I love that I can use my full linguistic repertoire with my boyfriend, like we speak English to each other but he's learning Swedish and most of the time single words in Italian or French are close enough to Portuguese for him to understand so it's truly <33 a big win
#Dutch and Latin not so much but also not so much for me either let's be honest#I never remember a word only in Dutch so haha#written and sometimes dubbed Portugese is often understandable to me but to a degree you know#we were going for a walk the other day and I was like piscina.... tobogan.... ferrovia...#my most langblr move was when I deleted tinder and downloaded duolingo like that as a langblr goals text post in 2015 would've hit haha#(sorry I just realized I've been in this community for 8+ years lmao SCREAM anyway)#snicksnack
