fellow tobias x carmelo shippers assemble.
i was just sitting here and wondering… what’s tobias x carmelo’s ship name? 😱 i’ve seen it referred to as tobimelo but i also don’t know how “official” that is BAHAHA. i honestly don’t interact with the ghost eyes fandom often bcz it is such a small fandom let alone other tobias x carmelo shippers.
so here’s some ship names i’ve created for funsies !!
- Tarmelias or Tomelias (this one’s pretty creative /gen but i think it’s a little too complicated. tho it’s my fav so i’ll just use it personally probs)
- Tobmelo or Tomelo (this one’s eh)
- Carmias (ooh i like)
- Carbias (this one’s alright!)
anyways thanks for coming to my TED talk! here’s a pic of one of my older tobias x carmelo art >w< !

wait make a tier list of ghost eyes ships,, from the ones you like the most to best
i’m gonna assume you meant from my favorites to least favorites…? idk that’s just how i understood this ANYWAY
whatever dwayne x francis’s ship name is — 10/10. not adding anything else cause there’s honestly nothing to add
tobimelo — 7.5/10. i don’t really have any problems with this ship. compared to others, it’s definitely not the worst one out there. while i’m not the biggest fan of tobi in relationships, if it HAD to happen i wouldn’t be horrifically upset if it was with carmelo, if that makes sense. my only problem is the play scene, and it may have been edburt, but carmelo obviously wasn’t aware of that.
rudias — 6/10. i’m very very conflicted on this one. so yes and no to it. had the halloween thing not happen, i’d probably be a little more open minded to rudias. here’s why i’m not. besides the attempted murder, i just think tobias is considered too violent and too unreliable for rudy. i’m not saying they’re not good as friends, in fact i loved when their friendship was still good and even making progress. i just think it’s not likely for them to be in a healthy relationship but it’s only a 6 because there are worse ones.
rudymilio — 5/10. okay the thing with me is i don’t even like relationships with rudy period. but this one, i don’t like specifically because i don’t get it. mostly because of emilio’s stalker-like personality with everybody, which. probably wouldn’t end in a relationship with rudy or anybody tbh
rudymelo — 2/10. i like carmelo as a character, right? not saying i excuse or approve of his actions, but when he’s not an asshole, i like him. but what i can’t ignore is that his treatment literally drove rudy to suicidal thoughts. he even debated suicide until he heard his mother and tobias’ voices. like even if carmelo does get better later on, it still doesn’t erase that.
tobimilio — 0/10. nobody in the world could compete with me on the level of hatred when it comes to tobimilio i’m so sorry. to shorten it, tobi could not handle being in a relationship and taking care of someone who’s just as mentally unstable as he is which is emilio. + the whole sa scene — there’s not much to say with that part.

THE MARRIAGE TOBIAS SCHNEIEN X FEM!READER(this is my first fanfic on here)
The schneien family and the (l/n) family had a bond that was very hard to explain. Both families lived in the woods and away from society, Tobias didn’t seem very fond of (y/n) they may have been the same age but to him she would just get in the way of his life. The (l/n) family was very strict when it came to going out,When they found out that Tobias’s family sent him to school they were very shocked.
Time skip
The (l/n) family had the honor of meeting Tobias’s friends and their families (y/n) didn’t really like them that much so she stayed away “hey Tobi why is she glaring at me” Rudy whispered to Tobias, confused he turned to see you “I’m not sure” Tobias replied just when you thought ruby was going to leave the front door opened to reveal three more family’s one being the Schneien family the other to where the DeMonte and Murkmere family “well would you look at that more people” your sister said “now now girls that’s not a nice way to great our guest why don’t you to head to the dining room with the boys” your mom said motioning y'all to the dining room. It was a very awkward silence once you all sat down in the dining room “so how do y’all know Tobias” emilio asked you just stared at him so your sister responded “well our family’s are very close and we've practically known him since we were only four.
After the very short conversation Carmelo asked a question “so does she like talk at all or what it’s kinda freaking me out” he said pointing at you “well you see she doesn’t really like talking to people that much” your sister replied,
Time skip (again)
Everyone that had come over was now in the dining room eating and talking you didn’t really care what was going on until you dad stude up holding his glass up in the air “A toast to family bonds, and years to come” he paused and looked at Tobias’s dad and then at you with a face that looked like it said ‘i’m only trying to help you’ “and to the newly wedds” you along with everyone else was confused until he finished his sentence “may (y/n) (l/n) and Tobias Schneien live a long and healthy life full of love” people were so shocked at what he said you were even choking on your drink “i’m sorry NEWLY WEDDS” you mom shouted “calm down mr.(l/n) me and your husband decided it would make the family bond stronger if they married” said Tobias’s father “THERE ONLY CHILDREN” Tobias’s mother said, people were arguing standing up and yelling about how it was wrong, you couldn’t take it so you ran out of the room Tobias seemed to notice and he followed you.
You ran from the dining room all the way to a horse that always came over to your house “what are you doing” Tobias said, you panicked not expecting to see him “i’m leaving… if i’m gone them they can’t make us marry each other and I know you probably wouldn't want to marry me” you said as tears threatened to fall from your eyes “take me with you” he said you looked at him confused “if we both leave then I know they won’t be able to make us marry each other” he said as he climbed the horse eventually sitting behind you, and then the horse started running
The family’s were to busy arguing that they didn’t notice y’all left until “hey where did Tobias and (y/n) go” someone yelled they started to panic first going threw the house looking everywhere but y’all where no where to be found
Time skip
It had started raining and the horse was still running until Tobias grabbed the lead you had and started pulling in back “HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING, ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL US” you yelled but he didn’t respond he only kept pulling until the horse gave up and threw both of you off it’s back. “What the hell tobias why did you do that” you asked looking at him “you don’t want to leave your family I can tell” he said looking at the ground, it started to rain harder when you realized you had no idea wear you were or how to get back, y’all were lost you began to lose hope until you felt arms around you “what are you doing” you said “you looked cold so I wanted to help” he paused “you know I wouldn’t mind marrying you” Tobias said, before you could say anything his lips met yours, it didn’t take long for you to melt into the kiss. After you pulled away you stayed silent and just cuddled up close to each other to avoid getting cold.
Time skip
When you woke up you were in your room, you sat up only to see Tobias next to you
‘Maybe this isn’t so bad’

Fantasy Basketball position tiers: Small forward values for 2017-18
Tumblr media
Kawhi Leonard is among a group of small forwards that can do it all. (Photo by Ronald Cortes/Getty Images)
Alex Rikleen, RotoWire Special to Yahoo Sports
Before we get into the 2017-18 small forward tiers, here are a few notes to keep in mind:
Overall, the tiers cover players projected to rank roughly among the top 120 overall. Within each tier, players are generally listed in the order in which they should be drafted. Of course, come draft night, team construction and roster constraints must be take into account.
[Now’s the time to sign up for Fantasy Basketball! Join for free]
Unless otherwise noted, players are listed only within the positions at which they are currently eligible in Yahoo Fantasy Basketball leagues. Tiers and season rankings are tailored to nine-category league settings.
Most players are ranked within the tiers at more than one position, rather than only their primary position, which is oftentimes arbitrary. Players who do not have multiple-position eligibility are denoted with an asterisk.
[Positional tiers: PGs | SGs | SFs | PFs | Cs]
Tier I: Possible No. 1 Overall Picks
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks Kevin Durant, Warriors Kawhi Leonard, Spurs
Antetokounmpo is currently eligible at power forward and small forward, but he could add point guard and shooting guard eligibility as the season goes on, a possibility that would increase his value even further. Durant has been a top-five player every year since his rookie season, and has achieved the top overall per game fantasy producer spot five times. Leonard has put together back-to-back top five seasons, and the new schedule changes by the NBA should reduce the number of late-season games he misses for rest.
Tier II: Top-15 Upside
LeBron James, Cavaliers Jimmy Butler, Timberwolves Paul George, Thunder
There is a big gap between the top two small forward tiers. While the first tier featured possible first overall picks, this tier features guys who shouldn’t be considered until the start of the second round. These three players are directly impacted by the offseason’s three blockbuster trades, with Butler and George finding new homes, and James acquiring a new point guard and a backup who would start on almost any other team. When elite players change teams, there is often an adjustment period, during which stats could suffer. But all three of these players are top-15 NBA talents, and that will probably be reflected in their box scores by the end of the season – if not earlier.
Tier III: Foundational Building Blocks
Gordon Hayward, Celtics Draymond Green, Warriors Klay Thompson, Warriors
Though unlikely to be the best player on a fantasy roster, all three of these could be the second-best on a championship squad. These powerhouses don’t kill you in any one area and can each carry a team in a specific category. Hayward is the least specialized of the three, but he is a near-elite free-throw shooter, and only four players who finished above him in fantasy scoring recorded fewer turnovers per game. Thompson is one of the best three-point shooters in the league, and he was one of the four to finish ahead of Hayward with fewer turnovers. Green is a defensive stalwart, who ranked third in the league in combined steals-plus-blocks per game.
There is a massive gulf between Tier III and Tier IV. In a standard 12-team draft, all of Tier III could go in the second round, while the first player from Tier IV isn’t taken until the late-fourth. If you want an elite option at small forward, you must grab a player from one of top three tiers.
Tier IV: Productive Veterans
Otto Porter, Wizards Khris Middleton, Bucks Gary Harris, Nuggets Trevor Ariza, Rockets Nicolas Batum, Hornets DeMar DeRozan, Raptors
With the exception of DeRozan, this tier consists of well-balanced players likely to see a ton of minutes. Minutes won’t be an issue for DeRozan, but he’s hardly balanced – almost all of his fantasy value comes from his scoring and free-throw shooting. His only major drawback is a near-complete lack of three-point production, and he provides merely replacement-level help in rebounds and steals.
Middleton stands out from this group as a player who could significantly outperform the rest of this group. He only saw action in 29 games last season while recovering from a torn hamstring, but he didn’t miss a beat when he returned in February.
Tier V: High-Risk, High-Reward
Harrison Barnes, Mavericks Carmelo Anthony, Knicks Jabari Parker, Bucks Danilo Gallinari, Clippers Tobias Harris, Pistons Robert Covington, 76ers Jae Crowder, Cavaliers Rudy Gay, Kings
All eight players in this tier also carried power forward eligibility last season, so to avoid redundancy we won’t go into too much depth.
Just know that Tier V is home to a few players with concerning injury histories — Parker, Gallinari, Gay — as well as concerns about where they’ll fit in. Covington could end up as the odd man out of the starting five in Philadelphia — as could Crowder in Cleveland — though both players will play significant roles, regardless of whether they start.
Barnes and Anthony are perhaps the two safest options, though neither offers much outside of scoring production and average rebounding.
Tier VI: Still Unproven
Markieff Morris, Wizards Andrew Wiggins, Timberwolves
These two don’t have much in common, other than that they should be drafted between tiers five and seven. Wiggins still possesses seemingly unlimited potential but is yet to post a top-100 fantasy season in his three-year career. He’s likely to repeat as one of the league-leaders in minutes, and that alone should warrant optimism. If these two share anything, it is an expectation for significant playing time, as Morris averaged 31.2 minutes per game last season, and the Wizards’ bench looks to have only gotten worse.
Tier VII: Low-end Starters
Marvin Williams, Hornets Thad Young, Pacers Josh Richardson, Heat* Taurean Prince, Hawks*
Young and Prince are preseason favorites to emerge as “good stats/bad team” guys. Young has already shown his strength in this area as a member of the 76ers and Nets, while Prince will be a newcomer to the role. Richardson and Williams are good players with strong, fantasy-friendly games, but both face a rotation that appears far more crowded now than it did in April.
Richardson and Prince carry an additional drawback – they’re two of only a handful of players without eligibility at multiple positions. Richardson has a better chance at adding shooting guard than Prince has at adding any second eligibility.
Tier XIII: Question Marks with Upside
Ben Simmons Dario Saric James Johnson Evan Fournier Aaron Gordon
We’re past the point where teams are likely to grab a fantasy stud, so this tier is all about players who should have enough opportunity to make an impact.
Gordon and Fournier will be staples in the Magic’s starting lineup, but Fournier may have reached his ceiling, while Gordon has been up-and-down while shuffling between both forward spots. The arrival of No. 6 overall pick Jonathan Isaac could once again force Gordon to play out of position, at times.
Tier IX: Low-end Roster Filler
Wesley Matthews, Mavericks T.J. Warren, Suns Ersan Ilyasova, Hawks Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Nets Joe Ingles, Jazz Tim Hardaway, Jr., Knicks Kent Bazemore, Hawks Jayson Tatum, Celtics* Rodney Hood, Jazz
Late in the draft, managers should be looking for upside – after all, most of these players are likely to be waiver fodder after a few weeks.
These players have some potential to earn a longer stay on fantasy rosters. Most are draft-worthy, though none inspire a ton of confidence. The top group has more upside than the bottom group, as you’d expect. A more conservative approach to the end of the draft would result in a noticeably different ordering of these 14 players.
Tier X: The Rest
Wilson Chandler, Nuggets Dion Waiters, Heat Brandon Ingram, Lakers Will Barton, Nuggets Jaylen Brown, Celtics Josh Jackson, Suns

Dose: Rudy Gay's season over?
Tumblr media
Rudy Gay’s torn Achilles was the story of the night, Anthony Davis escaped with a new injury, Kevin Durant scored 40, The Process was at it again, and Russell Westbrook and DeMarcus Cousins triple-doubled on Wednesday. Dose breaks down a busy nine-game night.
Pacers 106, Kings 100 – Paul George scored 24 and Jeff Teague had 22 points and 11 dimes in the win Pacers' impressive comeback win. Al Jefferson scored 20 with three rebounds off the bench in just 17 minutes, hitting 9-of-12 shots. Ignore him. The Pacers’ box score is far from mesmerizing, but they got the win.
The Kings made the news of the night as Rudy Gay tore his Achilles and is likely out for the rest of the season. Garrett Temple, Matt Barnes and Anthony Tolliver will all benefit. All three were already borderline players to own and Gay’s injury should change them into must-own players going forward, at least in most leagues. None of the trio hit double digits in scoring last night, but all played at least 20 minutes, despite Gay playing 28 minutes before going down. DeMarcus Cousins had a 25-12-10 triple-double, along with a steal, three blocks, a 3-pointer and nine turnovers, and his usage rate should go through the roof without Gay around. Darren Collison had 11 points and nine assists in a revenge game against the Pacers, and was helped by the absence of Ty Lawson (ankle). Lawson is day-to-day.
Sixers 94, Raptors 89 – Do you trust the Process? You should. Joel Embiid had 26 points, nine boards, a steal, a coupe blocks and a couple threes as the Sixers won again. They’ve now won seven of their last nine games and are actually thinking playoffs, as crazy as that sounds. They’re only 5.5 games out of the No. 8 spot in the East, so stranger things have happened. T.J. McConnell played through his wrist injury and had a 10-5-8 line in 29 minutes, so it looks like he’s good to go. Ersan Ilyasova scored 18 points with three 3-pointers, but the rest of the Sixers didn’t do much, which makes the win that much more interesting.
The Raptors were talking about sitting but DeMar DeRozan in this one, but he played and scored 25 points with six assists. Kyle Lowry returned from a rest and had 24 points, four rebounds, four assists, five steals, a block and three 3-pointers, and Jonas Valanciunas added 10 points and 16 rebounds in the loss. DeMarre Carroll got knocked out of this one in the third quarter with a neck injury and didn’t return, putting a fork in his zero-point night and he’s day-to-day. Patrick Patterson was out again with a knee injury, but the Raptors welcomed back Jared Sullinger (foot), who finally debuted and had eight points and three rebounds in 14 minutes. If you’re in a deep league he’s worth a look, especially with Carroll and Patterson banged up. Tuesday’s hero, Cory Joseph, played 26 minutes, but hit just 2-of-5 shots for five points, two rebounds and three assists. Lucas Nogueira was out with a concussion, leaving him very iffy for Friday at the Hornets.
Wizards 104, Grizzlies 101 – Markieff Morris stayed hot with another 17 & 12 double-double, Otto Porter Jr. racked up 25 points, seven boards and six 3-pointers and John Wall had 25 points and 13 dimes in the win. It was an off night for Bradley Beal, who hit just 4-of-14 shots for 12 points. Kelly Oubre cooled off after playing well the night before, and the only thing you need to know here is that Porter hit 9-of-12 shots and is one of this season’s fantasy surprises. He should be owned in 100 percent of the leagues out there. And if Morris is still available in your league, there’s a problem.
JaMychal Green finally came through with a nice game, hitting 6-of-7 shots and two 3-pointers for 15 points and 13 rebounds. It’s rare for JAM to hit double figures in either points or rebounds these days, and this was his first double-double since December 18. Maybe this is a sign that he’s about to get hot again, but it’s been a rough ride for more than a month. Marc Gasol and Mike Conley played well, Chandler Parsons was invisible again as his lost season continued, and none of the other Grizzlies did much of anything last night.
Pistons 118, Hawks 95 – The Pistons came in reeling and the Hawks had won 9-of-10 games, so of course, the Pistons blew the Hawks out in Detroit. Marcus Morris is rolling right now and had 14 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and a 3-pointer and has scored in double figures in four straight games. He’s been doing well since Kentavious Caldwell-Pope went down and should be owned in all leagues right now. Starters Tobias Harris, Andre Drummond (double-double) and Reggie Jackson all played well, while KCP’s fill-in, Reggie Bullock, had his best game with a season-high 15 points, six rebounds, four assists, a steal and two 3-pointers on 6-of-11 shooting. Unfortunately for Bullock, KCP could return from his shoulder injury on Saturday, so I don’t have much hope for Bullock going forward. Stanley Johnson played 32 minutes, but didn’t do anything with them, which is usually the case. If you picked him up like I did, it’s time to throw him back on the wire with KCP nearing a return.
The Hawks were a mess in this one, as only Paul Millsap really showed up with 21 points and eight rebounds. Thabo Sefolosha wasn’t hurt (that we know of), but only played 12 minutes, while Kent Bazemore, Dwight Howard and Dennis Schroder didn’t play much in the second half of an ugly blowout. You know things are bad when the ex Mr. Kardashian, Kris Humphries, is second on the team in scoring with 13 points. And Tim Hardaway went back to the bench and played just 19 minutes with 10 points. I’m good with holding onto Hardaway, as last night was one big fluke, and Howard’s four points and three rebounds were particularly disappointing in his return from a day of rest on Monday. Just throw the Hawks’ box score in the trash and get ready for a new day when they play the Bulls on Friday.
Hornets 107, Blazers 85 – Kemba Walker had 23 points, five dimes and four 3-pointers and Nicolas Batum had a nice revenge game with 17 points, seven boards, seven assists, two blocks and a 3-pointer against his former team. Cody Zeller had nine points, 10 rebounds and a block, while Marvin Williams and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist were a bit quiet. Roy Hibbert played 22 minutes and had 16 points and six rebounds, but I still don’t trust him enough to roster him, and Marco Belinelli and Frank Kaminsky each scored in double figures off the bench. I still think Zeller should be owned in most leagues.
Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum both put up solid numbers despite both of them hitting just 7-of-18 shots, and CJM has now failed to score 20 in two straight games after doing so in 10 straight. Struggling Miles Plumlee had eight points, 10 rebounds and three blocks, Moe Harkless had just nine points and one rebound, and Al-Farouq Aminu had seven points and seven boards in the loss. I’d rather own AFA than Harkless right now, but both are worth rostering in most leagues. The Blazers bench was pretty quiet and only Evan Turner and Allen Crabbe are worth a look in deep leagues.
Knicks 117, Celtics 106 – Carmelo Anthony hit just 5-of-14 shots for 13 points in the aftermath of his dispute with Phil Jackson, which was disappointing. Derrick Rose went off for 30 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks, while Mindaugas Kuzminskas started again for Kristaps Porzingis and had 17 points, six rebounds and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes. Porzingis will have an MRI on his Achilles injury and I’m officially worried about him. Grabbing Kuz and seeing what happens is a smart plan here. Porzingis has missed four straight and we’ll know more about his future after the MRI. Kyle O’Quinn started with Joakim Noah out with a sore ankle, but played just 10 minutes and burned about half the DFS players in existence, me included. Willy Hernangomez hit 8-of-13 shots off the bench for 17 points and 11 rebounds, Justin Holiday scored 13 off the bench, and Brandon Jennings had 11 off the pine. Unknown Marshall Plumlee played 20 minutes and had five points, seven rebounds and two blocks, but he and Hernangomez probably aren’t guys you’ll want to target in your fantasy league. And after last night, I’m not all that fond of holding onto O’Quinn.
Isaiah Thomas went off for 39 points and five 3-pointers and Jae Crowder stayed hot with 21 points, five boards and two 3-pointers, but the rest of the Celtics weren’t great. Marcus Smart started for Avery Bradley (Achilles) and hit just 1-of-6 shots, but is worth picking up as Bradley could miss more time with his lingering injury. I guess we should have sold high on Bradley a few weeks ago, but I didn’t see this Achilles injury being this big of a problem for Bradley. Al Horford hit just 2-of-14 shots for five points, 10 boards, a steal, a block and a 3-pointer, and Amir Johnson had 10 points, seven boards and two blocks in just 18 minutes. I need to see more from Amir before recommending him as a pickup. Terry Rozier played 24 minutes and would see a boost if Bradley’s going to miss time, so just keep an eye on him.
Pelicans 118, Magic 98 – Anthony Davis had 21 points, 14 rebounds and a block after suffering a hand injury to go along with his hip and thumb problem. He needed X-rays on his left hand and played with a splint on two fingers last night. He’s powering through these nagging injuries, but they’re starting to pile up, meaning it might be time to think about selling high on AD before the injuries finally catch up with him. Dante Cunningham started over Terrence Jones and had 14 points and five rebounds. TJ played just 18 minutes off the bench for seven points, five rebounds, a steal, a block and a 3-pointer. I love TJ, but he just can’t catch a break. But with AD so banged up and Cunningham just not that effective, Jones should still be held in most leagues. Jrue Holiday had 14 points, five steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers and Buddy Hield scored 10 points with two 3-pointers in another start. Langston Galloway had 18 points and four 3-pointers off the bench in a blowout, but isn’t trustworthy, and Tyreke Evans stayed hot with 18 points, three steals and four 3-pointers in 20 minutes. Evans has played well in five straight games and is showing no signs of slowing down.
The Magic saw starters Serge Ibaka, Aaron Gordon, Nikola Vucevic and Elfrid Payton all play well and score in double digits, while Jodie Meeks managed just five points in 16 minutes in another start for Evan Fournier. Fournier is still dealing with a foot injury and we just don’t know how much he’ll play in the next 10 days, making Meeks worth a deep-league look, despite last night’s disappearing act.
Rockets 111, Bucks 92 – James Harden finally shot it well, hitting 14-of-25 shots, four 3-pointers and 6-of-6 free throws for 38 points, six rebounds and eight assists in another stellar outing. Patrick Beverley had 12 points, nine boards, five assists, three steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers in one of his best games, and Montrezl Harrell started and had 12 points, eight boards and five blocks. Maybe he’s not done just yet, but Clint Capela should eventually hurt him. Capela played just 11 minutes off the bench last night, so just be patient with him for now. Trevor Ariza and Corey Brewer started, but floundered with Ryan Anderson out with an illness. I see no reason to hold Brewer, but Ariza is better than this on most nights. Eric Gordon played through an ankle problem and hit 9-of-20 shots and seven more 3-pointers for 25 points and four rebounds. He’s good to go. Sam Dekker played 25 minutes in the absence of Anderson, but scored just five points.
Giannis Antetokounmpo racked up 32 points, 11 rebounds, six dimes, a steal, three blocks and a 3-pointer in 37 minutes. He’s SO good. Jabari Parker had 15 points and seven boards, while starters John Henson, Tony Snell and Malcolm Brogdon all failed to score in double figures. Brogdon did have seven points, eight boards, eight assists, a steal and a 3-pointer, and continues to hold off Matthew Dellavedova for the starting gig. Ride him until the wheels come off. Michael Beasley had 14 points, eight boards, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 24 minutes in a revenge game against the Rockets. He’s not worth owning in most leagues, but if you play in a 14- or 16-team league, he’s at least worth a look. The Bucks went small so Greg Monroe wasn’t a factor last night. There is talk that Khris Middleton (hamstring) could return around the All-Star break, but I think he’s going to be brought along slowly, so I’m not rushing out to stash him.
Warriors 121, Thunder 100 – Klay Thompson was able to get to the arena after a personal issue and started, scoring 14 points on 5-of-12 shooting. Props to Klay for making that happen, even though he didn’t have his best stuff. Kevin Durant went off for 40 points and a fun stat line that included 13-of-16 shooting, and Stephen Curry added 24 points and eight dimes in the easy win. Draymond Green had 12 points, 11 rebounds, a steal and three blocks, while Zaza Pachulia scored five points and made headlines by drilling Russell Westbrook. Westbrook said after the game that he’s going to “get his ass back for that one,” which could bring some discipline from the league.
Westbrook had another dubious quadruple-double with 27 points, 15 rebounds, 13 assists and 10 3-pointers, hitting just 8-of-23 shots. That makes 21 triple-doubles for Westy, but you have to think he’s getting tired, which is impacting his turnovers and poor shooting. Steven Adams was out again with a concussion, but starters Domantas Sabonis, Jerami Grant and Andre Roberson were very quiet. Victor Oladipo was solid with 20 points, four steals and four 3-pointers, and Enes Kanter hit 11-of-18 shots for 22 points and nine boards off the bench. The Thunder are off until Monday, so Maybe Adams will be back for that one, but Kanter’s a must-own either way.

Fantasy Basketball position tiers: Power forward values for 2017-18
Tumblr media

Alex Rikleen, RotoWire Special to Yahoo Sports
Before we get into the 2017-18 power forward tiers, here are a few notes to keep in mind:
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks Kevin Durant, Warriors Anthony Davis, Pelicans
For the first year in a basketball generation, the top of fantasy drafts is wide open. No fewer than eight players are reasonable choices with the first overall pick. Antetokounmpo was a top-five player last year, in his 21-year-old season, and is eligible at power forward and small forward.
Durant and Davis have both been top-five players in each year except for their rookie seasons, and each has spent at least one season as the number one overall per-game fantasy producer.
Tier II: First Round Values
Nikola Jokic, Nuggets DeMarcus Cousins, Pelicans
While these two should not be selected inside the top eight, they provide clear first-round value, and are much closer to the tier above than the one below. In addition to near-nightly double-doubles, both provide unusual production for big men: Jokic averaged 5.8 assists per game after entering the starting lineup last season, while Cousins’ 2.1 threes per game as a Pelican ranked third among power forward or center-eligible players.
Tier III: Top-15 Upside
LeBron James, Cavaliers Kristaps Porzingis, Knicks Paul George, Thunder Draymond Green, Warriors Myles Turner, Pacers Kevin Love, Cavaliers Joel Embiid, 76ers
James and George have recently been top-15 players, but both are coming off of relatively down seasons, and new point guards might require an adjustment period.
Green has provided solid second-round production for three straight seasons, and the Warriors made no major changes this offseason. Porzingis and Turner are third year players who are barely old enough to drink, yet are already the foundation and identity of their franchises. Love is only 28-years-old, and finally seems comfortable in Cleveland. Keep in mind that he was a top-10 producer three of his last four years in Minnesota.
Based on upside alone, Embiid belongs a tier higher, but his injury history makes him a massive risk.
Tier IV: Multi-Category Staples
Al Horford, Celtics Otto Porter, Wizards Paul Millsap, Nuggets
This small tier consists of three quality, high-end starters. Their ceiling and their floor are pretty close – none are likely either to crack the top 30, or fall outside the top 50. These do-no-harm players should all see stable minutes as key pieces on playoff-caliber teams.
Tier V: High-Risk, High-Reward
Blake Griffin, Clippers Clint Capela, Rockets Andre Drummond, Pistons Harrison Barnes, Mavericks Carmelo Anthony, Knicks LaMarcus Aldridge, Spurs Jabari Parker, Bucks Danilo Gallinari, Clippers Tobias Harris, Pistons Dwight Howard, Hornets Robert Covington, 76ers Jae Crowder, Cavaliers Nikola Vucevic, Magic Rudy Gay, Spurs
Through the middle of the draft, managers will be have several opportunities to select a power forward who is highly risky in some ways, but also possess a realistic path into the top 40.
Griffin, Parker and Gallinari each carry injury concerns, and all three have missed at least 20 games in two of the last three seasons. If Griffin plays 70-plus games, he could easily leap up a tier or two.
Anthony and Aldridge are former fantasy elites who have declined more rapidly than expected, given their age. Harris and Barnes are both 25 years old and locked into high-minutes roles, yet neither has lived up to the optimistic outlooks their early careers inspired.
Tier VI: Boring But Steady
Gorgui Dieng, Timberwolves Nerlens Noel, Mavericks Serge Ibaka, Raptors Markieff Morris, Wizards
As the players with major upside dry up, managers should look to this tier for reliable production. None will stuff the box score on a nightly basis, but they all should have quality rankings at the end of the season. Dieng and Ibaka both finished last season inside the top 55. Morris and Noel both finished in the top 75 and are in better situations than they were last season.
Tier VII: Question Marks
Dirk Nowitzki, Mavericks Pau Gasol, Spurs Julius Randle, Lakers* Marvin Williams, Hornets
Will 22-year-old Randle take the next step in his development? His team should be better, and if Instagram is a reliable source, he’s already in much better shape. Nowitzki and Gasol are former All-Stars, but are among the oldest players in the league.
Randle carries an additional drawback – he’s one of only two players in this piece without eligibility at multiple positions. He’s a power forward only, and he’s not likely to add a second position mid-season.
Tier VIII: Steady Producers
Thad Young, Pacers Ben Simmons, 76ers Dario Saric, 76ers Willie Cauley-Stein, Kings Ryan Anderson, Rockets Derrick Favors, Jazz James Johnson, Heat Aaron Gordon, Magic
Saric is the only one who is not a clear starter, and he’d still be a high usage sixth man if Robert Covington beats him out for the fifth starting spot.
A few past rankings worth noting: Young was a top-40 player the last time he was on a lottery team. Favors was a top-30 player in 2015-16 but finished outside the top 150 in 2016-17. Cauley-Stein ranked inside the top-75 after Cousins was traded in February.
Simmons warrants extra consideration because of his positional eligibility. The 76ers have openly discussed utilizing him at point guard. If that ultimately happens, eligibility across three positions is fairly rare and would grant managers significantly increased roster flexibility.
Tier IX: High-Upside Young Players
Marquese Chriss, Suns* Frank Kaminsky, Hornets Richaun Holmes, 76ers
Late in the draft, managers should be looking for upside – after all, most of these players are likely to be waiver fodder after a few weeks. Within the sea of possible late-round roster fillers, these three stand out as young players who could develop into strong fantasy assets.
Tier X: Low-End Roster Filler
Ersan Ilyasova, Hawks Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Nets Greg Monroe, Bucks Skal Labissiere, Kings Zach Randolph, Kings Thon Maker, Bucks
The description pretty much says it all. These players will probably be dropped quickly but are at least worthy of an initial roster spot.
