it’s rough so i’m sorry in advance😅 if anyone happens to know which vlog this is please let me know below, i spent hours trying to find it and nothing!

you never drank. sure all of your friends were really into the party scene, and sure you’d occasionally act like a crackhead with Zane and Heath. despite all that though you’d never actually been drunk. not to the point of dealing with hangovers and lost memories of the night before. because of this you tended to gravitate toward people like Erin, David, or Jeff at parties when you didn’t want to fake it for the vlog.

however tonight Erin wanted to get plastered and Jeff couldn’t make it, yes you could’ve just hung out with David. But hanging out at a party with David is the equivalent to hanging out alone with David. sure there would be drunk adults breaking shit and screaming all around you, but nobody would be nearly as sober as you and David. everyone in your friend group constantly made fun of you for how flustered you got around the shaggy haired goofball. so a general rule you made for yourself was to keep conversations and one-on-one time with David to a minimum.

so now you’re here. hanging with the girls about to down your fifth shot of vodka. or was it tequila? who knows you’re five shots in and you. are. feeling. it. five shots quickly turned into six. and the seven. and before you can count to ten, you’ve lost count completely. next thing you know, a bunch of you are in David’s, and of course he’s filming everything. you’re laying upside down off the bed when you hear david start talking.

“i don’t think i’ve ever seen you guys truly drunk.” and you don’t know why, maybe it’s the liquid coursing through your body, or maybe it’s the frustration from keeping your feelings hidden, but his comment angered you. you begin to sit up from where you were hanging, until you slipped off and landed on the floor with a loud thud. David’s camera catching everything while he laughs at your drunken misfortune. eventually Todd comes up to you and helps you back on the bed, and just before you can give David a piece of your mind, Erin beats you to the punch.

“well that’s cause you’re a fucking pussy.”

“yeah” i yelled at the camera.

“honestly. get a fucking life.” Erin added.

“Jesus, you guys are so drunk.”

“no i’m not drunk, you’re just blurry!” you defended.

as soon as the words left your mouth you could feel the contents from the night rising up from your stomachs. you quickly jumped off the bed and ran into the bathroom, locking the door behind you barely making it to the toilet in time. as soon as your friends heard you throwing up they approach the door to try and help you but found it to be locked. they tried to convince you to unlock the door but every time you tried to get up to unlock it you started to throw up again. eventually you heard some arguing outside the door and then a loud bang as Todd kicked down the door.

after thirty minutes in the bathroom with Todd you were feeling good enough to go home. so Todd helped you stand up and helped Carly get you and Erin into her car before she drove you all home. before you knew it you were awoken by your bedroom door slamming open and Carly yelling for you to wake up.

“good morning Vietnam! i brought you water, painkillers, and proof of your poor decisions!” Carly dang out holding her phone up.

“what are you talking about?” you questioningly groaned out. suddenly Todd’s image appeared on her screen.

“Hello?”

“hey what are you guys doing right now?” Todd’s voice spoke out into the room.

“curing baby’s first hangover, why what’s up?” Carly asked ruffling your hair up.

“Jeff wanted you guys to go hiking with us but i’m sure y/n isn’t up for that right now” Todd chuckled.

“have you shown her the clip David sent of me breaking down his bathroom door?” Todd asked.

you shot up from your spot on the bed and grabbed the phone from Carly’s hands.

“you did WHAT?”

“i’m gonna take that as a no, feel better y/n/n!” Todd called out before hanging up.

I looked up at Carly for confirmation to which her only response was a simple shrug of the shoulders. with that she took her phone back and walked out of the bedroom

‘well. hopefully it’ll make the vlog’ you thought as you took painkillers and fell back asleep to sleep off your hangover.

‘’Hey guys. Today I am buying my girlfriend, Y/n, a brand-new car. The one she has now is literally being held together by duct tape. She’s had that car for six year, and her mom had it for ten before that. As many of you guys know, Y/n’s mom passed six years ago and that was her mom’s car. !!Y/n’s POV!!

‘’Hey, guys.’’ I walk into the Scott, Todd, and Jason’s house. We’re going to just hang out a film. There’s nothing planned, but knowing my boyfriend, David, he will come up with something interesting for us to film. I have a YouTube channel that I post on every Sunday and Wednesday. I’ve been on YouTube for about five years. I started soon after my mom died. It made me happy and helped with my depression. I’ve got 7 million subscribers, and about the same on Instagram. I’ve been dating David for three years, and he’s helped me, as I have helped him.  

‘’Hey, Y/n.’’ I smile at the group of my best friends.  

‘’Hi, babe.’’ I sit next to David and kiss his cheek. He smiles back to me and grabs my hand.  

‘’Any ideas for what we’re filming today?’’ I turn to Jason, as he asked a question. I shrug and look at David.  

‘’I don’t know. Maybe we should do something about the car that I bought.’’

‘’You didn’t.’’ Heath says in disbelief.

‘’Who did you get it for?’’ I ask him excited. I love when he does this. It makes me so happy to see my friends happy. I hope he got it for Jason, Jason has been part of the vlogs for forever, and he always does the greatest bits, and he definitely deserves it. I see David’s camera is out, which I didn’t notice it before. 

‘’I got it for you.’’ I look at him confused, and he pulls his camera closer to my face. He dangle keys in my face, and I stare at them in disbelief.

‘’No, you didn’t, David.’’ I look at the others, and see some of them nodding, the ones that knew. ‘’David?’’ He nods, and I put my head in my hands, and feel the tears falling into them. He bought me a car. He knows about the one from my mom, I don’t know if I can take it. It’s the only thing I have left of her, and I can’t part from it.

‘’Come on, let’s go see it.’’ He stands, then pulls me with him. I follow him, not wanting to object.

‘’David, I can’t take this car.’’ I tell him.  

‘’Why not? Y/n, I bought this car for you. Have you seen the car you have now?’’  

‘’You know why. David, the one I have is my mom’s car. I can’t just not use it anymore. It’s a beautiful car, and I don’t want to mess up the videos, but… I don’t know.’’ I put my head in my hands again in distress.  

‘’Y/n.’’ He whispers, and I look up at him. He doesn’t have his camera, so I assume he handed it to someone.

‘’I’m sorry. I love what you did, and I love the car, but I just can’t do that to my mom.’’

‘’I knew that you were going to say this, so take a look on the inside of the car.’’ He takes his camera back and follows me to the car. I open the driver seat door, and I see David go on the other side.  

‘’Ohh.’’ I cover my mouth at the site. The car has the same chevron pattern on the seats, the white steering wheel cover, a ‘Shine Brighter Than The Stare Above’ sticker on the dashboard, and the pink duct tape that I used for decoration on the rear view mirror. It’s just like my mom’s car, missing a few details, but he put in the ones that made me happy. I look up at David and see him smiling at me. I start to cry and get out of the car. ‘’Thank you, David. I love it. Thank you.’’ I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him into me.  

‘’No problem, Y/n. I’m glad you like it. The stuff in there is new but gives the same feel.’’ He turns off his camera and hugs me again. Everyone looks at the car, but David and I stay where we are.  

‘’Thank you so much, David. I love you, and I love that you did this for me.’’ I kiss him for a few seconds before pulling back.

‘’I love you too, Y/n. So much. I’m glad you like the car, now go and drive it.’’ I smile and kiss his cheek before going back to the car.
