THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS, I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS ABOUT MY SON:

How I feel about this character: ah, the character I project most of my trauma onto. Poor son, he doesn’t deserve that… Oh well. No, but overall I think he’s a pretty good character. He’s had a lot of character development over the course of the series, and has a lot to go I’m sure. Especially in the past few chapters. I want to hug him.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: shintododeku, my beloved. I also like todoiideku, but my main is tododeku or shintododeku

Y’all, y ‘ a l l ! ! ! Dude I just,,, as basic as it sounds, I have loved tododeku since the beginning of the series. I just love their chemistry and their interactions. Shindeku is also something I loved since the beginning, I just feel like their personalities are very complimentary. I also feel like shinsou and Todoroki’s personalities are very complimentary but in a very different way. So shintododeku is my OTP, and I would die for them. I am also writing headcannons for them

My non-romantic OTP for this character: kaminari/Todoroki and todomomo

Kamitodo: dude,,, I love them so much. Kaminari generates bad ideas, and Shouto has enough spite and doesn’t listen to authority, so he follows said ideas. Also, just imagine Shouto having a crush, but he doesn’t know it’s a crush,, and he goes to kami? Like,

Todoroki: kaminari, lately I’ve been having heart palpitations when I am around izuku. My face also gets warm, and I always feel dizzy. Am I allergic to Midoriya or something?

Kaminari, fully knowing what’s happening: I don’t know, man; you should go to recovery girl

Todomomo has also been the mlm wlw solidarity of my dreams since the beginning. Just,, imagine wlw mlm todomomo and izujirou?? They complain about their crushes to each other.

Izuku dramatically flopping onto Jirou’ she’s: jirouuuu, he smiled at me today

Jirou: I know man, she laughed at my joke and I thought I had a religious experience.

My unpopular opinion about this character: he’s genderfluid!!!! I originally headcanoned nonbinary Shouto, but have recently been introduced to genderfluid Shouto, and I love it with my entire soul.

One thing I wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon: I wish we get to see more izuku or someone else standing up for him. Like,, my son has been through so freaking much, and I just want someone to be there for him, and tel him that he’s going to be okay, and that he’s strong, snd can do this. I have so many feelings about this, I’m sorry. I also want to see more of him learning how to be a teenager. Like,, kaminari showing him social media, and he just starts a conspiracy theory blog, and makes random shit posts, and posts thoughts that pop into his head during the day? I love it. And sarcastic Shouto

Love in Centimeters

Title: Love in Centimeters

Pairing:Todoroki/Iida/Midoriya

Summary: Todoroki treasures his memories of Midoriya and Iida kissing.

A/N: Self-indulgent TodoIiDeku will save me from grad school hell.

One of Todoroki’s favorite sights to see is Midoriya getting onto his tiptoes, and Iida leaning down just enough to let Midoriya kiss him.  It’s always a quick affair, and they always go a bit pink afterward, but over the course of their relationship Todoroki’s watched the exchange go from awkward and stiff, to relaxed and seamless.  

Presented are two illustrations to act as evidence, as pulled from Todoroki’s memories of this quietly beloved occurrence:

A memory from their first month of dating.  At this point Midoriya has kissed Iida and Todoroki exactly once each, after returning home from their first date.  The impetus for the action had been obvious then, but now there doesn’t seem to really be a reason for Midoriya to want to kiss Iida, and maybe that’s why Iida doesn’t quite realize there's a purpose behind Midoriya looking up at him with such determination.  After a moment of intense but ultimately futile staring, Midoriya finally sighs, taps Iida’s shoulder, and says, in a quiet but certain voice, “C-can I kiss you?”

Iida is struck uncharacteristically silent for a moment, his mouth hanging open with no words coming out.  After the moment it takes him to get his brain back online, Iida snaps his jaw shut and gives a firm nod. Permission granted, Midoriya takes a single, determined step into Iida’s personal space, places his hands on Iida’s broad shoulders, and rocks up onto his tiptoes.  His task is made more difficult by Iida’s nervous posture, his shoulders tense and back ramrod straight, but Midoriya still manages to land a kiss just below the corner of Iida’s mouth.

Iida’s face goes pink, and then red when Midoriya (glowing similarly) mumbles, “Um, down here, Iida,” and dares to take one hand off Iida’s shoulder in favor of guiding Iida’s face down to a more favorable angle for kissing.  

A more recent memory, from this very morning: Midoriya stands at the kitchen sink, rinsing the remnants of coffee out of his mug, when Iida strides in, breathing hard from his morning run.  He goes over to the sink too, empty water bottle in hand and ready to be filled.  They move together now, Midoriya rising up on his toes as Iida tilts his head down, no words or corrections needed for them to succeed in sharing a brief, sweet kiss, before Midoriya turns off the warm water tap and walks away to put his mug on the drying rack. 

Todoroki still remembers the breathlessness, the fascination of watching them kiss the first time.  Many, many kisses later, he still finds it hard to breathe.

A third memory, where Todoroki doesn’t merely watch, but assists:

“I hope I get taller soon,” Midoriya says as they walk back to the dorms after a bit of extracurricular training.  He glances at Todoroki, frowns, then turns his stare to Iida, and frowns more.  “And I hope you two don’t get any taller at all.”

“Why Midoriya!” Iida declares, hands gesturing at full speed, “What’s brought this on?  Such sentiments really don’t seem like you at all!”  

Midoriya sighs, “It’s just--you already have to lean down just to kiss me, and if Todoroki gets any taller, he will too!  But if just I get taller, that’ll solve everything.”

Todoroki considers his family, and what he knows of Iida’s, and thinks to himself that it’s likely both of them will get very nearly to two meters before either of them stop growing.  Midoriya’s case is a little more ambiguous, so maybe there’s hope for him, but Todoroki suspects he’ll top off in the 170s.  180, if he's lucky.

“I assure you, it’s quite alright!” Iida says, “I don’t mind at all!  In fact, I hold all of our differences, including those of stature, near and dear to my heart!”

Midoriya squeaks, pressing his hands to his reddening cheeks.  “I-Iida, that’s...!”

Todoroki is struck with flusterment, yes, but also with inspiration.  “There are other workarounds, too,” he says, approaching Midoriya’s back.  Midoriya looks back at him, confused, but Todoroki doesn’t explain with words, merely puts his hands firmly on Midoriya’s waist and asks, “May I demonstrate?”    

Midoriya, realizing what Todoroki intends to do, looks forward and covers his face again, but nods.  

It’s easy then--though not as easy as Todoroki admittedly anticipated because tiny, lithe Midoriya is actually a solid block of muscle--to lift Midoriya up until he’s at eye-level with Iida.  

“There,” Todoroki says, feeling accomplished, and a bit silly, and sort of proud to have achieved a relationship where silliness is comfortable, “Now Iida doesn’t have to lean down.”

“I guess, but..” Midoriya says, taking his hands away from his face to place them on Iida’s shoulders.  His voice goes a bit softer when his gaze catches Iida’s, “But this is really missing the point...”

“I quite like this solution,” Iida says, and takes a moment to catch Todoroki’s eye over Midoriya’s shoulder, “It’s very whimsical!”

Midoriya coaxes Iida into his space, his arms wrapping loosely around the other's neck as he says, “Well, as long as you like it,” before pressing his smile against Iida’s, his laughter muffled against Iida’s mouth, reverberating under Todoroki’s hands.  

Later, when they’ve resumed their trek towards the dorms with Midoriya’s bouncing steps leading the way, Iida mutters, tone wistful and a bit forlorn, “He will get taller, though, I suppose.”

Todoroki nods.  “We should cherish what we have.”

“I’m going to kiss him every day,” Iida declares, resolutely. Then, somewhat unexpectedly, he busses Todoroki’s temple.  “And you as well.”

Todoroki doesn’t say anything.  Doesn’t know what to say.  So he just takes Iida’s broad hand into his, and hopes that says enough.

So when Katsuki and Izuku come over for dinner she sends Shouto a text that's like

"I told you to bring the tall nerd".

And Shouto responds

"I thought you said to bring the one that calls Izuku a damn nerd. I thought it was a weird request, the other one makes so much more sense".
