Satan is using THIS tactic to make your marriage UNHAPPY… In this video, Todd Friel reviews several key points from Paul Tripp’s book “What Did You Expect?”, and gives his perspective on the topic as a Bible-believing Christian. 🤔

Is it good to have humor on a Christian channel? See Todd Friel/Wretched as an example.
I see no biblical reason for it to be an issue. Elijah used humorous satire against the false prophets of his day as did Paul and even Jesus. God Himself sits in heaven and laughs at the wicked (Ps 37:13). Cheerfulness is good medicine and laughter is a gift of God just like everything else (Ecc 3:4) As long as we aren’t following the world’s corrupted sense of humor, mocking things God created to be holy or finding delight in things that are crass or sinful (Eph 5:4), then it is a powerful tool and a gift to be enjoyed.

These guys, these...."preachers", all play this game. They give a sermon on deception, the whole time, deceiving. Or....they will call out OTHER preachers for being deceivers or false teachers. All these pastors like Meyer, Cain, White, MacArthur, Friel, TBN, CBN, Evans, Voddie, Mike Todd, and on and on and on, they are a business. They care about as much as your soul and preaching the Word of God, as our politicians care about us living a free prosperous life. It is ALL BULLSHIT. It is as real as professional wrestling. Avoid these people at all cots.

Margaret and Bill Sneddon emailed a photo from Connecticut: "Hi, Marc, Enjoying your podcast aboard our sailboat, Isle of Skye, docked today at Pilot's Point in Westbrook, CT"
Peter Wood replied to a post on Facebook: "So I'm sitting here listening to the podcast on Pocket Casts as I have for years and I hear that Podcast Addict, Amazon Music, and Patreon are the only Android apps you can listen to the show on?
There's still an RSS feed easily linked on the website too, so any non - cloud based podcatcher should be able to subscribe too. I recently installed AntennaPod because I'm considering moving from Pocket Casts and I see this show among my imported subscriptions like any other."
Corey Fitch emailed: "Hi Marc, I’ve been listening to your podcast for the past year or so and its been keeping me great company on my drive to work! We had a big family celebration last year. It was our 250th anniversary on our small family farm in New Hampshire—my kids are the 10th generation living on the farm. For musical entertainment, we had the Jordan TW Trio (led by Jordan Tirrell - Wysocki) and they were absolutely fantastic—everyone was up dancing and they ended the night with an beautiful acapella Parting Glass. I haven’t heard them on the podcast yet so I figured I would put the plug in to get them in the rotation. Thank you for everything you do!"

Maybe the most ridiculous quote from any religious debate I've ever heard... via /r/atheism
Maybe the most ridiculous quote from any religious debate I've ever heard...
...And I've watched like twenty debates with Kent Hovind, so that's really saying something. This is from a debate between Todd Friel and Dan Barker; apparently Friel is affiliated with Ray Comfort's The Way of the Master, and boy does this whole debate just vividly show how nonsensical that is. But here's the money quote from Friel:
I don't think I did my job right tonight. [Atheists in the audience applaud.] I don't, because I keep hearing Dan say that hell is a threat and it's not reasonable, and I keep hearing you applaud. Then let me try to make myself crystal clear; I'm not here tonight to scare you into believing in Jesus Christ. Make no mistake about it, you should be horrified of hell. As sure as you're sitting here, it exists. There will be a day of judgment when the just judge of all the world will judge all people according to what they have done. You know there's a creation, your conscience affirms it. You will get what you deserve. But I'm not encouraging you to flee to the savior because you're afraid of hell; flee to him because he's so kind to save you from hell!
It just astounds me that a person can say that sequence of words out loud and not recognize what complete and utter double-talk they're spouting. "Hell is not a threat, but you should be afraid of hell." "You shouldn't become a Christian because you're afraid of hell, you should become a Christian because Jesus will save from hell!" Insanity.

Nacer Talel messaged me with a photo on Facebook: "Listening from Tunisia , I am Tunisian and super fan of the podcast and the culture . Keep it up guys !"
Mike Coombs messaged me: "Hi Marc, I’m listening to your brilliant podcast for the first time in ages, recovering from an awful week of covid  -  it’s still with us and very real. I’ve been vaccinated and had the booster shots and I’m pretty fit but it was still awful, so goodness knows what it would have been like if hadn’t been vaccinated!
Anyway I just wanted to say how uplifting and healing it is to listen to such great music. Thank you so much for producing this. I can afford to subscribe only a small amount each month but it is worth very much more.
As a musician myself I appreciate how much a show like this can help what is not the most popular music in the world  -  even though it should be  -  to come to the attention of more people. It is great to hear so many great musicians and tunes that I have never heard before. You just mentioned Heather Dale whose album  Fairytale I bought after hearing her on your show  so I shall make sure to check out your next podcast! When I am better I shall probably send you an old recorded track of mine that you may want to play. I am hoping to get an album mastered as soon as I can afford it, but this track I think fits the Celtic criteria so it would be interesting to see what you and your listeners if you decide to play it think.
All the best and keep producing these great podcasts "
