hard and splashed some batter on her. 

As Elaine put down the bowl, feeling guilty for messing up.. You came in with a damp rag, wiping the batter off her immediately. 

Elaine tensed up for a second due to the sudden contact, but as she watched you worryingly wipe the batter off her, she couldn’t help her soft smile.

Earlier, she smelled a faint but sweet scent coming from the kitchen. Curious, she went and discovered you baking away, completely in the zone, and surprisingly…free. Every interaction she had with you, was always…awkward to put it mildly. She was nearly convinced that you didn’t like her.  

“I don’t want to accidentally get you dirty” 

For the first time, Elaine realized that perhaps your actions do not reflect you accurately. Your head, while turned away, showed your ears flushing a deep red color.

Watching you stiffly go to get something, Elaine thought that maybe if she mixed the bowl, it would spark a more comfortable conversation.

But Elaine never had to mix bowls, even in the Nameless Station. ‘How did she do it so effortlessly?’ Elaine thought, awkwardly trying to mix it smoothly, not realizing the mess she was making.

However, at this moment, Elaine started snickering, catching your attention.

“W-why are you laughing?” Stopping your actions, you stared in slight awe as Elaine covered her mouth in an attempt to hide her laughter. Despite the situation, she seemed even more pretty than she did with her stoic face.

“Because Y/N, I didn’t realize how concerning it was to get a measly shirt dirty”

Your face flushed a bright pink. You pulled away, now fully aware how you touched her nonconsensually, and how there was just a noticeable damp stain where the batter was. You were going to apologize, and was already in mid bow when she asked:

“Y/N, can you teach me how to bake?”

A bit taken back, you look at Elaine, who smiled down at you, undisturbed and completely amused. Looking a bit like the princess she never got to be, but definitely happier.

Slowly regaining your composure, you gave her a soft grin.

“Sure, I would love that”
