every visit to my moms place is an opportunity to welcome beautiful new invertebrates into my Seek by iNaturalist app. Unfortunately they are all indoors and I prefer not to meet them there as I am easily spooked by unfamiliar invertebrates.

#tag #today i welcomes a lesser stag beetle and a spotted orbweaver #mx orbweaver is uh. very large and very prominent in the bathroom #luckily i showered in the morning and so can skip tonight to let mx orbweaver have their space #tbf the office/guestbedroom and the 2nd bathroom are the last rooms in the house left unrenovated #there are far fewer invertebrates in the rest of the house as most of the house is much better at being Indoors now
