SYNOPSIS | FULL PROLOGUE LIST | CHARACTERS   | CHAPTER LIST

The busy street is where Magnolia PD was located. People were bustling about, getting to where they need to be and the traffic was horrible. The sun was out and the pavement was horribly hot. That was everyday. If a person was walking outside they would feel incredibly sweaty and tense because of the heat. That's what Kyle Grayson is experiencing right now the only difference is he is inside the Magnolia PD.

He was a marine recruit before but stopped pursuing it when his mother needed close medical attention, so he chose to pursue a field closer to it. He graduated top at the academy and after three years of good service and hard work he was promoted to detective. The pay was good and it helped her mother and brother financially but his mother is still in a coma at the hospital. Still fighting whilst his father was killed tragically when he was still at a young age of seven. He was murdered in front of his eyes and that memory still haunts him to these day maybe that's why he has good instinct of being a detective but just this week something happened that his advisor called him at this office. Then got suspended. What the fucking hell, he thought.

As he stared across the street, he felt a cold feeling crept along his spine that he had to massage the back of his neck. Just across the street were people he would soon meet in the future. Some knew each other already and some knew the other from the past life.

The blond man with the red hot Bentley was the same Philip de Silva, a warlock of three centuries of age, who's brother's were dead just eight years ago, he still wanted to find justice but he thirsts more for revenge.

Just beside him, with the same age, was a vampire. Sebastian Leinth who still has amnesia and can't remember his past.

Inside the yellow taxi was Natalia Mayari, a witch older than the latter who just sucked the life essence of her doppelganger eight years ago. She never wanted to but because of her dying body she has no choice. It was after escaping the De Silva facility. The same facility where Philip's brother's were killed.

Moving to the sidewalk, were a long haired man met with his best friend friend. They were Red and Slage, both much older than the latter three. Slage, a vampire, came from a long line of Lackey's of the Gods as well as Red, a werewolf who still retained his scottish accent. Today was their day off and they love hanging out in this little area's cafe when they're not tearing other monsters apart.

Beside them was an angry blonde assassin, she was arguing with her girlfriend who's on the other of the phone. Heidi was working for Anansi, the spider god and today was her day off too but it seems she would not be getting any since she was pissed off. She needed to do punch—kill something.

So that was the people Kyle would soon meet in the future, maybe that's why he felt something at the back of his head.

Kyle immediately recognized that voice. The man approached him a few weeks earlier asking for his services. The man knew of his background and the true reason why he quit the military.

Across the street where the cafe, Slage and Red were to go, Toffee Ricci, also a vampire lackey and a descendant of the Minoan Snake goddess, dialed with his phone and waited for the man across the street to answer.

The man also dug up his records. Kyle did something horrible back at the academy back then that's why he decided to stop but he never told anyone that.

he was definitely dressed as a highlighter one halloween in highschool and wore all his typical middle school boy neon clothes (you know the ones). thought he was a comedian for that one

maybe he’d like wearing a minecraft-themed sort of fit , like he’s a cactus and youre steve and you make prick jokes all night

kind of one brand tbh…

maybe you being two minecraft flowers could be a cuter one though, little bit more wholesome!

he’s for sure a scary adventure park enjoyer

takes you to one of those awful ones where the scary dressed people try to fight you and scare you

he’s the resident Big Man but metaphorically shits his pants when someone comes after him with a chainsaw

spends the rest of the night drinking an apple cider slushee and huddling close to you as you two watch small children jump like two feet in the air from a dude in a clown costume (come on, it’s a little funny)

he’s like jim from the office on halloween. usually lazy and wearing whatever he wants

he definitely has pulled that name tag shit and wrote “ur mom’s bf” on it or something

literally begged you to dress up as two among us avatars

he doesn’t feel like doing any sort of party or function on halloween, so it’s really alright if you two have joke costumes

he does get you to venture on a walk later, hoping that strangers will think you’re kids trick or treating and maybe give you some free candy

but eventually you return home (with a mars bar from a mom dressed as grapes!) and settle in for the night

you just watch scream and shove candy down your throat the whole night. george insists you watch the conjuring but spends the last half of the movie hiding behind his fingers and jumping every time you absentmindedly play with the hairs on the back of his neck

he’s going as a pokémon trainer and that’s that.

you’re dressed as his favorite pokémon (i can’t remember it even though i sweated all of his pokémon streams don’t hate me) and it’s kind of a great play on words! he catches the light of his life by chance of a pokéball ;)

fixes his hat all night and fusses over if you can see his hair on the sides (“it’s too long Y/N!!! should i cut it off” which is just absurd)

he’s more of a partier on halloween; he wants to show off the brilliance that is your couples’ costume to anyone and everyone

interrogates strangers on if they know who you two are and actually ends up making friends with this IT person who could talk power ups literally all night and they truly do

goes home feeling very loved because not only does he now have a new pokémon nerd to vent to but you got him a toffee apple and held hands with him the whole way home

I finally finished AVSP after 4 MONTHS. The whole part where MC tries to find out who sent that article was too obvious and stupid. That douche chef sprite was gonna be used as THAT GUY. Simon was just as boring and was not interesting. The only reason to marry him is his titles. DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON NIGEL. I could not stand his toffee ass the whole dayum time. Then the grandparents were rude since day 1. The book was so boring and dragged out I don’t know how I did it but at least I got my diamonds for banging Gabe Ricci 🙃

I was doing Toffee Ricci’s CAS for my flashback scene. But then I realized he almost looked like Goro Majima (Yakuza!) I was wheezing!!! Toffee originally was made for Sebastian Michaelis sim but he looks too good to be just left alone! And yes I got the name Toffee from Star vs. the Forces of Evil. He was a wasted villain, one of my favorites.

Back when the Lackey, Toffee Ricci had offered Kyle Grayson a job only an ex-millitary like him could do he refused. He might be a former millitary man but it doesn't fit his code, moreover he was a detective at that time. Then he got suspended. [see chapter 1] it didn't make things easier for his life since he's the only one who can support his mother who was in a coma. His younger brother wasn't much help either, he's busy switching courses with his college degree so he's still in school. Sometimes Kyle thought he's just doing that to avoid having responsibilities as an adult. He could be mad at him but he couldn't disown him as a brother. The two of them are the only ones he's got left.

That's why when Ricci offered him a job to dispatch more like observe the killer of his father, a former detective in the force, he said yes. The pay could help him with the bills and he could finally get his revenge. What happened at the hospital tonight was a stroke of luck and overwhelming of emotions. But someone was with him. When he first observed his target, Sir Ricci told him to never go near or go inside the mansion. He doesn't know why but he obeyed. When Sebastian Leinth went out, he was inside an ambulance. He thought he was just wounded by the trespassing woman but it turns out they know each other.

The woman had thrown a molotov and a flashbang at him and he was lucky they didn't kill him back there. Now, he was sitting inside the hospital where his mother sleeps in a coma.

"Kyle..." his mother called.

"Ma..!" he called back.

Then his phone rang. Another order came from his employer and it said, "Grayson. Party at the auction the day after tomorrow. Wear a suit."

He looked up at him mother with sad eyes, "I gotta go ma. William will take the next watch."

He got up still reluctant to go but he should, and exited the room, then the building.

The elf demanded. They were standing on each side of the room but the tone of insistence reached Toffee which he only softly laughed at, amused. He walked to the nearest chair and sat himself.

Toffee waited for his temper to go down while he pour himself another drink. He took his time to finish one sip, smirking as he did so, and then rested the glass on a bended knee.

The vampire teasingly called the woman out of the shadows. Lisa walked out bearing a sledgehammer within her grasp and went straight not to her lover but to the one sitting across him.
