He sat in the kitchen of his apartment, alone, in the dark, drumming his fingers on the table. He'd made stupid, stupid plans today, and did an even stupider thing earlier while trying to keep his head level enough for it. He'd agreed to stage a kidnapping, to draw Izakk out so Handy- Valence, Valence could fight him.

He shifted in his seat, wincing slightly. Yeah...maybe aggravating a Wolverine into stabbing him a few times wasn't the best idea, but the wounds, the blood, would help sell that he was really in danger. That H- Valence had really, actually kidnapped him.

That thought was comforting, in the unhinged "I have to put in episodes with my bestie so they don't install a new sinkhole" kind of way. It was definitely hard to exist right when your best friend turned into a manic terrorist with a main character complex.

He sighed, glancing at the clock. Would it be rude to yell at someone for making you wait so long to get kidnapped?

Nevermind, that sentence itself was completely batfuck insane.

3. Oh my god, she learnt how to knit a while back and so everything was normal stuff like she knit me mittens and a hat and she knitted herself a jumper but then she knitted me a gun cozy and a sword cover and she knitted a bag with so many pockets for you know, snow. It was so funny that I almost shit my pants when she’d pull out baggies of this bright pink bag.

Izakk hums and nods along as he draws, now drawing little stars on his paper. Happy to have something to distract him even though he didn't want anyone to talk to today.

Izakk sits in his bed, drawing a picture of him and his old friends Paige and Dare from his world. He sighs as he thinks about the last time he saw them.

Paige and Dare stare in shock as Izakk takes off his helmet. He takes a deep sigh and looks at them. "...I'm Guard Dog." He says hesitantly, immediately met by a slap to the face from Paige.

"Guard Dog!? Guard Dog!? The psycho who works with Hood!? The guy who's worse than Hood!?" She yells.

"Izakk what the hell? How could you be him? How could you be this?" Dare asks, looking afraid of him.

Izakk shakes his head and scribbles over the drawing. There's no point, they stopped being his friends a long time ago. He hadn't spoken to them for a year when he got here.

They had never had a problem with Red Hood or Guard Dog before. Why was it different when they learned it was him? Why does he always make everything worse?
